sure! we like usin' cringegenic for a few reasons! such as spite, ppl call use cringe, call our system cringe, us being mixed origin and multigenic cringe, so using cringegenic is like a big, Reclaiming thing for us!

some other reasons we use it is due headmates who formed due to or to help deal with things caused by bullying and harrassment in the name of cringe or to deal with the fear of being cringe. (cringegenic pluralpedia page link)

One of our other systems uses queergenic (link) and mogaigenic (link) bcuz they are all introjects of different labels & identities. they also formed to hold our special interest in MOGAI & coining, so it makes sense that way too!

hope it's okay to vent abt ex pro endo experience. i still feel guilty for it, to be honest. spreading misinfo about not needing to have trauma to be a system and being in an echo chamber of pro endos until meeting ppl with DID and OSDD and learning so much more, which lead me to realize that the system im a part of is traumagenic. my heart goes out to all other ex pro endos too. it's hard to break that cycle but im proud that i managed and grow from it and im proud of anyone else who has too.

It's perfectly fine, sometimes it's hard to find actual real information on disorders and stuff now with all these echo chambers of misinformation. (Idk if that made sense). It's understandable how someone can get confused and caught up in endos stuff, but I feel like as long as you grow and realise your mistakes it's fine. i’m gonna apologize in advance for my lack of answer around “weakness” bc i dont see the likely traits as weaknesses per se, even if they are lolol even if they have caused conflict between them and i dont know how to explain why lol… i think bc those traits are a part of them just like any other and i feel like its their strong love that causes them to lash out which is… endearing and cute… LOL.

1. Reo: strength is amazing emotional resilience. he fell so hard but bounced back relatively quickly. great emotional reflection and insight, very very impressive to me fr. i’m a therapist so i work w reflection and insight often! its tough shit! esp when youre 17! weaknesssss… probably running his mouth when emotional and pushing nagi away when he rlly just wanted to keep him close but i love.., the drama of it all… LOL… mmm… reo’s denial of nagi’s feelings is also strong but he’s trying to protect himself. he’s truly just like me fr so i cannot judge him LOL. he’s a very beautiful and strong representation of human passion and just.. emotion. i love him a lot!

2. Nagi: strength is single minded devotion and determination even while finding himself during the journey to be the best in the world. i love that he’s sentimental about promises also, he’s very cute… both nare have a great gap moe thing going… weakness plot wise is definitely lack of a concrete ego and struggle to figure it out. but again insight is hard esp when ur 17! and had nobody in ur life before. he’s my favorite chara and feels relatable in the sense of uhhh listless and depressive experiences but rlly loving someone a lot regardless and that love being motivation to live well. he ofc also lashed out at reo and struggled to communicate but i count this as a mutual conflict more so than a holistic personal weakness… he seems to be doing his best to improve as much as he can w his limited insight (like trying to praise reo more) i know ppl often like to take sides in their conflict so i will say i do not believe in choosing a side between them lol. but ive seen nagi get way too much blame so that upsets me more. i know reo blame is out there but i somehow havent seen it as much. i dont think either should be blamed for mutual misunderstanding.

3. Dynamic: oh gosh what dont i love hahah… i just talked abt this in another ask but i love their devotion to each other, the strength of their bond - even if it wavers they cant break it, they cant help but love and need each other… truly spring of youth first love etc etc. theyve gone thru sm! adorable hakuho era, divorce arc, and now reunion… their trajectory is fascinating and they truly fit sm of my favorite tropes lol. also love that theyre silly together and best friends and each others first friends..!!! wails. theyre so cute. and messy LOL but idk that’s fun and they dont seem like, uniquely messy compared to other 17 yr olds. theyre a great snapshot of young love HAHA (i say this affectionately as a former Messy Teenager in Love… i adore them)

4. Canon moments: THE WAIST GRAB + “I’M REO’S PARTNER” SHAHSKSKS that solidified my obsession w them! also “ive always been with you” and nagi running at the sight of reo’s sad face and trying for the first time… those are my top 3! but i lose my mind with every new episode nagi internal monologue looool ch 29 KILLED ME i havent recovered yet nagi is so down bad for his wife… i am seeing now that my top 3 are nagi @ reo moments… oops. what can i say i love a wifeguy!

5. HCs: hmmm this is hard bc i feel like… i dont have a lot… if i want them to do smthn it usually ends up as a fic detail, so im not sure if i have any concrete universal ones besides 1) they get more plants and pets when theyre older. i have two cats im VERY biased so either two cats, or one cat and one dog. cat for nagi dog for reo :) oh individually… i like the idea of reo with beauty marks, both of them with sunspots/freckles… nagi with bunny teeth. :’) sorry if this isnt a lot 😭😭😭 im not a big hc girly but i like spinning ideas with friends about little AUs and what they would do in those AUs so i think that is probably specific headcannoning? but feels like universally canon nare-related… unsure how to explain sorry 😭

6. Other ships: Most similar is probably Reki/Langa from SK8. I like Renga but they’re not my favorite simply bc I’m content with their canon storyline and don’t feel the need to explore them further… but theyre very cute and have the friends/talent comparison/misunderstanding/loss of priority/interest to “better competition”/sport anime flavor of gaaaay going on LOL. I also like Gabimaru/Yui from Hell’s Paradise but that is… less concretely similar lol. More like vibes of 1) fluffy white haired guy who was empty inside until He Fell for His Wife and 2) cute, sweet wife who teaches guy how to Live… precious. i love gabiyui a lot and had to disqualify them from top 7 only bc theres not muuuuch abt them that we get to see but what we see is AMAZING and PERFECT and i would die for a gabiyui domestic happiness spinoff plsplspslspsl hshzhksms and ofc their marriage is the driving motivation for gabimaru in the story…!! Newly into DanDaDan but I think you could spin nagireo as momokarun… but also less concretely… but very fun best friends x dynamic duo x sweet teenage love with a little misunderstanding vibes there :)

So um, I'm lower on money than I've ever been and I'm too burnt out to do commissions for ppl due to personal stuff, but I feel like... if I made one charm or one sticker for a particularly huge fandom/movie that's out right now, and if I put it up as preorder and sold at least 20 keychains then I'd be able to pay my bills this month. but I've never sold physical merch before and I'm a little nervous to try it haha :'D

Would you recommend I try making an Etsy since it seems to have a large enough audience, or do you think I should try making my own website/shop? I'm definitely not ready to consistently sell things as a steady job yet, I thought I'd try literally just one single keychain or one sticker sheet (I already learned how to make those, thankfully) in order to pay my rent this month bc I've only got about a hundred dollars to my name sdflkfssdf;; and if it goes well then maybe I can try it again.

I'm also not quite sure how to price things? if I made a 3.5 inch acrylic charm with the little star shaped keychains like from Vograce, do people normally price those at $15 when they sell them? should I also account for shipping? I've also umm never shipped merch before and I'm so worried about somehow messing it up sldfjsf like I don't know what kind of envelopes I have to get or if I should even use my own address bc I'm so nervous about my personal info being out there, but I don't know if it's worth paying for a PO box if I'm so low on money already. if you have any tips on anything whatsoever, I would appreciate any feedback if you're not busy. no prob! here are my thoughts:

pros/cons of etsy:

apparently if you're new to selling on etsy, there's a probationary period where etsy withholds your profits for 3 months. i don't know anything about it personally since it started in 2020, but it seems that funds are only released when your shipped orders are scanned at the post office. i think i also remember hearing about other cases where payments aren't released at all for 3 months--and etsy customer service has a reputation of being difficult to get a hold of if you have a problem as a seller, so if etsy made a mistake with your shop, it may take even more months to resolve. since you have preorders in mind, i would hold off on etsy unless you can pay out of pocket.

etsy can drive traffic towards your listing for you (if you choose the right keywords--it's more difficult to be discovered just randomly if you don't).

they have high fees (for a $15 charm they'd take $1.88 in fees, which is 12.5%).

people may be cautious to buy from a shop that has no reviews yet, but many customers are protected by etsy's purchase protection and can be refunded at no cost to you if their order gets lost in the mail (provided that you ship with a tracking number and meet other criteria).

etsy will strongly recommend that you offer free shipping; ignore them. i don't think i've ever bought fanmerch with free shipping in my life, and their advice isn't geared towards sellers like us.

preorders don't work very well with etsy's system--iirc you're not supposed to do them (even though people still do, of course) but the main reason i remember is that the max processing time etsy lets you set per product (as in, the time between the customer purchasing the listing and you shipping it out) is 6 weeks. that means that the time you allow for customers to place their preorders, the time it takes for you to order and receive the merch, and the time it takes for you to ship out orders, all need to add up a max of 6 weeks, which was personally a difficult timeline for me to meet when making keychains. ofc, it's possible to extend the processing time, but going over the processing time may make it possible for customers to leave reviews/open cases early before you're even ready to ship out their orders, which could affect the reputation of your shop.

pros/cons of not etsy:

if you're not going with etsy, i've heard people recommend bigcartel, since it doesn't require a subscription like shopify or other places do. bigcartel's free plan is limited, but it should work for what you're looking for. another alternative might be ko-fi--i've heard that ko-fi shops aren't ideal for shipping out a large amount of orders, but since you're targeting just 20 i think it should be manageable.

ofc, you'll have to drive all your traffic yourself, so consider if you have enough of a following in your target fandom, or how you should go about getting your post noticed by your target fandom.

unlike etsy, shipping isn't auto-calculated, so i'd probably set a flat rate (in the US i'd expect $5). flat rates might make calculating your taxes just a little bit more complicated; in california at least, you have to pay taxes on the difference between the shipping you charge your customers and the shipping you actually pay to the post office, so iirc you either refund the extra shipping to the customer or hand it all over in taxes.

pricing:

yes, the standard price for ~3" acrylic keychains is $15, though i've also seen people go up to $16 or $17, especially on etsy where the fees are high.

shipping should be a separate cost, either auto-calculated for you (if you're on etsy/shopify) or a flat rate that you set based on shipping rates for your country, so in the end a customer might pay $15 + $5 = $20 in total.

unless most of your prospective customers are international, i'd recommend against shipping internationally to avoid dealing with customs forms, especially since you already have a lot of info to take in.

you can ship everything in a regular bubble mailer, though if you're just shipping stickers not keychains, a flat envelope should work fine. when shipping packages, you'll need to know the weight of each package, but you can just go by an estimate. a 3" acrylic keychain weighs about 1 oz (it weighs less than that, but they don't accept decimals) so i just multiply based on how many keychains are in an order. for usps at least, shipping is the same rate up until 10 oz iirc, so you don't need to weigh it super accurately. you could also always just go into the post office and have them weigh and label everything for you.

po box:

if regular PO box rates in your area are too high, you can also consider using a virtual po box; they go for about $10 per month at their most basic plans. if you're not expecting to get any mail redirected back to you, you should be able to just buy a month's subscription when you're ready to ship things out.

words of caution:

you probably already know this, but large fandoms can often be oversaturated by merch, so just choosing a large fandom might not be enough to guarantee a sale--you might have to stand out by, say, choosing a character who's in demand but doesn't have much fanmerch, having a funny meme concept, or having such a unique/attractive style that people can't help but want your fanmerch in particular. if you haven't already, i'd recommend looking around the market and seeing what's out there and decide why a buyer should choose your merch over anyone else's. though honestly, depending on your fandom, it could also not be this serious and not warrant much research--it all depends!

even if the preorder process works out and you get the funds to place the order, the manufacturer could always mess up on your order, which could lead to delays in your fulfillment and at worst, more expenses if you need to pay to get them remade. if it's easier to get sticker sheets made (like if you make them yourself/locally instead of ordering from overseas) they might be a safer choice of merch to make. ofc, i don't generally see sticker sheets up for preorder so you'd probably have to order them out of pocket and hope they sell, and you'll probably have to sell more of them than you would of keychains to get the same amount of profit. i don't know the whole situation, so i can't say anything definite about the risks/rewards between choosing to sell keychains and choosing to sell stickers.

this is basically my solution to chloe & lola having wildly different ages/implications from the rest of the curious siblings. glarn gave birth to hybrid babies, abandoned them to his ex wife, then had 3 other children. yet there in the bin, the alien twins r acting like theyre just starting out on their own as new adults instead of being older than their sister with the nearly-adult son

this obviously makes no sense & i couldnt reconcile their ages with the games intent, which i rly wanted to do for my aging/rotation system! i think they should remain new adults, but they cant be if they were born before jenny & i didnt want to retcon glarn into leaving the curious siblings or anything like that. theres also the matter of the smith-curious family tree, which i think is sposed to be awkward & weird on purpose so i was limited there too

it took a decade but i decided that introducing a generations distance from glarn & pt9 was the way to do. in my game, glarn gave birth to a single alien hybrid who later in her life gave birth to chloe & lola

^ thats her thats zona curious. shes a romance sim & a guitarist apparently. for the most part her story is that she was raised by glabe ofc, shes somewhat cynical & resentful toward her birth fathers new family, seeing her siblings around but they dont even know she exists & decided to leave town bc it was, yknow, half made up of her relatives (+she LOVES travel). idk what she did btwn but she brought her twins back or maybe they came back on their own, they grew into the sims we know in the bin today, younger than the sims that were previously their siblings too. then zona died ofc

so its fun for me bc that means pt9 is lola & chloes grandfather. johnny, jill, & unborn baby/tycho r their cousins + niblings. jenny, pascal, vidcund, & lazlo r their aunt & uncles + their sibling in-laws. their family tree weirdness remains intact

im abt to put zona in a round robin hood so other ppl will play her & im excited to see where that goes

It’s officially been over a year since I tried to get help for my BPD thru the medical system.

I tried to do an inpatient program that was 5 days a week for like 3 hours a day or something. And it took me like 4-5 months to even get in bc bitches weren’t picking up the phone or unresponsive. And after months of perseverance I finally got in and I was so excited to start.

But ofc it was a hot mess bc any mental care thru my insurance is hot garbage. Had I stayed longer I prob wudve been more fucked up tbh. I was only there for like 3 weeks max lol.

Like they literally wud treat u like ur a threat the moment u walk in. Also cold as hell. Clinical, not human to human. And straight up was like ya btw we work very closely with the police just so you know <3. Like just that comment Made me want to fight this bitch lmao. And one of the therapists literally said “that’s hot” when one of the patients disclosed with him that she thinks she’s a lesbian…like is this even real.

Ugh there was so much more fucked up shit (too much to write rn) but I left as soon as I realized how bad it was. And I thought oh Mayb I’m just giving up, Mayb it’s part of the process blah blah. But like there were too many concrete fuckery things going on I couldn’t stay.

That whole experience was so infuriatingly frustrating but honestly that was the last thing to finally seal in my head that this system cannot help me. I’ve tried so much in a decade and ultimately was only able to get help through alternative ways. Like my therapist doesn’t even take insurance and I hav to pay out of pocket but it’s worth it for sure.

So as awful as it all was I’m glad it happened bc now I kno for a FACT that this medical system is simply not here to help me and many many others. In fact they want us all dead.

Anyway I feel like this is why ppl w/BPD have such high suicide rates . Bc I kno compared to NPD or ASPD ppl w/BPD tend to actually seek help on their own. But the system is literally so hostile and there’s only so many tries in you especially when you’re already down.

But u kno what, I remember feeling so hopeless after that shit didn’t work out but over this past year I can confidently say that I’m better than ever. I still have years and years of work to do to ultimately get into remission but I feel hopeful. I think when all ur expectations just fully crumble, u have to be creative in order to move on after that initial shock. And finding ur own solutions can be empowering in its own ways.

And just to b clear I’m not promoting fixing urself alone without any help ever. But I’m more so saying that the medical system does not have the tools to support us and in fact they are actively harming us.

Mayb this is more of a warning rant. Everyone stay safe. Even tho it’s hard to trust ur own emotions and thoughts, find ways to vet ppl out that are mental health professionals. Bc there’s a lot of scummy bitches out there..

1. The story with Sansal goes deep, this guy used to work in the Algerian government in Boutflika's era (the same he'd criticize as corrupt), he was a cadre working in trade yet he had 'special relations' with France and the French consulate (we know how some of them were involved in corruption now), many consider that he was a spy to the French government in the corruption era because of his links that extended to the head of state (literally tagging along Macron in his official visits). Sansal was kicked off his position for never being present in it, while confronted by the minister back then he was disrespectful (further showed his involvement with corruption) so he ended his work, that former minister had openly exposed his lies ever since.

Ever since he was fired, he was considered some symbol of freedom of speech (as if he was fired for his writings), given the French citizenship and started his full NeoHarka era where he says everything the French government wants him to say, from Islamophobia, to zionism agenda, to shitting on Algeria, its history and government, saying some unacceptable stuff.

Like you said, he went to visit the zionists, taking pictures in hait al buraq, but what's worse is that he used that to say "hey I did that with the Algerian citizenship, it's completely normal and now I'm allowed on Algerian soils ," while we all know this is completely illegal. But even with everything he said, he was allowed to go to Algeria many times, despite Algerians complaining about it and trying to make a case against him. What was the reason that finally pushed us to arrest him is his latest declaration that the western half of Algeria belongs to Morocco, this is completely illegal in the Algerian law, to question the territorial integrity of Algeria, for some colonialism agenda. (reminder that this guy said the Chouhada were dumb to fight France).

The thing is, the defiance of showing your face after this clear offense to the law was obviously deliberate, Algeria is again a gherbal to hide the disastrous state of France today, as soon as he was arrested and even though it was declared on national news many times "Algeria arrested sensal", was turned to "Sansal disappeared," as if we're a jungle not a sovereign state lol, and all exterme right figures started shitting their pants (ofc a NeoHarka, Islamophobic anti-Algerian spy like that was their ally and still needed, especially now to shit more on Algeria.)

2. The French president said "it is harming Algeria image to keep a sick old man without medical care under lock," when wrong, he is often seeing doctors, and false he wasn't arrested for being an old man, but for doing illegal shit. And I didn't know there was an age for prison in France? Last time I checked, France never batted an eyelash when many countries had been detaining older ppl, including themselves. Is is because he's got French citizenship? Well, before that, he's Algerian and is judged as such.

3. like you said France has no business interfering with our justice, when the French police killed Nahel (who has Algerian origins) and Algeria merely asked where the investigation reached, all of France protested to not interfere in their justice system (that is completely incompetent). This is also the France that illegally financed the FIS, if you go back to their media archives, they used all their means to protect them too (despite being Islamophobic) and are now trying to finance other extremist groups, they also shelter the MAK movement which is considered terrorist here, France whom also illegally jail Palestine supporters. So yep obviously not a country that can give moral lessons to anyone, least of all Algeria lol. So here the French president is using another manipulation tactic. Frankly, him saying "Algeria is dishonoring itself" is closely similar to the speech all French media took after Sansal arrestation, albeit a bit softened, since they'd literally say that "the military regime in Algeria is either a dictatorship or with France". I'd like to not that France let all those media talk shit about us for a month (for décennies actually) and after they understood it did nothing, they sent their president, yet again to try and control us, use this case to manipulate us and gaslight us.

5. The second infuriating point of his speech (I actually made a post abt it), was very well responded to by Tchad and Senegal. Not only he is calling Africans, ungrateful, bad-mannered and what was that 'it's not transmissible to humans'? He is simply being decomplexed in his colonialism, flaunting French Interventionism, how it is used to decide for those countries leaders in favor of France, wants Africans to say thank you about that (as if that's something to be thanked for, when you know that's exactly what's been keeping Africa behind, since all those corrupt leaders are never in favor of their people) then he went on and lied about how the French don't get kicked out (apparently they are here for moral reasons lol) but they coordinate their kicking out, they are just polite to let the Africans announce it first, okay, what do you call the fleeting of French armies from Mali and Niger? He might resume his journey, he might not, and if not someone (probably you or Pepa) finds him and hauls his ass back to bed. He gets his snack ofc bc he looks so pitiful that the person who found him can’t just not get him the food.

You’ll clean him up and get him back to bed but he says you should get going bc he doesn’t wanna get you sick too. You pull a “well I guess if you really don’t want me here…” and stand from the foot of his bed.

Camilo immediately starts contradicting himself “wait wait wait nooo don’t leaveee”

You put your hands on your hips and raise a brow, biting back a smile. Camilo blushes and avoids eye contact which is out of character for him but being sick makes him shy. He opens his arms reaches out doing like grabby hands, and in the softest voice he asks “Stay? Please?”

You let the smile break through and roll your eyes “of course, amor. Now scoot over.”

The most excited but exhausted grin splits across Camilo’s face and he does as told and lets you settle in. As soon as you’re comfortable he’s so friggin close that he’s almost an top of you.

He snuggles into you and inhales deeply, then sighs “Gracias, [your name]. For taking care of me.”

You wrap your arms around him and press a few kisses to his forehead “always, Cami.”

A comfortable silence falls and you trace along his back, maybe rub his tummy, definitely play with his hair, and Camilo’s out like a light. You follow soon after

and!!! well. i've seen a lot of ppl compare sonic to the sun/stars already, like sonic and knuckles having a sun/moon dynamic (which is v cool) and then in undefeatable "i'm what you get when stars collide", which is specifically about super sonic. also super sonic being compared to the sun as yknow he's golden and glowing lol. so i'm basically taking all those ideas but then also applying my love of stars to it!!!

so by blue stars i mean both o-type and b-type main sequence stars (which is like. a normal not dying star. our sun is also main sequence) which are the biggest and hottest main sequence stars, AND live the shortest bc of it. like literally the brightest stars burn the shortest, that's not only a cool phrase but a scientific fact. and doesn't that sound like a certain blue hedgehog? going around being a bright beacon of hope and saving the world but putting himself in so much danger he'll probably die young? :')

another fun thing about these blue stars is they can go supernova!! our sun is too small so will never do this, when it gets old it'll simply expand a bit (well, enough to swallow up all the planets) and then the outer layers will blow away. but bigger stars? they go through the same process of expanding but then collapse under their own weight and depending on the exact mass and contents of the star, this collapse causes either a neutron star, a black hole or- BOOM. supernova!! (funnily enough, another way of forming a supernova is from certain types of stars colliding!) these can be bright enough to be visible in the day and be brighter than an entire galaxy. so yknow *gestures to super sonic* he's like a supernova!! albeit a lot more controlled

the detail of this comparison i like the most is that a supernova is the death of a star. a very bright and beautiful death, and the elements created in the process go on to form new stars and planets (and us) but a death nonetheless. sonic's super form uses up his life force and if he stays like that for too long, he dies! it's a controlled explosion! he is extremely powerful while actively dying, so it's an obvious connection for me to make!! also ofc because they're blue stars and he's also blue lol

unrelated to sonic now lol but supernova also leave behind rlly pretty remnants, for example the crab nebula!!

isn't she beautiful??? this one's especially cool to me as the supernova that caused this was observed in 1054! we were here before this was created!

if you want examples of actual blue stars too, the constellation orion has rigel! (the bottom right star iirc) this is actually a system of like. 4 stars? 3 of them are b-type stars and the biggest is actually a blue supergiant (essentially in the process of dying, it will eventually go supernova). another orion star, betelgeuse (top left) is currently a red supergiant but used to be an o-type (so it's also in the process of dying, when it goes boom it'll be as bright as the moon!)

so ummm yeah. i think this was more me rambling about stars than sonic LOL but yeah i think if we're going to compare sonic to a star, then a blue star is a much better fit than our sun 😤
