The reason individual Slaaneshi characters are so straight despite Slaaneshi as a whole reading as very clearly queer is because Slaanesh is also associated with depravity and degeneracy of the worst kind. Even Slaanesh himself is a freak among the gods, different from them intrinsically and to the point of fear, hatred, and discomfort from everyone. The most overtly masculine of the gods, Khorne, just straight up openly hates him for reasons that aren't even super clear at first, even though Tzeentch would make better sense as a rival since Warriors and Wizards often are pitted as rivals/opposites in fantasy. But no, big masculine Khorne hates on feminine Slaanesh instead.

GW most likely isn't going to strongly code Slaanesh/Slaaneshi as being queer because they've also pretty irrevocably and clearly said he's a fucking freak and in fact the worst kind of freak on top of being artsy-fartsy. Trying to marry that with Queerness, a group of people historically and currently labelled as freaks and predators, is a PR nightmare waiting to happen. ESPECIALLY nowadays.

The thing about Sammary I feel is that once you actually see it, you kinda realise it’s everywhere. It literally starts with them, a mother trying to protect her baby and being killed for it except through the show, it unravels to reveal how deep their connection goes. Mary attempts at escape from her abusive home life ensuring Sam growing up the same way she was. The way they never actually know each other yet are constantly haunted by one another through their shared trauma and mutual guilt (Sam’s birth being Mary’s death). The thing that wore her father’s face whilst he coerced into a kiss being mistaken for Sam’s father whilst it feeds Sam’s its fluid. Demon blood being described as ‘better than mother’s milk’, milk being needed for a baby’s development, Sam’s own shame and self-hatred regarding a body narratively as assigned monstrous and grotesque through being sustained on demon blood and guilt about Mary’s death. His initial suppression then attempts to find autonomy through this violation leading to drinking Ruby’s blood (better than mother’s milk). The way that arc culminates on pinning a golden haired woman in a white dress (who previously aimed sexual advances at him) to a wall and killing her. The parallels between Mary, Lilith and Jessica.

Because I am lazy with reinventing stuff I have been looking at some fallen angels (mostly Watchers because there is a list) and it's so funny to me that there is/was an angel around to "Cure the stupidity of men" Like thanks I need no more

also there was one guy which bascially was a constellation myth for Orion and he and Azazel(/Lucifer/Satan/whoever pointed Eve to the apple) were punished by hanging out between Heaven and Earth...forever or a long time but that got me to think...this would mean that (insert name of whoever tempted Eve in YOUR specific texts) is also a constellation, and if it's Lucifer it'd be the Morning Star which from what I remember either refers to Venus OR the brightest Star in the Sky aka Sirius aka part of Canis Major aka the constellation right next to Orion Fallen Angel shenanigans in the Sky? it's more likely than you think

also smth smth them being turned into Constellations and humanity using Fallen Angels, aka the givers of forbidden knowledge (you know..like reading and stuff) to navigate smth smth

i think i can answer some of your questions :

the hopesword was totally useless beyond being used for the retcon to somehow fix mystique's mind as it's gone after that. spurrier insists it's stronger and more important than the soulsword by having his oc, mother righteous, steal it amongst the strongest magical artifacts in all marvel and not even consider taking the soulsword too. but fundamentally? we got no clue what makes it that big of a deal beyond it being made of nightcrawler's hope.

back in 2014, quest for nightcrawler resurrected kurt wagner by having him make a deal with the blue bamfs : they give him a body to walk the earth again and in exchange he gives them his soul. since his body is an important part of this deal, it can magically heal any fatal injury so nightcrawler couldn't die anymore. he had bamfs by his side for years after that who boosted his teleportation range. this was his status quo after that story and this is the very plotline spurrier references without realizing it makes everything he established not make sense anymore.

yes, the prophecy spurrier came up with has 616!nightcrawler be the only being able to stop 616! azazel from succeeding in his takeovers by suffering all his life, being purely good, being an xmen, looking like him, ... only for the bamf dragon to one-shot azazel in dark xmen in the same week the retcon came out. the bamf dragon who is none of those things 616! nightcrawler had to be to stop 616!azazel. azazel who was actually doing something good for once in the plot at the time.
