The thing about Sammary I feel is that once you actually see it, you kinda realise it’s everywhere. It literally starts with them, a mother trying to protect her baby and being killed for it except through the show, it unravels to reveal how deep their connection goes. Mary attempts at escape from her abusive home life ensuring Sam growing up the same way she was. The way they never actually know each other yet are constantly haunted by one another through their shared trauma and mutual guilt (Sam’s birth being Mary’s death). The thing that wore her father’s face whilst he coerced into a kiss being mistaken for Sam’s father whilst it feeds Sam’s its fluid. Demon blood being described as ‘better than mother’s milk’, milk being needed for a baby’s development, Sam’s own shame and self-hatred regarding a body narratively as assigned monstrous and grotesque through being sustained on demon blood and guilt about Mary’s death. His initial suppression then attempts to find autonomy through this violation leading to drinking Ruby’s blood (better than mother’s milk). The way that arc culminates on pinning a golden haired woman in a white dress (who previously aimed sexual advances at him) to a wall and killing her. The parallels between Mary, Lilith and Jessica.

the way demon blood millie works to me is a combination of three factors: 1) we know azazel kept doing that shit after his first crop of special kids, he was doing it in s1 to a random baby there, so she’s in the possible running, 2) the only people in the first round of demon kid hunger games were sam’s age, meaning she would not be a part of that anyway, and 3) they establish that the nursery fire pattern doesn’t hold up. so john wouldn’t even know.

Author interview

Mephisto is a character who can solve just about anything; does that make him hard to write? Honestly, he's super easy to deploy. Mephisto has the plot in the palm of his hand and can fix stuff behind the scenes; he's the one pulling the strings. For adaptations and spinoffs, I just say "if you need to fill in a plot hole, make it Mephisto's fault" (laughs). But I do think it's dangerous to overdo it.

He even took on a sort of narrator role in chapter 44, didn't he? Around Volume 10, I was trying to treat each chapter like its own self-contained oneshot. Mephisto didn't even feel out of place as an omniscient narrator for one chapter, and for me that really drove home what a convenient character he is. Though I'm always wondering when and how to show Mephisto's own serious motives and inner thoughts, since he does fall into that eternal comic narrator role.

He can suddenly turn terrifying just when you were thinking he was comical. Hidden depths. Fundamentally he's on the humans' side, and he's often in charge of comic relief, but I do want to show his demonic side too. Same with the familiars; I want to portray the demons as something humans are afraid of.

What The Sequel(s) to X-Men: Days of Future Past Should Have Looked Like

I haven’t even seen X-Men: Apocalypse or X-Men: Dark Phoenix start to finish but thanks to this app i know practically the entire plots of both films and i’m just so utterly appalled by them. Not just with the way they mess up the timeline (Jean & Scott as teenagers and Warren as a young adult in 1983?? Excuse me?? No way Logan’s time shenanigans altered people’s birth dates, what??) But also with the way they just butcher every character arc - Charles being selfish? Erik settling down with a human instead of continuing to fight for his cause and make up for his 10 years of inactivity? Giving Erik an OC daughter JUST to kill her 2 seconds later rather than focus on his fatherhood story with Peter? Erik and Ororo siding with Apocalypse to destroy the whole world? Hank turning on Charles when he alone stood by Charles post-beach divorce all those years? Raven being ungrateful to Charles for creating a better world for mutants? Trying to convince us that Charles was somehow in love with Moira and Erik was somehow in love with Raven? The X-Men throwing Charles out of his own house?? WHAT IS THIS?????

Frankly I don’t get why the writers tried (and failed) to give us more Jean and Scott and Ororo when we got plenty of them in the other movies and we know thanks to the end of X-Men: Days of Future Past that Charles will still eventually recruit them. Jean and Scott’s very presence at the end of that film shows that the sight of Logan’s memories of Jean’s original fate prompted Charles to NOT repeat his other self’s mistakes and instead use a better approach to help Jean that enabled her to keep the Phoenix under control and not hurt Scott. That’s all we need to know about them in the new timeline. We don’t need to see Charles messing up yet again when it comes to Jean when that ruins a huge layer of the meaning and impact of DOFP’s ending.

James McAvoy himself pointed out how unnecessary it felt to recycle characters from the original trilogy when the X-Men in the comics are full of plenty of other characters that could’ve been introduced in a DOFP sequel instead. He’s absolutely right.

But here’s what I really think: if any sequels to DOFP just HAD to be made, they shouldn’t have tried to stuff in even more characters. If they HAD to include another old character we’d seen before, it should’ve been Kurt Wagner and Kurt Wagner only. Why? Because he’s Raven & Azazel’s son. And this would only add to the parenthood theme already present through Erik & Peter, and Charles & his students; add a new dimension to Raven as a character as we explore how she feels about being a mother, and what happened that caused her to be separated from her child; and add a new dimension to Hank as we explore how he feels about potentially being a parental figure to Kurt as a result of following his heart toward Raven.

The sequel(s) should’ve focused on developing the relationships that actually had been established/hinted at, and those that would naturally branch as a result:

Erik & Peter as father and son

Raven & Kurt as mother and son

Charles’ parental relationship with his young students

Charles & Erik getting back together

Hank & Raven getting back together

Hank dealing with being Kurt’s possible stepfather

Charles & Raven reconciling as siblings once again

Charles & Peter as stepfather and stepson

Charles & Kurt as uncle and nephew

Alex seeing all of this and being reminded of his bad relationship with his own parents that led him to get locked up before Charles and Erik found him, emphasizing Charles’ place in his life as his true “father,” and foreshadowing Scott by revealing he’s not in touch with his family (meaning he doesn’t know he has a much-younger brother)

Erik bonding with Kurt and making Kurt comfortable through being the only other native German speaker in the group

Erik & Hank dealing with their rocky post-DOFP relationship; Hank giving Erik a proper calling out for sending Charles into such a depression for a decade and for trying to kill Raven

Erik bonding with Charles’ other students and slowly realizing there is a place for him at the school

(Logan may or may not work as a character in such a sequel. But whether he has a big or small role, it must be acknowledged that Raven, not Stryker, saved him from the Potomac at the end of DOFP. So now he is on a different path, and is NOT Weapon X. Either he’s still at the mansion or went his own way with the open possibility of returning; I think the latter makes more sense since he’s such a loner and considering he wouldn’t remember the events of DOFP, he’d be pretty overwhelmed. Plus his explained absence would allow space for the film(s) to focus more on the other characters.)

Regardless, any villain(s) of those hypothetical sequels should’ve been the kind of antagonist(s) whose threat inevitably brought those aforementioned characters together and, in the process, fleshed out those relationships.

Also, no stupid 10-year time jumps between every movie. Keep it to 5-7 years after DOFP, at the most.

Think of the emotional impact that would bring:

Charles & Raven dealing with the fact that she chose not to come to him for help when she became pregnant

Hank & Raven discussing Raven’s history with Azazel and both of them admitting they went to great lengths to try to get over each other but nothing worked

Raven exploring motherhood and her feelings about either having abandoned Kurt as a baby or accidentally losing him, and Hank supporting her in this

Erik exploring his newfound fatherhood, and Charles supporting him in this

Peter’s feelings toward his dad for being absent from his life for so long and also for being a terrorist

Kurt’s feelings toward his mom for being absent for so long, and possibly for intentionally leaving him

Peter & Kurt becoming besties and bonding over being super-fast travelers who have spent too many years not knowing one or both parents

Hank wishing things had been different with Raven and that Kurt could’ve been his son and thinking about stepping into a stepfather role for Kurt

Erik & Peter perhaps getting stranded/separated from the rest of the group and forced to bond while trying to find their way back

Erik saving Peter’s life in battle, cementing their new bond

Archangel Raphael

Is it Crowley? Is it Aziraphale?

What if I said he is the both of them?

I know a little out there thing to say but it’s a theory i’ve had hanging around in the back of my head for a while now because the thing is,

Crowley seems to have held the rank Raphael has but Aziraphale shows more of his actions.

These two theories have been around for a while and at no point am I trying to take away from what people have put together. This is just for fun and silly purposes. and I wasn’t kidding when I said I’ve had this theory for a while and just didn’t know how to put it in words so it might not be the best.

But let’s just start with who is Archangel Raphael

Raphael

The Angelic Prince of Healing

Well let’s start at the beginning, or well before the beginning.

According to the Midrash Konen, before he was Raphael he was the angel Libbiel.

In this God gathers all their angels before Adam is created and hears their opinions. While some angels praised God for their creation others spoke out against it. The Angel of Love and the Angel of Justice were both in favor while the Angel of Truth and the Angel of Peace both objected.

For this the Angel of Truth is cast out Heaven by God. God then summoned a band of angels under Michael, Gabriel, and Libbiel. Both of the bands under Michael and Gabriel scornfully called out against the creation of man and were too cast out. Libbiel seeing what happened to those bands warned his own to call out in favor of creation of man and thus was rewarded with the new name, Raphael, for his efforts.

Raphael, the rescuer, Angelic prince of Healing.

This is just one story of Raphael, if we take a step outside religion but still the very important book, Paradise Lost by John Milton, we can find Raphael there as well.

He is the angel that comes to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to warn them against temptation. Through him we hear about the rebellion and war in Heaven. He eats with Adam and Eve and doesn’t just directly quote God but rather shares his own views and opinions.

An interesting and very important take on Raphael but let’s just jump back into the religious stuff.

In the First Book of Enoch he is the angel over the spirits of men and set over all diseases and wounds. He was instructed to bind Azazel and heal the Earth that has been corrupted by the Watchers.

In the bible Raphael was one of the three angels that appeared to Abraham in the oak grove of Mamre. His task was the heal Abraham and save Lot. (Genesis)

Though not identified with name he is credited to be the angel who periodically stirred the pool of Bethesda (John)

His main story though comes from the Book of Tobit. He acts as a guide on Tobias’s journey to Sarah disguised as a human peasant. On this journey they gut a fish that they then end up later using to expel the demon, Asmodus, and heal his father, Tobit. This is the story where most of his depictions come from including the one above.

In Jewish text, under the name Israfil, he is depicted as the angel who stands eternally with a trumpet on his lips waiting and ready to announce the day of judgement.

Wooh that was a quick run down. (pls correct me if any of this was wrong) But moving on for now.

Title Sequence

Disclaimer: Not main supporting evidence. Secondary at best. Really just something interesting that didn’t fit anywhere else.

Now before we get into how this all connects in the show I wanted to make stop to point out something from the s1 TS that I have never been able to explain away.

Both of them getting sucked up into the spaceship and then it burst into fish.

Fish huh? Interesting…

Gabriel’s Trial

This is the part that gives us some of the biggest pieces of evidence for a Very Highranking AngelCrowley.

Before we even get to the trial we have Crowley able to get into the file that only a throne, dominion, or above could access.

Then we have Gabriel saying he is “the only first order archangel in the room, or yknow the universe” with the immediate cut to Crowley. Visually this is a very obvious signal that this is something to pay attention to, foreshadowing that something is not right with this statement.

The clip above also gives us that this being would have been considered a Prince of Heaven.

Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, and the last three kinda vary. But we are just going to focus on these four anyway since that seems to be the number the show likes.

The only one missing from those four is Raphael and it seems that the Metatron still holds quite the grudge and memory of this being….*cut to Metatron glaring at Crowley*

But there is also something else we learn in this Trial.

That the name Gabriel is tied to his angelic status, a name he was about to lose along with his memories. A name he does end up losing while he doesn’t have his memories, getting replaced with Jim.

But one thing I did want to mention in this section before leaving, even if it didn’t happen during Crowley’s trip to Heaven, was when Michael says “there is always a Supreme Archangel.”

All of this has some very interesting implications of what happened in the past, and let’s not forget that Aziraphale was battling demons while all this was happening.

Now though that this has all been laid out let’s get into the meat of this.

Aziraphale and Crowley

yknow for this being about them I haven’t talked about them a lot lol. But let’s start at the beginning of them, the time one became two.

Originally they were written as one character, a fallen angel, until it was eventually changed into the two characters we know and love, Aziraphale and Crowley.

Now I’m not claiming to know what was going on in their heads during the creation process, just that the absence of a single prominent archangel when they were originally a single character is…interesting.

but that’s what got me thinking.

In Before the Beginning there doesn’t really seem to be a rank system more along the lines of groups that have certain jobs in the creation process of the universe. Not saying there wasn’t a ranking system but I doubt it was as large and complex as it is in present day.

However there is no denying the parallels that Gabriel and Crowley play to each other, particularly with their Angelic Ranking.

So what I’m proposing is that yes, Crowley was a very high ranking angel, perhaps on the same level as Gabriel - an angel named Raphael.

But he Fell, his name taken away from him in the process and he became Crawley.

With this though it left a space open, a Raphael shaped space up in Heaven and History. The Job of who Raphael was supposed to be.

A job that another certain angel seems to take up through his actions, Aziraphale.

Aziraphale’s name quite literally means “helper of Raphael” which technically he did do when he helped start up the star factory.

but even in that moment it was the two of them doing a job that was supposed to be only meant for one.

It’s a theme they continue throughout their years together, they cancel each other out, they take to doing each others jobs that never tip off the other side. They are the most powerful when they are working together, helping to stop Armageddon and the 25 Lazarii miracle they perform together. Two sides of the same, single coin.

The spot for Raphael was only meant to be held by one, the place Crowley held before the Fall. The place Aziraphale took up in the aftermath. There is always a Raphael.

However one does not just lose the power of being a first order archangel hence why Crowley is still so powerful.

The only one to realize this - The Metatron and well probably God too. Hence the need for at least Aziraphale back up in Heaven, as well as just keeping an eye on him.

and this really all just makes me want to point out that after Armageddon was diverted and they were out there on the bench and Crowley asks if God,

“Planned it all like this, very beginning.”

and I can’t help but say, yes. Two angels designed for the same role, one fallen and one not. Together they are complete and bound through history. Together they are the most powerful.

In my humble opinion if all of Baal was a normal family I feel like they would be chaotic but very tight knit and I also just want an au where they’re happy for the love of god please stupid or dumb idea but don’t hang me please I beg. Satan,Yuri and Shiro are in a poly relationship and the kids just don’t give a fuck about it or just don’t care to much (usamaru is an honorary brother I don’t care if he erased peoples memories of him) (same goes for shura she’s in this family too)

Lucifer the oldest brother: very awkward about hanging around his siblings but is easily dragged along into crap because he doesn’t particularly like to socialize (common victim of Mephisto need for drama) pictures of the family in his room. Very clean and organized room little splashes of his siblings touches here and there. (Part of the easily sick gang) (his room is where all of his younger siblings like to hide in when they’re upset,easy to talk to won’t snitch)

Mephisto the second oldest: too loud very theatrical likes dressing up drags his younger siblings into crap usually the one to drag Lucifer into shit (finds the instigating with Lucifer very fun and part of his daily ritual) lots of stuff in his room his room is also kinda used as the sibling meeting/hang out spot (part of the easily sick gang. Lowkey dies during spring due to allergies) lots of different things in his siblings room that they all enjoy so easy hang out spot. Manga,music,dvds,anime,games,foods etc (has a collection of his siblings old toys out on display on his manga shelf)

Azazel third oldest: they chill,usually the one to stop the fighting/prevents the instigating between Lucifer and Mephisto from getting too serious they like staying in their room feel like they’d like listening to music reads alot weird obsession with rocks (has been gifted a rock from everyone in the family had them on display proudly on their shelf) (I don’t know much about them I’m just guessing here) organized but not exactly clean.

Iblis the middle daughter: they don’t fuck with her too much her ire is scarier than all three parents combined,too much clothes likes playing dress up with all her siblings it’s her bonding time with them,first person one should come too when it comes to beauty/outfits or gossiping,she’s heavily influenced by bribery feel like she’d have a collection of plushies, lots of pictures of the family (when wanting favors use Egyn,Beel or Usamaru) pretty and aesthetic type room.

Astaroth the second middle child: is the scapegoat,sometimes used as the sacrificial lamb to see if Iblis is super pissed. He loves his siblings alot,knows a lot about mushrooms/fungi lots of books about them had a small collection of mushrooms kinda stupid (acts first thinks later like Rin.) He gets into alot of fights,anger issues,likes rough housing. Lots of pictures of the family in his room. Messy room.

Amaimon the third middle child: gets into fights with Astaroth and Rin alot it’s more like roughhousing tho he’s careful sometimes. Weird obsession with plants,someone stop him from raiding the fridge and eating all the sweets,is the taste tester of the house,he’s usually out and about getting into fights for the hell of it. He usually is the person that’s used to start crap around his house since it’s easy to bribe him. If he’s in at home is either outside,in his room playing games or playing games in the living room. Gets into fights with Astaroth if he loses a game against him.

Shura the fourth middle child: adopted into the family like usuamaru very free willed and has a pet snake (Hachiroto Okami or Hachi for short) She usually hangs in her room or in the living room reading manga has been known to bring in snakes from outside to show everyone someone stop her. Goes out alot be it just to walk around which Amaimon joins in on or to go out shopping in which either Mephisto or Iblis join in on sometimes both which causes some bickering but it’s usually fine in the end. Likes to rough housing with Astaroth and Amaimon she surprisingly sometimes wins. She had long hair before just chopping it all off much to Iblis’s disappointment but they both still do their hair care rituals. It was a bumpy and rough start when she came to the house but before long she was just as a sister as Iblis (likes helping mephisto instigate drama with Lucifer drinks alot) her room is messy and has a mini fridge for her snakes food. Keeps Hachis enclosure spot less and very well maintained spends most of her allowance on more things for him. Lots of snake themed things in her closet same goes for pjs and blankets.

Rin oldest of the twins the first youngest: easily dragged into things by his older and younger siblings he may huff and puff about it but will go along with it most of the time. Is the family cook makes everyone lunch and dinner sometimes breakfast is he gets woken up easily enough pretty good at baking too surprisingly. Also raids the fridge in the middle of the night with Amaimon,very spacey sometimes turns into a game of “how many things can you put on him before he notices?” (Lucifer has the record for 6 manga books on his head + a mug of tea and 10 tangerines stacked on each shoulder). Pretty easy going guy likes napping in either Iblis’s or Lucifer’s room sometimes found knocked out on the couch. (Almost punched Yukio in the face during an argument on which animal was better Owls or penguins)

Yukio youngest of the twins second youngest: he also gets dragged into shit by his siblings sometimes fights it sometimes plays along and makes bigger chaos,likes to watch the world burn,crashes out during games mostly calm tho,he schedules out family activities and hang out times and times for when everyone’s schedules are clear so they can all hang out (part of the easily sick gang swears he saw god coming to take him after he got the flu) (anxiety sometimes turns into fist fighting with his brother,great way to relieve equal stress between each other) big shelf full of medical books,manga,mangazines,kids books and novels. (Once got into an almost fist fight with Rin over which animal was better Penguins or owls) (somewhat easy to make him cry)

Egyn the third youngest (jokingly called Beelz older twin) : he gets dragged around alot by his younger brothers and older brothers,pretty shy likes staying in his room to take care of his pet fishies,lots of books about fishies. Yukio commonly takes him out to different sea food restaurants and Iblis takes him out shopping/does his hair. He’s usually found in either his,Yukio or Iblis’s room reading books also finds jellyfish cool. Lots of fish facts in this child easy to cry like Yukio. Doesn’t like tying his hair keeps it loose most of the time easy to hide when anxious,drinks lots of water easily dehydrated especially since he crys so easily dehydration happens alot,bad headaches after crying. Water bottle looks like a sharp. Shares a room with Beel and Usamaro sleeps on a loft bed so most of his space if filled with books about fishes plus a small tv the only shows fish documentaries and fishing shows (river monsters). (Once punched Beel in the face for threatening to cook said fishes almost broke one of his teeth doesn’t regret punching him) (similar to Beel in his own way)

Beelzebub the fourth youngest (jokingly referred to as Egyn younger twin): shares room with Egyn and Usamaro,His bed is right across from Egyn loft and is surrounded by book shelves lots of books about bugs and mangazines about cooking small tv the only shows those good morning cooking shows and bug documentaries and stuff . Drags Egyn and Usamaro into stuff usually just small things like taking them to a farmers market (Iblis or Rin takes them) has a pet spider/tarantula/bee thing name Baelatula it’s well behaved so they don’t question it. Lots of bug plushies and themed blankets on his bed. Likes keeping his hair loose but sometimes tied it up if it’s super hot helps Egyn brush his hair. Very confident the loudest of the youngest kids. ( still pissed about that time Egyn punched him mad that he couldn’t eat actual food for a week after the incident) (both him and Egyn are similar despite how opposite they are)

Usamaro the youngest aka baby (adopted): very aloof and naive follows along with whatever Beel or Any of his siblings he’s just happy to be here Beel also helps him take care of his hair while Iblis or Rin do the little bunny ear hair do he has very happy asks alot of questions really loves eggs,chickens and bunny’s has his own small tv that only shows cartoons his bed is right under Egyns loft his shelf is full of kids books about rabbits,chickens and eggs and of course a very old and special book Rin gave him almost bit Lucifer after he tried moving it. His blankets have eggs and chickens and bunnies lots of bunny,chickens and egg plushies on his bed all/most of which were gifted to him by everyone in the family as to show he was accepted into the family. He sleeps alot second to Rin and is found all over the house sometimes in his room sometimes Rins rarely in Lucifer’s or the parents room. Weird obsession with omelettes and eggs and general has almost ate an egg raw and liked it crunchy bits and everything

(Fallen) Angels Round Table Discussion: Fashion

Featuring: A mixed bag of canon and OC angels and some of their fallen brethren.

"So, honest question - who comes up with these outfit designs?"

GABRIEL: Most angels meet with someone from the tailoring guild and they can request what sorts of clothing they'd like.

SERAPHIEL: Clothing is also a popular gift for angels that pass their ascension trials.

"Does hierarchy or rank have anything to do with the types of clothes angels are allowed to wear?"

SIMEON: Not really. It mostly boils down to preference. Certain styles are more practical than others too. For example, most of the warriors choose not to wear robes on a daily basis. I only wear mine for very special occasions.

METATRON: Michael and Lucifer couldn't be more different style-wise and they were both Seraphs.

MICHAEL: I designed a new outfit for Lucifer that was a little bit more...relaxed...but he wouldn't wear it. Asmodeus even helped with it.

LUCIFER: That’s exactly why I refused. You show enough skin for both of us.

"Now that you mention it, is there a practical reason for designing tight clothes with, um, decorative cut-outs?"

RAPHAEL: It helps us stay cool and prevent heat sickness during our hottest season.

URIEL: The younglings were in the garden and got a firsthand demonstration about combat safety so at least something good came from it.

MICHAEL: You set your cloak on fire by accident one time and your friends never let you forget it.

RAPHAEL: That was an accident? I thought you did it on purpose to get out of training that day.

SIMEON: The point is, a lot of those considerations aren't as important as they used to be. Now we simply wear what we like.

AZRA: Are we going to gloss over the other very important reason? That some of us just wanted to look good?

A/N: Here's something silly that helped distract me from real life stuff that's kept me busy lately. This vaguely incorporates some Celestial Realm headcanons/worldbuilding, and to be honest, I just wanted to throw these characters into a room and see what happened. (Chaos. Chaos happened.)

a list of my rin okumura headcanons 💙

(in no particular order) (also there are spoilers)

ok smart fellas and fart smellas i have so many headcanons that i have finally decided to share today. this isnt gonna be like romantic stuff cause thats an oversaturated market. most of these headcanons are gonna about rin's life and stuff that i feel hasnt really been expanded upon :3

on that note, i love this man so much so here we go

-rin isn't used to his body after he first awakens. for the first few weeks, his tail causes him to have trouble balancing. at first, he finds that tucking it around his torso helps him find balance, but it becomes really uncomfortable after a while. basically the same feeling as one's back being hunched over for a long time, since his tail is connected to his spine. as he grows more comfortable with himself, he finds his center of balance and feels a lot better to have his tail free.

-as well as struggling with his new tail, rin constantly (and accidentally) bites his lips with his much sharper teeth. ouch

-rin's body temperature is slightly above average. he doesnt have to wear thick clothing during winter because he's already warm enough. when touched, his skin has a similar warmth to a hot cup of tea <3 or a pumpkin spice latte

-when he has leftovers he doesnt microwave them, instead he breathes a little bit of fire, just enough to heat the food up

-each time his hair turns white, his black hair ever so slightly gains white strands. when he notices it for the first time, he's insecure of it and plucks any white strands he sees. eventually it becomes too much so he starts dying his hair black.

- (this one is basically canon but whatever) rin's second awakening causes him to have 2 split personalities. like its not even demon related, he just straight up has a personality disorder now. after kurikara first breaks and he almost hurts his friends, and his big fight with yukio, he is constantly worried that his other self will come out at any time.

-hes embarrassed by his horns and doesnt like that theyre so small (go big or go home right?)

-if he practices, he can control any demonic element, like how satan fought everyone during the main fight.

-he has a strong relationship with the spirit element, due to being related to an azazel clone. he also has an affinity for time and space, as shown when he rips open the space where mephisto hid his heart

-he really loves making indian food and curries

-big fan of shonen jump, reads bleach, one piece, and tegami bachi

-pretends he doesnt, but he likes romance manga. favorites include: kamisama kiss inuyasha, blue flag, and many others

-thought his confession to shiemi would be like a romance manga

-he doesnt like wearing shoes

-since fully awakening, his body doesn't age. he will outlive his friends as well as yukio.

-he likes fishing

prompt: @jade-178: “Can I have a request for a one-shot of The whole Bat-family finding out what their adopted sibling reader does for a living. Basically they thing reader is an innocent bean but when she's not with the bat family she basically goes exploring the whole world for tombs for artifacts, is a risk taker, an adrenaline junkie, sassy, has a high sex appeal, flirts a lot and Carries dual pistols. Basically the reason why is that the reader loves to be an archeologist and protects the artifacts they find.”

Barbara is super interested in your work and asks if she can help with research and see some of the artifacts you’ve discovered during excavations. She enjoys the idea of you getting out of Gotham and making a name for yourself.

Bruce is proud to say the least. He still trained you, so he knows you’ll be able to hold your own out there. He supposes you’ll be a good ally to have being more “worldly.” You asked him if he’d ask Diana to take you to Themyscira. He said he’d think about it.

Damian asked if you’d take him with you on your next trip. He was tired of this “stinky old city” and wanted to see some different culture. You liked the idea actually. He offered you one of his Grandfather’s swords (the grandfather that’s centuries old not the dead one). You took a page out of Bruce’s book, “I’ll think about it.”

Dick high-fived you and said it’s good to get space from Gotham and he thought your work was unique. You had a really good in with a lot of superhero-types who come from many different backgrounds who could also give you pointers, advice, information, whatever. He was just a little worried that sometimes you’d be on the other side of the world alone.

Jason asked if you had a gun. Then he asked if you wanted one. Then he gave you one anyway. You saw it as a love language for him. His only advice was not to bring any expensive artifacts back to Gotham because Bruce had been letting Catwoman in the house again.

Tim was also interested! He compared archaeology to detective work as far as tracking down lost historical artifacts and researching lesser known things. He’d like to sit down with you and talk over your findings, plus he had a few things he was super interested in that he wanted to “point you in the direction of.” Also warned you to make sure Catwoman didn’t steal your stuff. Especially if you found any nice jewels.

being in the hermitcraft/life series fandom while also being hyperfixated on cherik is a problem, because i cant stop imagining the xmen and the brotherhood as minecraft youtubers that are normally very chill and respectful but go batshit when put on a pvp server with barely any rules 😭

like, hear me out, xmen first class as 3rd life

charles gathers as many of his youtuber friends and acquaintances as possible for a hardcore minecraft server where everyone has three lives, expecting it to be all peaceful and stuff until people are on their red life, and at first it is, when people are just getting started. erik and charles team up, of course, and so do a few others like shaw and emma or raven and hank, most people just sticking to themselves

but then shaw is an ass and breaks the "rules" by killing erik on purpose while not on his red life. this ends with erik swearing that he'll be the one to get shaw out of the series (charles is not impressed when he finds out)

things get relatively more peaceful again after that, people dying on accident here and there, but of course, that doesnt last long as shaw is the first to get to his last life. hes allowed to kill people now and its made worse by the fact that his alliance has grown stronger, azazel and janos have joined him and emma in their castle on the beach. shaw is even proudly showing off his new netherite helmet, despite the fact that helmets arent allowed on the server

moira decides to do something about that and goes to charles and erik to ask for help of aligning as many other people as possible against the four of them before they get more allies. they go off on their own to recruit the others while moira builds a secret base for their meetings. unsurprisingly, everyone agrees to join them, but they didnt know that shaw had already recruited angel before asking her. a couple more people get on their red life outside of shaw. the team has a couple of successful secret meetings, but angel rats them out and tells shaw where they are

while charles erik and moira are out scoping out shaws base, they find only emma is there and end up in a stand off. shaw and the others storm the secret base and find darwin, alex and angel there. it ends with angel being revealed as a traitor and alex and darwin killed. alex is on his last life, but darwin was already on red, so hes first out of the server. he gets made fun of by alex for that ("seriously darwin? you can adapt to survive anything but that doesnt translate to minecraft skills??"). emma is also killed shortly after and is second out

before this, everyone that was against shaw was just in a tentative alliance, nothing like what shaws team was like. they would have meetings and help each other with some things, but they were still off on their own. but now they were a team, sticking together in their new base and and helping each other grow stronger

on the final day of the server, most of the people were on red, charles being one of the few still on yellow. the plan was to swarm shaws team while they were still inside their base, but since last time they were there, it had been trapped and all hell broke loose once they stepped inside. practically everything blew up, and azazel, janos, and angel jumped them shortly afterward while they were still confused. shaw was no where to be found

erik went to look for him while everyone else fought and he found him in a secret room underground that had been untouched by the explosion. they fight and erik wins, donning the helmet that shaw was so proud of. during their fight, several other people lose their last life in the chaos, until eventually the only ones left are charles and moira, charles somehow miraculously still having two lives while moira is on her last

just as they are discussing how to end the game fairly, by having moira killing charles and then the three of them having a friendly battle to see who wins, erik comes back and sees that charles is still on his second life. he decides that charles deserves the win, or maybe they could have a joint win, and starts shooting moira from a distance, catching them off guard. moira starts to shoot back at erik, and while charles is trying to get them both to stop he gets shot in the chaos. already low on health from the battle before, and without any food to heal, he was one shot, and looses his second life and it was unfortunately eriks arrow that did it. moira, caught off guard at charles' sudden death, doesnt see erik coming closer and gets killed shortly after, leaving just erik and charles left

charles returns from his respawn and goes back to the beach with nothing on him and finds erik waiting there for him. erik asks if this means that they won. charles disagrees, saying that there has to be one winner, and all the "ghosts" left on the server agree in chat. erik begs him to reconsider, that it was charles' server, he could do whatever he wanted, they can change the rules and win together. they want the same thing. it was always their alliance above everyone else. charles disagrees.

theres nothing much that can be done. charles has nothing and moira took all of his things with her when she lost her last life. despite eriks insistence that they can have a fair fight, charles is already low health again and erik doesnt have enough food to get them both up to full health. charles takes the loss with dignity, and erik wins the first season

and of course, the collective fandom in their universe that has grown throughout this series freaks the fuck out over this finale 😭

like, charles and erik obviously become what desert duo is in our world (beach duo?), where people make a shit ton of art and fics about these two and also shipping them and people are still obsessed with their team-up even years after the first season has ended (their interactions in later seasons dont help)

and of course, the animatics. they are so dramatic and accidentally fool people into thinking theyre for something equally as dramatic, but when you actually watch it to see just how heart wrenching this series must be, this is what you see when you get to the big scene that everyone is obsessed over 😭

i kinda got carried away while figuring out how to make xmfc fit into minecraft, cause despite all the detail i went into here, this au is mostly focused on these characters being minecraft youtubers rather than what they do in the game 😭

like i do have some plans for how dofp could work in the life series (and possibly making it be double life??), and the vaguest ideas for x1, but otherwise its just mostly silliness and dumb antics (like charles and erik being engaged but the fandom doesnt know or peter also being a youtuber and finding out that erik is his dad after already becoming friends with him online)

i really hope other people like this au because its been consuming my every thought lately 😭😭

hi! my best friend was finally able to read oopsie!omens thanks to t-nartin's russian translation and she liked it so much that she immediately sketched a couple of things with jophiel and azazel. and i would like to show them to you (with her permission of course!) because they're just absolutely lovely and i think she deserves to have her artwork shared. she also said to let you all know that she based the first one on THAT david and michael image in case you wouldn't get it x)
