I like to imagine that, in a world where Billy has revealed his identity to the league, he gets invited to hero events or things similar BUT there are days he doesn't turn up as Cap. Instead, it's just him with a mask on, possibly an outfit without any brand names on it, and also perhaps a small cape. People think there's a new young hero-in-training, but no. It's just Billy, Captain Marvel, someone who's been in the scene for years. He just wanted the ability to sit on Diana's shoulders for the day. Maybe next month he'll do the same thing but on Superman's shoulders, instead.

My true magnum opus.#I was originally going to do this gag as a 'alternate version of comic 155'#Then I realized that they have the 'Come back to Gusu with me' conversation twice. So here we are!#I did consider having WWX say 'I'm not going back to gusu with you' in the comic for the better plot accuracy.#I'm invoking the rule of silly by having Wei Wuxian read between the lines of 'Come back to Gusu with me'.#Because it does feel like a confession! It is a confession of 'I care about your safety and I worry for what may happen.'#It is also poorly articulated. You can't really blame WWX for reading into it as 'LWJ is just another person trying to control me.'#The relationship between them is not good! It is two parties who genuinely want to be closer with each other but cannot communicate it.#You can't really have what makes these two work so well as a dynamic without the past history of:#“Back then I really wanted to be your friend.” They are a *missed connection*!#WWX reaches out and LWJ rejects him. And now when LWJ reaches out it is WWX who pushes them apart.#It is a tragedy about the consequences of being out of tandem and realizing what you want far too late.#The momentum of WWX's downfall is far to fast to reverse now. This is just an idea about IF parseltongue had a written form and older Ominis being tatted up all over his body. I looked at a lot of designs and i feel like the sigil types would look the best cause of the squiggly lines, kind of reminds me of snakes.

....I feel like he'd LOVINGLY give MC a soft slap if they got the pronunciation wrong. It'd be gentle. Just a tap.

so far this is hands-down the funniest Lilia card, because he'll say something all edgy and badass in that deeper ~General Vanrouge~ tone and then follow it up immediately with one of the non-card-specific cutesy Lilia lines, and it gets me every time
