Every time lenore says "you're lying and you have a tell" Annabel is turned around and not looking at her.

It might be a little simplistic BUT it would also make this scene very silly bc Annabel is turning her back on lenore >:3

Oh my god, you’re definitely onto something.

Since episode 106 has released, I have been so focused on Annabel’s hands during those scenes. The way she was gripping her dress, the way she had her hand in a fist, they seemed like the main contenders for what Annabel’s tell was, especially when thinking about the way we’ve seen Annabel hold onto her rings depending on what she’s feeling. Because of that though, I didn’t consider that her tell could be something more simplistic like Annabel not looking Lenore. I decided to have a quick look back at some different scenes with this idea in mind and it works well:

Shifting her eyes away, having her back to people, it definitely feeds the idea that her tell could be how she shifts her view away from people.

This also made me think about the times we’ve seen Annabel slip her mask on

Recently, I've been working on a shawl inspired by Annabelle Cane. Yesterday, I finally finished and blocked it.

This shawl would not be here without @saintbleeding, whose writing and encouragement made me go crazier about Ms. Cane than ever before.

au where the computer ghost gang is in a horror dating sim/visual novel style game. you have three options to romance (chester, norris, and old man augustus, who look suspiciously like jon martin and jonah) and they're all very strange. the game regularly glitches (the characters ending up in locations (like a tower or infinite foggy beach, among others), them saying bizarre things they should not Know or looking visually Wrong, asking you to Let Them Out (especially augustus he does that a lot), ect). there appears to be a fourth unromanceable character who is, ah, pulling the strings for the program, one could say (it's annabelle she's chilling). much like reading a statement once you begin playing, you cannot close the game until you hit an ending, and there is a slim but ever present chance the game will eat you too. this happens to colin when he tries to delete it off the oiar systems and accidentally opens it instead. oops.

Spamton: (he was sitting at his desk so when he saw you walking too him, he thought you were coming to tell him something) Spamton was quite surprised by the hug but after a second he dose hug you back

Jigsaw: (he was to busy writing things down so he didn’t release you were behind him) Jigsaw didn’t even realize you were hugging him till he stopped writing and then he gave you a hug back

Slappy: (he was standing on a balcony outside of a big party drinking a beer so when you walked out he just thought you were just coming to join him) slappy didn’t realize how much he needed a hug so he just stood there until you stoped hugging him

Lilcal: (you two were hanging out in cals room as per usual, you got bored so you hugged him) he was really high so he just automatically hugged you back

Annabelle & Chucky: (you three where laying in bed because in there words you had the best tv, and you had fallen asleep) in your sleep you had unconsciously hugged them like stuffed animals Annabelle didn’t mind but Chucky wasn’t having it so moved out of your hug

Duck: (he was walking out of his research room and he looked really tired so you decided to hug him) he was pleasantly surprised after the hug you two talked while you walked to the kitchen for a snack 

Red guy: (it was the end of the day and he was exhausted) you thought Red didn’t looks so good so you thought you’d give him a hug after you walked up to red you asked him if you could give him a hug red looked at you for a moment then he pulled you into a crushing hug (no Y/Ns were harmed in the making of this story)

Yellow Guy: (he actually hug you first) you were in your office when Yellow Guy came in to your office then he walked behind your desk and gave you a hug

Sparkling Annabelle(and maybe Jasper trio) needs a friend and consider Professor Sumdac part of NEST sliding in with Sari.  everyone thinks poor girl got cyberized and he's like not opening that can of worms "Yup definitely " and doesn't elaborate Bots n cons are even more nuts losing their minds over another baby meanwhile Megatron is like"...wait a Minute-" definitely wont hesitate to bash anyone helm in that try to snatch her because thats His kid

It's even funnier since Megatron and Optimus are split-spark brothers, so Optimus immediately clocks Sari as close kin.

Professor Sumdac would definitely have ties to Sector Seven to connect them. Perhaps a kind of consultant or even worked for them through several fronts since the guy is very anti-military, even if his sense of ethics is wonky as hell. His mind is brilliant, but he's also very dumb of ass.

The Sumdacs would most likely get 'relocated' after N.E.S.T. goes over Sector Seven's files with a fine tooth comb with the Autobots breathing down their necks. And, oh boy, everyone is feeling something over the kid... and nobody wants to consider what the hell will happen if Megatron gets an inkling of an idea of Sari's existence. (Mech basically silenced all of his sparkbonds and came out of an induced coma after decades of forced experimentation. He's not at his top shape at that point.)

Then again, it would be exponentially funny should it be Sarah that catches the Sumdacs during her usual Energon search. She basically went from 'follow the food' to 'GET THAT CHILD.' Then for Optimus to get his 'ohmyfuckinganicents' moment with the sudden spark recognition and Sarah is playing Keep Away.

"With Sarah." The mech replied, gruffly.

Epps stared into the distance where the Seekers preferred to nestle like a pair of perky tits on the beach, hoping to catch a new rambunctious metal kid around the aptly dubbed 'lovebirds.'

"Any chance you can tell me why Big Buddha is acting like an abandoned cab near the lovebirds?"

"It's classified."

"Then how's the kid? Ratchet was spitting mad earlier."

"Sarah, unfortunately, spooked the sparkling into an early activation of weapons systems too advanced for her development. Not only did it drain her meager supplies, but her systems weren't in good shape to begin with. Delayed and stunted. On top of it, Sarah used her ability to drop the sparkling into a forced stasis. Ratchet only had time to input suppression codes before we had to leave."

There was a lull of silence, and the noise of the base washed over them as they stared at the beach.

"Ratchet will need to do another check-in." Epps stated. It wasn't a question. It was true as the sun rising and water being wet. Ratchet would need a proper diagnostic routine for anyone under his care. Even if the medic had to drag them kicking and screaming to his part of the base.

"Correct."

"Sarah is in Mama Bird mode, isn't she?"

"Unfortunately, very correct."

"Any chance Professor Sumdac could talk her out of brooding bitch mode?"

"The man bestowed his blessing. Sari needs appropriate healthcare for her hybrid status and a maternal figure."

The probability of the resident pair of Seekers getting drugged and wrestled down to ensure developmental care and a nutrition check for the newly acquired Cybertronian was definitely non-zero, and Epps wasn't jealous that he wasn't part of that upcoming fistfight with highly protective, dinosaur-adjacent, flying death machines.

"Good luck, mech."
