Ik this is whiplash from my last post BUT here's a clump of cat designs I've made for a warriors dnd campaign with two of my friends!!! The only one without a name is birchclaw lmao.

Owlspring, Applecloud, and Ashpelt are all medicine cats with disabilities! Applecloud has arthritis (caused by the folded ears gene), Owlspring has (minor) spinal deformities caused by her manx tail, and Ashpelt an amputee! (Not sure how realistic it is, but i made him loose it via a fox trap, similar to berrynose.)

Hey Smokestar why is the clan so low on warriors? Did something bad happen?

“A rogue warrior from Whisperclan, Olivebloom (@juniperstar), managed to sneak into our camp and kill Archwing and Applecloud (@speedythekitty).

“There was also a flood after a particularly snowy winter followed by a hot spring. All the runoff from Iceclan and Whisperclan’s territories submerged almost all our land, since we live on a floodplain. Honeypaw (@the-moth-from-elsewhere), Heatherfrond, and Eddie drowned, while Verminbright (@frozenclan) was poisoned by the sick fish afterwards.”

“And all through the past 24 moons, we haven’t had many kits survive past a moon old. Foxtail is the only one left of his litter, and Frostleaf has lost multiple litters to sickness and prey shortages. After Foxtail, Rainypaws is the next youngest Named cat, at least 60 or so moons between him and me.”

(So, uh. Sorry about killing all your donated OCs? And happy pride month to poor Verminbright and Eddie 😭. And a special apology to Juniperstar for making their Olive into a murderer; I’d made the sketch for that panel before asking for oc sacrifices, and bloom was the only one with sufficient fluff to fit it. And Honeystar has been turned into an apprentice due to me drawing them too small :’) But! Thanks for trusting me with them, they were all lovely to draw! ^^ )

if i DID adjust crowpaw story to make a @troutfur pfurr au i'd have to change my litter sizes. the most common number of kits my clan cats have is 2 but 1 is more common than 3 and that doesn't really suit the way pfurr au works.

also, the "upper generations" who DID have littermates historically have lost most of their siblings by now. that's explicitly a plot point, ShadowClan and WindClan had a whole ass war, but it DOES mess with the ability of a pfurr au to be... fun?

I guess I could keep "Hawkpool and Embersnap are both ul-arrramew" and just have them not fit the stereotypes. Siltjay marrying into Brindlebear/Agatesplash would work perfectly for him (join the nest thinking you'll get to be with Agatesplash but whoops she's an aromantic lesbian) and Olivenose's kits wouldn't be suspected half-clan anymore even though her littermate Dovecall's mate Applecloud doesn't have the parts to have produced them. That would mess with Applecloud's younger brother Rowanpelt's character arc though... he wouldn't feel the need to have kits of his own if his sister's nest had already produced some.

ShadowClan & WindClan have that problem more than River or Thunder do, though. RiverClan has had some fairly large litters, more of them have a littermate. That makes the WindClan 8 (originally half-siblings but genetically full siblings; 8 kits between 2 identical twin mollies who were honor sired by the same tom) and their implied status as all being full siblings into ACTUALLY more or less full siblings. They might even get away with all being considered the same nest if they wanted to be, since all 8 of them were born at the same time and DO share a nest.

What would be his name tho, Leaf of Blood ? Leaf of Thorns maybe because he appears hard to approach but is pretty and gentle (like a rose)

Roier would be BraveHeart or something (because he is lead by his heart first and foremost)

Jaiden BlueStar ?

Now I want to give all the qsmp member their Warriors Cat name/affiliation !

Etoiles (EagleClaw for the justice thing ?) would be clan deputy for clan leader Philza (evident CrowStar)

Because of the crows imagery I can only see them in the shadowsclan

Baghera (no idea for a name Feather of Sun maybe) sure as hell belongs to the river clan.

Pomme is obviously AppleCloud

Antoine is a mystery to me

Fit (Fur of Rocks because he is strong and you can rely on him) and Pac (Eyes of Hawk because he seems very observent) I could see them as not in the same clan (like river and wind) so they sneak out to see each others.

Bad I want to put him in shadowclan but he has a forest clan vibe too.

Sorry I got carried away but that seems like an interesting exercise. If you want to go on answer in a reblog I'm curious!

sometimes the old warrior cats fixation from when i was 12 comes back with a vengeance and i think about how qcellbit is medicine cat material, and he just so happens to be in love with his clan's deputy, qroier. hes also haunted by starclan ghosts so he's always arguing with them, but to everyone else it just looks like hes angrily talking to himself. Also the clan leader qjaiden doesnt care that her deputy and medicine cat are dating.

Here's a drawing of Mapleshade, before the incident.

+ her name i might be using for the slovak fan-translation i'm doing - Višňotieň!

(or Višňošero/Višňosrsť/Višňotma, meaning (sour) Cherryshadow/shade/pelt/dark. I am very indecisive.)

I decided to change her name because, the normal translation pf her name would be "Javorové šero", which is kinda long and i kept messing up her name with Appledusk's (Jablčný súmrak, or Jablkomrak (Applecloud)) and vice versa.

Plus it gives me the excuse to use Višňa- in a warrior name. Sourcherry- is not a prefix that you would use in english, but "Višňa-"? Sure is shorter than "Čerešňa-"! (a regular cherry).

Her name is still not set in stone though, i might think of other names for her that might also work.

(I have also been considering making a blog for the translation? We'll see about that. I do have the first chapter (mostly) fully translated though!)
