Why am I having NOT having something then? And if you think it’s for attention, why am I happy
NOT getting attention? Stop your ignorance, you make no sense.
“This person is not like me! They don’t like what I like, or what makes sense to me! They must be bullshitting!” You sound like ur doing straight people logic. Or lack thereof. Be BETTER.
Also, I did not create the flag images. I only did the bit in black. Please Google search to find more, and explore your identity further. I may try to edit this to include more in the future.
And for even MORE information -
Here’s more for the whiners who can’t take the initiative to carry on the inspiration of this n make their own great post (also googled) -

I remember from before i realised i was asexual and me and some lads were talking about relationships and people cheating and the horrors and i piped up:
"if i had a partner i really wouldnt care at all if they slept with someone else, i dont want to have sex but they might so its easier for them to just fuck someone"
EVERYONES faces dropped in horror,,, thats when i started feeling like there was something wrong with me.
Looking back at it i realise, most asexuals dont see sex as a form of dovotion or an act of love, so to me I interpreted it as the equivalent of "oh they can go tenpin bowling with their mates, i dont care i dont like bowling so it wouldnt be very fun with me but i hope they have fun"
I keep forgetting and seriously sex is taken and given in a allo relationship.

i think the most ignorant question you can ask someone who doesn’t desire a romantic relationship is
“But isn’t that lonely?”
As if the absence of intimacy can leave one feeling empty.
As if happiness can only be derived from a romantic partnership.
I wish they could feel the absolute happiness i posses when i walk into a room and find my dog laying on the couch, wagging his tail upon my mere presence.
The comfort i feel from snuggling that tiny dog who fits perfectly against my chest like a parent and their newborn.
The sweet affection my dog gives me. The unconditional love. The fact that i can change as a person, cut my hair, do my makeup, and he is still able to recognize me.
Or perhaps the laughter that fills the kitchen whenever my siblings gather there.
The comfort my father brings me by knowing me so well that at times i wonder how he even managed to figure out the things i never say.
True love is not simply found in a romantic partner.
True love surrounds you.
It is the trees that breathe in carbon so you may breathe oxygen.
The flowers that bloom and seeds that fall to continue the cycle of their life.
Love is the wind blowing your hair into your face in an absurd caress that feels invasive.
Love is the sun and moon that constantly rise and fall to show the contrast of night and day.
People who think so true that love can only be found in romance believe that i live in a simple and sad reality, but they can’t even manage to find love in the simple act of living.
I pity them, more than they could ever pity me.

Am I the only one that likes being an aspec? I've seen number of people hating themselves since of that & I barely see anyone liking it.
Lacking attraction is great, y'all just haven't reconciled w it yet/pos

Being ace with no libido or attraction but still experiencing the physical sensation of being turned on is so strange

Can we normalize horny asexuals?
Like, I don’t want to have physical sex with anyone, but I will write some of the most gnarly smut ever read when I get a little itch.

Sometimes I forget that real people in the lgbtq+ community do also hate asexual and/or aromantic people, and then I stumble across one post about one thing that so many different groups of people do that’s annoying, and it mentions aroace people as a category specifically as an example (no hate to op. I do disagree because I think the tags is actually where someone’s supposed to relate a post back to themself?? Like. That’s their intended function? Off topic. Anyway) but the rest of the tags are full of people being like ‘#asexual people are so annoying’ or ‘#aroaces are just straights who can’t get any bitches’ or ‘#theyll never be part of the community’
And 1: so much of that is bullshit that homophobic people use to discriminate and belittle other people in the community, and you’re just gonna rebrand it slightly to the left, and it’s ok now?? How does that make any sense at all? Riddle me that one, Batman.
And 2: that post wasn’t even intrinsically aphobic. You specifically make it so because what? You can? That’s a different flavor of exactly what the post was arguing against (adding your own two cents and changing the meaning of a post)
And it just makes me sad to see. Because what do you mean so-called liberals and fellow gay people (umbrella term obvs) are out there, not only devaluing ace and aro people’s identities, but going out of their way to make that known and exclude them on a post that’s not even about that. What the actual fuck has gotten into you? How is you claiming to be superior for feeling attraction any different from aroaces (or any combination of that) claiming to be superior for not feeling attraction?
(aka, the reason you cite for hating them) ((plus, the only, the only, reason aroaces people would celebrate it is in retaliation to having attraction being The Best Ever shoved so far down our throats we can’t conceptualize our self-worth without it, but I digress))
Sorry about the *scrolls back to the top rq* 5, about to be 6, paragraphs, I just really needed to get this out of my system.
