5. If you believed it, what would you be reincarnated into?

If I had a say, I'd like to reincarnate in the world that my personal fantasy adventure story takes place in, but I have a caring, stable family and I don't have to struggle as much for the bare minimum, and also I have at bare minimum a healthy body i can actually reasonably maintain- but if we're shooting for the stars, I want an androgynous badass body that can keep up with what I want to do and have cool powers.

If I had no say and just had to guess... maybe a sleepy zoo bear, a koala, or an iPad baby

19. What fictional character would you bring to life, if you could?

That's very much a tough one. The questions before that would be if they have their canon powers if any, if they have to be established, or if they could be original.

If original and kept powers, I'd probably bring Clark alive- the long and short of it is that he's basically got the power to do anything, and I'm sure he'd enjoy the irony of arriving to a reality where I created him as a fictional character- and then MAYBE bring me to a universe of my choosing.

If original and no powers, probably an oc named Azura. Tall, cute, nerdy, funny, hot, loving, blue hair lady with a thing for pathetic men. Perfect for me

If established and kept powers, Arceus. I know I ain't gonna be able to control it, I just wanna see what happens if I bring it to this world. Do we get a world of pokemon? Does it gift me a one time ticket to another world? Does it leave? Does it destroy the world? Idk, 50% chance something neat happens

If established and no powers, there's a lot of silly or waifu-ish answers I'm running through my mind rn. I'll get back to you on that, but essentially I'd want someone or something that could help me or at least be chill

Not much these days. My next day off? The promise of a game I'm looking forward to coming out? The internet helps at least

BREAKING: Voters in Tarrant County, Texas are reporting that the voting machines are flipping their votes from Trump to Kamala Harris

The voters are urging everyone else to check their printed ballots before submitting them.

This stuff boils my blood. Why does Tarrant County utilize such an obviously vulnerable system? This also shows that it's not just Dominion machines that are corrupt. ALL voting machines are intrinsically evil. We need to go back to voting in person on election day, with human hands as the counting method. So far, we have seen reports of flips like this happening in Tennesee, Georgia, and now Texas. This sets a precedent for us to demand the publicizing of all the machine data and the proprietary software.

It's a good thing we're catching it before the election and NOT after. 🤔

Hello! The HOTGUY COMICS Zinethology has no relation to the Double Hearted comics, nor is it connected to its narrative or universe. Instead, the story and lore were conceptualized by all of our contributors and then crafted into a linear story by the moderators— hence why there are gaps in the HGCZ timeline between pieces, as well as a few questions left unanswered for the future. Very little of the HGCZ universe was decided before our contributors had the chance to collaborate on it during our creation period, which mainly took place in the full month we set for character discussion and the mutation polls. While our head moderator TJ @definitelynotshouting came up with the initial worldbuilding before the zinethology began, the only things really established were the setting, Hotguy's backstory as an actor, the concept of mutations as a whole, and the TCG— all purely as a jumping off point to get our contributors started.

It's likely that the reason DDVAU and HGCZ are often confused is because the creators of DDVAU, @kitsuneisi and @xmaruu11, were actually guest contributors for HGCZ itself! However, their lovely contribution to our zinethology was not related in any way to Double Hearted, and instead takes place early in the vigilante careers of Hotguy and Cuteguy for HGCZ's specific world. That being said, we're honored that they chose to be a part of our project on top of everything else they were working on at the time, so we're pleased to see their work get so much love.

In short, this zinethology's story was built by the community across every single one of our contributors! We're insanely grateful for their passion and commitment to telling this story, because it would have been nowhere near as rich and incredible a tapestry if they had not been so driven. The fact that it's considered predictable that "of course Impulse gave you a clock again" so Cleo just sighs and asks to see it. Yeah of course Impulse clonked Bdubs on the head with that thing for another season, driving home I have not forgotten with every part of his being...

Nobody can trust this greasy little man and yet they adore him. He's just a sweetheart. Cinnamon roll. Everybody's angel. Haha he'll slam a sword through your stomach, loot your body, and walk off. He's never done anything wrong in his life btw.

I love the way Bdubs plays.

If you could relive any memory of your past, what would it be?

I wish I had a good answer, but truth be told? I can't really remember much on the happy end- at least, not without some unhappy parts from later in life ruining it.

Maybe Christmas as a kid when I got the ps2 for the first time. I still remember a faint red light I wasn't familiar with in the cold dark of my bedroom at Dad's house when I was... 7? Maybe? And I touched the light and it became blue and green. I turned on the TV and could see SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom nearby and a "note from Santa" with a little "hoof print." I booted the game up and it was probably the most magical thing in the world, because it was the best a game had ever looked to me and it was actually fun. I was so thankful to "Santa" I started crying, but I think I'm more impressed by the idea that my dad, aunt, or grandma somehow sneaked into my bedroom and hooked it up- they were and still are not technically savvy (well, Nana's gone now but still) and even a basic AV cable gave them trouble back then- this on top of NOT waking me up, and I've always been a light sleeper. It was a solitary and cold moment in the darkness lit up my magical lights, and maybe that's why it still sticks out to me. I think I had been upset because of my parent's divorce, and I think that really cheered me up.

Or maybe playing Pokemon Black 2 for the first time lol. I'd just kill to replay that without memory again.

I have to say when it comes for episode 107 I'm on the camp of this feeling wrong. Like, two gods' plan is to just let Ludinus just have his way? And just assume that the vessel won't get them? The Wildmother showed Orym the time Predathos came to town, it took out two of them in a blink and the Titans did the heavy lifting, it chased them from Tengar to Exandria without concept of navigation so it's foolish to think they won't do the same this time around. Running forever isn't a life even the infinite should be pursuing. Corellon is cheeky and flirty but it's a mask for being deflective and honestly a little cowardly. What you're asking and trying to persuade with gifts requires the Hells to entertain sacrificing one of their own, which they shouldn't (and I'm hopeful they won't, because that'd be to me at least be a character betrayal since they have always prioritized each other over the gods) consider doing even for any kind of promise, and treating it like it's a necessity, as if leaving like you've decided you want to do now is your 'sacrifice'? Even if being a vessel and still being of sound mind was a viable option with proof that it can work that way, there are too many unknown factors that it seems not even the gods have answers for, so it should all trail back to the fact that this is STILL not a risk worth taking and Ludinus should not be having his way.

I guess part of this feeling comes down to the fact that this was not what I was hoping to get out of the episode; I'm always open to being surprised (because I often am) but it has to be in a good way, this was not a good way. But we'll have to see where it goes, this is a proposal of two gods against a majority yet to say their piece and could still be heard out, I still trust Matt's vision and Abu DM's like smooth butter, but the god debate admittedly continues to wear on me - we were already in a state where we were open to talk but now they're conspiring against one another too? Can we not just focus on Plan A: Unite to Stop Ludinus from releasing Predathos? Evoroa literally said Ludinus' plan is to divide why are we sowing more division? Couldn't just kill Zathuda and take his dragon for Fearne...this should've been Bell's Hells' big win to make up for Otohan but now for me at least it feels a little sour.

the AU concept essentially sprung from my sleep-deprived and angst-craving brain, on a flight to melbourne at 2am.

The basic idea is that Etho and Joel are pirates in a nautical fantasy world, with gods, magic, and fantastical sea beasts (+ Lizzie).

Etho and Joel end up with their souls linked after the two of them take and use cursed magic items 'belonging' to the god of souls, a vengeful being who feeds on the emotions and souls of mortals (it does not have a name yet-). So now they share injuries which means neither can satisfy the urge to strangle the other without causing themself harm. Sad! The items do give them powers though, which is a bonus. Yeah Joel might be seperated from his wife and has to deal with etho but he can also turn into a wolf so its not all bad.

Prior to meeting Joel, Etho was a loner, having already lost his soul in his shitty deal with the god (yet somehow still being alive... hmm... smells like a plot point....). He spent a fair while running around causing chaos (got involved with King Ren a while and worked for him, because despite being a pirate and generally against the idea of a monarchy he will not pass up the chance to get some extra coin if it suits him), but eventually settled down in a seaside pirate-ridden town because he was massively wanted after betraying the King's trust and also kind of tired. Here and there, he did the bidding of his god, which generally consisted of killing people (the god could just smite them but this is more interesting for it to watch). Etho's cursed item is a dagger that gives him the ability to go unnoticed when he's sneaking around places. If people are looking for him, their eyes gloss over him, if he's trying to be quiet he will literally not make a noise, and if he's picking someone's pocket his touch is feather light. Unlike Joel's amulet, there's nothing special about the dagger that gives him these powers, it just grants whatever the user would find coolest or most useful. Etho avoids using the dagger in combat for... reasons, and instead opts to use an arsenal of other knives he has.

Before Joel had his soul split in two (because note that difference, Etho was running around soulless for a decade before this somehow) with one half shoved in Etho's glass eye, Joel was a pirate captain with a crew consisting of Jimmy and probably some other empires people, or just random bg characters. Joel was probably one of the most dangerous pirates to encounter out there, not because of his ships firepower (though they've got a lot of that), but because he somehow always had the environment on his side. (Almost like the Ocean Goddess was his wife... or something...)

Most of the plot revolves around them being sent on a long errand by the soul god to find one of its other 'followers' that it lost track of. They end up putting together a shabby crew, meeting character's from their pasts, and desperately seeking a solution to the soul-linked issue that doesn't end up with both of them dead.
