I have soo mu h chest dysphoria but more recently, as I've transitioned (socially) and I managed to find my style and learned to embrace myself more (joys of being in my mid 20s) and stopped constantly retraumatising and dissociating during sex (long, depressing story) I managed to learn to love my body including my chest and wound up into dollification, bimbofication and hucow AND I learned they're stupidly sensitive so now when my partner and I shower together and he started scrubbing my body I end up in subspace by virtue of him just....rubbing my chest and it feels so good.

Anyway, point is, I became more feminine since cutting ppl out that were purposely misgendering me or not bothering to try bc that meant I could actually embrace myself and it turns out boobs are not the devil, they're wonderful actually, but society makes it that they suck

boobs are awesome it just sucks that they're seen as female by default :/ I've probably said this before here but I wish I could be seen as androgynous despite having massive knockers but alas that isn't possible where I live

also this isn't completely related but that last bit reminded me of how absurdly hard it is to find bras in larger sizes. you can't ever find something that's cute AND your size AND affordable

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last messaged you. I hope all is well on your end.

I had to share that I just read The Songbird and the Sea. I sent that fic a while back to my friend (now roommate) cause I knew you liked it and I thought, ‘Well, if MY fave author likes it then it must be good.’ She’s since reread it like three times and has purchased the sequels.

It was great.

So I don’t know what your life is looking like right now, but mine is apparently getting into BTS fan fiction (who woulda thought).

Whenever I think of that fic, I think of you. I know you’ve paused writing current fic works. I just want to really emphasize what an effect they had on me. Your writing is amazing and I hope you know that.

I truly hope all is well or will soon get that way. I’m sorry for not messaging in such a long time.

I really wish the asks inbox showed me when these were sent, because I'm not sure how long you've waited for a reply, but I'm so happy you checked in on me. It has been a long while, and it's been a long time since I opened tumblr, but everything is going fairly well over here. Better than it has been in the past year, which is why I'm finally feeling well enough to dive back into the things I love like reading and writing.

The way my jaw DROPPED when you mentioned The Songbird and The Sea. 😱 I was just thinking of rereading it the other day, I've spent most of this summer reading a lot of BTS fanfiction but that one is still top-tier and one of the best fics I've ever read. I'm so glad your friend loved it, and it tickles me pink that you are into BTS fanfiction 🙈 I've kind of been working on something and thought I'd have to like... post it anonymously or just not mention it here on tumblr because I haven't really had anyone cross over from my fandom writing here to BTS, so you have made my whole day.

I'm trying really hard to pick up writing again. It's been tough working full time, and I'm working remotely so my computer is now associated with work instead of play, but finally being in such a good place the plot bunnies won't leave me be across... multiple fandoms. I have a few projects going now. Honestly the only thing I'm not working on is my novel, but getting back into the groove of creating might need to come first before I start trying to wrap my brain around it again.

You are so sweet and kind, and your words mean the world to me. Don't be sorry for going so long between messages, I'm one of those people where no matter how much time passes if you send me something it'll feel like no time at all. I'm just happy to hear from a good friend. Our little back and forth over the years has been some of the best highlights of sharing my work online. So know that you've had just as much of a profound impact on me.
