In the mood to yap about Prospero, specifically how he became my favorite Nevermore character

So you know how there moments when you can here a characters voice? Now the momemt when I 'first heard' Prospero's voice is whine he first started becoming my favourite. It was this scene btw

Like, the tone is so clear on my head I love it.

Now Prospero isn't the first character this happens to me with.

It hasn't happened with most misfits yet, except Duke in that balcony scene with Annabel. It's happened with most clusterfuck except Will. It happens first with Monty in most of his spectre forms but also when he reminded Duke of calling him a hick. With Annabel it's any time she's being sassy? Or like, evil. With Ada, I've only started hearing it in recent chapters, so clearly too. And not just in emotional scenes, but in all scenes.

Back on how he became my favourite.

To me, this basically confirmed their friendship. I know they only officially become friends in later chapters, but still. And like, seeing a man and a woman be genuine, platonic friends means a lot to me. I know it's sort of childish, but after younger me got scarred by Starco becoming romantic and very adult hammering it not my head that boys and girls can't be friends, this is important to me. I know there is still Lenore and Duke, but I personally headcanoned them to be in a qpr and I see Lenore and Pluto as very sibling like? More headcanon, but how I see them nonetheless.

And it's how's me how like, sassy(?) he and Annabel can be. It's endearing really.

Now when I was done reading this chapter I went to the comments as I usually do. And in it, someone said aro lesbian solidarity. And that everyone is how I discovered that Prospero is canonically aromantic.

And this also means quite a but to me as aspce rep is already rare let alone aro rep. Not to mention form a piece of media I actually like!! From a character I was starting to enjoy more!!!

So then, I downloaded tumblr, when onto the Nevermore tag, and then he naturally just, started becoming my favourite.
