Start note : The one time Ford ventured into the Gravity Falls woods on his own—a few summers after the Weirdmaggedon, and found himself face to face with a creature so familiar yet so foreign, that he froze like a wax statue, in awe.

“One way to absolve his crime, a different form, a different time.”

This quote from the poem the Axolot revealed to Dipper and Mabel was left to interpretation, many have considered that Bill would return as a human, and it made me think… in theory, he could be anything ! He could be a turtle, a lion, a squid… a tree, a rock, anything ! So far I’ve seen people draw Bill as a triangle, a human, a cat, a fox, and even in a axolot dragon-ish form….but what about a fuzzy, pocket- sized creature that bites your hands and knocks stuff off your shelf?

My main inspos for Bill’s fantastic beast design were the combination of three animals: a great horned owl, a lynx, and a woolly bear caterpillar*. However one of my friends pointed out that he ressembles more to a ferret with his build, and honestly yes, especially in his shrunken down form. Also some may point out that his smaller version looks very closely related to brushbuddies from Witch Hat Atelier (I may have been inspired from there as well), except Bill’s hind legs are situated farther away on the body…kinda?

End note: the photo quality of traditional drawings is atrocious, it’s so blurry 😩 Maybe I should start migrating to digital art; though I can’t quite grasp the techniques on screen yet.

**P.S: Also, this was mostly inspired by Bill’s rambling about “returning as a caterpillar in 1976” in this awesome comic here by @stemmmm:

About an au speffically what if through some means (maybe he’s cursed maybe the axolotal thinks it will help) bill ends trapped up in a human form separate from ford before the portal indcient but not after ford finds out imagine how absolutely horrid that would be. When they do fallout But also imagine like Stan still comes to gravity falls after ford sends for help. And when he gets there ford is acting like he never sent for help and everything is fine despite the house being in disarray. Despite the obvious evidence. Hell maybe he didn’t send for Stan maybe bill did just to screw with ford. (Like sending a note or whatever pretending to be ford to get Stan out there so he can use Stan as leverage seems in character for bill )

Omg it's hereeeee! The Bill & Frills charm by @gasolinespit with a few surprising extras! They added the Flatland Bill pin! 💙 and i got a holographic Axolotl sticker which my camera refuses to see so no photo of that.

And I also got some jolly ranchers and an adorable note with a drawing of my beloved name sake on it, which i will be keeping along with the rest of my notes on my shelf.

Estoy tratando de trabajar y elaborar bien algo relacionado a un camaleón supremo, si alguien escucho sobre el Axolot de Gravity Falls, en resumen el camaleón es similar pero diferente a la vez ya que no es un ser bueno

Práctica de ojo a lapiz

Práctica de ojo en marcador de colores, me llama la atención hacerlos tipo espiral pero también que sea círculos casi como normalmente dibujan los ojos de los camaleones

Capucha de camaleón, me inspire solo un poco en los de Assassins Creed (por ahora) pero también en una imagen que encontré en Google cuando buscaba referencias de capuchas

Hace unos días escuché una animación de la canción "Somos Piratas" /"Tu eres pirata" y se me vino la idea que los magicors del mar sean un grupo de piratas y otros seres en contra de los seres oscuros, he luchado por crear buenos diseños pero quiero que sea un poco simples así para que no me complique a la hora de dibujar pero esto último no será verdad

No todos usarán trajes de piratas, otros de otra temática posiblemente habrá una ada capas de cambiar su tamaño y Talvez alguien con la temática de un pez como una sirena o Tritón

A pesar que he estado ocupada con los deberes, he intentado dibujar por lo menos en Lapis algo decente con algunas ideas que tengo en mente, en la descripción de cada imagen está alguna ideas y sus conceptos
