You know, as an aspiring artist, I feel really embarrassed because I’m ashamed of how my community views AI Generation. Personally, I don’t view AI as a threat, I think AI is nothing more than a tool people can use to help create prompts for expanding already existing ideas or simply for one’s own amusement or the amusement of others (however, I do agree that there should be some restrictions though, such as not being allowed to use it in commercial productions). But what’s stupid is that I’ve seen them mindlessly shill the kicktoon movement and the Barbenheimer meme because they think their causing a boom in indie animation and saving cinema respectively, even though in reality indie animation that falls outside of the kicktoon genre is struggling and cinema was already revived back in 2021 by films like Spider-Man NWH. I think the people within this community who do all this shit are the real threats to creativity, not ChatGPT, fuck all of you.
