I found this concept art a few moments ago on Instagram, and it is from 2021 by artist Benjamin Warnitz. I really wished to see something like this in the show, I really wanted to see Vi's trauma in prison and how she was able to struggle to survive there at such a young age (like 15 or 16 I think).

I know the show is over and all that, and I've seen some posts and people saying "This particular animation was not created for the show, it was a personal project by one of the artists"

But I really wished they had included that scene in the show.

Personnal storyboard based on my favorite scene of @eldenring shadow of the erdtree, the tragic confrontation with former comrades… The music of the fight (Those United In Common Cause - Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree OST) is so beautiful I had to do something with it. It was a totally different exercise than the previous storyboard, with one simple arena but many different characters.

there's tons more tbh ahah but these immediately came to mind and im in my phone so linking to all of them is a bit of a hassle rn.

oh! I'd add also that furudate-sensei is a new recent one! especially towards the last volumes of the manga, i love the quality of his linework and how rough his bodies are. like, the big hands with square fingers, and the intense expressions, and the way he marks muscles. it's great stuff! I've definitely taken some inspiration from it

10. are you confident about your art?

kind of! this is kind of like the last ask i think. im confident i can make my art work for what i want/need it to do, and that it'll send the message across even if it's not the prettiest. and that's a pretty good thing imo! but i wouldnt feel confident if asked to make a fully colored illustration for example. im very aware of where my skills are at and what my strengths are hahah but i do try to work on expanding them when i can

Full of resources, the Dr Warnitz have been researching the dark power of the three D., the Devil Demons of Doom, also called the 3D before entering the order. He have been trying to repress it’s effects on himself ever since, but can he truly counter such malice? Can he truly fathom the insidious power of the cursed rigs? CAN HE TRULY SURVIVE THE EVIL POWER OF THE DOOMED POLYGONS? WILL HE BE ABLE TO RESIST THE ANCIENT CALL OF THE 3D??!!! No one knows, but the CRFA19 order fear the day when the Dr Warnitz will evantually fall to his demise in the 3D pit during the promised apocalypse when the evil shaman Aïda will return in the kingdom of gobelins.

Générique Annecy 2017 Hommage à la Chine   -  Wu Qi Dao De janvier à mai dernier, en vue du festival d’Annecy, j’ai travaillé au générique Wu Qi Dao aux côtés de Jules Bourgès, Nathan Harbonn Viaud, Antoine Vignon et Benjamin Warnitz pour l’image, ainsi que Diana Buscemi et Anne De Boysson pour la musique. On y présente des extraits de vie d’une jeune interne de 9 ans dans une école de kung fu, rêvant de devenir championne pour s’en sortir. Quelques recherches autour du personnage...

GOBELINS - FIFAA 2017 /

Comme le veut la tradition, les jeunes animateurs des Gobelins ont réalisé cinq courts métrages pour célébrer cette année “La Chine à l’honneur”. Un hommage vibrant plus particulièrement dédié à Seï Riondet, ancienne élève des Gobelins et intervenante tout au long du projet disparu prématurément. 

En voici une sélection pour illustrer la Chine dans toutes ses couleurs, et ses talents :

Le Serpent Blanc, par Antoine Bonnet, Mathilde Laillet, Mathilde Loubes, Claire Matz, James Molle, Victoria Niu. Au coeur des coulisses d'un opéra traditionnel chinois, une troupe s'affaire pour donner vie à l'histoire qui va se dérouler sur scène : la légende du Serpent Blanc.

Wu QI Dao, par Jules Bourgès, Cécile Guillard, Nathan Harbonn-Viaud, Antoine Vignon, Benjamin Warnitz. Dans un internat d’arts martiaux Chinois, une petite fille se bat pour être championne.

13 :46 (la sieste), par Jocelyn Charles, Morgane, Ravelonary, Pierre Rougemont, Camille Guillot, Quentin Boyer Di Bernardo, Joséphine Meis. Sur un chantier de rénovation dans le Shanghai des années 80, des ouvriers se réveillent de leur sieste quotidienne pour se remettre au travail.
