— that and colin can be a real pain in the ass. it’s good for bigby to be away from him, even if it is for a few days.

• bigby always found you to be attractive. it was a bit part of your fairytale back in the homelands, but he tried not to show his attraction toward you…but it was hard for others not to pick on the big bad wolf after they see him tucking a strand of hair behind your ear, helping you out of cars, holding doors for you, having a special soft spot for you, all sorts of chivalrous shit.

• you two ended up being a thing a few days after the investigation about faith and the crooked man came to an end. more specifically, you were outside with bigby when all of a sudden you were pushed by a mundy and you lost your footing. luckily, bigby was able to catch you and pull you close to him, cursing the blatant rudeness of the mundy, under his breath before checking up on you to see if you were okay.

— then, what followed was you two looking deeply into one another’s eyes before you wrapped a hand around bigby’s tie and pulled him closer, kissing the sheriff.

• i want to say that bigby’s libido is average. nothing too unbearable, but as soon as spring rolls around, it does a complete 180° and bigby becomes the epitome of needy.

— during this time, he can be a bit rough, he gets way more animalistic than usual and there are times when bigby takes a brief vacation from work just so he can pound you all day, leaving you unable to walk on your own.

Got any Bigby Wolf headcanons?

Hey Anon, of course I do! Here's a list of my (..favourite) headcanons;

Bigby can hear someone's pulse or heartbeat- His hearing is so sharp that when talking to someone, his breathing or pacing might sync with their pulse without realizing it! He often does this unintentionally.

He can't stand the smell of artificial scents such as perfumes or air fresheners! They smell 'fake' to him and give him a headache.

He never lets his cigarette burn down to the filter and always puts it out just before that point, almost out of habit.

When he's outside, city scents can be distracting. That's why he often smokes as soon as he steps outside.

(When Snow is around, he doesn't feel the need to smoke; Her scent's enough to make him focus)

When he's focused, he barely blinks. Snow has to remind him to do it sometimes (spoiler alert, he forgets to).

Stray cats don't seem to mind him; They don't run from him, but they don't get too close either. It's almost a mutual understanding.

He is DEFINITELY on the asexual spectrum.. Somewhere.

Bigby hates shoes; They're tight, and the feeling of wood/grass under his feet is way better than anything else.

Balancing was hard when he first shifted into his human form; He wouldn't stand up for days. But when Snow really told him to, he'd break off things like pipes or wood for support.

Shakes his hair instead of drying it after a shower/bath.

He often fixes up little things around town; Broken windows, broken doors.. But no one would believe him if he told them, so he keeps it to himself.

Someone once asked him if he was Neurodivergent; But the truth is, Bigby isn't used to acting human! His low (sometimes monotone) voice mixed with everything else.. He doesn't have a clue. Would I headcanon Bigby as Autistic? Oh Hell yeah

Bigby Wolf - Relationship Headcanons (w/ some NSFW HCS)

- Congratulations! After much perseverance and patience…you've acquired a sheriff werewolf partner! 

- Once Bigby finally comes to terms with his feelings, it will still take time to adjust. 

- He's not used to being vulnerable and open, but if he was going to start…there was no better person than you.

- Bigby trusts you with pretty much everything he is and it means the world to him that you trust him tenfold with your own heart.

- Bigby can be very, very protective of you. He tries not to come off suffocating or controlling, it's just in his nature to protect those he loves. 

- He's not a huge fan of PDA. The most he will do is hold your hand or shoulder and/or maybe kiss your forehead if you guilt trip him enough to do it (poke out your bottom lip and do your best puppy eyes and he'll cave)

- There are many instances where Bigby would have liked to kiss you, but you'll likely have to be the one to initiate it and commit to it in order for it to happen.

- Sarcasm is one of your own love languages you share between each other. 

- Bigby may not be the best at remembering dates for certain things but he does remember the things you like/dislike especially if it has a distinct scent. 

- Speaking of his heightened senses, he's got them practically tuned into you most if not practically all the time. (Albeit again he isn't weird about it. It's just something that naturally occurs)

- If you're someone that has menstrual cycles he picks up on it earlier than you do and tries what he can to make the time of the month less dreadful. 

- Bigby is definitely hot blooded both figuratively and literally. Which makes him great for winter nights and a nightmare for summer nights.

- Speaking of which, he'll always have dibs on being the bigger spoon, you can try but not without Bigby being a smart-ass about it. 

NSFW Relationships Headcanons: 

- His favorite ideas for dates are: going for long walks to nowhere in particular (bonus if it's in the woods) and/or nights in at your place  (or his, but…considering the state it's in he feels more comfortable spending time in your home) with some take out food. 

- At the end of the day, Bigby may still screw up and make things messier than they were at his job but as long as he has you to love him unconditionally and smiling at him...he really couldn't ask for anything more.

- Bigby will primarily be the dominant one in your relationship.

- Even if he lets you take the reins every now and then, in the end he always reminds you he's always in control. 

- I hope you love a hairy man, cause with Bigby it's basically a given. Especially down there.

- Moderate length but very girthy dick that stretches and fills you perfectly to make you see stars.

- Not much of a tease at first but as you grow more comfortable in the newfound relationship he can be a bit of an asshole about teasing you.

- Especially when you know that he knows you're turned on from your scent alone and he does nothing about it. 

- Some encounters can get pretty intense and his eyes have glowed yellow and his claws have come out but he's never scared you or hurt you drastically. (Likely just turned you on more)

- He won't admit to many kinks outright but by all means please praise and validate this man, let him know he's doing something right. 

- Nothing motivates him more than hearing you moan, beg, and scream his name and how good he feels.

- He's fairly caring in after care. He'll ask if you're okay (especially during your first encounters, he'll worry about being too rough or carried away please reassure this man) and/or if you need anything.

- He has no qualms about you cuddling up into his side or resting your head on his chest as he likely wraps his arm around you in return as he nods off to sleep soon after the moment is over.

Archer - Somewhere between Berlin from Money Heist (English dub) and Clay Puppington from Moral Orel ! He's a lot more polite than Clay, and his cadence is more similar to Berlin overall, but it's something like that. It's hard to narrow down a specific voice for this cunt unfortunately (loving). Also sometimes I imagine him with Drew Gooden's way of speaking. Not his voice, Archer's has a different more rigid tone, just the way he tells jokes. Nothing set in stone tho

Also maybe the narrator guy from Thief (the videogame.)

Jonah - Bigby from The Wolf Among Us is the closest I can think of tbh. I'd say it's like, a 6/10 on accuracy, but Jonah does have that kind of growliness to him. I imagine his voice is way more monotone and angrier sounding though.

Salt - Mikey from The Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles <3 He just sounds like that, Mikey has that same semi-chaotic-but-grounded way of speaking that just lends itself really well to Salt's character. Also he yells like that.

Radha - Sevika from Arcane is the closest match because unfortunately women with gravely voices are hardly ever allowed, but even then it's not that close. Radha doesn't speak much, and when she does it's the kind of voice with authority that is rarely rivaled. Sevika matches that well enough, but it misses the mark juuuust a little. She just has a different Vibe to her, yk ? I'm still looking for a voice for her.

Melaine - Tara from Epic (2013), I really like how she sounds in this movie, it's so playful yet passionate ! She has very little screentime (A shame) but I feel like they conveyed her personality perfectly. Beyoncé did an insane job here. Anyway, this is literally how Melaine sounds like in my head <3 I imagine zir with this kinda playful wiseness to zir, where she clearly knows a lot of things and is incredibly intelligent but her whimsical nature is the priority. She's just like that <3

Tomto - Tom Haverford from Parks and Recreation because that's Him. A little less high pitched but that's literally him. Also another option is Kieran Duffy from RDR2 because of the Cowboyness of it all. I like to think he does fhis voice when he plays a character.

Valéria - Kai'sa from League of Legends, minus the. Britishness of it. That's how she sounds though: Very serious, plays herself completely straight even when she's being goofy, and has something very bad happening in her mind at all given moments. She's trying to help people even when she can't, and it's wonderful. I love it. But not British get that away from my girl

B111 - 100% Modus from Fallout 76, no other way around it. Bill was made to have a friendly voice, but given the state they're in post-fall, they tend to pause a lot and have random stutters in many places. Their voice box no longer works as intended, and although they always sound alarmingly calm, they're usually just chilling. Nothing ominous about a bot with a bomb inside of them whos just chilling and hanging out !!!!

They started so many days with a warm coffee,

He hated seeing them sad.

They were always his rock.

Seeing them break was rare and devastating.

“It’s stupid,” Y/N groaned. “There’s no good reason I should feel this way.”

Bigby frowned.

“That’s not true.”

Y/N sighed, rubbing at their eyes.

“I feel so unmotivated. It’s horrible.”

They slapped their hands into their lap.

“Always worried about everyone but yourself,” Bigby noted,

Pushing himself to his feet,

Y/N hummed surprise as they were pulled to their feet,

“Because that’s all we can do right now,” he started,

A/N: I assume the S/O is gn. This makes me super happy. I can definitely see him trying to get Colin to help him out.

“Don’t forget to get the chicken, Bigs. Doctor’s orders.”, you reminded your furry husband. He grumbled, reaching into a fridge full of packets of wrapped chicken. As much as he loved your cooking, he hated eating just cause the doctor said so.

He picked up two packets and placed them in the cart. “(Y/N)! Is that you?”, a voice calls. You looked up to see your old bully from high school. She came up to you giving you a hug; you gave her an awkward hug back, shrugging at Bigby.

“You look good! How have you been?”, she turned to see a confused Bigby. She smiled at him. “No way, is this your boyfriend? He’s cute!” Bigby raises his hand. “Actually, I’m the husband…” She gaped at him then turned to you. “I’m shocked! You couldn’t get a boyfriend to save your life.”, she giggled, making Bigby frown.

‘Was she serious?’, both you and Bigby thought. He looked around watching people smile uncomfortably. He looked back at her. “How’d you manage to snag a cutie like him? You’re lucky.”, she says, smiling slyly at Bigby. “Where are you from?”, she asked. He hesitated his answer. “I’ve always been here.” It wasn’t technically a lie or truth. She gave him a pout. “I’m sad I didn’t get to meet you first.”

Bigby tried his best to not look uncomfortable and stayed near you. “Well he fell for me first. And I guess I am very lucky.”, you say, giving him a smile. He looked down at you, giving you a smile back. He noticed her silence. She tried her best to keep a fake smile and kept her attention on him. She got closer to him. “Well, whenever you change your mind, let me know.”, she says, handing him a card.

“Hey, we’ve got things to do, so...it was nice to meet you.”, he said, quickly bringing you two to a self checkout. He got everything scanned and you guys made it back to the Woodlands.

You sighed. “I’ll get started on dinner.”, you say, taking off your shoes and walk in the kitchen. Bigby frowned as he watched you start up on dinner before moving to his chair.

He sat in his chair and sighed himself. He definitely didn’t like how that girl treated you. Hell, he knew what it was like to get picked on for no reason, but it was hard to see the only thing that brightened his life be dimmed by someone who wasn’t so humbled.

He looked at Colin and thought of an idea. He got up and tapped Colin awake. The pig snorted and looked up at the wolf. “What, Bigby?”, he was shushed beckoned to come closer.

In the kitchen, you sighed to yourself thinking back on the previous event. You’ve never been that embarrassed. ‘Why’d she have to say all that in PUBLIC??’ The thought frustrated you. Were you really not that good for Bigby…?

They notice and smile. Bigby walks up to you and wraps his arms around your waist, giving your cheek a kiss. “Just wanted to see you laugh.”, he mumbles against your skin. You smiled, giving him a kiss. “Thank you.”

“Rah!”, Bigby and Colin yelled, popping around the corner and scaring you. Bigby changed his face to his first form and had Colin go along with his plan.

You huffed, clutching at your chest. “Why would you two do that? I’m trying to make dinner.”, you say, and stifle a laugh after seeing them make weird faces.

He knew how to make you feel better, vise versa. His light was back and he was gonna make sure it stayed that way.
