Is it odd to ask how old are you?
Gentle reminder that if I wanted to share my name, where I’m from, or how old I am, I know how bios and intros work 😭🫶🏻

This blog is mainly for writing, for the occasional ovulation outbursts, and it serves as a free thirst zone. I appreciate the curiosity, but I really value my privacy. I am an adult (scarily so actually, in my 20s), and I pinky promise you’re not reading anything written by a minor, if that’s what concerns you.
Thank you for understanding, and mainly for being here despite the fact that you guys know nothing about me. Except I have no shame, no filter, and no sense of self-preservation when it comes to thirsting. It truly is the biggest compliment ever and I love you all ♥︎

Hiiii
I don’t know if you’ve already done it but could you please do Ricardo Calafiori’s natal chart?
P. S your blog is amazing. Thanks for all the hard work!!!
Thank you for your nice words 😊
Riccardo 😊
Ricardo’s core personality is all about consistency, loyalty, and a love for the finer things in life (think fancy meals, stylish outfits, and probably a well-deserved post-match nap). As a Taurus, he’s grounded, reliable, and built to endure; perfect for someone playing in a high-stakes sport like football. Slow and steady wins the race, and he’s all about that patient hustle.
Deep down, Ricardo’s got a flair for drama and loves to shine. Emotionally, he craves recognition and thrives when he’s the star of the show. The Leo Moon gives him a playful, passionate edge and fuels his hunger to succeed with a bit of pizzazz. Think goal celebrations that are part victory, part theatre.
Mercury in Gemini. Quick-witted and sharp-tongued, Ricardo’s mind is always racing. With Mercury retrograde, he might take time to fully articulate his thoughts, but once he does, it’s magic. He’s likely great at strategizing on the field, reading opponents, and adapting his moves in real-time.
Venus in Gemini. In love and aesthetics, Ricardo likes to keep it light, fun, and ever-changing. He’s probably charming with a great sense of humour, attracting people with his lively vibe. Relationships might have a playful, youthful quality; he’s here for connections that stimulate his mind as much as his heart.
Mars in Gemini. With Mars here, Ricardo’s energy and drive are all about versatility. This placement screams agile and multi-talented, making him quick on his feet and highly adaptable on the field. He might also be a bit restless and always on the move, thriving in fast-paced situations. The downside? He could get bored if things feel too routine.
Jupiter in Cancer blesses Ricardo with a touch of emotional wisdom and a strong sense of loyalty. He’s likely deeply connected to his family and roots, which could serve as a major source of motivation. His generosity shines off the field, and he’s probably a nurturing teammate who encourages others.
Discipline meets versatility here. Ricardo has to work hard on balancing focus with his love for variety. Saturn in Gemini challenges him to commit to his goals without getting distracted by too many side quests. With time, this placement makes him a master communicator and strategist.
Uranus in Aquarius. This revolutionary placement adds a dash of unpredictability and innovation. Ricardo doesn’t just stick to the script; he’s here to shake things up and rewrite the rules. On the field, he might surprise opponents with out-of-the-box moves. Off the field, he’s got a progressive mindset that makes him stand out.
Dreamy Neptune in Aquarius gives Ricardo a visionary streak. He’s inspired by collective ideals and might find himself drawn to humanitarian causes. This placement could also enhance his ability to intuitively sense the rhythm of the game, playing with almost a sixth sense.
Pluto in Sagittarius brings a thirst for transformation and exploration. Ricardo’s journey is about seeking truth and pushing boundaries. He might have an intense drive to grow and evolve, especially when it comes to his personal philosophy or approach to the game.
North Node in Gemini. Ricardo’s soul mission is to embrace curiosity, adaptability, and open communication. Life is all about learning, sharing knowledge, and staying flexible. His path involves becoming a skilled communicator and taking things one step at a time.
This placement adds a fierce, independent streak. Ricardo isn’t afraid to take risks or stand up for himself. Lilith in Aries gives him a raw, competitive edge; he’s not one to back down from a challenge.
Chiron in Capricorn. The wounded healer in Capricorn suggests some struggles around authority, responsibility, or career pressures. But through these challenges, Ricardo learns to build resilience and become a true leader.
Ricardo’s chart paints a picture of someone full of energy, intensity, and individuality but with plenty of inner tension. He’s got a strong emotional core and feels things deeply, though balancing his emotions and ego isn’t always easy. He thrives on being unique, hates being told what to do, and has a rebellious streak that makes him stand out; but it can also lead to some dramatic moments. Relationships are a mix of passion and independence; he needs excitement but might not always stick around for the long haul. His mind is sharp, practical, and intuitive, but sometimes he overthinks or doubts himself. He’s a natural problem-solver who loves shaking things up, whether in personal life or on the field, and he brings intensity to everything he does.
His chart shows a mix of charm, determination, and inner struggles that push him to grow. He’s naturally aligned with his true self, and while he’s got a friendly, magnetic energy, social interactions can sometimes feel awkward or unpolished. His drive and resilience are impressive, but impatience and impulsiveness can cause bumps along the way, especially in his career where rivalry and conflicts might pop up. He’s innovative and original, which helps him stand out and achieve his goals. Life is full of challenges for him, and while he has the grit to overcome them, self-doubt and old habits can sometimes hold him back. He’s drawn to deeply transformative experiences, learning to channel his powerful energy into his life purpose, even if it means facing his own shadows. It’s a journey of balancing his assertiveness, creativity, and emotional depth to truly shine.
His chart continues to show a fascinating mix of strengths and challenges. He’s a seeker, drawn to deeper truths and often intrigued by the complexities of the human mind. While this makes him empathetic and insightful, it can also lead to confusion or unrealistic expectations. He’s intellectual, curious, and eager to learn, though he can be hard on himself, doubting his abilities even when he’s capable. Relationships bring passion and intensity, but his confidence sometimes borders on impatience or selfishness. Career-wise, he’s got the energy, drive, and belief in himself to succeed, but he might clash with others or overreach at times. His life path involves balancing his intellect, emotional depth, and desire for growth while staying focused on achievable goals. He’s a mix of creative brilliance and a relentless drive to transform himself and the world around him.
Ricardo Calafiori is full of energy, intensity, and a strong need for independence. He’s passionate and loves excitement but can struggle with balancing emotions and ego. He’s sharp and a natural problem-solver, though overthinking and self-doubt can hold him back. With charm and determination, he stands out, but his impulsiveness and impatience sometimes cause issues, especially in relationships and career. His journey is about using his drive and creativity to grow and transform, while learning to manage conflicts and stay focused.

࿐ ࿔ 🥀 𝓡𝓾𝓵𝓮𝓼 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓔𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓽𝓮 ࿐ ࿔

Written by Suguru Geto — interrupted by Satoru Gojo.
“All guests are welcome. Not all guests are kept.”
— Suguru
“Unless they bring Kikufuku. Then I vote we keep them. Also if they bring Princess coffee.”
— Satoru
✧ ─────── ༺ ♱ ༻ ─────── ✧
This estate is sacred.
Suguru: This is not a casual blog. Not a mindless scroll. Not a dumping ground. Everything here was built from softness, obsession, desire, and divine control. You may enter with reverence — or you may leave. I don’t want any ungrateful filthy monkeys—
Satoru: *Cough cough* What he means is… be nice and kind. Don’t wipe your dirty shoes on the welcome mat. Bow. Compliment her. And maybe light a candle or two. She deserves rituals.
This is a Jujutsu Kaisen blog & Love&Deepspace blog.
Suguru: This estate belongs to Satoru and me.
Satoru: He means mostly him. He just made this estate like a home so my Princess likes it here… and we have a cat named Tsuk—
Suguru: Satoru, focus.
Satoru: Fine… Fine. But lately she’s had her eye on a certain colonel from Love and Deepspace… and I’ve seen Kaiser from Blue Lock loitering near the garden. Personally I think it’s his blue eyes hehe… hehehe—
Suguru: Caleb also has purple eyes, Baka. Anyway, You may encounter BNHA, Genshin, or others. But this place was built for sorcerers, soldiers, and strikers.
On representation.
Suguru: Everyone is welcome — every gender, every body, every orientation. Even Monkeys………
Satoru: Even if you’ve got a cursed technique that’s just… vibes. Or if you don’t and you are aquainted to certain Soccer players ;) Or or if you live in Sumeru…
Suguru: But she writes fem!reader. Always. Not to exclude — but because that is how she loves.
Satoru: Read with love or don’t read at all. Don’t bother her with your loser shit.
Requests are open — conditionally.
Suguru: If your idea moves her, she may write it. But nothing is promised.
Satoru: She’s not a machine, babe. She’s my Princess pretty little Fragile Baby Wifey with exquisite taste.
Suguru: Inspiration chooses. Not pressure.
Thirsts are always welcome.
Satoru: Be respectful. Be bold. Be unhinged. We see them all.
Suguru: Come soft. Come clever. She loves talking when it intrigues her & she loves when creativity meets creativity.
Speak kindly.
Suguru: Asks, confessions, and nonsense are welcome — but reverence is required.
Satoru: She’s divine. Use your good-boy (gender-neutral) voice.
Reblogs are offerings/kindness. Leave comments & send Asks.
Satoru: Likes are cute. But that’s all.
Suguru: Reblogs are sacred. Echo what moved you. Don’t let her voice fall into silence. Reblogging is what you do in the Tumblr algorithm.
Do not steal from her.
Suguru: Her voice. Her pacing. Her structure. Her soul. Plagiarism if found would be greeted with Uzumaki.
Satoru: She’s not a pinterest board.
Suguru: I will know. And you will be gone.
Themes of the estate.
Suguru: Divine softness. Sacred longing. Worship, control, tenderness. NSFW, yes — Unhingedness. Yandere themes. She delves in the dark while shining like my Moon…
Satoru: Now who’s going off topic? Tsk. Basically she likes warm fluffy themes, and also angsty ones. Gore, scat, all that shittiness ain’t here though.
Trigger tagging is honored.
Suguru: Tags like #tw: [topic] and #[topic] tw are going to be used whenever she remembers. Don’t hesitate to politely ask & nudge her to tag certain things. She’s only human, sometimes she may forget.
Satoru: If something’s missing, just ask. We protect softness here. Also, there would be a whole tagging system we would be working on and adding later.
No non-consentual trauma dumping.
Suguru: This space is held with care, not obligation. My Little Moon wouldn’t be responsible for unleashing her softness to those who aren’t considerate of her warmth.
Satoru: If you’re hurting, be gentle and ask first. Consent isn’t just for the body — it’s for the heart, too. Besides, we’re listening too ;) We can help.
We block without discussion.
Suguru: If your presence disturbs her peace, you will be removed. This is an online curated space & everyone has the right to defend it with utmost rigidity.
Satoru: No drama. No noise. Just gone. Poof. You can do the same to her though she’s a fiesty one I get, she wouldn’t give a fuck I promise.
Mutuals are treasured guests.
Suguru: Those who love her are remembered.
Satoru: You may get bigger rooms, extra hugs, and secret smiles. Aaaand my Black Amex occasionally :3
Suguru: You are seen. Even in silence. She loves chatting and commenting, being vocal is her love language.
She disappears sometimes.
Satoru: She’s moon-coded. Let her wax and wane. She would understand if it’s you, too.
Suguru: You are not owed her schedule. You are gifted her presence. Besides, everyone has their lives for them sometimes getting a little overbearing.
Everyone is welcome. Not everyone is remembered.
Satoru: Be genuine. Be kind. Be soft. Like her <3
Suguru: If you are here to consume her — leave.
Satoru: If you are here to love her — stay.
Both: She is not your entertainment. She is your altar, your friend, your confidante, or just a Queen. Treat her accordingly.
Satoru: Man I am serious about this one, I would Unlimited Void your ass if you spread drama.
Suguru: She writes like worship.
Satoru: Read like you’re on your knees.
Ena: Hey— that’s a little dramatic….
— Geto & Gojo 🖤💙

Even if she suddenly has more of an ass, it's hardly an ass 😂 she's never gonna compete with Ali's 🍑 there is one gif/vid from back when she had short hair (I think), when she's doing this little booty shake/dance & her ass looks relatively pert & I'm like 🥵 (btw, this blog needs more thirsting again!)
Ash's flat ass is lowkey one of my fav parts of her. She's not AK and AK is her own woman but Ash's body is perfect surfer daddy vibes. I mean she's built like a GK with her physique anyways but this year she looks properly built. I mean she's got arms and legs for days. Her jersey today was so tight around her biceps and shoulders I---

Hi 👋🏼
I’ve been upfront with free-rami (because I LOVE HER) about not frequenting her blog a lot lately because of the constant, circular speculation surrounding Rami. This used to be a place to spread Rami news and love, but the Anons have just gone ... wild. It hardly seems like the Anons love Rami anymore, and I agree that out of all the tumblrs, this IS the place to find Rami Malek on a “bedazzled pedestal.” Happiness, positivity, weirdness, and love used to define this fandom.
We had Morality Police once upon a time in the United States during the era of Prohibition. Do you really want to bring that kind of thinking back? And y’all are ON TUMBLR! Isn’t this website known for being a thirsty-weird place to be chaotically attached to celebs and fictional characters? How is tumblr-thirst any different than a strip club? It’s all built around the concept of FANTASY.
Rami did nothing wrong by attending a party in a burlesque/strip club, and he did absolutely nothing wrong by hanging out with a variety of people, single or not, dancers or not. And the fact that he did nothing wrong does not change even if you believe he is in a relationship. Please don’t equate sex-industry clubs with cheating because that sort of thinking leads to dangerous attitudes that pass blame on to the people who work in those industries.
If you want to pass judgement on Rami and cancel the happy, positive, weird, loving vibe of his fandom, you need to take your thoughts elsewhere.

Jelousy anon here! Sorry for not explaining myself better. For both of them I meant to Sweeney reaction and behaviour while they were talking with the Baron and Briggite. I was surprised with his behaviour... (Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I love reading all your posts!)
Ahh, gotcha! No, no, it was me. And thank you to @thatluckybird for clarifying as well! :) Aieee, thank you so much! I’m just glad you’re enjoying the blog!
So, I think the reason why I kinda blanked on your ask before was because I guess I interpreted his actions at first as more protective or possessive than jealous, but upon re-watching, I completely agree that jealousy is there in spades, especially as he realizes that part of this “compact” may also involve Baron cozying up his girl.
To make matters worse, Laura seems to have a bit of thirst for Baron, which is tragically ironic since just hours before, HE was the one cozying up to a woman with the intent to make Laura jealous, and now here he is being the jealous one. What a reversal of fortune, huh? Also, here’s a fun game of “what if?” - what if Sweeney never tried to make her jealous earlier? We know Sweeney has no clue on Laura’s buried feelings for him, but if he hadn’t done that and instead stuck around and hung out with her and you know, actually try to BUILD chemistry like when they were walking over to Coq Noir, would that have affected things here? When Neil said we were getting a soap opera, he really meant it, because this is that classic case of two people who make wrongheaded assumptions when they should just TALK to each other, but can’t because the scariest thing to do when you like someone is laying out your heart for them and risk getting it broken.
So, all Sweeney can do is just watch this unexpected nightmare unfold. I agree that his behavior was surprising, too, and in just how strong the show wants us to see Sweeney’s discomfort during this scene - there is a veritable roll call of very anxious reaction shots…like, SO MANY. I counted, cos you know, sCIEnce, and there are 8 (!) shots of him looking pained once the conversation turns a bit more serious. You really start to get the sense that he’s actually kinda regretting bringing up New Orleans in the first place, lucky coin be damned. He really looks that tortured. I also appreciate the show going pretty hard in detailing how painful this whole experience is for him, because the show clearly thought that 2-3 shots of Sweeney looking like he wants to drown himself in a vat of SoCo wasn’t enough. “Yes, yes, pile it on!” - the editor, who probably ships Madwife too.
But if there’s one moment that highlights his remorse best is when he’s asked to leave Baron and Laura alone to their devices, and it’s amazing to witness the whirlwind of emotions on his face from this one-take shot (I had to make a picspam):
And we can’t forget this one last look he throws at Laura before joining Brigitte outside to drink his sadness away. This shot hurts my heart. Sweeney’s playing it cool, maybe trying to make it look like he’s not leaving anything behind, but we all know he’s lingering to give her the chance, hoping against hope, that she’d stop, turn to him and say, “Wait…stay.” *sniffles* And Laura - not even a second glance. :(
Last thing cos this is getting too long now: while there’s definitely romantic jealousy at work here, I kinda also think there’s just a bit of jealousy that comes from seeing Laura so game here and playing along with the Samedis. It’s a similar vibe to what happened in 2.03 when Sweeney tried to convince Laura not to go with Wednesday. It’s not that Sweeney wants Laura’s undivided attention, but I think it’s rather that he wants Laura to give him that same sort of open-mindedness and trust and belief in the things that HE offers, but is often met with resistance or skepticism - from the existence of conceptual abstracts of which he’s built on like “luck” to the value of things that HE values like vows and lucky coins to his ideas/plans on solving a problem. I think it’s partly why Sweeney looked a bit chuffed when Laura showed up in New Orleans because it was acknowledgement that she bought into his idea and subsequent faith placed on his feet to follow through.
And even though it’s not the first time Laura’s made him feel good in this way, it’s getting trickier because he’s “gone on the dead girl” now, and depending on Laura to be reliable is probably not the safest bet (right now). So much of that faith and belief has to come from himself if he truly wants change. And I hope we get to see him do that soon, anon. :)

On to our next stop, it’s time to recharge ourselves after experiencing a one of a kind gastronomical trip with Jin! Through Suga‘s recommendations we will find the best healing spots in Seoul.
Shall we look around and find somewhere to relax? Let’s go! It’s time for Suga’s ‘Recharge‘ Seoul Tour now!
#1 Starfield Library (COEX Mall)
Starfield Library, which is at the heart of COEX Mall in Gangnam, Seoul, is a space open to the public where locals and tourists can come to read books and rest. Lots of books of various genres line the many tall shelves of the library, which you can take your time reading. Good news is, the library is free. You don’t have to pay to get in. What’s more is that being inside is like entering another world (I was once there and can’t take my eyes off the tall shelves and enormous book collection!). It’s so fascinating that taking a picture is a must!
Location: B1, 513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul Open Hours: 10:30 – 22:00 Website: www.starfield.co.kr
#2 Cheonggyecheon Stream
With a very long history down from Joseon Dynasty, Cheonggyecheon Stream has been restored over time to become comfort to those in the city. The stream divides up the districts of Jongno-gu and Jung-gu and acts as a public rest area for everyone where performances are welcomed for passing visitors to watch. It is a very good place to walk along at night with your family, friends or your significant other while enjoying the fascinating illumination that lines up the stream.
Location: Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul Website: http://www.sisul.or.kr/open_content/cheonggye/
#3 Jimjilbang
Jimjilbang (or Hanjeungmak) are definitely famous to Korean drama lovers, since we all know how well utilized such locations are by K-drama characters. I’ve grown up only seeing them in front of my screen, but a fan must never miss it out! So, if you’re heading to Seoul in your next out of the country trip, be sure to visit it.
These Korean bathhouses are actually famous for its traditional kiln saunas, but nowadays they have also come with other facilities such as internet cafes, theaters, internet cafes, bowling alleys and restaurants, making them famous to people of all ages. As you get in, you will be given a change of clothes to be worn indoors. Sweating out in their sauna is definitely a good way of getting rid of the tiredness of your body and mind, but taking a sip of sikhye (sweet rice punch) is a must to quench your thirst afterwards!
Location: 39-2 Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul (Jamsil Suyang Hanjeungmak w/c is in Suga’s Seoul Tour video) Website: www.suyang.kr
#4 Seoullo 7017
What used to be a highway overpass that was about to be demolished has been transformed into a pedestrian walkway in Korea–Seoullo 7017. It’s the first one of its kind in Korea, which takes inspiration from New York’s High Line. What makes it unique and a true masterpiece is that the sky garden takes pride at it’s innovative design. At night, it is being lit up by LED lights hanging from 1,121 poles through the length of Seoullo 7017 that connects together 17 pathways, adding a truly magical vibe to the area.
You won’t regret visiting Seoullo 7017. That’s for sure. It is truly a magical place from my memory, since I was there in 2017. Back then, though, I was just aimlessly walking and wasn’t sure where I ended up, so it took me a long time to find a way down. That’s funny, but I tell you, the ambiance is so mesmerizing you’d definitely get lost in it while there.
Fun fact: Seoullo 7017’s name is derived from its founding year 1970 and the idea that it’s connecting together 17 pathways.
Location: 432 Cheongpa-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul Open Hours: Apr to Oct – 9AM-9PM; Nov to Mar – 9AM-8PM | (Closed during Monday) Website: seoullo7017.seoul.go.kr
#5 Some Sevit (Sebitseom Island)

Some Sevit (Sebitseom Island), which literally means ‘three shining island’ (‘se’ = three; ‘bit’ = light/shine; ‘seom’ = island), is the world’s first floating cultural space. It is made up of four artificial islands (Some Gavit, Some Chavit, Some Solvit and Some Yevit), which can hold various performances, exhibitions or events. Some Sevit’s night scene that’s illuminated by LED lights as it floats at the edge of Han River has become pretty popular that it has been utilized to some famous dramas like ‘She Was Pretty’ and ‘Athene’, as well as the movie ‘Avengers 2’.
In Suga’s TVC, we also see a boating activity called ‘Tubester’, which is available near Some Sevit. This is a must-try activity since it’s truly going to be a very good experience for visitors where they can enjoy eating while floating in the water and talking with their friends or family! Enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Han River through them!
Location: 683 Olympic-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul Website: www.somesevit.co.kr
*Han River Some Sevit Tubester Open Hours are below: – (Apr-May/Oct-Nov) Weekday (Mon-Fri) 15:00 – 23:00, Weekend & Holidays 13:00 – 23:00 – (Jun-Sept) Weekday (Mon-Fri) 16:00 – 24:00, Weekend & Holidays 14:00 – 24:00
#6 Seoul Botanic Garden
Seoul Botanic Garden is the city’s first botanical park that officially opened last May 1, 2019. Located in Magok, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, the park boasts of how a forest, garden, lake and marsh coexist together. Visitors will enjoy the park’s theme zone, which houses plants that represents 12 major cities in the world. Currently, these plants range from around 3,100 types which they will later expand to at least 8,000 types to actively promote exchange, research and propagation.
The Seoul Botanic Garden (Park) was built to create an advancement to the urban ecology of Seoul. And as a city that’s appreciated for its modern yet close to nature ambiance, this is the city’s effort in expanding their green spaces that a lot love. So, if you’re someone that appreciates nature and would want to unwind or relax despite being in the city, I think this is the perfect escape for you.
Location: 07789 161 Magokdong-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Korea By subway: Magongnaru Station (subway line 9, AREX) exit 3
Open Hours: – Park (Open Forest, Lake Zone, Marsh Zone) – open 24 hours – Botanical Garden (Theme Zone) 9AM to 6PM During Holidays: – Park (Open Forest, Lake Zone, Marsh Zone): Open all year round – Botanical Garden (Theme Zone): Closed during kMonday
#7 Nanji Riverside Swimming Pool
If you want to cool down yourself but really doesn’t want to go out of the city just to experience that one of a kind relaxation you’ve been craving for, then why not try the water parks by the Han River?
In particular, a crowd favorite out of many water parks by the Han River is the Nanji Hangang Water Park due to the availability of an infinity pool where you can have a nice view of the Han River right in front of you. It was also constructed with a relatively shallow depth (at least around 80cm) to remind people of how they used to play in the water by the riverside. This is also a good way of creating a really family friendly place who wants to come with their children.
Location: Nanji Hangang Information Center, 162 Hangang Nanji-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul Open Hours: 9AM to 7PM Admission: Free for children under 5 years of age / Children 1,000 won / Teenagers 2,000 won / Adults 3,000 won Website: http://hangang.seoul.go.kr/
#8 Gyeongui Line Forest Park

The final stop for our healing trip is down the Gyeongui Line Forest Park in Mapo-gu, Seoul, which is a rising attraction to a lot of visitors.
This forest park used to be where the Gyeongui railway line was until it was moved underground. It dates back to roughly 100 years until today when over the railway (which now rests underground) finally sits its crowning glory–a line of pure green and nature, which is very accessible to visitors since its length rests in the center of Seoul, So, it’s really a good place for walks while trying to appreciate nature in the middle of an urbanized area. Like a breath of fresh air among the tall buildings of the city. Hongdae and Yeonnam-dong are also just along the park, so after a fun stroll, why not explore them for food, music, and many other trendy art forms?
Location: Areas of Yeonnam-dong and Daeheung-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul (서울특별시 마포구 연남동 및 대흥동) Directions: Hongik Univ. Station (Seoul Subway Line 2, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, Airport Railroad), Exit 3. Walk approx. 7-8 min.
–
Done! Finally. I thought I’m not going to be able to finish this posts today since I added more information to try and match what was in the TVC, but I really had fun researching about it so I got inspiration by the facts and pictures I’ve read and seen. It makes me want to go to Seoul right now to try out the various places I’ve been telling a story about in my blog. I really want to go there if I can. You know that kind of feeling? That strong urge to check off something from your bucket list? Yeah. That feeling. It makes me excited and really look forward to the future.
But for now, I’m ending this post here! See you in the next post, which will then showcase J-hopes recommendations in Seoul!

FMP initial ideas & research: human connection
I tried to think of more concepts, ideas, and topics that I find intriguing or interesting. One of them is the idea of “connection” whether it’s between human and human, human and animals, or animals and animals. Humans naturally want to connect and are social beings, and this connection happens when people communicate. And this act of communicating is very closely link to our course Graphic Design Communication where the aim is to communicate ideas through graphic and visual ways.
Communication occurs through and in language, art, music, films, etc. I’m interested in how feelings and experiences are something that is shared universally, that someone you have never met in real life can be someone that you feel like understands you and knows you better than anyone that knows or has known you in person in real life. Connection is also something that is beyond the physical aspects of being human. That meaning that when you feel connected to someone (a person or an animal/pet), you just feel it and know it and recognize that emotion so strongly even though it’s not something that is physical and tangible. That type of connection is something you and the other human or nonhuman animal mutually share, and I think that’s something very fascinating and incredible.
Another subject that I touched upon earlier on in my research is about empathy and compassion, being able to feel and understand what others are feeling and/or going through. I think compassion and empathy are one of the most important and valuable traits a person can have or built on, because if you have a compassionate heart and can feel for others, that would make you a much more understanding, caring, and open-minded person when you utilize your skills and values to help others. And I also think that in our society, in our world not just today but for a long long time, there is so much cruelty and bad things happening, and we could all really benefit from people being more compassionate and loving, and I think it’s an important message to share.
The idea of connection and it being something that is not physical or tangible leads to the concept of “abstraction”, things that are intangible (but still real and existing), and something that is felt and understood from within but cannot be seen or held. Some examples of this would be the red string of fate (in which it is a belief that you have a soulmate and you are connected by a red string that would eventually bring you together) and the idea and saying where people say you are “on the same wavelength” as someone, meaning that you are on a same or similar level of understanding, and you “get” each other.
I read an article called “When two souls collide: the power of human connection” by Cynthia Marinakos (https://medium.com/the-mission/when-two-souls-collide-the-power-of-human-connection-b467b6462c08) and a few quotes really stood out to me:
“Whether we realize it or not, we all want to connect. To be understood. To feel less alone in this world.”
“There’s a vibe, an aura, surrounding each of us. It’s not physical. It’s on another level. It’s the essence of who we are. What we are. And the journeys that have brought us here.”
“There’s something so special meeting someone else on this same wavelength. Not many words need to be spoken. It’s felt. And when words are spoken, each word confirms the connection is real.”
And in another article “Dimensions of Human Connection: People, Pets, and Prayers. Humans draw upon diverse sources for relationship opportunities.” by John T. Cacioppo (https://www.psychologytoday.com/gb/blog/connections/200907/dimensions-human-connection-people-pets-and-prayers) some of the important takeaways were the following:
According to Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, relational and belonging needs are superseded in importance only by survival and safety needs.
Just as hunger and thirst motivate the search for food and water, the pain of unmet social needs (i.e., felt social isolation) motivates a search for social reconnection.
Mental representations of feelings of social connectedness are multi-faceted.
Quantitative analyses have revealed three dimensions along which people feel socially connected, and this structure was evident in young as well as middle-age adults and was the same across ethnicities.
Intimate Connectedness, reflects satisfaction of the social self at a deeply personal level, and was uniquely associated with marital status.
Relational Connectedness reflects satisfaction of close friendship needs and was uniquely associated with frequency of contact with close friends and relatives.
Collective Connectedness reflects satisfaction of the need to belong to a meaningful group and was uniquely associated with number of memberships in voluntary groups.
People form and maintain social connections with non-human beings. Pets and religious entities, for instance, are commonly considered sources of security and belonging.
Just as the quality of interpersonal relationships influences the degree of felt belonging or loneliness, the quality of the human-pet relationship appears to moderate the experience of security and belonging afforded pet owners.
The versatility with which humans access diverse sources of relationship opportunities suggests that relationship satisfaction is more than just satisfaction with human connections but involves an overall sense of connectedness that encompasses a wide array of relationship domains.

Third Blog Entry: Know Thyself
Part I: Myers Briggs Type Indicator
- Do you agree or disagree with the test results? Why?
I found the test results funny because of how accurate I think they are. I almost completely agree with the results. I am more intuitive rather than sensory because I am rarely content with the facts, no matter how cramped a solution could be I always think of a way to go outside the box and look at the bigger picture. I feel rather than think, although I do overthink, I could think of a million possible more probable solutions but when I don’t think it is right I would rather do what is best for my gut. I perceive rather than judge, no clever reason, I just find planning too much of a drag and a bore that I tend to forget it and just adjust to whatever I can manage on the spot. One thing I don’t agree with the test is how I am introverted as opposed to being extroverted. I see this to be a common error. I actually do love being around people and interacting with people it’s just that I lack the social cues to do so. Since I lack these social cues I tend be selective with whom I interact with which brings of the introverted vibe.
- Do the recommended careers appeal to you? Why/Why not?
The recommended careers are another thing I found funny. They are the careers I actually want. Business Management was never in my choices, it was the choices directed to me because of how it would lead to a “better life.” Business management was seen as a means for me to get a stable job. The courses appeal to me and I feel as though those are the fields wherein I can excel the most. I need to create and be free to do projects. I have stories I want to tell and share visually with other people. The careers presented in the recommended careers are what speaks to me most.
- How will the knowledge of your personality type help you to become a successful business leader?
In the earlier business eras I feel that my personality type would be a disadvantage for most companies. In the modern business era i feel that my personality type would thrive because of how this era adjusts to those people who are open-minded, creative and flexible. I would acknowledge these personality traits by providing a free environment for my colleagues and subordinates to work in. I will also allow room for error to not pressure and degrade the emotional health of my colleagues and subordinates. I will welcome new ideas from anybody I interact with.
Part I: Big 5 (OCEAN)
- How does your introversion/extroversion level compare across these 2 tests? Do you agree with the results? Why/why not?
The levels of the 2 tests remain constant showing the same result of introvertedness. I kind of disagree with the results. Same as the earlier test I am outgoing and social but just with people I already know and have built a relationship with. I lack the social cues to make new relationships but I tent to be very engaged with the ones I currently have.
- Based on the definition of each trait, how would you describe yourself?
Based on each trait the test prescribed me, I would describe myself as an introvert who can manage their emotions fairly, optimistic, impulsive and open to experience.
- In your view, are the results of your MBTI and Big 5 tests consistent? Why/why not?
Yes I believe that the 2 tests are consistent because they more or less have the same descriptions of me as a person in a way that I am introverted, emotionally average, optimistic, follow my gut, intuitive, loose and open to new experiences.
- Does this test give you additional insights into your personality traits, in addition to those you discovered in your MBTI results? Why/why not?
In addition to the MBTI results this test did give me additional insights into my personality traits. The MBTI was a good base of what my personality is, I feel that the Big 5 test just gave finer detail to the results of the MBTI.
Part II: R-I-A-S-E-C Profile
- Is the definition of each characteristic in the R-I-A-S-E-C profile consistent with what you know about yourself? Why or why not?
From what I know about myself the R-I-A-S-E-C profile defined my characteristics consistently. My 3 highest scores were that of realistic, artistic and enterprising which are significantly higher than those of the 3 lowest scores which include investigative, social and conventional. I scored highest in the arts because I just love creating things, I’m very imaginative and I love how it comes together. My second highest trait was realism which I think just stems from my thirst to create. I love seeing how things are built which is why I love deconstructing and repairing things just to see what they are made of. Lastly enterprising, at the end of the day I would love to own my own business. The latter 3 traits in summary are just activities I don’t enjoy as much as the others.
- Do any of the suggested jobs fitting your R-I-A-S-E-C profile interest you? Why or why not? Which of the suggested jobs do you think you are capable of doing, based on the level of preparation prescribed in the O*Net profiler?
The job suggestions that interest me the most were the art director and the graphic designer. These are both jobs I feel that I am capable of doing which is also reflected in the O*Net profiler. The art director appeals to my thirst to create my visions in my imagination while the graphic designer appeals to my want to be the one to create my vision.
- Do you think you will have a fulfilling career if you take one of the suggested jobs in your profile? Why or why not?
I think that I would have a fulfilling career being either an art director or a graphic designer. Aside from the O*Net profiler sorting me to these jobs I believe that these jobs are most in line with my wants and passion and with the skills I am actually good at. It will quench my desire to create and at the same time allow me to express myself through my works.
- Do you agree with the comparison between your level of introversion/extroversion to your R-I-A-S-E-C profile? Why or why not?
I do agree with the comparison between the levels of my introversion and extroversion. As stated earlier I am energized with the presence of people, it is just that i lack the skills to execute this, because of which I feed of the energy of my friends, family and anyone I have already gained a relationship with. My 3 highest traits scores are that of realistic which is found close to introversion, artistic which is in the middle and enterprising which is found close to extroversion. These 3 together form a perfect mix of what I feel like best describes my level of introversion and extroversion. A little bit of both and median at the same time.
Part III: SelfStir 360 Assessment
- What did you learn about yourself by doing the SelfStir assessment?
I learned that I am a very transparent person with people I am close with and a very closed off person with the people I am not close with. In addition to this I also learned through the SelfStir assessment that I do reflect my personal views of myself to other people.
- What is your greatest strength and your greatest weakness? Did these traits surprise you? Or are you already aware of them?
My greatest strength is how I can think logically and creatively in situations while my weakness is being able to actively communicate with people whom I do not share a close relationship with. These traits didn’t surprise me because I was already aware of them.
- What do you think about other people’s rating of you? Are you surprised to learn about their impression of you? Or are you already aware of the image you project to the world?
I think their rating of me is fair, I wasn’t surprised because I believe i breathe to the world the image I have of myself.
- How important is a 360 assessment in the workplace?
A 360 assessment is essential in the workplace so that an individual can know how they interact with different people and how those people react to the traits that the individual puts off.
- How can this assessment help you become an effective leader?
This assesment can help me become an effective leader by providing me with the strengths I need to know to maintain and also with the weaknesses so i know what to improve on.

Zermatt’s top 5 après ski bars
After an exhilarating day on the mountain many feel the need to celebrate their efforts by letting their hair down and slaking their thirst with a cheeky beer or three, hence the popularity of apres-ski. A perfect day’s skiing should include a spot of apres-ski. Zermatt has many fine apres-ski bars where you can do just that. Let’s paaaartay!!!
Hennu Stall
While skiing down the lower section of the Furi-Zermatt slope you’ll probably hear the pumping house beats or the Hennu Stall house band giving it some. Like wasps round a jam jar, you’ll next see the happy throng bobbing up and down on the terrace. This is party central and one of Zermatt’s liveliest and some would say craziest apres-ski bars. Dancing on the tables is par for the course and many a ski suit has been cast skyward as some over enthusiastic crazy has decided to strip down to his Calvin Kleins and beyond. Fancy dress is often seen here, with anything from Captain Chaos to Buzz Lightyear throwing shapes on the dance floor. You don’t have to join in, of course, you can just watch from a distance and enjoy the shenanigans, albeit wearing a face splitting grin. The fun is infectious, aided of course by the consumption of a beer, gluwein or a cheeky Jägermeister.
A novelty here is an old ski made into a drinks tray, usually lined up with Jägermeister shots. Jägermeister’s ingredients include 56 herbs, fruits, roots, and spices, including citrus peel, licorice, anise, poppy seeds, saffron, ginger, juniper berries and ginseng. These ingredients are ground, then steeped in water and alcohol for 2–3 days. Afterwards, this mixture is filtered and stored in oak barrels for about a year. When a year has passed, the liqueur is filtered again, then mixed with sugar, caramel, alcohol and water. It is filtered one last time and then bottled. Contrary to an urban legend, Jägermeister doesn’t contain deer or elk blood but it is bottled rocket fuel and at 35% proof you’ll soon be flying after you’ve necked a couple of these bad boys.
Hennu Stall can be reached easily on foot from Zermatt in 30 minutes, or you can take the Klein bubble up to Furi and then ski or walk down. It is virtually impossible to spend a skiing holiday in Zermatt without getting to know about Hennu Stall and it’s legendary status.
Cervo
If you’re coming down the mountain on the Sunnegga side your first port of call should be the Cervo. This is a stunning venue set amongst the snow dusted pines. The Cervo is a hotel first and foremost which boasts a large outside terrace for a spot of apres-ski. The Cervo is situated in a delightful spot, on the side of the piste and après-ski is part of the Cervo lifestyle and concept which they boast is the most sophisticated in the Alps.
With different bands and DJ’s the entertainment is varied and lively and the setting couldn’t be better. If you want a more refined apres-ski experience the Cervo, with it’s cigar room and selection of local beers is the place for you. Less raucous than the Henna Stall, the Cervo offers a more dignified experience. Being a hotel, the apres-ski winds up early but you can summon an electric taxi or ask for the code to the private lift that will deposit you in town so you can party on.
Snowboat
And you’ll want to continue the party in the Snowboat, which is actually in town. This enchanting and unique boat-shaped building by the river is home to the Snowboat Bar and Yacht Club Restaurant. The venue was designed by local legend, Heinz Julen. His projects are talked about in reverential tones and attract a lot of interest worldwide. The Snowboat is a lively venue serving après-ski drinks and wholesome à la carte as well as exquisite cocktails made with premium spirits, fresh ingredients and lots of love.
The Snowboat is legendary in Zermatt and a favourite haunt of the locals, who obviously have insider knowledge and know all the best places. The Snowboat is a more sophisticated apres-ski venue, a virtue it shares with the Cervo. Gee, the owner has another place in town, The Cuckoo Club, that stays open well into the early hours, 4 O’Clock in fact. Getting up the next morning to catch the early lifts might be tricky but you’re guaranteed a great vibe and a hospitality that makes both the Snowboat and the Cuckoo popular and packed most nights.
Harry’s Bar
In 1902, Harry’s grandad, Alois Biner, built a chicken shack and well into the 1960s, it was used to keep grandma’s chickens. I must say grandma surely had a lot of chickens, although not a big place for an apres ski bar it’s a huge space for chickens, in fact the space was occasionally lived in. Now, over a century later, it has been rebuilt and refurbished as a genuine skiers’ bar by Harry Lauber and his son Fabian. I don’t think the chickens are very happy about this turn of events. Being chickens they don’t even get squatters rights.
Harry’s is a quaint little bar in centre of Zermatt, right beside ski bus stop. Whether you’re dancing, singing, partying, flirting or listening to pop songs of questionable taste, Harry’s Bar is the hotspot for snow sports enthusiasts, hikers and bikers alike. There’s a good atmosphere day and night. The staff are friendly staff, the music might be a bit dodgy, that’s subjective of course but don’t let it put you off, after a couple of shots I guess you’ll be past caring anyway. You don’t have to be a skier or snow boarder to enjoy the vibe in this delightful little bar. Visited on a week-night, the bar can be pretty empty but it’s buzzing and gets really packed in late afternoons and early evenings. There’s a heated patio outside for the overspill from the inside. This is a good place to people watch and enjoy the shenanigans of the happy, shiny people who frequent Harry’s.
Paperla Pub
Open 365 days a year, you know the place is popular by the amount of ski’s propped up outside the bar. Live music, DJs, a cosmopolitan crowd and a crew that encourages a great atmosphere and a spontaneous party mood are all the ingredients you want for an apres-ski party. In winter, après-ski starts daily around 4 pm. Those who like hot drinks can celebrate with Jägertee and mulled wine on the terrace. Or settle into the warm interior of the Irish pub style bar and catch the vibe.
Stu and Ronnie are the bars resident fire starters. They never seem to get tired of whipping the crowd into a frenzy with jolly japes and drinking games. They can often be seen cavorting atop the bar egging each other on to even more outrageous dares. It’s a lot of fun and as cabaret goes, it’s certainly original. Stu and Ronnie have become good friends of mine and they never stop with the fun, even on their rare nights off they are party starters. They are a couple of naturals and the Paperla Pub owes it’s legendary status to their never ending good humour.

The 2018 Summer Denver Whiskey Festival was a Success and We’re Thirsty for the Next Spirits Festival
Hey Denver, how do you like to spend your summertime Saturday afternoons?
We know, we know; hiking up mountains, putting miles after miles on the bike, maybe even climbing some rock…but come ‘on, everybody needs a little balance! How about trying over a dozen incredible whiskeys, including some top distilleries local to Denver? That’s where Social Scene’s 2018 Summer Whiskey Festival at LoDo’s Highlands Ranch comes in. Lodo’s has more than 50 big screen HDTVs to broadcast sporting events and its iconic rooftop is one of the best spots to view the majesty and the beauty of the Colorado Rockies, as well as the amazing Mile High City sights.
Perched on a sunny patio overlooking the Denver skyline, an excited crowd gathered around to share a fun afternoon of music, tasty snacks, and, of course cheersing our thirst-quenching quarter shots of Whiskey! The vibe was friendly, and all the reps were excited to share the story behind their spirits. We never felt rushed to move on, or that we couldn’t hang out and ask questions. At the same time, the next taster was never far away. We came away from the 2018 Denver Whiskey Tasting Festival feeling like we drank the perfect amount, not enough to get hammered, but we were certainly calling that Uber to the next spot (Seriously, be safe out there Denver, don’t drink and drive)!
While we couldn’t go wrong with any of the selection, there were 2 strong standouts, the first being Weaver’s Spirits out of Loveland, Colorado.
It was a legendary 2,800 mile road trip across America that was the catalyst for Weaver’s Spirits. During that sizzling summer, a father and son duo, Matt and Ray Weaver, started to get a little thirsty and pulled off at a dusty watering hole and ordered a straight shot of whiskey in a dirty glass. After indulging in their first cowboy moment, and effectively quenching their thirst with that delicious shot of authentic Whiskey, they rode off into the sunset with the defining moment which would later become Weaver’s Spirits. Many years and rations later, Weaver’s was created.
Upon tasting, we noticed a well-balanced, nutty and fruity aroma. Weaver’s may be light, but packs a punch. Perfect for sipping over ice on a lazy weekend afternoon on the porch and soaking up some stunning Colorado views.
Matt and Ray Weaver may know how to craft some serious Whiskey, but also how to have a good time! “Weaver’s Spirits is a family business here in Colorado that started with a passion for celebrating good times together with great spirits. As a local Colorado business, we are always excited to support local events that bring folks together to sample and learn about the very thing that we’ve built our business on (and our favorite libation) – whiskey! Social Scene does an excellent job coordinating the seasonal whiskey festivals, bringing a wide selection of whiskies to the people in popular local venues here in the Denver area. With so many excellent whiskies at the 2018 Summer Whiskey Festival, we are very proud to be selected by OnDenver.com as a stand out whiskey from this event! Thank you very much for enjoying our whiskey as much as we do! Cheers and let the good times roll!” – The Weaver Family, “Details Matter.”
Our next standout at the 2018 Summer Denver Whiskey Tasting Festival was Branch and Barrel. Headquartered just down the road in Centennial, CO, Branch and Barrel is a small-batch, handcrafted distiller who is known for their pure, smooth tasting bourbon. Their knowledgeable on-site rep, Gunnar, was able to walk us through the Branch & Barrel story in detail, and we were hooked.
The story goes like this… The B&B founders were working in Boulder, CO when they decided it could be a hell lot of fun to make an authentic whiskey in their spare time. They fashioned an old water heater into a still, and began to fiddle with different recipes. After many fruitless attempts, they found a formula that worked. Once successfully distilling a delicious white spirit, they turned to using cuttings from backyard tree branches to flavor their liquor, and stored them in mason jars. Hence the name ‘Branch & Barrel’. After presenting their creation to close friends and family, they received the seal of approval and were encouraged to scale-up production and turn Branch & Barrel into a successful business, “using the same distilling process they used when America was just a glint in our founding father’s eye.”
Gunnar of Branch & Barrel truly enjoyed the Denver Summer Whiskey Festival. “The attendees were fun, inquisitive and honest. I felt proud to present a grain-to-glass Colorado Whiskey to the community. People were passionate about supporting local farmers, water providers, designers and distillers who had come together to create Branch & Barrel Whiskey! We at Branch & Barrel would be honored to continue representing and engaging with locals at the next event this winter.”
Social Scene Events
William Holdeman, (Social Scene President and Co Founder), Tamika Carlton, (Social Scene National Experiential Manager), and many members of the Social Scene team coordinated locally and remotely to produce a successful and engaging event. The Social Scene team was excited to offer an opportunity to connect local Whiskey aficionados, devotees and novices. In doing so, they effectively created a platform to build relationships with like-minded individuals and encouraged lasting memories for attendees.
The OnDenver.com team looks forward to attending future Denver spirits Festivals coordinated by Social Scene.
You can expect more exciting local spirits brands at the upcoming Summer Tequila Tasting Festival in Denver on July 21st. We’ll see you there!

Scratching The Map One Place At A Time: My Travel Map
Did you know?
An average Britisher has visited seven countries outside of the UK in his or her life.
And 86% of Indian households never take a trip.
And by that standard, I am considered a globetrotter in my circle and by my readers. However, when I started putting down my travel stories in Tripadvisor and rating places I was visiting, I realized that I had travelled only 10% of the world.
Like any typical Indian tourist, my travel journey started by covering Asia first and only then did I think of going beyond.
Somewhere in between my thirst for travel grew larger, the exposure became better and I became a traveller who looked beyond destination travelling, marking selfies at tourist spots and started digging for experiences.
In this post, I have jotted down bits of my travel journey. These are the places where I have created many memories which I am going to cherish for life. Two things I would like to reiterate here is; always be on guard if travelling solo, research and pick up safe places for women and always buy overseas travel insurance. You never know when you might need it. Travel to explore and if these things are sorted most stress is left behind.
NEPAL
I travelled to Nepal last year to trek to the Everest Base Camp which had been on my bucket list forever. I trekked for fourteen days and most of my beautiful memories are of the stunning landscapes of Labouche and Gorakshep (small settlements that you cross on the trip) and, of course, of the sister mountains Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse. I did a little bit of sightseeing in Kathmandu also but, unsurprisingly, the trek was the more stunning part of my trip. You can read here to know all about the trek and my experience.
JAPAN
Japan is one of the best places I have ever visited and is closest to my heart. Some of the experiences which one can have in Japan are soaking in the healing waters at an Onsen, learn about their Japanese culture during the tea ceremony dressed in a Kimono, fill your taste buds by having matcha flavoured ice creams, cakes, noodles and so much more. You can try the Ramen bowls there and visit their maid cafes! Who says Japan can be expensive? Live at the pod hotels, also known as capsule hotels, to handle your budget. How can we forget Mt. Fuji, it is just too beautiful! Just make sure you plan your trip to Japan during the Cherry Blossom Season. There are many other places to visit when in Japan, so ensure you plan well and make your trip a memorable one because Japan is beautiful!
CAPE TOWN
At the southernmost tip of the continent
Capetown is a place full of scenic beauty, beautiful atmosphere and good people. When at Capetown you can look for sightseeing at the following places among others: Aquila Safari, The Table mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Robben Island, and Stellenbosch. You can also take a visit to the Simonstown and greet the Penguins and the Seals there. You can also opt for some water sports activities so as to get closer to them (Keynote: Penguins are cute from far and dangerous from nearby). It’s a beautiful place to explore with the sea, mountain, wineries and city life all enrolled in one. This place will leave you content with a bunch of memories.
EUROPE
Paris: Ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted to visit the fashion capital of the world. When I did get to Paris last year with my family, Paris turned out to be way more than the stories of romance, Eiffel tower, and fashion make it. It is a modern city that has history embedded in every corner and, trust me, it’s nothing short of a paradise!
This one needs no Introduction
Amsterdam: Can be rated as one of the friendliest cities in Europe. There is a certain vibe in the city that is very infectious. Visiting Anne Frank’s house in the city, and just walking around the city square was one of my favourite experiences. I found the Red light area walking tour also very interesting. The kids enjoyed Ripley’s Believe It or Not A Museum, Keukenhoff, Microbes museum and evening cruise in the canal soaking in the Amsterdam lights and views.
The Famous Amsterdam Redlight Area
Berlin: I was very impressed with the city and the food. Berlin is one of the most reasonably priced cities in Europe. Unlike what I had heard, the Germans were friendly and helpful folks. You walk through history while walking past any street in Berlin and the pages turn back. You go through the city experiencing the reign and terror of Hitler. It’s odd seeing his Chancellory quarters and his bunker site, which is not even marked as Germans want to forget him. There are memorials of millions who died because of him all over the city. Jewish Synagogue, the post office, memorials, Holocaust all give you goosebumps. You can also enter a real bunker which was built to be used in case of a nuclear attack and still stands intact, unused.
At the Hello Charlie point
SINGAPORE
Singapore makes for a perfect family getaway. Places to visit when in Singapore include the Singapore Zoo, Sentosa Island, Universal Studios, Gardens by the bay and many more. This city is a complete package deal as it is close to India, has adventurous spots along with a buzzing city life!
The Universal Studios, Singapore
HONG KONG
The city of seven lakes surrounded by picturesque mountains, Hong Kong is also a bustling cosmopolitan. Laden with many theme parks and Disneyland, it makes for a perfect family outing. You can take the Historical tram to the top from where you can glance at the whole Hong Kong. Then there is Macau, which is known for gaming and its casinos, but there are some other things as well which you can opt for at Macau like House of Dancing waters, Dream works experience, Macau Towers and so much more.
Disneyland at HongKong
MALAYSIA
When in Malaysia, the places you can visit there are Langkawi, Genting Highlands, Batu Caves, Legolands etc! Malaysia is all about beautiful beaches, water sports, and scenic beauty so just go there and relax!
The Berjaya Resort, Langkawi
MAURITIUS
It is an island full of tropical plants and beautiful beaches. I also celebrated my last birthday there. If you love beaches and water sports, then this place is absolutely perfect for you.
Enjoying the water sports at Mauritius
ICELAND
I have always been a beach person but after visiting Iceland I have turned into a mountain person as well. When in Iceland, you can opt for trekking the way I did, or else you can go for exploring this beautiful place through the amazing experiences like getting into a glacier, Whale watching, watch Natural Geysers, Experience Geothermal spa, visit the Black Sand Beach etc. Do visit Iceland once in your life, it is worth it!
Trekking in Iceland
LAS VEGAS AND GRAND CANYON
A paradise for all the ones who love clubbing, drinking and gambling at the casinos. But No, that’s not the only thing Vegas is meant for. You should also visit the Grand Canyon, The ‘O’ Show, one can book any speed cars and Limo’s if you wish to. You could get this within 100$! There are many other spots to visit when in Vegas, wishing to go back there soon someday so as to take those places off my bucket list!
Grand Canyon Trip from Las Vegas
SAN FRANCISO
I visited SF in 2016 and I can’t get the sight of the Golden Gate Bridge out of my memories. While it’s red and not Golden, it is magnanimous and just stunning. Most people with families choose to stay in the suburbs due to the affordability of larger housing. I loved shopping in SF as it’s full of deals and since this was my first visit to the US, I had no idea that the stuff you can buy in the US is cheaper than any part of the world that I have been too. Especially loved the outlet malls for branded clothing, bags and sunglasses.
In a tram near the Golden Gate Bridge
NEW YORK
New York feels like my home city as it is just like Mumbai! Well, this was a very short trip but I almost covered all the places which were on my list: the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State building, the Central Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Statue of liberty and the Times Square. I hope to go back someday and spend some more time there.
The Times Square
DUBAI and ABU DHABI:
The sand dunes and tall buildings with the luxurious lifestyle are the best parts of Dubai. It has some really good spots to visit like The Palms and the Jumeirah road where you can find five to seven-star hotels and the best collection of cars. Then there is the Dubai Mall, Emirates Mall, Gold Souk, breathtaking monuments like Burj Khalifa, Skyscrapers, and even beaches. The desert safari that you experience in Dubai made even my parents jump in their seats in excitement!
Abu Dhabi is a place which will give you a breathtaking as well as a soothing experience. Soothing because of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, a visit there will let you attain serenity and its architecture will win your heart! The Ferrari World at Abu Dhabi is one of the best-themed parks in the world which will make your hearts go Vroom! There are many other spots to visit when at Abu Dhabi so do visit and make your trip a fabulous one! I personally found a lot more character in Abu Dhabi than Dubai.
Dubai Mall
THAILAND – BANGKOK
We visited Bangkok when my younger one was just 1.5 years old and Bangkok is like any other Indian city in its looks, the shopping is amazing. Their food is definitely something I look for wherever I travel. Even though we had such a small kid with us, we never felt tired or drained out because the people there just love kids. They offer to play with them while you get a massage or even babysit them while you are having food at a restaurant. So yes, found the city very kid friendly.
