Both versions of The Grey for the character bingo?

The Burned Grey! I love her legitimately, though she is not blorbo territory... And I love her in large part due to the things I feel like she says about Damsel, as I think of her as an (of course potential) extension of Damsel.

But I love thinking about her (and Damsel), could ship her in this form with Drowned Grey, Spectre, even Thorn or Wounded Wild, and think she was sorely needed as almost the other end of the scale from Deconstructed Damsel.

(By "not for me, but I can see the appeal," I basically just mean that in fanworks, despite what I said above about shipping, I am going to prefer Damsel staying alive to Damsel becoming the Burned Grey 99% of the time. And I really do think of the Chapter III vessels as extensions of their Chapter IIs, and Burned Grey is maybe one of the ones I mostly strongly can't separate from her previous chapter. So Damsel and Burned Grey existing simultaneously often feels a little weird to me personally -- even though I think fans can make it make sense! -- and I'm almost always going to prefer Damsel to her Grey.)

AND DROWNED GREY! Who I got closer to bingo with than I expected!

A lot of what I said about Damsel and Burned Grey is the same for Prisoner and Drowned Grey... but as you can see, there are some key differences for me in how I feel about them.

Drowned Grey is just so aesthetic and I have such a crush, mainly <3

(? for "I want their gender" is because despite the feminine funerary garb, Drowned Grey feels GNC as fuck to me. ? for "everyone else is wrong about them" is lighthearted bcs it's the reason I didn't put ? for "they didn't get bullied enough" -- I do in fact feel like it makes sense to get Drowned Grey from just leaving her severed head in the basement! 😤 [Even if that's also why I marked "bastard" for her, LOL.] And ? for "I want to bite them" is just... not sure I'd like that mouthfeel. Plus I'd die. But it'd be an affectionate bite!)

(Also also, while I have a slight preference for Prisoner staying alive, it's far from a 99% skew like with Damsel. So scenarios where Drowned Grey is around instead of Prisoner would work for me a lot more easily and more often!)

Theo gets less fandom attention because Nell is the one we all relate to and chew drywall about, but she's interesting in her own right

the experience to Nell's innocence. the open and admitted psychic who seems to think her own powers an amusing lark. the unflappable, charismatic femme fatale who's seen it all and done it all- except for this. not one of them has been through anything like this before, including I'm-So-Worldly-And-Experienced Theo. she hides her fright like a wounded animal, and her love the same way. because admitting you care about anything is admitting that They can get to you. when the dust settles, will anyone realize that serene and sardonic Theo is irrevocably changed- traumatized -too? what shoulder will she cry on, if she allows herself to cry?

I wonder how she got this way. and since she's a queer woman in the late 1950s, I can take some pretty good guesses

(also she responds to Nell's thoughts aloud sometimes, and I just. you're not so perfectly normal and untouched by the preternatural as you'd like to believe, are you, Theo?)

i was not fond of him at first because omg is he annoying lmao but i didn't hated him either of course, i liked him. But i started to like him more and more every episode <3 is that what "unwillingly have come around to them" mean? LOL

He does occupy a good part of my thoughts about TMNT03 but i don't have a lot more to say about him since, as i said i'm not done with the serie yet oops but i know there's a lot of development to come as i have reached a very important part of the show (i believe i've been at the battle arena for a couple of episodes so far and usagi's there etc etc anyway)
