hey so probably not a lot of you are aware of what's going on in Valencia (Spain) right now , and we're going through some really bad meteorological conditions (know as DANA) which paired with the government's late actions have caused A LOT of people to be victims of floods.

as of now, around 160 people have been declared dead and there are uncountable missing people. the situation is critical, many people from the municipalities around Valencia (paiporta, alfafar, sedaví, xiva, benetusser, catarroja, silla, la torre... and more) don't have running water or electricity. hundreds of animals are being transported however possible since shelters have been destroyed. people are starving unable to drink water, and incommunicated. everyone around here is trying to help, but for now, the accesses are cut and we can't go physically help them, we can only donate things they need.

She was just barely able to afford to take him to the vet for antibiotics but she can't afford further tests or treatments for him. 4-8-25Well we have two more days to pay the storage before the late fees kick in, so I don't think we are going to be able to swing that as we only raised about $50 towards that, and because I'm not a bright man, about $35 of that came out of my account for my phone's autopay. At least that's covered for the month I suppose, ha! Anyway, we had to do the whole moving motels thing on Sunday. As we were leaving, there was a lot of cops and paramedics and ambulances, the crews were surrounding someone on the ground. Someone had overdosed on what they believe was fentanyl, and they gave them six doses of Narcan. I think it was one of the family members of the people who own the motel, as they were all out there with her and kneeling down with her... Scary stuff. Scary times we live in. Made me think of my best friend I lost nearly two years ago now... So it's been a long couple of days. The room we are in now was actually on sale, so we decided to stay here until at least Saturday to try and save on rent. We should be covered on that until the 16th or 17th. After that, we will be hoping for your kindness and generosity to help us get by. Honestly these updates and you repeat donors are the only way we have been able to just barely survive. We have not gained many new donors as my account is shadow banned on Twitter for political reasons and for fundraising in general, and all of the large accounts that used to help us out with reposts either aren't around or not interested in helping us any more. I get it as we have asked for a lot for a long time. But we have been stuck in this rut and wouldn't be able to just barely manage without you all. So once again, thank you. For everything. THEY'RE VOTING ON KOSA THIS THURSDAY JULY 25TH

I already said this under a reblog but I wanna make my own post.

Kosa is the Kids online saftey act and would allow the government to monitor what kids would see online, to qoute "prevent and mitigate mental health disorders"

This bill would raise the legal age your allowed to be on any social site from 13 to 17 and would remove and hide content that exacerbates "self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, and substance use disorders." this would hide social media post educating teens and adults about these things, it would also make it almost impossible for adults and kids alike to acess health info on the internet.

The bill would also put in place a age verification system that would take peoples data to verify they're age and be stored in a huge database.Kosa allows congress to decide on whats appropriate for teens to see, meaning this will lead to mass censorship of any topic not deemed appropriate by our lovely senators!! /s

Lets be real here the first topic they'd want to ban is any and all LGBTQIA+ topics.

This is not about the kids and this has never been about the kids, this is just another thinly veiled excuse for the government to try and have complete control over the youth, and to silence LGBTQIA+ voices.

Although I belive the duty of care part of the bill has been amended so that the state attorney general can enforce the other parts of the bill but not the duty of care bit. (correct me If I'm wrong)

I like many other people would be run off this platform and every other platform for that matter for 4 years.

What we need to do right now is to lobby and we need to make our voices heard.

IMPORTANT THING I FORGOT TO MENTION: Even if Kosa passes through the senate it still has to go through the house and I think it has more opposition there

It is no surprise to us that HYBE is vile. Nonetheless, new internal reports from HYBE proved our suspicion that they are in fact actively censoring idols to speak up about the genocide. They are also actively censoring any mention or attempts of ours to educate our idols on Weverse.

We can safely say that HYBE is NOT upholding any ethical standards regarding their idols and their idols’ opinions. HYBE, therefore, relies on a dictatorial system, where idols can only say as much as they are allowed.

Been a minute since I posted on my tumblr but, this is a better time than ever; I have a few announcements.

First, I’ve just recently started my transition and am now, she/they. 🏳️‍⚧️✨

Second, Me and my partner started a gofundme in order help fund our escape from the south. We’re currently living in one of the more conservative and anti-bipoc/anti-trans part of the southern US and need assistance fleeing. Outside of how dangerous it is for us and the violence we’re facing, it’s also been very isolating living here as we have lost contact with our family..

We are moving to the PNW where we can have better gender affirming health care, more equitable healthcare in general and be in/find a new community. Hopefully one where a newly transitioned, black trans fem (myself) would be less likely to experience acts of violence and fatal hate crimes simply for existing.

We have to vacate where we currently live on Sept 28th so please help us crowdfund.

So I wanted to reach out to fellow artists who are sick of these bots and scammers on this app. I wrote a review 4 Tumblr (ik you may be thinking one review won't do anything but that's why I'm reaching out to you all!) If we all express our upsetness/anger/dissatisfaction with these bots and scammers and the fact that Tumblr doesn't seem to do very much about it at all. Not even putting out safety warnings for brand new beginners 2 ensure they don't get scammed or screwed over! Tumblr should have to admit that there is a serious bot and scamming problem on their app, I think if enough of us express that they'll be forced to do something. If you take five minutes or less! To write a review expressing how you feel eventually (with enough of us) their overall reviews will go down and they'll be forced to see that there is an issue. Tumblr needs us as much as we need it and it needs to do its absolute best to keep its users safe from this kind of stuff!

Please consider taking the time to write a review. It can be as short & simple as "2 many bots & scammers" or something more written out like I did. I truly believe that with enough of us pressing on this problem, change can be caused. With enough people and numbers they can't ignore us! Thank you for your time.

Extra points I forgot 2 add: ik u can block them & absolutely if you think or realize your being scammed block them! But! Tumblr should not just be allowed to let scammers use this app for this! Ik most believe it's common sense to tell if it's a bot or not but there are young artists on this app! & Sometimes ppl just aren't aware of that kind of stuff, when you have a dream 2 be an artist you can be hopeful and naive.

PS: if you decide to do a review I recommend doing one star! It will cause their overall reviews to go down quicker and get our message across clearer. Again, thank you for your time.

Extra PS!: Even if you aren't an artist yourself and/or it hasn't affected you yet, consider writing a review anyways! Every review counts even if it's something like "I personally haven't experienced it but I've seen a lot of artists on Tumblr talking about bots and scamming issues."
