I think now is a funny time to mention is that I've hated FrostLion with a passion ever since it became canon. Frostfur's kits didn't have a set father when I first began reading but it started to become a popular theory when I thiiink Su Suzanne popularized it? And I didn't mind/kind of liked it then since it's a cute idea for Lionheart to be a dad

And then when it became canon (around 2017-2018ish) and made Bright and Swift actually cousins I was really upset and refused to accept it (and still kind of do to an extent). It still just feels like one of those bad retcons to me. Like I found evidence of a fic I wrote on the Wayback Machine where motherfucking Brokenstar was the father of Frostfur's litter (and if my memory serves, Lionheart just serving at most as a father-like adoptive figure since he's just a good guy like that) as late as 2020 since I wanted dear god anybody else to be the dad

Swiftpaw and Brightpaw being siblings now is one of the things that I really hate about the new graphic novels, not only because it makes me feel really uncomfortable that I used to ship BrightSwift as a kid now, but because I prefer the idea of Bright and Swift being these 2 unlikely cats to ever team up to take down the dogs and it kind of gets rid of some angst with Goldenflower with how Goldenflower's eldest kit was murdered by her ex-mate's dogs. Like, I want to know how Goldenflower feels about that and how that shaped her view of Tigerstar

At the end of the day, it's just silly cat books though and I'm only worked up about it since I'm just waking up. Anyways, thank you for reading my objectively terrible Warrior Cats opinions, there's more where that came from <3
