anonymous asked:
hi. i don’t really go here so i’m sorry if this is breaking any rules, but i need a bit of advice i’m part of a system, none of us are radqueer and never have been. we’re pretty against most of the stuff that goes down in the radqueer community however, one of my headmates has been struggling quite a lot with certain desires and their identity. they seem to be some sort of divine being, and because of that they desire followers that’ll worship them and that they can take care of, stuff along those lines because of this, they’ve latched onto the idea of faux cults. but they don’t want to hurt anyone, and fults also seem to be a radqueer thing mainly. they really, REALLY like the idea of making or participating in a harmless fult, but they’re worried that they’ll be dragged into the radqueer community and/or become a harmful person by doing so. they feel like even if they were to organize something like that the only way for it to possibly be successful is to join the radqueer community, which is making them feel ashamed of themself for having these desires in the first place, cause they really don’t want to do that i don’t think this is something they can change about themselves and i don’t want them to suffer anymore but i don’t know how to help them :(
Don't worry, you're welcome here.
Term-wise:
So, the first thing that comes to mind are coined ficto-religions. However I don't follow any of them and I don't think they usually involve worship towards a living being, and the phrasing has fallen under some criticism. These don't mean that your headmate can't identify with one or even coin their own if they want to though, and I do know that identifying with these does bring a lot of people some comfort! Here's the tag on the coiner's blog for more examples and discussion on it.
Dissconnodivinetreatment: A Dissconnomei subterm that refers to wishing/thinking one is or should be treated like a god or religious figure and, due to a multitude of factors, makes the person feel disconnected to their external treatment. This is not a for "fun" label or a voluntary "I wanna be this ✨️✨️✨️", this also doesn't override external treatment and is to merely acknowledge the disconnect. This term is specific for people with involuntary disconnects that don’t believe in transitioning if it hurts others or the user or adds to further stigma and appropriation of other groups and thus is not radqueer or transid friendly, and not comparable to transgender.
Dissodeity: a Dissospecies subterm in which someone has an involuntary disconnect to their species that makes them believe they are a deity and is against transitioning if it harms the user or is used as an excuse to harm others.
Deityvesi: A vesil identity where deities/ being a deity affects many or all aspects of your identity.
If any of these labels are comfortable to them, they might be able to find community with others who are dissomei, vesil, etc.
Coping-wise:
While you did say it doesn't feel like something they can change, I do think it's worth it for them to do some self-analysis. That's a long process, but if they can identify exactly what feelings they're expecting to get from being worshipped and taking care of followers, you can try to figure out what other things they can do to get the same feelings.
If they don't already have their own blog/sideblog, making one and reblogging related posts might be comforting. I also think that the deitykin/godkin/goddesskin/etc communities might be accepting, or at least have relatable posts.
Roleplaying being worshipped and having followers could also be an outlet. This could be roleplay with friends, or through video games.
Followers, do you have any other advice or thoughts?

9/24 update. months later and nothing has improved. the nukapedia discord is still an alt-right pipeline entry point. in fact, all admins have stepped back from or formally left the discord except for Savior DJ, the one who has been using his authority to ensure the alt-right social domination of the entire community.
a more up-to-date post can be found here, which links to several other relevant incidents.
i have been extensively characterized as a lying psychopath (for lack of better language) for showing you screencaps of the discord and reporting what has happened there as accurately as i can. i have been doxxed. my friends and supporters have been directly harassed on multiple platforms. the Nuka old guard are still waiting for this to 'die down' so they can 'go back to when things were easy,' when cryptofascists had absolute rule over the entire community and nobody tried to hold them accountable. when i demand accountability for the mistreatment of children i'm "taking a video game website too seriously" or "staging a coup."
the "anti-woke" propaganda in the OP was posted by a staff member responding to an underage member. as you can see, he claims "wokeness" leads to race war and cultural marxism. these are neonazi talking points. the youtuber he links, shortfatotaku, is known for posting shit like this.
intrepid was once banned for 3 days for comparing blackface to transness while defending TERFs. a member of color was dragged and punished for posting a single sentence to the effect of "i'm glad that guy was banned for his racism." apparently, it's highly illegal to criticize the racist community members even after staff punishes them, but it's extremely encouraged to engage in the coordinated cyberstalking of all progressive community members.
here's the same predatory alt-right staff member negging the entire community for being beneath the human trafficker Andrew Tate. this was two days ago.
over a dozen people have left or formally distanced themselves from the community at this point. the only acting admin is Savior DJ and the only active content mod is intrepid359. Savior DJ instantly humiliates and permanently bans anyone who challenges his domination over the website, but extensively works with racists to give them ample opportunity to "explain themselves" and even entertains the possibility of 'expunging their record.' staff members who dissented were silenced and ignored because DJ's power is absolute.
DJ has also gone out of his way to overpower other admins, unbanning or underbanning far-right users the community agreed should leave. for example, Leon is a far right-winger who was found to have engaged in inappropriate conduct towards a minor among other severe behavior. An appointed review board found that Leon should stay banned--but DJ told them pre-emptively he would reject their findings if he did not like the conclusion, and ultimately took the liberty of unbanning Leon, in service of nothing but his personal bias.
two of the three elected admins have withdrawn from the server. both left in the wake of ghoulish, hostile incidents in which DJ acted against them to protect users tempbanned for racism, citing the support of his enablers. in the admins' absence, their acts of good will were formally reversed and invalidated.
np even have a half-secret 'debate room' which is only available to trusted members who ask for entry, because it is so fucking racist. there is no reason to support this deeply sick institution. they are a textbook example of an internet cult.
i'd hoped i might be able to de-escalate with some kind of good news by now. i can't. please make people aware of what happens to marginalized people who join the Nukapedia community. for the sake of all Fallout fans this can not be allowed to continue.
edit: i retract my skepticism of the bureaucrat. an advocate has spoken to me about their place in the situation and i have sent an apology. i regret my ignorance.
please reblog for sample size.
edit
good job dude
edit 2
i have been permanently banned from nukapedia for this post
edit 3
the following posts were screencapped and posted to nukapedia as the other reason for upgrading my 1yr ban to permanent

several patrollers have resigned in solidarity or disgust
you can read the bans and see for yourself, where admins repeatedly vaguely accuse me of presenting these messages under false pretense.
i was also harassed by a nukapedia admin on tumblr who attempted to delete the message before i could engage with it. when i mentioned it to the other acting admin, i was told to re-read the harassment so i might be a better person in a year.
further, a channel was collectively scolded last month by an admin who had been triggered upon being compelled to review the messages of the anti-Woke mod. during an argument, the mod had compared transness to blackface in defense of JK Rowling, earning him a 3-day ban. when i said i was traumatized from dealing with his targeted harassment of myself and my queer peers throughout pride month, i was accused of "emotionally manipulating admins"
all of this had begun two months ago when someone shared a personal anecdote about a racial microaggression they had experienced and wrapped it up with "such a white thing to say." for weeks thereafter, this woman was namedropped by the mod whenever racism came up, as an example of a racist. he would ultimately accuse her of being no better than a holocaust denier because she said "the far left is not associated with mass murder and bigotry."
during the mod's three-day ban he participated in the coordinated monitoring and harassment of a minor. the user sent five replies to the effect of "you are never to contact me in private" and "stop talking to me" before the mod stopped messaging him. this was not addressed when the mod was unbanned. however, the morning before this, the woman mentioned above was banned for leaving an incredulous emoji react face on a backhanded admin post targeting her.
the mod believes he is protecting the community from "reverse racism." he has also asked me if i "think hostility towards white people is justice" and when i excused myself from the conversation he asked if i was "triggered"
at one point i announced i would be absent for several days to attend a funeral. the mod invoked me by name and characterized me as a bad person while i was attending my grandmother's service
he remains on-staff, surrounded by silence. my 1yr ban was prompted by my confronting the community with proof of him stalking a minor, but that incident did not come up at all in the text of my ban
please reblog for public awareness. please show this to every fallout fan you know.

*OUTDATED NEW VERSION AVAILABLE HERE*
❤ Version 5.0 Fleuralia Save File ❤
Download link down below (please read entire post before installing)
This save file uses all EP’s, GP’s (not Journey to Batuu), SP’s and some of the kits (Country Kitchen, Blooming Rooms, Incheon Arrivals, Retro Fit, Industrial loft, Moonlight Chic and Little Campers kit).
What’s new in this update?:
Moonwood Mill and Copperdale have been completely redone, added multiple new lots, updated other lots and provided make-overs for the households.
All households that are currently living in the different worlds have a set sexual orientation and pronouns.
Added new households
Current Status of Worlds:
Finished worlds: Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Windenburg, San Myshuno, Forgotten Hollow, Brindleton Bay, Del Sol Valley, StrangerVille, Glimmerbrook, Sulani, Britechester , Evergreen Harbor, Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill (NEW!) and Copperdale (NEW!).
Finished vacation worlds: Granite Falls and Selvadorada.
Finihed other lots: Hospital, Science Lab and the Police Station.
To be updated: the Magic Realm, will either be included in a future update or on the gallery (OriginID: fleuralia)
What do you get with this save?:
For my save file all lots are either completely new builds (almost all) or renovations, ofcourse created by me. Exceptions: I have added the official builds for the releases of the Paranormal SP by Dr Ashley and the Dream Home Decorator GP by Deligracy to this save, since I thought they deserved a spot. These two are therefore not my own creations, credits are given in the description to Dr Ashley and Deligracy. Mt. Komorebi, Henford-on-Bagley, Tartosa, Moonwood Mill and Copperdale lots are largely created by GameChangers. Most lots have gotten small updates, others are completely new builds by me.
All the townies had make-overs plus I added new families to spice it up a bit. Some of the townies are made by other creators, who are given credits in the description of the household. All the townies in the different worlds have a story, some include sentiments and adjusted relationships to the story.
Added plenty of community lots to give your Sims something to do (YAY!). Almost every world has one restaurant, but it also includes festivals that represent the four seasons (park lots) and a fully functional shopping street in Magnolia Promenade (toy store, bridal store and more).
I have added rental lots so you can go on vacation in more worlds. For example in Sulani, Willow Creek and Windenburg.
Other details:
As mentioned at the beginning, this save uses almost all packs (except Journey to Batuu and some kits). This means that if you download it without owning or installing most of the packs a lot of objects will disappear from the save, but if you are not bothered by this you can stil download and play in it.
I would love to add some households in this save created by all of you! Add your household under the hashtag #fleuraliatownies in The Sims 4 Gallery, you can add a storyline and world in the description but thats not obligatory. If I respond on your creation it means that I have incorporated it in the save for the next update (first one added with this update in Copperdale!)
Sadly the last update and pack came with a lot of bugs, the one I noticed were not specific to the save but to the game, as more players in different saves experienced them. I suggest before reporting problems in the save to me, to check on forums if its related to a general bug/glitch or to mods (if you use them).
Questions and supportive feedback are always welcome, you can reach me here via a comment on this post, an ask or through a DM 😁
How to make it work in your game:
Download the save file from the link below.
Drag it in your saves folder under: PC/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves.
Change the numbers if you already have a save with the same name.
It should now show up in your game as: Fleuralia Save Version 5.0.
DOWNLOAD (SFS)
!!Don’t re-upload or claim as your own!!
Future updates will follow after each pack release (if it includes a world). The time the update will be uploaded after each release depends on how much I have to change and on my work schedule around that time.
Last but not least, enjoy and till next time! XX

sims 4 gameplay mods download free K2X?
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Game Mods (2, found). Advertisement: Advertisement: Updated Downloads See more Updated Popular Downloads - last 30 days See more Popular. The Sims community is full of talented players who've made some awesome realistic mods for The Sims 4. These are the best of The 20 Best Sims 4 Gameplay Mods (November ) · Switch Streaming Mod · Height Slider · Pregnancy Overhaul · Realistic Reactions Mod · Meaningful. After School Activities · 2. Automatic Beards · 3. Better Romance · 5. Explore Mod · 6. Extreme Violence · 7. Faster Eating and Drinking · 8. 9 If you're seeking Sims 4 mods to liven up your Sims' lives, you're in luck. Whether you want some more interaction options between your favorite Sims, or skip the mundane stuff and fully realize their magical destiny thanks to a modded sorcery suite, there are all sorts of Sims mods that can sculpt the game to fit your desired playstyle. Despite it being nearly a decade since release, new Sims 4 mods still regularly appear on ModTheSims opens in new tab —which has long been the biggest platform for creators. You'll find everything from minor changes to total reworks. Some well-known modders, including LittleMsSam opens in new tab and KawaiiStacie opens in new tab , have even become so big they have their own websites for their collections of creations. However, as expected for adding user-created mods to games, it can be tough to figure out which still work, and which might make your game upset. Not all of them receive regular updates, and so might not play nicely with the latest official additions from EA. Yeah, it's lovely that your teenage Sims get to enjoy a more fully realized existence , but every new high school gameplay mechanic is a potential landmine for an outdated mod. How do you install mods for The Sims 4? Luckily it's pretty simple, especially if you only want to make a couple tweaks. To install Sims 4 mods, you can drag and drop the mod folders you've downloaded into your Sims 4 "Mods" folder. The game should automatically have created one for you after you start up the game for the first time. Once you're in game, you'll also need to enable mods in your game settings by going to your Options menu under the Other tab. You'll need to restart your game afterwards. Always check out the installation instructions for any mod you download just to be sure there aren't any more additional steps. Most should just be a quick matter of copying files over. Do keep an eye out for any dependencies your mods have, such as meshes creates by other modders that you'll also need to install. Download from: ModTheSims opens in new tab. Many of the best Sims 4 mods affect the ways Sims interact with each other. The Sweet Tooth trait, for example, makes your sims better at baking and adds new moodlets to help them express their love of cake, while the New Hobby Traits helps encourage you to have your sim engage in their favorite activities to stay stress-free. There are tonnes of traits available on ModTheSims in case you're looking for even more unusual choices to try out. Want to try out several new traits at once? This mod lets you add more than three traits at a time: you just need to type a quick cheat code including the name of the desired trait to add it to your Sim. With the new Create-a-Sim tool in The Sims 4, you can spawn Sims of many different widths, but you can't alter how tall they are. This height slider from GODJUL1 lets you adjust the height of your Sims so that the world looks more naturally varied: just click and drag their feet in Create-a-Sim to stretch or shrink them. Technically this is actually a Live Mode mod, but because it affects your Sim's appearance we'll let it hang out in Create-A-Sim. With this mod, your sims will grow a beard over time. If you don't want to wait for nature, there's even a beard tonic to speed things up. Once it's too long, your Sim can shave and style their facial hair in the mirror. We all know The Sims 4 needs more personal chores, right? Download from: PictureAmoebae opens in new tab. This is a big must-have for players who like constructing intricate scenes. Placing clutter items naturally in The Sims 4 can be a bit of a headache. Even if you've gotten good at using your ALT key for free placement and the 0 or 9 keys to change an object's height, you can run into snapping nightmares. The OMSP shelf helps you add clutter to just about anything by acting as a placeholder surface while you clutter to your heart's desire. Download from: TwistedMexi's Patreon opens in new tab. This mod expands the number of rows while browsing for objects and makes using filters easier too. The real biggie though is how easy it makes hunting for debug items—the neat items that exist in The Sims 4 but can usually only be revealed for use via cheats. Debug items have color swatches too. Download from: Ravasheen opens in new tab. Ravasheen's working bunk beds made a real splash back before The Sims 4 added bunk beds of its own. Even though bunk beds are official now, Ravasheen's bunks are a great modular option for saving space. You can also put Ravasheen's miniature desks beneath a lofted bed and Sims are still able to use them, unlike a lot of base game items paired with standard Sims 4 bunk beds. You'll probably want to grab Ravasheen's bunk bed updates to go with the regular set as well. This Sims 4 mod is all about adding more complexity to character romance and interactions, letting you tweak the traits they find attractice in others, dating preferences, and even attitude towards birth control. Wonderful Whims adds a whole extra layer to the Sims 4 dating experience, giving it a little extra depth and less superficiality. Download from: SacrificialMods opens in new tab. Life's Drama adds a dash of controversy to every neighborhood, with 11 new dramatic scenarios for townie NPCs, some of which you can intervene in. Your Sims might peer out their window to see a couple embroiled in a huge argument, a robber trying to pick a pocket, or a bride running away from her wedding. You can cause some drama yourself via the new "Exposing A Loved One" action, which works on Sims that have partners. Drop the bombshell, and grab some popcorn. Full installation instructions are here. Download from: KawaiiStacieMods opens in new tab. This mod from KawaiiStacie adds a bunch of rabbit hole actions—activities your Sims can do on their own without you following—that activate buffs or improve your Sims' relationships with those closest to them. Once your Sims have visited the DMV for a license or bus pass, you can send them exploring just by clicking on them, which brings up a radial wheel of options. You can send them shopping they'll come back with new clothes , to dance classes, to local attractions, to gambling spots, to take on some part-time work, and more. Their skills and motives will change based on the activity you choose, and you can tell your Sim to "Explore With" another character if you want to improve relations. Sims will also randomly explore if you don't intervene, which is neat. The mod works with the base game, but some options rely on specific packs: you can't send Sims for take-out ice cream if you don't own the Cool Kitchen Stuff pack, for example. Download from: Roburky. A mod pack containing some of prolific Sims 4 modder roBurky's best work, all aimed at making your Sims feel more human. If you've used Emotional Inertia or True Happiness—both previously on this list individually—then you'll attest to the quality of roBurky's work, and both of those mods are in the package alongside other must-haves. Make sure your sims look awesome with the best gaming PCs right now. Emotional Inertia, redesigned just for this collection, stops your Sims' moods flipping on and off like a light switch. In the base game, simply having a good meal in a well-decorated room fills them with joy for a few hours, but then the feeling vanishes. Emotional inertia makes moods less predictable, but more stable: they'll change less and last longer, making it more difficult to game the system. True Happiness, meanwhile, changes your Sims' default state from "happy" to "fine". Making them happy actually requires something special to happen, such as meeting a new partner, which will boost their mood considerably for a short time. But Meaningful Stories is more than just these two well-liked mods. It also changes how the environment, such as paintings, impacts your Sims' moods. The effects are now more subtle and build up over time. It also stops extreme mood swings, so that instead of going from extreme happiness to sadness your sim will move through the natural, neutral in-between stages. Lastly, it creates more variable moodlets, meaning the same source of mood can give stronger or weaker effects at random. Download from: Triplis. Do you miss the magic of previous Sims games? Become a Sorcerer adds a hearty serving of the supernatural, letting your Sims sling magic spells that can either suck the sadness out of a friend or strike down an enemy with a bolt of lightning. Download from: LittleMsSam opens in new tab. This mod by LittleMsSam adds extra options for your romantically-inclined Sims. Using their phone, Sims can plan a date with another Sim at a particular neighborhood location. You can also choose to have one-night-stands and get calls for hook-ups from other NPC Sims. The main mod is pretty unrestricted in who it considers to be eligible for dates, including those in different age categories than your Sim and Sims already in relationships. To fine-tune your dating experience, check out the handful of optional addons available with the SimDa app. The imagination behind them is impressive, and most of them give you a fully-fleshed out path to follow. Whether you want to become a tattoo artist , game developer , stock broker or zookeeper , you can now follow your dreams. We especially enjoy transforming our sim from a lowly PR assistant to the owner of a sports team in the sports agent career , which is a converted version of a career from The Sims 3: University Life. If you want more culinary creativity, then Custom Food Interactions is the only place you should start. This is one of our favourites on the best Sims 4 mods list. It changes lots in the background read the description on the mod page for an exhaustive list but the best thing about it is that it eliminates all idle conversations. Expect more kisses from love interests—and more sucker punches from your enemies. Download from: Zerbu opens in new tab. Another one from Zerbu, the Turbo Careers mod makes all adult and two teen careers function like the active careers from the Get to Work expansion. You can download work venues from the Gallery, including ones with a combined function, or make your own—just make sure they have the right objects for Sims to do their job. The necessary activities for career progression are naturally related to the career—programming, cooking, exercising—and sometimes Sims will receive fieldwork. An athlete might have to go to the gym and show off her muscles, while a Sim who works in business might have to offer career advice to those running retail venues. You can browse opens in new tab all available careers here opens in new tab and the venue requirements for every job here opens in new tab. Once your artist Sim has churned out five paintings a day for a week you start to see the same images coming up again and again. This mod from DaisyTighfield replaces those default paintings across all categories with images from around the web, featuring lots of fanart from popular movies and video games. If you like what you see, you can follow the links provided to find the original images on Deviantart or other sites. You can even create your own masterpieces for your Sims to paint in-game—the instructions are on the mod page. It introduces a chance for Sims who are capable of getting pregnant to become so any time they Woohoo instead of just when purposefully using "Try for baby". The mod comes with a variety of different percentage risks and adjusts the chances based on where your Sims are getting it on as well as the traits they possess. It also reworks aspects of pregnancy, introducing complications and possible infertility for some Sims. It should be noted that you can also manually adjust the chances of getting pregnant in MCCC. They were updated a while back and now provide you with more options, such as the ability to allow same-sex couples to fall pregnant. Download from: Caradriel's Patreon opens in new tab. Simmers have been begging for better base game babies for years, but in the meantime modder Caradriel has given us lots more to do with our tiniest Sims. Once you've got both, the Better Babies mod gives you all sorts of new moodlets and conversation topics related to raising tiny Sims. Once your newborns age up, you'll have even more options available to their parents. Through the Better Toddlers menu, your Sims can attempt to teach their kids new words, ask them to say "mommy" or "daddy" and tell other adult Sims about those accomplishments too. You'll need the Mood Pack mod in order to use Better Babies as well. Although it isn't required, you may also want to consider giving those worn out parents a break by pairing it with the Hire A Babysitter mod by LittleMsSam. Enjoy the Sims 4's wonderfully jaunty soundtrack with the best gaming headsets out there. Download from: Weerbesu's Patreon opens in new tab. This handy mod by Weerbesu makes using Sims 4 cheats a breeze if you don't know the lot by heart. Right-clicking various parts of the normal Sims 4 interface will give you extra options for things like giving a household more money, promoting Sims in their careers, or changing the in-game time. You can find the full list of features by scrolling down a bit on the download page. Download from: Icemunmun opens in new tab. When the Tiny Living stuff pack came out, fold-down Murphy beds seemed like a treat. That is until everyone realized that they seem to kill your Sims quite often. This mod may seem simple but it can save you from a real headache. No more Murphy bed deaths and cheating your Sims back to life after! Download from: Deaderpool-mccc opens in new tab. If you only grab one mod, make it this one. You can adjust the numbers to set your Sims to prefer one gender to the exclusion of the other, to prefer one but also like the other, or to like both equally. Romance away. If you've ever lost a week of your Sim's life by forgetting to save, you'll want to think about this mod by Temptest that automatically saves your game every day at your chosen time. It also creates seven save slots so that you can roll back to a previous day if you really want to. Jordan Erica Webber. See comments.

Missed Opportunities Commentary
Thank you all, once more, for a fantastic week. I wish my schedule allowed me to do this more often, since it really is so much fun. Now, then, let’s get into it! All 14 remaining submissions are under the cut, card and commentary included.
We’re going to be going in reverse alphabetical order this time, so let’s start it off with @shadowtag‘s submission, Traumatic Reunion
This is an absolutely beautiful callback to Cathartic Reunion in both function and flavor, but this is not a black effect. The only color allowed to return any card type from their graveyard to their hand is green, and spells that return multiple cards at once all exile themselves (or otherwise remove themselves from your graveyard like Seasons Past.) Very good job on the flavor, but unfortunately the mechanics don't quite pull through.
@misterstingyjack Tocasia’s Ingenuity
A deep pull to be sure, but not an unwelcome one. Although, given that Primal Plasma is blue, and blue is the central overlapping color between Urza and Mishra, I don't see why this wasn't a blue card. The fact that it makes a token with all the abilities of the card is strange to me too, as with Soul Separator from Shadows Over Innistrad there is precedent of making token copies of things in graveyard with different characteristics. That aside, an artifact focus was 100% the right direction to take here, even with the Elementalist spin, and the card is well balanced, all things considered. Unrelated to the judging, you mentioned Darksteel Colossus in the notes, but unfortunately that wouldn't work. Darksteel Colossus shuffles itself into your library if it would be put into a graveyard, so it's impossible to interact with it in the graveyard (Blightsteel Colossus does this as well.)
@i-am-the-one-who-wololoes The First Battle

I always love to see the Demon Leviathan given the attention it deserves. The lore on this is absolutely wonderful, but it's also way too much text to put on a Saga. If it did fit, I'd suggest swapping the first two chapters so that you can better set up the killing blow, but as it is I think it should just be an instant or sorcery that makes the planeswalkers fight and adds the counters immediately.
@ozthearistocrat Mistmeadow Jack
I also had to look this one up, and flavorfully I'm liking what I'm seeing! Unfortunately, this is not a white card. Stealing things, even temporarily, is not a white effect. If this card were blue to cast with a white activation (or keeping the hybrid activation) it would have been perfect.
@snugz Khanfall
Choices were a big part of Fate Reforged, and Khans block in general, so it makes sense that a splashy mythic set in that time would have a choice attached as well. However, given that the card is named Khanfall, and there's only one way that can go down, it seems strange to me that there's a choice at all. The mechanical aspects of this card are wonderful, but I think it should have done only one of these things rather than try for both.
@starch255 Hyperi, Titan of Sky’s Tyranny
I'm definitely a fan of the concept, and I'm glad you caught on and made the Helixing optional, but my feelings on Hyperi are mixed. The two Titans we have fit into a playstyle of "Good spells on turn 2/3, good value engines later in the game," but Hyperi doesn't. It's an absolutely backbreaking card late game, especially since grave hate powers up future versions, but on curve it most likely does nothing at all. You would have been better served making it either flat damage + lifegain or tied to a number other than cards in exile.
@gollumni Hurrik, Savior of Gods
There's a lot to say here, so let me start by assuring you that I really wish this card worked. If you activate this and target any creature that then dies to damage or 0 toughness, it creates an infinite loop of replacement effects that ends the game in a draw, because it doesn't remove marked damage or debuffs, so the creature will die again to state based actions so the replacement effect, which lasts until the end of the turn, will grab it ad infinitum. If it said "the next time" and removed damage, or it exiled and brought it back under your control, then it would work perfectly. It also saves your own creatures without the downside, which I don't think was intentional based on the wording.
@hypexion Hack the Guildpact

Maybe I have a skewed experience with this sort of thing, but this looks very easy to win with. If you have even three unique color pairs and a proliferate card, you'll win in three turns. But worse than that, the card doesn't do anything aside from winning the game. If it gets to 9 counters and then gets blown up, it didn't do anything. Cards which say "win the game" on them usually have either some sort of protection, like Helix Pinnacle and Darksteel Reactor, or some other effect to help win or survive, like Approach of the Second Sun and Simic Ascendancy. Maybe it could have a ramping scry/surveil based on the number of counters, and then win at 10.
@teaxch Gvar, Krumar Commander

It's simple and clean, although it doesn't quite carry the same flavor as what the Krumar really are. The mechanics of this card imply that they defeat the children and then take them, and although the flavor text describes it properly, it's still at odds with the functionality. A better way to do this might be to follow the example of Offspring's Revenge, and have Gvar make 1/1 token copies of opponent's creatures that die, with appropriate stat balancing.
@bread-into-toast Glimpse of Perfection
I get what you were going for, and I like it, but it's messy. It's a counterspell and a stealy card, but the fact that it namedrops the Shadowspear specifically means it's very niche, and the fact that you're paying more than usual for the counterspell, and then 4 life (or UU) for a 1 mana artifact that you don't always keep forever makes the card underwhelming even when it does work. I think a better way to accomplish this flavor would have been to make both the counterspell and search effect on etb, and make the steal effect search for any artifact with mana value 1 or less.
@morbidlyqueerious Glimpse Beyond

Mechanically, this card is perfect. Blue and green are the perfect combination of colors for this effect, weaving together cards like Commune With the Gods and Investigate the Mystery seamlessly. My only gripe is that, looking at this without the flavor text, I would not know what it's representing. It's a great effect, and I do love me some Rashmi, it's just a little too nonspecific.
@shakeszx Dack’s Fate

Very on the nose. Normally, most things about this card would be working against it, but in the specific context of War of the Spark, it fits very well. Legendary sorceries would have been great in a set with 36 planeswalkers, as well as planeswalker specific removal. I'm not sure why this is white, though. Nicol Bolas has never been associated with white, least of all the Eternals, and everything this card does can be done in mono black.
@wolkemesser Clockworking

Mechanically, this card is fine. I think it should have been a delayed trigger to choose one ("when you win" instead of if), and the "use" should be changed to "activate" but the card works as written. Apart from that, the effects are of wildly different power levels (compare Raise Dead to Disallow). Flavorfully, I'm very confused why you re-used a Lorwyn mechanic for the Scars of Mirrodin story, let alone one as divisive as Clash.
@col-seaker-of-the-memiest-legion ______, Planeswalker
This is a wonderful example of a card that is only silver bordered due to flavor. It functions exactly as intended in black border, without any changes to the rules or mechanics of the game, but is still a card that would never be printed outside of an Unset. That being said, the card itself does need a bit of a templating update. It needs to specify that you can look at cards exiled with it, otherwise you won't be able to play any of them, and I assume you meant for the last ability to be less than or equal to the number of land counters on the Planeswalker. Mechanically, there's a few changes that would need to be made to get it to the right spot in terms of balance. The cost, for one, is a mess. Twobrid mana isn't used anymore for good reason, and while I understand the intent behind its use here, it drags the design down. The fact that all of the abilities subtract loyalty means that even though it starts with 20 counters, you're likely not going to be able to play anything off of it. It playing the land in the second ability is more restrictive than you might assume, since the opportunity cost there is both drawing a card into the planeswalker and your own land drop for the turn.
~
And that will do it for us today! It was a genuine pleasure to host this for you all, and I look forward to the next time our paths cross in such a manner.

Spirit Committee Mod’s Christmas Gift to you
So back earlier this year when I first started this blog, one of the first ever requests I received was a question asking me “What were my 20 favorite Housamo characters?” At first I really didn’t have an answer since I was trying to reintroduce myself to the cast, but now that I’ve ingrained myself into the community a decent bit I can give you guys what I look for in a Housamo character as my thanks to all of you for just enjoying my content really. I look for what appeals to me visually (I’m the kinda writer that likes em big and beefy) but also well written. While not every character may or may not be the best written character since there’s so much reading I have to go back and do, but I am comfortable 20 characters I find to be downright great.
My Top 10~20 Housamo Characters
Honorable Mentions: Characters who do definitely qualify in the Top 20, but are just simply hard to place exactly in a definitive slot (lists like these are pretty hard to write for in hindsight…)
~Aegir: This is a character that’s very hard to place for a few different reasons. On one hand he’s easily one of the more aesthetically pleasing characters to me and I don’t just mean his body. There’s just always something about outfits in Housamo that just look amazing and I think Aegir’s is one of the better ones because they both show off his best assets and are pretty snazzy. His color scheme in most of his outfits tend to say hes an ocean man and I like you can just tell by looking at him given the whites and blues along with the gold he adorns himself with. Sort of what you’d expect from a treasure hunter such as himself. And yes he is a total heart throb alongside that I do have a bit of Gacha bias here and for the next one since I have all variants of them and some really good artwork. On the other hand, what do I know about him? Well, he’s a pretty boisterous fellow who loves to show off and is a big man. What else? Um…. Unfortunately Aegir’s events aren’t fully translated and his voice lines and bio do leave a bit to be desired for me at least. When it comes to writing him I have no issues, but when it comes to trying to visualize him as a character among the vast cast it just becomes hard to give him a good place beyond “He has a nice chest and bulge” most of the time. It’s not anything personal and my opinion of him may change after this Christmas event is over and translated by the Housamo Blogspot and GomTang is one of my favorite artists working with LifeWonders so he may get bumped up or off. As an additional upside I do like how his gameplay in both of his variants reflect his character, it’s a nice touch game designers often do.
~Takemaru: Yes, both 2019 Christmas boys. And yes, it’s because of their tiddies. I’m mostly kidding… But in all seriousness Takemaru is one of the better offensive supports in the game who’s one of the easier units to pull in the gacha, especially right now considering he has an alt on the banner so in theory he should be showing up more frequently as a 3star. But that’s just a theory. The thing with Takemaru I like beyond his design is the fact with how genuine sweet he is as a character. He’s rough in how he speaks but his personality is very sincere (for the most part from what I can gather) However he falls into the same trap as Aegir since I haven’t read the events he’s a part of just yet. Plus he is a crafter boy and you never say no to a Crafter.
~Kengo: One of two Summoners on this list. I have a bit more preference for Kengo over the other summoner that did make the list, but to be as fair as I can in my judgment I have to leave Kengo in the 11-20 pile. Visually he has all the check boxes that just draw me to a character initially and his personality is simple, but I like that he’s simple. Characters don’t always need to be complex and multi faceted to be engaging, plus I just kinda want someone who would encourage me to be more active and I feel a few characters alongside Kengo would do that, he’s a Chad and a bro. So why is he not in the inner circle for this list? It’s cuz the story treats him the worst. What do I mean? deep breath If you’ve read Chapter 3 of the main story then you should know the absolute mess it is. It tries to shove in as many characters as possible during this part of the story which, okay understandable since this is a gacha game but they forgot to give Kengo, you know one of the cover boys, a proper role in the story and it really feels LifeWonders thought that they could bank on Kengo’s Himbo status and just showing us the others. But I need sustenance. I need to read! He did because he has moments that could have been much more if they just shifted the focus back on Kengo for more than a few moments at a time and he sort of highlights a lot of my issues with the way the stories are told in this game but those are for another time.
~Arc: In my perspective, the antithesis to Kengo. Not to say I find Arc visually unappealing, but they aren’t for me the way other characters are though. As a character though Arc’s story is honestly one of the best stories has to offer and they actually have (pardon my pun) an arc. I won’t spoil too much of their story because it’s all pretty late into the game but you really do sympathize with Arc and begin to understand the larger narrative the game has. Plus a nice detail is that Arc’s voice lines change depending on the point of the story you’re in I guess? Or maybe it was a release thing I’m not too sure how you trigger one over the other but they get 2 sets of lines. And they actually integrate Arc into the story and revolving cast pretty well instead of casting them to the wayside for 80% of their story. I can’t go much deeper than that unfortunately. All I can say is read Chapter 7 and 8 but do know that they are some of the more darker and serious chapters in the game so far.
~Durga: The only Yoyogi girl who strives to be number one. Unfortunately she joined the wrong list and wound up in the runner up tier. But for starters Durga has one of my favorite voice actresses who plays a number of my favorite characters in anime and games so I’m glad LifeWonders are capable of getting such talented voice work. As a character I know what this character is mostly about and the event I haven’t really read yet is her initial one so when that gets an official TL I’ll read it to grow more understanding. But from what I have now I can safely put her as one of my favorites because her drive to be number one is inspiring to try your best and everyone should follow her example to some degree. I say that because she really does feel naturally flawed given her alleged age. I won’t spoil much of Dreamland but I will say how Durga’s struggle is further amplified is totally understandable given her position in the group of athletes and her desire to always win and why she always pushes herself to be her best at any cost and it’s definitely something I can see someone doing (without as catastrophic a breakdown when it backfires and just learning what works best for her). As for why she’s not in the other category given my praise of her character is because I don’t have the full story much like with a few prior entries on the list. But when that event does get a TL at some point I do want to read it and finally have the full picture for her so I can rank her properly.
~Kyuma: I shall dub him my Kouhai because he is a first year. A lot of people don’t like Kowmei’s art, myself included, but overall his characters don’t really put me off that much since there’s only one in particular. Kyuma’s good though. He is a good, hardworking kouhai I’d enjoy being around given he seems the most levelheaded of his friends despite his age. Or maybe its because of his age? There’s no grand singular reason he’s on this part of the list. He just needs to be in more events and get an actual alt. That’s all.
~Zao: I wish he was introduced in a better event because he is one of the better characters released in year one. But good lord does his event drag you through the dirt with terrible battles and awful pacing. It’s unfortunate his whole story is dragged down because the game was still in an early spot when this event originally came out. Outdated gameplay aside I think Zao does best in setting the precedent for shop units when it comes to writing and design. I like his arc going from a stubborn mountain man to a more open and accepting person. However he has a similar issue with Kengo where he has to share his spotlight with characters of varying degrees but unlike Kengo the other characters who appear in this event are meant to compliment Zao rather than detract from him.
~Amatsumara: He’s the dad of the Crafters and is who makes the Crafters really feel like a family. Every member feels like they have a role in the Guild and you can really see how much Amatsumara values them. He just seems like the doting father type who gives you noogies and I can respect that. Seeing him interact with characters in Chapter 9 was also one of the more enjoyable aspects of that chapter. I won’t spoil it but it was pretty good.
For the final 2 they’re just characters who’s designs I like a lot and just need to do more research since this game has a lot of characters to try and find information on
~Dagon
~Tomte
And yes, its cuz they’re cute and new. I am shallow… ;u;
Now for the Top 10 favorites, but even then placement can change depending on what LifeWonders plans to do with them down the line.
10. Gunzo: Kicking off this list is the rugby player himself. To start he’s a very dorky athlete. He isn’t the greatest at handling social situations and kind of a goofball when it comes down to it. But those are not bad things, in fact they’re what landed him on the list. His quirkiness is just plain adorable and I do enjoy the antics he and his classmates get into. Not only that but he’s a pretty laid back guy once you get to know him a bit better. It’s his lack of awareness that is his best strength, but worst weakness at times.
9. Kurogane: deep breath ANIKI~!!! Jokes aside Kurogane is the character that when I first saw, I was very disappointed he wasn’t playable. (Then GoGo happened and made me one happy person) and he’s voiced by the same guy who did Broly back in the day so that’s pretty awesome. Kurogane actually likes it a lot when you call him “Big Bro” and I would totally call him that once I found out he did because he’s so wholesome and goodwilled. Plus he does deserve some recognition as someone older since he is the youngest in his Guild. Not only that I can sort of relate to Kurogane’s desire at being an engineer since when I was still attending classes in college that was what I was studying as my major. I can’t quite match the same level of enthusiasm as Kurogane, I do see where his character does come from when tackling certain things, which is how he easily became one of my favorites.
8. Claude: You want a sugar daddy? Claude is probably your guy. So the leader of the Berserkers Guild is a great guy, most of the time. He has his moments where he can get carried away with his own desires rather than doing the correct thing, but honestly there’s something satisfying about a man just taking what he wants. That and well, getting a bit of a wake up call that you can’t just do all of that because you’re bored. His character quest is what really sold me on Claude as a character and something about it felt very real. A lot of it was very vague terminology and confirms Claude’s status as a bottom. Claude is also very intelligent and he’s always trying to make the best move that will benefit the most amount of people, whether or not its for his own interests usually. Also this wouldn’t be your mod if I didn’t mention how good he looks, especially his outfits. Bombom just really knows how to design clothes.
7. Moritaka: Arguably the face of the franchise right after Salomon. Moritaka, to my knowledge, is one of the most popular Housamo characters and to be frank I can see why he would hold that title. He’s just a lovable character with cute art. I really think I show my love for him in my Headcanons so I’ll keep it brief by saying he’s a really enjoyable character.
6. Maria: Our local Lesbian sister will help you find true love, I promise. Maria is another really popular and well-liked character and again I can totally see why. She’s cute as a button and really compassionate towards everyone she meets. And from what I’ve seen from her, Maria is very honest with herself going forward from a certain point which is so satisfying to see. I won’t spoil her entire arc even though her chapters have been out for a while just so you can experience it for yourself. She’s too precious for me to spoil. But her character growth aside, she’s a very compassionate and kind character even to those who aren’t the most kind in return and she even goes out of her way to try and relate to those characters despite the fact they might not make sense.
5. Hephaestus: Here we have my son, please buy him Legos instead of Mega Bloks or he’ll cry. I was a little hesitant with Hephaestus at first to be blunt. He seemed to be quite crude in certain places and really uncaring and a little cliché with his attitude. Plus he’s quite nasty to Talos, often times getting mad at Talos for simply doing what he was made to do. But Chapter 9 really put it into perspective. For spoilers I can’t say what made me turn around from wanting to look away from wanting to just hold him and protect him. All I can say is that he has been put through the wringer and just deserves to be happy.
4. Ashigara: Best bear, Volos stans don’t come for me. I explained it before but Ashigara is a character that tends to radiate “me” energy and I can totally see us being friends in real life. He’s the kind of guy who’d send you memes when your sad but he’d eat all your food, which is why you were sad in the first place. All about give and take.
3. Oniwaka: A bully BF uwu god have mercy but yes. Oniwaka was actually my first ever Housamo summon when I first began to play and on my most recent account (I’ve been on and off with the series until I started this blog and became more of a permanent player) he was my first 5star unit so it weirdly came full circle with him. His alternate skins are an absolute delight to behold and he is no slouch in the writing department after the slog that was Chapter 3. If anything he just got better with each appearance. He was rough around the edges, but seeing his softer sides just warms your heart.
2. Wakan Tanka: Touching down at silver place is my “Housamo Husbando”. Weird I know but let me explain. Wakan Tanka is a character I very much love and cherish, he is a really cute boy who just wants to do good by everyone he meets. He hates treating people especially different which is societal goals. However, he has a tendency to come off as a bit too perfect. While I really like him, he’s also feels more like an ideal than someone who can actually develop and grow. Wakan has basically achieved ascention. As for the top place on this list though…
1. Taurus Mask/Daisuke Ikusaba: Much like how Oniwaka was my first pull, Daisuke was my first Housamo crush. First and foremost his design is what I consider to be very tasteful. It’s both an incredibly attractive outfit, it’s also very appropriate and it isn’t too distracting. Second I love how LifeWonders leans into a character completely and just goes all out with a number of references to their lore or culture. Since Daisuke is a luchador inspired character its really cool to see his Summon Day be May 5th. Thirdly and finally, his writing as a character completely wins me over. He is a shy senior by day, but wrestling prodigy by night. Not only is that badass, but you have the perfect set up and the writer in me squeaks like a little fan girl that I am. Wrestling was never really my thing growing up so while I don’t have any fondness for it in particular, if I had seen Taurus Mask in action you would see me in the crowd shouting for him. Daisuke is just that amazing and why he’s my Number 1 favorite Housamo character.

Sparking the flames of an epic romance is hard enough, but how does one ignite a similar passion for such an innocent plot? If you’re lacking muse for a platonic plot, or simply don’t know how to start one, keep reading below!
First, some personalized tips:
Remember this plot still requires love!
How many times a day do we tell our friends and family we love them? Your characters will feel the same way about their loved ones, even if they’re not romantic interests.
Plot, plot, plot!
Without talking about the direction you want to take the conversation with your roleplay partner, two characters often get stuck chatting about the weather or solely talking about themselves.
If you want to build a friendship, try to have a thread where the two bond either over a common interest, a common hatred or simply enjoying each other’s sense of humor (witty banter leads to great friendships!)
Don’t rush!
We’ve all been there: a cup of coffee shared between two strangers magically bonds them for life as lovers, enemies or friends. You’re aiming for realism, and unless someone has quite the (unfavorably) strong personality, your character isn’t going to immediately hate them. Platonic relationships are the exact same way. They require multiple threads, starting out with small, surface-level conversations as the two get to know each other. Then, in new threads, perhaps one or both of the characters open up to each other.
Warning: your character immediately opening up to another may strike the character and the writer off-guard! Think to yourself: is it in character for my character to spill their life story at this moment? If there’s a shadow of a doubt, don’t do it!
Draw inspiration from life, but don’t write yourself.
This is a good rule of thumb for anyone with any plot, but make sure to stay in character. While you may not be friends with the person you’d like to engage in a platonic plot with, your character might have a certain draw to them that would create a fun friendship! Bonus points if these characters are total opposites.
Below are types of platonic relations and potential platonic plot ideas:
First, here are some types of platonic relationships:
Siblings
Professional relations (co-workers, therapist and patient, intern and therapist, etc.)
Friends
Teammates
Roommates
Have mutual friends (aka a friend of a friend)
Fitness buddies (we have a gym!)
Game together online (doesn’t work here but still good example)
Family of a friend
Here are some platonic plot ideas:
Character A is going through an identity crisis of some sort. Character B is Character A’s best friend and they’re noticing the changes. Character A isn’t being themselves anymore. There’s a distance growing between them. In fact, Character A is getting themselves into situations and doing things they’ve NEVER done before and Character B reacts to this by [a confrontation of your choice, heated/angsty/calm discussion]
Character A and Character B have lead very different lives. They had different childhoods, different adulthoods, they’re two different people but opposites attract and the two become friends. However, Character A (the oversharer) notices Character B never shares any personal information, preferring to goof around and use comedy to avoid answering questions. Character B, broken by their terrible past, begins to harm themselves [ie: you’d need to clear this with the mods but cutting, developing an eating disorder, etc.] Character B grows angry out of embarrassment and avoids Character A for a long time (or they break down in front of Character A). Character A, guilty, finds a way to get Character B alone and offers to help and support them and tries to tell Character B that they believe in them and they’re worth it even when it seems like the world is turning against them. Bonus points if you’re both patients.
Character A and Character B are total opposites. Character A is a wild, free-spirited daredevil. Character B is a loyal introvert who rarely comes out of their comfort zone, if ever. This unlikely pair have a chance encounter in the library and hit it off (witty banter/common interest/common hatred) and they begin hanging out with each other more and more. Character B’s therapist, upon hearing more about Character A, discourages this friendship by stating Character A is a bad influence. Character B disagrees because they love being around someone that shows them a different side of life.
OR: Character A and B are best friends but polar opposites who grow closer due to their differences. Muse/Character A gets into all sorts of trouble all the time and Muse B freaks out about it every time.
Just a sweet back and forth about crazy stories and someone teasingly/sorta seriously chastising another out of platonic love for their friend.
Upon hearing ghost stories about former Forrester generations, Character A doesn’t buy a word of it. Character B, a true believer in the paranormal (or, isn’t “superstitious” but is “a little stitious”) regrets telling the ghost story and is now dragged onto a Myth Busters-esque adventure by Character A. Character A tries to spook Character B during their adventure through Thornewood’s “haunted” halls as they spent the night in Thornewood’s creepy attic where one of the ghost stories takes place. If they spend the night in the attic and nothing happens to them, Muse B must admit that the superstitions are stupid. Muse B reluctantly agrees.
Muse A and Muse B are both nurses in the infirmary. Since they’re both new, they’ve placed bets on who will do better overall treating patients. As they’re doing this, they’re trying not to sabotage their own reputations within the hospital while still playfully sabotaging the other (either through bad-mouthing the other and jokingly recommending patients not see this nurse)
Muse A has always been the quiet type. Sweet-hearted but shy, they are liked by most but…doesn’t really have someone they can truly call a friend. They go about their daily life in mostly quiet, their coming and going never causing much notice. Enter Muse B. Muse B has been deaf since birth, therefore learning sign language to communicate. Despite this fact, Muse B lives louder than anyone Muse A has ever seen. They’re vivacious and full of life—they never let “no” be the final say. The two begin to take notice of each other, but hit a brick wall when they realize they cannot communicate effectively. Muse B begins to teach Muse A how to sign, and their friendship begins to grow into something mere words can’t describe.

I have entirely too many OCs and I won’t ever stop
So, I will list all my OCs here, active or not. I couldn’t just keep reblogging my earlier masterlist with updates because, well, wall of text much?
I try to make sure I have at least 1 character representing each race. Not all of them are canonically Dragonborn, but I’ve marked those who are with (DK) after their name, short for Dovahkiin.
And yes, this is just my Skyrim OCs. Mostly because I play it the most (hi, endless supply of easily installed mods!), and because if I added my ESO, Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall, and Arena OCs, this list would almost literally never stop.
Feel free, nay, ENCOURAGED, to drop asks about these characters because I live to blab about them to anyone in earshot (why else do you run a TES blog?).
First, the actives.
Dunmer: Radene Valos. Great-granddaughter of Queen Barenziah. Nords call her “The Red Wolf” because of how ferociously she fights, usually out of a fearful and begrudging respect. Staunch revolutionary; real Magneto/Lenin red-ragger type. She’s out to improve the lot of the Dunmer in Skyrim by any means necessary and woe betide any who stands in her way or fails to help. Member of the Morag Tong and champion of Azura, Mephala, and Boethiah. Worming her way through the Stormcloaks so she can engineer a situation where all the rotten eggs of the Stormcloaks are in one basket and then blow up the basket. Also steadily poisoning most of the Black-Briar family in slow motion.
Altmer: Tarwen Verenandes (DK), a former Thalmor battlemage during the Great War. Disgusted by the violence on full display during the conflict, she resigned after the war and became a priestess of Auri-El. Her devout piety led to her being chosen by Auri-El/Akatosh to be the Last Dragonborn, and she was also gifted with being able to use Auri-El’s divine light as the basis of her spells.
Khajit: Sonn-Ja Sableclaw, an expert martial artist and assassin. Works for the Dark Brotherhood and is utterly loyal to Astrid. Prefers fisticlaws to weapons, and is absolutely lethal with them. Keeps a massive collection of knives and daggers anyway. Chose to be best friends with Arnbjorn purely for the irony. Worships Rajhin and Baan Dar.
Argonian: Murders-For-Cash, who is exactly what it says on the tin. Also Dark Brotherhood, and a Shadowscale like Veezara, who he treats like a brother. Willing to supervise children and surprisingly good at it but charges exorbitant rates for it. Worships Sithis.
Nord: Lady Gwendolyn Triggs (DK), a knight and thane in the service of Elisif the Fair and also her companion and lover. Noted for her bravery, loyalty, strength, skill in battle, and being steadfastly impossible to kill. Not part of the Imperial Legion any longer, but assists them in their operations during the Civil War anyway to both safeguard Elisif’s claim as High Queen and further her own political standing so that marriage can be an option for them. Worships the 8 post-Concordat Divines, but gives special devotion to Stendarr.
Redguard: Akivasha, an ancient Yokudan vampire Witch Queen who has awakened in the modern era. Practically a physical God. Hangs with the Dark Brotherhood because it’s the only group that has Gabriella in it. Far and away my most overpowered OC and in no way does it make her less fun. Worships Mephala and Boethiah, and begrudgingly acknowledges Molag Bal as the forefather of all vampires.
Imperial: Yezka of Vabonne, an OC who began as just a Rule 63 Geralt of Rivia. She’s a Witcher*. Like Gwendolyn, she’s easily picked out of a crowd due to her pronounced Warrior’s physique and tapestry of battle scars (I have a type). She dislikes political games, roundabout language, beating around the bush, social injustice, marginalization of the vulnerable, and has come to have a steady slow-burning hatred for humans as a general category because of the way she’s been treated over her six decades of monster hunting (she’s 93, but Witchers age super gracefully no matter the timeline). She fits in far better among Orcs, Elves, and the Beast Races who have also been so often mistrusted and ill-treated and has a lot of contacts in those communities. Oddly enough, she has a friends-with-benefits thing going with the vampires Hern and Hert at Half-Moon Mill in Falkreath because they only prey on humans and she’s never been hired to kill them. Worships Reyman Ebonarm, The Divine Black Knight.
?????: The Marked Cinder (DK), a mysterious figure completely shrouded from head to toe in rusty mail and plate that totally obscures his appearance, hiding the fact that he is essentially a charred and withered husk given new life by The Nine Divines. Doesn’t know it, but is no stranger to saving the world as the previous life of that body came to be known as The Eternal Champion during the events of Elder Scrolls Arena. Doesn’t really like or dislike anything, essentially serving as a walking meat grinder with a hunger for the forces of evil. Is closest to Arkay and Akatosh, but tends to regard the gods with equal authority and reverence.
* In my headcanon, Witchers were a kind of Spartan-II-esque initiative by the Vigilants of Stendarr to create “Super Vigilants” that could basically handle anything and everything. Thanks to the systematic alterations done to their physiology, the Witchers proved too difficult to control and due to the body count that arose whenever one went rogue it was a short-lived initiative. Yezka is among those that stayed loyal to the mission, if not to the Vigilants themselves. She’s easily my tallest character, towering over most fellow humans and slightly edging out a fully grown female Altmer due to the mutations she underwent.
Rest in Pepperonis: Inactive Characters I ran out of story for
Bosmer: Vynna the Magpie, a highly talented thief and general renegade with a fiercely vengeful streak towards the Thalmor, and Elenwyn in particular, thanks to their purge of Vynna’s family and village. Married to vengeance, will sleep with everyone else. Best archer of her era. Despite her gruff and macabre bearing and demeanor, plays the organized crime game well enough to be called the Queen-In-Shadows. Worships Y'ffre and Hircine.
Dunmer: Ineria Resvalyn, a Telvanni-descended blood mage and necromancer (her magic is big on total recycling) hailing from House Sadras. Scholar and surgeon first, adventurer second. Eccentric and catastrophically bad at dealing with normal people but makes up for it by having an indispensable skillset. Probably Asperger’s. Can Dunmer even have that? Big on Azura worship.
Breton: Fynnic Ironverse, privateer and bard by trade, full-time Casanova and pain the the ass insufferable know it all by nature. As quick with a blade as he is with his wit. Known far and wide for being the Troubadour who brought the Chicken Dance to Skyrim, for better or worse. His major at the Bard’s College was probably leaning against lampposts at night while taking long drags from his cigarette. Atheist, but his lifestyle aligns neatly with Sanguine’s domain.
Imperial: Alessia Laguardia (DK), former centurion in the Imperial Legion. now a top-tier monster Hunter. Big muscles, bigger scars, even bigger prey. Lives a largely solitary existence except for her dog, Flavia. Fond of impossibly gigantic swords and bows. Largely averse to what most would call decent clothing. Worships Kynareth.
Orc: Khauma Relaadri (DK), winner of Skyrim’s Unluckiest Parentage Award. Half Orc, Half Dunmer. Spat upon by both. Found acceptance in the Imperial Legion, and fights for the unified Empire she feels it represents. Her greatest goal is to be a hero, as it would both please Malacath and serve as a positive role model and example to other put-upon people throughout Tamriel that they can rise, no matter their circumstances. Worships Malacath.
There’s a ton of other characters that I’ve played as over the last 8 years, but above you’ll find the characters I was attached to enough to actually care to remember or keep playing.

Dev-It-Yourself: A Place to Start
I'm a hobbyist games developer not professionally taught in any capacity beyond A-Levels, and one of the biggest hurdles to me actually getting stuck in was feeling as though I didn't “know” enough. I felt, as many do, that I had to be an expert at coding, art, animation and so forth. This was, until I realised, there are actually plenty of resources, tutorials, books, YouTube videos, blogs, and much more besides all dedicated to discussing games, the culture around games, design and development processes and much more besides. I firmly believe that restricting yourself to learning exclusively about video games and nothing else, no other media -be it print or film-, is restrictive and reductive to both the medium and yourself. Plenty of hobbyist/independent developers, such as myself, have used these sources to aid our learning, and frankly, I don't see there being any shame in it in any capacity. If the information is out there, use it. Create with abandon.
Of course, in my other series I talk about how playing games can help too but it is much more than just “playing” games, in the same way I was taught way back when to always be 'reading' [ie, analysing] films as I watched them. As always, I'd say take this advice with a pinch of salt- I'm no professional, I do this in my spare time at an average-ish level. But, this is just a collection of personal resources that have helped me. Later on in the series, I'll be laying out how I've planned, conceptualised, designed and made games I've worked on in all stages. Again, purely anecdotal – I'm no expert.
One of the first places I'd suggest any prospective dev would look to for practice and inspiration would be the modding community. There are plenty of games out there which provide modding tools with them, and these can be a good place to go and practice level design, gameplay concepts, and just messing with basic code structures. GMOD, Half Life, Bethesda Games, even DOOM wads can be great places to begin; you can get a feel for yourself for things that work, how to fit things together organically, even using full conversion mods to take asset creation out of the equation to focus upon writing for a small time. This is where I started, though none of those mods came out, it became a great place for me to practice and eventually, grow confident with concepts.
In a similar vein, there are a few software packages that come with assets and engines inbuilt that can be great ways to practice and develop skills such as level design, writing, and so on; software such as RPG Maker, which comes in all sorts of modules, can be surprisingly versatile. You can use it to make levels from assets known as RTP that come with the engine, use assets provided by the community, or modify pre-existing assets for your own needs. Again, this is something I practiced with a lot as its modular coding system -which comprised of a lot of drag-and-drop and clickables- helped me familiarise myself with logic systems popular within coding, as well as how to design levels to look and “feel” good. And, once you've gotten familiar with the basics you can familiarise yourself with basic tileset rules, layers, and interfaces – and, with a bit of creativity, these can become unique ways to make games. I've seen scanned-in images, photographs, hand-drawn assets all utilised with RPG Maker to make something wholly unique. Check out Middens and Mortis Ghost's OFF for two examples of unique, stylised art created with RPG Maker in two completely different styles.
For practicing code at a base level, a basic grasp of HTML is often a great place to start. Software like Twine enables you practice both story-telling,and basic code from hyperlinks and hypertext to more complex code such as branching choices or choose-your-own style adventures. You can even incorporate text, audio and macros which, again, is a higher level of code, though by no means as difficult as it can be, it can be really useful for practicing basics of these skill-sets.
The reason I suggest most of these as good starting bases is one primary reason: asset creation takes a long time. Making your first project might well be forefront in your mind but I've learned, mostly through trial and error – and a lot of error at that – is that you need to focus on specifics when teaching or learning. If you try to learn coding, asset creation, animation, all at the same time it is possible but often not manageable, or at least not in my experience. By saying to myself “I'm going to focus on HTML”, it has allowed me to properly learn and understand the fundamentals without getting distracted by art direction too. All of the software I have recommended comes with in-built assets or at its core requires no asset use at all and this is useful for zeroing in on what you need to focus upon. Maybe you're already good at level design, and through experimentation you realise this and decide to focus upon animation or character deisgn.
And, when you want to take that next step these programs also have, either through the ability to edit or bring in your own assets, ways to practice and hone your other skills in relatively streamlined ways. RPG Maker tileset functionality was important for me to learn two things: multi-frame animations, and how to correctly place tilesets. Neither is particularly complex, but if you get one bit wrong in a tileset it can throw the whole asset off, and whittling down the animations to four key frames, to communicate the essentials, was a useful skill to learn even as I expanded to larger animations.
Another piece of software that I have found invaluable was PICO-8, a virtual console that you build and execute games with and, the slightly more complex but still ultimately easy for beginners Voxatron, from the same people. Everything in that is inbuilt so you build your assets and code within the engine, then the virtual console does the rest. It allows for easy exportation and initial conceptualisation – I've heard that the first build of Celeste was built in it.
Once I felt as though RPG Maker had taught me all it could, I moved on to looking for open-source games engines for more complex experimentation. I've dabbled with Unity, Godot, and a few others besides that. I use Game Maker a lot these days, just because it agrees with me the best. What works for me and what works for you will probably be entirely different, so don't take my word for it- look into documentation, experiment with the engines mentioned yourself, find what works for you. And remember, most importantly; everyone starts somewhere, don't give up because your first idea/s don't come together as you anticipated, or end up “rubbish”. Keep going, keep creating.

DRAGON AGE QUESTIONS
tagged by: @nordxz thanks so much !!! *heart emoji*
favourite game of the series?
origins! although inquisition is very close as well. inquisition was my favourite for a very time, but like midway through last year i replayed origins and it just felt.....so good. i really struggled with enjoying dao because of the clunky fighting system but an amazing mutual introduced me to a mod that lets u skip fights basically lol, so i was just able to focus on the story/characters/exploration of the game, which just....made me realize how immensely beautiful the game actually is, and i fell in love all over again aaaaa
how did you discover dragon age?
i was a huge mass effect fan ! mass effect was the game that motivated me to make this blog, actually, and obviously through following people i saw a lot of posts from the da community as well. so i bought origins and inquisition (i had NO idea there was a da2 until half way through awakening lmao) and tried to play origins but HATED it gtrhutgrhugtr and then eventually gave it another try like a month later and completely loved it and now here we are
how many times you’ve played the games?
not as many times as some people on here have - i would say origins maybe four times, da2 maybe twice, inquisition three times. but that also doesnt count all the timesw ive created new games and then abandoned them lol bc theres too many to count
favourite race to play as?
love me some elf booty ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
favourite class?
at first it was rogue dual wielder ! i played as a rogue in every single first-time playthrough and idk i felt that class has always been the easiest/most op. but in the last maybe 2 years it’s changed to mage. ive always been super intimidated by magic classes in every game i play but i LOVE inquisition’s mage classes/specializations and i can never go back now
do you play through the games differently or do you make the same decisions each time?
im so so so bad and i usually end up making very similar choices, but usually bc i just......replay the same characters every time hgtuhgtruhgtrui. i REALLY need to make more da ocs to explore more choices but....i dont want to lol i already have to many. i still havent sided with the templars in a playthrough like i just cant do it
go-to adventuring group?
i always bring my characters love interest with them no matter what, just bc its cute, but usually i try to evenly cycle the other characters around that. i always try to have a warrior/rogue/mage in every party. but sometimes i’ll go warrior/warrior/mage/mage especially if i need to focus on straight damage and a LOT of healing lol
my favourite parties would probably be:
dao - alistair + zevran + wynne (wholesome and also funny)
da2 - anders + fenris + merrill (SO much chaotic energy)
dai - solas + cassandra + cole (i just love them ok)
which of your characters did you put the most thought into?
ashara lavellan, my canon inquisitor who was never supposed to be canon tghtgurhtrg. my original canon inq was a trevelyan rogue, who was super nice and good. i made ashara so that i could actually play as an evil/mean character without feeling bad lol, oh and i also wanted to see what the deal with solas was bc i had heard his romance was good ;;;;) anyway that backfired and i ended up completely falling in love with her, and i STILL couldnt make the tough choices with her so i was like ok maybe she isnt THAT evil and now shes just..... the way she is now i guess lmao
favourite romance?
trhhtruih okay u guys KNOW its solas. u know. i dont even have to say anythiing about it bc...u fucking know
(alistair’s is very close tho)
have you read any of the comics/books?
i havent :(((( im such a bad fan but i cannot deal with ordering online and thats the only place ive been able to find them. im planning on reading asunder and the masked empire as soon as i get the chance (and the money) tho !!
if you read them, which was your favourite book?
nope
favourite DLCs?
trespasser ! its pretty simple and very plot-driven like u didnt have to worry about side missions as much as u would with other dlcs so idk that was... refreshing. but obviously i loved it just bc it was so beautiful and intense and sad (since my chara romanced solas obviously) and that music score????? unbelievable i’ll never be over it
things that annoy you.
can i say the fandom trghuitgrhutrhui
mostly the thing that pisses me off the most is the grey morality. writers trying to make everything deep and Thought Provoking like..... no jerry, slavery IS bad theres no alternative viewpoint lol??????? also the fucking whitewashing makes me see red.
orlais or ferelden?
ferelden!!!!! (*blows a kiss* for highever)
templars or mages?
mages <3
if you have multiple characters, are they in different/parallel universes or in the same one?
i only have like 3 protag da characters and they’re all canon, although emeraude is an au. so ella is my canon warden and ashara is my canon inquisitor, but emeraude does exist in that universe, bc i hc she befriended the warden and alistair when they visited the alienage, and she was very outspokenly angry and didn’t really give a shit that alistair was going to be heir. which alistair really,,, appreciated i guess? so emeraude is made his official elven adviser after his coronation but she also kinda helps out as a royal protector because she’s one of the only people in court they both trust completely lol. also she is....stronk.
and the only other characters i have for da are obviously side characters who are related to my canon protags so. they’re all canon as well lol
what did you name your pets? (mabari, summoned animals, mounts, etc)
ella named her dog ser bark gthutgrhutghruihtr she thought it was cute ok
emeraude just went with barkspawn since alistair came up with the idea as a joke but she thought the joke was so bad she made them keep it as punishment vjhuightui
i dont really have a hawke oc but.....he named his dog shepard in my playthrough ! like from mass effect ;;;;)))
have you installed any mods?
origins is modded to hell and back and i genuinely couldn’t play the game without mods at this point. inquisition is slightly modded but im in the process of removing them all, and only keeping a few because my game runs pretty terribly with them installed
did your warden want to become a grey warden?
ella did ! but it was kind of,, a naive childhood dream, she had a really romanticized view of the wardens and she wanted a life of excitement and bravery and adventure, not really taking into consider all the bad things about it (and obviously not knowing the full truth about what it means to be a warden)
emeraude did NOT want to be a warden. she basically had to be dragged out of the alienage because she wanted to stay and protect her community. she never really enjoyed being a warden, although her friendship with alistair was its one redeeming quality
hawke’s personality?
uh i cant remember the colour/personality thing but he was a combo of funny/ethical. mostly there for memes tho.
did you make matching armor for your companions in inquisition?
for origins i do ! i always make sure alistair and ella wear the grey warden armour, as well as every warden in awakening. thats like, all theyre allowed to wear lmao.
if your character(s) could go back in time to change one thing, what would they change?
ella would obviously change her family’s murder lol, and emeraude would at least try and change what happened at her wedding, to prevent shianni and the others from being hurt.
ashara would change romancing solas :((( she was so angry at herself after discovering who he was, and she felt weak and foolish which she HATES more than any other feeling, so she definitely wishes she had never met him for a long time. after she kind of processes it though, and learns to deal with her anger, her answer would be that she wishes she had saved the chargers. it’s the one move she made that actually keeps her up at night sometimes.
do you have any headcanons about your character(s) that go against canon?
ghuitrhuigtrhugtr so many. canon? dont know her.
the biggest example would be that i hc king!alistair was at the winter palace during the wicked hearts level. because uh..... celene and the fereldan monarchs had been corrosponding for over 10 years, trying to build up rapport, of COURSE the king would be there to see who the potential ruler/s of orlais would be and whether or not he ought to be worried. like. im sorry but alistair was there lol you can’t change my mind. i also hc he helps ashara with information about the grey wardens during this chapter, because ???? it just makes sense??? im so angry i wish this was canon
are any of your characters based on someone?
ok it was unintentional but ashara reminds me of an english teacher i had in highschool who was very scary but also....really cool and i loved her. it was an accident but,, still counts.
who did you leave in the fade?
gtiturghtugh okay at the risk of pissing off EVERYBODY who reads this, i left hawke in the fade, even though it was a toss up between hawke and stroud. it was ashara’s fault tho !!! she would have 100% prioritzed an alliance with the grey wardens over like,, some guy. it broke my heart but yeah That happened.
favourite mount?
i like all the elk mounts mostly ! but i never use them bc they sound ugly af
tagging : @trvelyans @f3nharel @allisondraste @ensevens @tethraas @talizorah @fereldun if u are up to it <3 and whoever else wants to do this !

Although your choice of filters is more limited, Instagram offers photo editing and sharing without a subscription fee. The app also tends to crash during certain actions, including uploading and editing. For example, subscribing or unsubscribing is far from a straightforward task. Generally, the app is easy to use, but some processes struggle to run smoothly. What keeps them on the VSCO platform, though, is the gallery-like, non-judgemental environment. VSCO’s photo editing tools are excellent, which is what probably draws many teens to the app. In order to appeal to creative people, the app itself has to work brilliantly.

Heya Songie, hope you're doing well! I'm going to buy a game on steam but not sure what should i buy. I tried to play Outlast but it scare the shit out of me. I'm thinking to buy The Witcher trio, but i wanted to ask you. I want to buy a game that has a great story, the gameplay and graphics don't bother me at all. What is your advice? Other than horror i can play any games!
Oh I don’t play PC much: I only have the Fallout series and Skyrim in my Steam archive. All of the other games I’ve played are always on PS4.
I remember a few cool PC games (and a few games that aren’t exclusive), though, so I’d recommend:
Fallout 3, 4, and New Vegas: Legit if you haven’t played any of them I urge you to. Don’t care what anyone says, the games’ stories are always what drag me in and despite FO4′s shortcomings, specifically when it came to story DLC (they only had 2, Far Harbor was fantastic but Nuka World needed more to it), all of them delivers. Not just that, the mods. You want a game that can tell new stories over and over and over? Fallout provides that just fine alone, like you always discover something new even if it’s like your 20th playthrough, but it’s the mods that helps the game shine. I’m talkin’ the quest mods and complete overhauls into a new game. For example? Fallout The Frontier: I’m super excited for that one to drop. I’m keeping my eye on another, Fallout: Miami. Or Fallout 4: New Vegas, in which it’s basically building Fallout New Vegas from the ground up using Fallout 4 as a base. The remake we deserve but probably will never get. What is essentially a full remake, another a completely new game... All for the stunning price of... nothing. You get it for free thanks to these amazing people putting their worth into this shit. If you can, support your modders. They do some good work, dare I say better work putting so much care into their creations of the game.
Elder Scrolls Skyrim: Bro it’s basically the same deal here as it is with Fallout: get it for the game itself and it’s fun base-game stories, stay for the fantastic mods. They also feature DLC-sized mods, mods that are essentially brand new games, and once more the modding community continue to amaze me with their dedication.
Ori and the Blind Forest: I watched this game since I didn’t buy it myself and it is gorgeous.
Cuphead: if ya don’t mind being angry, I hear it’s hard but great. I admire it deeply for its animation style.
Stardew Valley: I actually played this one but on the PS4. It doesn’t have like a full and deep story but what’s great about this game is that it’s very relaxing, aesthetically pleasing, and it’s the characters that are surprisingly well written and have complex personalities you get to discover through tiny cutscenes.
The Walking Dead (telltale): Fucking fantastic game, specifically the first two series. 3 was aight, with Clementine stealing the show (but I personally wasn’t interested in playing it because you didn’t get to play as Clementine exclusively like no thx I wanna see Sweetpea.)
The Witcher 3: It looks like a truly beautiful game with a deep and engaging story, so much so that I’m considering playing it myself.
ARK Survival: Okay so, in my opinion ARK isn’t actually worth it’s price tag, primarily because of the toxicity of PVP (like it’s moreso than usual) and the plethura of bugs it has and the admittedly shady practices of its developer. Now, that said? I love the game. For all of it’s faults, it’s honestly really fun: I prefer solo play but if you get a good band of buds to play with on PVP or PVE it’s even more fun. It has like.. some sort of semblance of a story, but it’s mostly just background noise, but this game is absolutely fantastic if you like a game that gives you the tools to essentially create your own story and essentially roleplay it out. That’s what me and my friends kinda did and we used to play the game for hours and days at a time because of it. I’ll tell ya’ll some of the shit we got up to later, I fondly remember them.
7 Days to Die: It’s a lot like ARK in that it doesn’t actually have much of a story to tell (in this case. barely at all) so it’s up to you and your friends (or just you if solo) to make one up and roleplay it. Unlike ARK, this game is sinfully cheap for the amount of fun it provides and don’t let it’s dated-like graphics fool you. It is a very solidly built game and some of the most fun I’ve had with a zombie game in years. It’s also on sale right now I think?
MASS EFFECT SERIES: YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY BUT THIS IS LEGIT MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME???? FUCK. I love this game! The characters, all of them are so well written and compelling and arguably the best part of the game. The atmosphere is breathtaking, especially the places you get to visit while playing the game (especially Andromeda like wow the game’s gorgeous), the gameplay is fantastic (it has it’s flaws but it works for the game for sure), the dialogue is some of the best I’ve experienced, and the story honestly makes you feel like every little thing you do in the game actually matters. Like everything has it’s rewards and everything has a small story to tell in this game: it’s why when I replay the entirety of it I play all of the games from the very first one to Andromeda. Now, I will say if you’ve never played this game I highly recommend playing the first one first. Not only because of the story but because, as much as I adore the game, the gameplay is.... well. It’s kinda bad. Like it’s legit my least favorite to play because it can be kinda taxing in the gameplay aspect, specifically combat and that goddamned Mako. Also don’t just listen to all of the naysayers about Andromeda if you decide to play it because honestly, it is not that bad. And in comparison to the first? It does a much better job with setting up the series (if we ever get more of it, fuckin’ EA) than the first does, especially the characters. But like all games, I just recommend that you play them and make that judgement for yourself whether or not you think it’s worth your time.
Dragon Age series: I’ve never played the first, I will be playing the second soon, but I have played the third and I’m honestly surprised by how much it impressed me? This game seems to get a bad rep for a lot of stuff but from my perspective as a newcomer, it was a lot of fun to play and the story was fun and the cutscenes, when they mattered, were goosebumps inducing. That scene, the scene where they show their faith in you? I’m not gonna spoil it but jesus. The combat takes some getting used to but overall a fun game with a fun story and, once again, it’s the characters that draw me in.
Far Cry Series: From what I hear the stories are good enough as well as the gameplay and, from my experience playing the 5th one, that’s all true. I dunno about the rest of them but the 5th’s ending though? It’s total shit. I’d recommend playing it because, despite the bugs and some bullshit physics it honestly was really fun and the story did keep me interested to the bitter end. I’m just angry at how they ended it. Yeesh.

Your favorite pub/dev is shady
I spend a lot of time dragging Publishers like EA, Activision, Ubisoft, and others. As warranted and deserved as it is, we can’t become too dreamy-eyed even in the cases of our favorite faces in gaming. So with this post, I wanted to take a rock to the stained glass windows of your favorite companies and some of mine. In the words of Run the Jewels “Kill your masters”.
Bethesda
Creation Club is one of the biggest issues beyond the more notorious faults of the infamous Bethesda. Creation Club is paid mods. I don’t care what Pete Hines says, when you pay money to modify the game it’s paid fucking mods dude. This is a direct encroachment on one of the best and most pure aspects of PC gaming. Modding turns games into different experiencing, fixes the bugs that a lot of their games ship with and never get fixed because it’s “part of the charm” or “just works”. Which brings me to my next point: Bethesda is the only studio in gaming that gets away with this every single time. Ubisoft put out AC Unity and was grilled for months after release about facial texture issues and whatnot. Everyone gets railed while Bethesda gets a pass every time. Also, can we talk about how one year ago from this E3 Bethesda was waving the single player flag as high and hard as they can? Only to bring out Fallout76 and it’s an online shared world game. I have no problem with doing things differently or moving in a different direction for a non-main title game. Perhaps maybe you should’ve held off on this for another year or two? Made it less of a surprise? I think a lot of fans will come around to this title but the sharp pivot is understandably jarring and Bethesda maybe should’ve anticipated that. Alongside the mighty shitty practice of pre-ordering for a beta code....what the fuck kind of “money now” bullshit is that. That literally defeats the purpose of a beta for a lot of people. Getting to test out this wildly different experience is important to people that care about the franchise but just aren’t willing to pay for something they aren’t sure they’re going to enjoy. A reasoning that is perfectly understandable in my opinion. I love Bethesda but holy god do they get away with murder without so much as a strange look from the majority of people.
Microsoft
I’ll get the obvious issue of console exclusives out of the way. This is straight up disgraceful the way they do the loyal fans of Xbox. Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, Forza Motorsport 7, Halo Wars 2, and Cuphead. Remove Cuphead from that list and it’s a little pathetic especially considering some big name exclusives they had for the 360 (Saints Row, DoA4, Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, N3). The Xbox One’s initial reveal and release state were woefully tone deaf. A sad attempt to pander to gimmicks that shouldn’t be the focus of a console: motion sensors and television streamlining. Yes, they eventually corrected that mistake but to even consider such a poor decision was clearly a poor attempt to reach everyone but gamers. This entire generation was a bit of a misstep, unfortunately, outside of the impressively powerful Xbox One X there is next to nothing for Microsoft to actually boast about outside of the new console benchmark. What games have they contributed to their fanbase and loyal customers? This aspect isn’t so much shady as it is dumb. From the release of the One X with no games. To the games they backed so fervently only for them to flop hard. It’s clear they’re working on it given the recent studio acquisitions and the shift in focus some studios are going to be making. Why they had to forsake an entire generation for this to happen is simply beyond me.
Nintendo
Between their online service and the interesting terms/ conditions of said service. The shitty pre-orders they offer for said internet service which is one of the most insane requests of a company I’ve ever heard of. Can we talk about the vice grip on their content/IPs? Ever notice you don’t see much Nintendo content on YouTube? Seriously look up anything Nintendo and the new games many videos don’t feature unique gameplay. I’m not saying there aren’t any videos but it’s known that Nintendo can and will take down any video they see fit. Yes, it’s well within their rights as a company to do so. However, when Nintendo is doing it to fans, people who are trying to celebrate and appreciate what they’ve done, it comes across as wildly ungrateful. Especially when ya know, they wouldn’t be anything without the wildly enthusiastic customer base. Prime example: a YouTuber recreated the Bomb-omb Battlefield stage in Unity. It was nostalgic, beautiful, and kind of funny. What did Nintendo do? They order a DMC Takedown on the video. A harmless recreation video this wasn’t even any kind of playable game and wasn’t going to be. What was the point of this? Who benefits? They could’ve capitalized and got to work on a remake, tell me that wouldn’t sell. Instead, they insist on hurting fans for what boils down to free advertisement. I think Nintendo is so focused on being Nintendo that they’ve lost what it means to be...Nintendo. If that makes sense.
Sony
Sony has been hacked so many times I genuinely think Paul Blart runs their cyber security department. Sony needs to get their shit together in this area of their service ya know the cornerstone of the console in the modern era. Alongside that, Sony is very pressed on keeping their system and IP, and everything about it very isolated. Xbox and Nintendo are down for cross-play and Sony is sitting in the corner arms crossed not wanting to join in. When they know damn well that’s where all this is going anyway. Not to mention their strange aversion to modding on titles that lead to strangled communities in games like Skyrim and Fallout4. I’ve also already talked about PSNow v GamePass and how much better GamePass is despite it coming out years after PSNow. Yes this section is short but the problems are very big and potentially damaging to Sony and their reputation. They need to get on the ball or find themselves in Microsoft’s position come the next generation.
Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar and 2k)
TTI as a publisher is deceptively devious. They lay low and in the background unlike EA making sure everyone knows when a subsidiary works on a game that it’s also theirs. Take-Two owns two very prominent developers in the industry (2k and Rockstar) and they know it because at every turn they are monetizing them. GTA 5 is amazing, GTA online is a pay to win crapshoot. Planes costing an upwards of 20 to 40 real-world dollars. The in-game currency is difficult to earn in massive quantities required to pay such exuberant price tags. The shark cards were so well implemented it made GTA the most lucrative entertainment franchise of all time. They were so successful that games like NBA 2k and Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature them. Games that do not need them at all and only make the games a lifeless money hole. RDD2 isn’t out but the publisher already stated that monetization was going to be a focus on their games from here on out.

Script Mods Sims 4

Best Script Mods Sims 4
Script Mods Sims 4 Fantayzia
Documents Electronic Arts The Sims 4 Mods.Do NOT put them in your Program Files path. Remember.ts4scripts can only go ONE sub-folder deep inside your mods folder. For example, when adding ScarletSimCityLoans.ts4script: Correct (it can go in the CustomFolder): Documents Electronic Arts The Sims 4 Mods CustomFolder.
Sims 4 Mods: Getting Started with Python Scripting (November Patch Update) For those familiar with Script modding (and those trying to learn it), Andrew over at Sims4Studio has updated the unpyc used for Script Mods for the upcoming November patch. He also posted a very easy to follow tutorial on how to get started.
To install Sims 4 mods, download the mod you'd like to use. Find your download with a file explorer and simply drag and drop or copy and paste it into your Sims 4 'Mods' folder. The game should.
Here is the list of 20 best Sims 4 Mods 2020: Sims 4 Mods. These Sims 4 mods have everything from minor modifications to complete rework. New ones keep on coming almost every week. However, it may be hard to keep track of which ones are the best. Many of the Sims 4 mods have not been updated for years, and any official game updates may make.
Food Delivery Service. Cooking in the Sims takes a long time. Spending 4 hours to make some nasty eggs just isn’t worth it, so order in! This mod is a huge upgrade to the pizza delivery service, and we love it.
Sims 4 has the best career paths of all the Sims games.
It’s one of those things that EA has truly perfected throughout the years, and the many modern careers are a big draw for this newest installment.

However you can never really have enough careers in a Sims game.
People who like to start many different saves often like to have their sims follow different career paths, and there comes a point where you’ll run out of new careers to try (or you’ll simply find many of them not as interesting as others).
And that’s why we have mods mods to keep the game interesting.
After scouring the web I’ve put together this post of all the best career mods that you can download right now.
There are hundreds of career mods for the game, but many of them are bland and not truly well developed.
But worry not–I’ve filtered all the low-effort mods to present only the best ones to save you the time and trouble of searching around. Have a peek and see what grabs your interest.
20. Retail
Working in retail is one of the most underrated careers in the world.
The hours are long, the work is hard, and customers can be quite a pain to deal with.
There’s no reason why a virtual human wouldn’t love this career, though!
And with this mod you can have your sim work the life of a retail salesperson by working their people skills to net profits for the store.
This rabbit hole career will let your sim live the same experience as many people have to live in real life. There’s nothing more realistic than having a young adult work in retail to try living on their own.
The modern world at its finest, am I right?
19. Animal Care
Is your sim an animal lover?
Well this mod will allow your sim to care for animals all around the world, helping protect endangered species and being one with nature by helping wildlife survive.
With the animal care career add-on you will become the protector of nature that you might be dreaming of becoming in real life.
After all, there’s no better way to earn a living than by helping others – nature needs our help!
18. Filmmaker
Spielberg, Tarantino, watch out.
With the filmmaker career you will be able to become the most famous movie director in the entire world(well, the Sims world).
Have your sim grow from an amateur filmmaker to one of the world’s leading directors.
This career has many riches waiting for you. And with very creative branches and descriptions for each level, work has definitely been put into making this one of the best deeper careers in the entire Sims 4 modding community.
What films will your sim make? Are you going to be a science fiction director, or more of a rom-com movie maker? Movie magic is in your hands.
17. Ultimate Educator
Being an educator is one of the noblest yet underpaid professions in the entire world.
Thankfully this mod doesn’t let a teacher’s wages fall below the average earnings of a regular sim, and there are many branches to choose from too.
You can even reach a high level in the academy branch and have them become the director of a university. How cool!
If you want your sim to become a teacher then go straight ahead and download this mod. You won’t be disappointed with what this career path offers.

Compare the estimated mpg to the estimated mpg of other vehicles.
16. Makeup Artist
Being a makeup artist is probably the dream of many girls around the world.
But becoming one isn’t an easy as it seems – even if the talent is there.
This mod allows any sim to become a makeup artist with enough time.
But beware – the road to the top is full of challenges and becoming the best makeup artist won’t be easy. You know how gossipy those salons can be.
15. Fitness Instructor
The fitness life is not for everyone.
But there’s not really a clear way to choose it in the Sims 4 unless you go with the bodybuilder aspiration.
With the fitness instructor career, your sim works to help others become the fitness monsters that they wanna be. It’s inspiring and educational, and might even help you get in the gym a bit more.
Spread the words of health and teach others how to follow the footsteps of your sim’s healthy lifestyle.
14. Modeling
It doesn’t matter whether your sim is male or female; models are always wanted by companies if they’re good enough.
With this mod you can have your sim pretty easily become a paid model. If only it was this easy in real life…
Be aware that you’ll need to remain in the most pristine physical shape if you want to succeed in this career, and doing so won’t be as easy as it sounds.
Stay away from junk food, make sure you lift weights, do runs, and get enough sleep. Making money with your beauty is possible if you stay on top of it.
13. Game Dev
Developing video games has to be one of the most sought-after careers in the modern world.
However not many people get into it because you need to have a lot of programming knowledge if you wish to succeed. Even then, creativity plays a huge part in your success as a game developer. After all, not everyone can create the next Sims franchise!
But if you want your virtual friend to help you feel what it’s like to work in the gaming industry you can try out this mod and have your sim develop games for the world’s most famous companies.
Simply download the mod and apply for the initial role to move into a Game Dev career path. Also this is a bit meta so it’s really quite entertaining.
12. Therapist
Being a therapist might not be everyone’s dream career.
Yet those who do manage to chase this path often help others far beyond their wildest of dreams.
It’s a tough job and it requires a lot of mental strength, but if you think that your sim is up for it then go ahead and take them through this mod.
The later stages of this career allow your sim to make quite a significant amount of money, so the hard work will eventually pay off.
11. Mortician
I’ve added the mortician career mod amongst the best career mods in the Sims 4 because it’s so unique and probably unthinkable to become a mortician in such a fun game.
I mean, we know EA/Maxis would never add this. So I’m really happy with this mod’s ingenuity.
Experience the grim side of life in The Sims 4 by taking care of the deceased. This forces your sim work closely with the dead and helping to send them on their way to a better life on the other side.
10. Oceanography
The ocean. The strangest place that the Earth has to offer, and same goes for our friendly sims fellows too.
We’ve managed to discover some of its mysteries with the latest Island Living expansion pack, but there are still many things that lie at the bottom of the ocean waiting to be discovered.
Well now you can have your sim study the oceanic landscape and become a prolific scientist with this free oceanography career mod!
This is one those careers that you probably didn’t know you wanted in the game until you saw it. And while it hasn’t appeared much in older titles, now you have the chance to try it out.
9. Psychologist
The strain of being a psychologist takes a toll on most sims. And it’s only natural for them to come home feeling tense(basically a therapist with a doctorate).
Best Script Mods Sims 4
Apart from the satisfaction that it provides to help others, being a top-rated psychologist in the world of Sims 4 can see you rack up those stacks of simoleons quite fast.
You get to help people and become wealthy doing it. What more do you need?
8. Medical (4 Branches)
Let’s face it: being a doctor in the Sims has never really felt quite right.
Options don’t seem as aplenty, and there’s just something that feels to be lacking.
Sure, the Get to Work expansion did wonders to the scientific career. But medicine has always been a weak spot in the Sims.
Even though this mod only adds one deep career path, there are 4 branches that you can choose to follow as a doctor with this mod.
These 4 specialties are dermatologist, cardiologist, plastic surgeon, or a pediatrician. Some pretty varied options that I think add a lot of creativity into the mix.
7. Animal Rescuer
https://loadholiday383.tumblr.com/post/656877697345159168/usb-interface-protocol-for-owi-robotic-arm-edge-for-mac. There are so many innocent animals that don’t have a future because they either get abandoned by their owners or left behind by their parents.
Not to mention some terrible living conditions that animals need to be saved from. Even virtual animals.
With this mod your sim can help out those animals in need and work for the biggest shelter in the city.
Pay the bills all while making the world a better place for our lovable pets.
6. Daycare
Caring for a child is not a job everyone can handle.
Many people, in fact, are not fond of children at all.
If your sim loves to spend their time caring for the needs of children then you should consider making them follow the daycare worker career path.
You’ll be caring for the next generation’s best & brightest so make sure you’re up to the task.
5. Singer
Being a musician is incredibly fun. Getting on stage, touring, what’s not to love?
That said… why is there a singing skill if your sim can’t become a singer?! It makes no sense!
This mod fixes that – and boy does it make the game feel far more complete.
With a singer career you can live the dream of becoming the next big thing in the musical world without having to pick up a guitar to do it – although that would definitely help so don’t shy away from the instruments.
4. Real Estate
Working in real estate is for sure a great way to earn.

It may not be your childhood dream but it’s certainly a mature career choice.
Sims cannot really get into the business of selling properties in the vanilla game, but with this mod you can have your sim sign up for the real estate career and have them become experts in the selling game.
And if you do good work you’ll see plenty of bonuses.
3. Rocket Scientist
You can actually be a rocket scientist in The Sims 4, but there’s no career for it!
With the skill of rocket science already implemented in the game, becoming a rocket scientist just makes sense. Special thanks for this mod because it also adds a sense of completion to the game.
You can now have your sim walk the career path of one of the most difficult scientific careers on Earth – and take it all the way to outer space as you advance in ranks!
Rocket scientists are very well paid and respected too.
If you think your sim has what it takes to become a respected rocket scientist then go ahead and pick up this job. Rewards are aplenty at the latter stages of this career.
2. Social Services
Irresponsible simmers have probably felt the wrath of social service workers many times in their life as Sims players.
With this mod you’ll be able to have your sim work for them!
It’s still a rabbit hole career but there’s nothing quite as fun as seeing your sim work for a company that so many sim parents despise.
In any case, working for Social Services is nothing but an honorable profession. Help protect children from awful parents and shine as a state worker with this career mod.
1. YouTuber
Sure, the filming station might help you become a famous vlogger in The Sims 4.
But with this mod you’ll be able to actually become a famous YouTuber and watch your career propel you all the way into internet stardom!
We’ve all dreamt of becoming a YouTuber one day, or if we haven’t then we can at least admit it’s a cool way to make money. Well now your sim can actually do it with this incredibly modern and creative mod.
No matter what mod you choose just remember the Sims is all about variety and having fun. Maybe download a few, try them all out, and let us know what your favorites are.
