The Goo grabbed the Very BESTEST Meat Instructions it could FIND! The Goo is also a collective and did not AGREE on what the "Best" WAS. But it's... okay, no, I can't lie to you, it is NOT fine.

But thankfully it IS stable.

Because Ectoplasm may be dumb and indiscriminate as super-bacteria with a flamethrower, but it is a MASTER at the jigsaw of Life. It can reanimate ANYTHING.

Including the now SINGLE MOST CHIMERAD MAN you've ever SEEN. Who is he related too? YES. His left knee is Kryptonian, the fingers on his right hand are Tameranian, his skin tone has shifted to the most ambiguously multi-ethnic tone imaginable (think that future of humanity mock up, where they combine every ethnicity on the premise that inter-racial marriage will becoming increasingly common up to the point where we all just kinda look averaged out thanks to the ease of travel) because it's trying to do all of them at once and none of them are willing to back down, because all of them got the instructions "Be Skin". He might have Slade Wilson's cheek bones and hair.

Danny wakes up and basicly is half Ectoplasmic Goo, half the extended Super Community.

AND CANT GET BACK HOME TO FIX IT.

Because of course this IS fixable. It's just medical shape-shifting. But without HIS template, undamaged. His body is REFUSING to change from what is OBVIOUSLY the CORRECT form. And he keeps getting clocked as "probably related to me".

Charlie Timeline pt. 1

Hihi chat! I decided to throw caution to the wind and I'm gonna post Charlie's timeline in 3 separate parts. This part, (Part 1), is Charlie's life before they started working at the Colorado location. All of which will be under the cut for people's sanity. WARNING THERE IS. SO MUCH.

SO, Charlie was born in 1955, they were the quiet second child of Stella and Simon Deere, who weren't fond about having to raise another kid right after finally being done with their firstborn. When Charlie turned 3, that's when they started to leave Charlie at the Arizona Freddy Fazbender's.

Charlie was a really timid kid, not really knowing how to act around people. When nighttime came, they hid in the kitchen to sleep and avoid being found out by the manager at the Fazbender's, John Patterson. After around 2 weeks though, he noticed Charlie being a regular despite never seeing their parents, and unofficially adopts them. He does his best to raise them and provide for them when he can.

This is where Charlie's brother, Aaron, comes in! When he could, he would pick Charlie up from the Fazbender's and bring them back home. When Charlie was 3, he was 20, having moved out recently himself. He helps John provide for Charlie, but going through his own issues, isn't really there for Charlie besides picking them up and his monthly visits with them.

This leads us to The EventTM! If you're familiar with the Arizona location in Dayshift, you'll know that Dave YEETED Foxy off the side of the Grand Canyon. That still happens here with one addendum. John goes with. And as far as anyone knows, John died jumping into the canyon. He left all his belongings and trailer to Charlie. The trailer is where Charlie spends pretty much all of their time, either teaching themselves from the books John left behind or just. spiraling. The majority of their self destructive tendencies started around here, as Aaron started visiting less and less as well.

At 23, Charlie finally has enough and packs the trailer up to move. Aaron drives them to the airport where they head for Colorado. Why Colorado? They recall John talking about a colleague who worked there, and Charlie hopes they can meet them. In this time period they take up whittling, making little figures of people they know or knew. Also not so fun fact, Aaron driving Charlie to the airport is the last time he ever sees or hears from them :D

Moving swiftly on, here are Charlie's neighbors! Totally not just human Dialtown Oliver and Randy!! cough. Oliver runs the local cinema nearby and also is the owner of the building. Him being the friendly guy he is of course tried multiple times to catch Charlie as they leave their apartment on the rare occasion to say hi. It takes a few months but Oliver finally gets to meet them, and despite Charlie being lowkey just a straight ass to him is undeterred. Especially catching the glimpse of their mess of an apartment inside. Its been months and they haven't even unpacked...

Randy is Oliver's boyfriend and local homeless man. Charlie warms up to him the fastest, relating to the nature of his situation. Though that certainly doesn't stop them from being an ass until then. He's incredibly accident prone, so spends a lot of time either at the hospital or in Oliver's apartment healing from injuries.

Eventually they all kinda end up as a pseudo-family, taking care of each other and looking out for one another. Oliver helps both Randy and Charlie find odd jobs around the town to get cash, and in return Charlie helps Oliver on his tinkering projects that he has going on.

And finally, for the last thing for pre-working at Freddy's, you have how they got the job. Well, before that they tried to get a college degree but... it didn't work out. Between barely being able to afford going atop barely passing grades (They never had an official schooling after all), they dropped out after two years. After that, they started to look for a more steady job, finding a poster advertising an open position at the local Freddy's. They know the rumors, they know what happened to John, but they also feel draw to Freddy's. To an extent, it's all they've ever know. So they go to apply, and get the job. As a janitor, nothing crazy.

Yay! Always happy to get an ask about one of my favorite characters in fiction :))))))))))

10. Best moment on screen (or in the book):

This is super hard, since he has SO many good moments!! I am going to keep this spoiler-free, since I'm not sure if you've read Dracula all the way through or not and I don't want to spoil anything (if you have read the book, I do talk about a few of my favorite moments with Jonathan that take place later in the book in this ask!).

I would have to say him attempting to save the child he hears the three sisters feeding on in Dracula’s room. I think it's truly a defining moment for him. We've just seen Jonathan (understandably) scream in fear for his life after seeing the three women again and only feeling safe in his room. He knows as long as he stays in there, he will remain safe. But as soon as he hears a child in danger, he's willing to risk facing those women again *and* Dracula to save a child he doesn't know and doesn't even know if he can save. I don't think he even considers any of that in the moment — he's just ready to do it. That's what makes him a hero in my eyes. Being willing to do what's right, no matter the cost. Of course, Dracula prevents him to do so by locking the door and...he cries. It's such a human moment from him and I appreciate that we get this moment of raw honesty. It's the first time we see him do so in his time at castle Dracula.

I think Shovel Day is very important too, don’t get me wrong. I just think that this moment is what truly defines him — in my eyes — as a hero and is his best moment on screen followed by him hitting Dracula with a shovel!

As for songs, I made two playlists about Jonathan Harker, one about his time trapped in the castle and one about his relationship with Mina (here's the post with the playlists included, for your reference!). I'll highlight one song from each that are my personal favorites.

Striking and ominous with an epic feel, Run Boy Run by Woodkid definitely embodies what we're all shouting to Jonathan while he's going to the castle. However, I can definitely picture this song taking place as he's climbing down the castle walls (lizard fashion, of course) and attempting to escape. I imagine the musical interludes are flashbacks during his time at the castle and the various horrors he experiences. What happens at the end with the hopeful swell of the song is up to you...

If Dracula was set in a modern time period, I could definitely see Jonathan serenading Mina with this song during karaoke night (bonus points if he can’t sing, but it’s the sweetest music to her, lol).

You, @shrinkthisviolet, @lady-of-the-spirit, @dream-beyond-the-fantasy and @daughter-of-melpomene have all helped throughout this year - most of you I only found out about through the OC Creator Bingo, which was a fabulous creation that not only connected me to other OC creators but gave me the confidence to create OC masterlists and to be more comfortable in talking about my OCs, to create moodboards and web weaves which really do work in helping the ideas flow, and I love seeing everyone's OCs and how much work goes into them, and it cheers me up whenever I'm tagged in an event or an OC post.

OC fics of others that helped make 2023 a little better

i still love you (i promise) by @shrinkthisviolet - broke my heart many times but there's many good moments too and the revelation is worth it.

Never Knew by InvisibleObserver13 - always love a good long-lost child fic, and this is such an interesting take on the trope and the kid OCs are all well written and the family tension is believable, even though I do hope it gets resolved

The Prayer by @arrthurpendragon - I'm a little behind on this but I've read the first seven chapters and I already love it and Nerissa and Merlin's dynamic (always love well-written siblings), and the tags are funny because we know what Nerissa and Arthur are going to become, so the slow burn is going to be good

Little Bit by sabershadowkat - a Buffyverse fic with an OC who is Angel's half-human daughter and one I recently rediscovered. I love the character of Kathleen so much and it remains one of my favourite stories in the fandom

OCs of others that made 2023 not so crummy

Morgan Wells (shrinkthisviolet) - a beautifully well-rounded young girl who deserves the absolute world (and whose not-father I am going to personally yeet into the sun).

Lucy Kenobi (shrinkthisviolet) - the Skywalker triplet who seamlessly fits into the Star Wars 'verse, and whose dynamics with Luke and Leia and Obi-Wan are always a compelling read, and I look forward to seeing her become a Jedi.

Molly Yates (dreambeyondthefantasy) - a great Whoniverse OC who fits in well with the Sarah Jane team, and I love reading about her and I'm definitely going to catch up on the fics soon.

Cheryl Johnston (daughter-of-melphomene) - the first and so far only Bill & Ted OC I've seen but I already love her so much, and I love finding out more about her when I send asks and I really look forward to seeing more of her in the future.

Ioana/Joan (lady-of-the-spirit) - I was delighted to find out I wasn't the only person with an Old Guard OC and I love this woman, though I desperately want to give her a hug because of her backstory, because of the fact that she met most of the Immortals after her first death and Booker at one point, so she doesn't dream about any of them and spends centuries thinking she's the only one. And that's just tragic.

Marianne (lady-of-the-spirit) - I've only read five chapters of the fic but I already love this mutant because of how protective she is of the younger cast and how unwilling she is to put up with Charles's bullshit. She's also a great mother and her son is amazing and I love him too.

Project some love into 2024 for another OC creator or fic

I love them all, of course, but I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of Molly Yates!! And Cheryl Johnston too - she's going to be a good fit in the Bill & Ted verse, I just know it!!

I haven't updated the story for a while but I'm really hoping to work on it in 2024 because I've have a really good story that I want to tell (and I'm very interested to see what other canon characters, OCs, and plot points will show up).

I've made so many this year, but I do love the Main OC and Side OC masterlists - I love updating them and they're a great way to keep track of things, though I also love the character introductions I've done even for OCs I've had for years. There's something nice about giving a small summary of the OC and their story.

Hey, i know you may be still working on the moth child headcanon and stuff, but

I wonder, how would her relatives react if they saw her being like a moth sometimes? Y'know, randomly getting attracted to shiny and lighty stuff, sometimes making silk out of her body to be able to make material to sometimes make some of her own crafts, or simply be just brushing her atennaes and be sure they aren't all messy.

Also, i kinda imagine tso lan's chil having four set of arms like him but it being in a diferent aspect, since the moth child could use her four arms at once, but despite not being much of a physical fighter, it doesn't mean she couldn't learn how to fight with four swords (which could give her more advantage at both defense and attack if she weren't physically weak)

Tho, maybe she having more of a close bond with xiao fung, since both would be pretty interested and curious about the human culture, but being for diferent reasons, while xiao fung would just be curious of how things changed at their absent, the moth child would be interested at the metallic shiny objects referred as eletronics, but also be pretty interested in the culture aswell, tho, probabbly creating a human disguise with magic to be able to sneak out and watch the festivals and sometimes join they without letting her father know..hm.. maybe that could cause her a more diferent view of the world and how the low class sometimes actually has it's dificult times..? Well, that could be quite a change for her mind-set.

(Also, take your time and take some breaks to not over-work yourself^^)

Hmmm, I feel like they wouldn't care that much if she had some moth mannerisms because they may all have some of their own, like Shendu may like sun bathing, Bai Tza might like to do dolphin jumps, and Tso Lan might like to take care of his face and hair. In addition to that last one, yeah, she would probably also like to clean her antenna like any other bug. Gotta keep up appearances and the pristine, clean, royal look that the "Superior"Demon Sorcerers have :V her Dad might find it a little strange to keep Shiny Things, but some of them could actually be useful, like crystals and how they refract light and stuff. I could see Tso Lan support scientific research from his daughter, like astronomy and magnetism.

It would make sense she has extra limbs as well, being a child of Tso Lan and being a moth. If she was a Physical Fighter, I bet she would use some light or long and thin weapons, like daggers, lances, fencing swords, or katanas, perhaps even double scythes if you want to get graceful and intimidating XD However, I see her more of a Magic User, so having more than two arms would be extremely useful, especially when yeeting those Gravity Spheres and Waves that Tso Lan can do, and even lift more than two things at once with gravity.

Yeah, I guess she could be interested in human tech, figuring out how it works and seeing how it could be improved for more demonic uses. I bet her style would be that stereotypical "The Future is Chrome" and and blue and such, like this:

The only problem is, she might get addicted to the Internet and venture into Places No Man, Demon, nor Immortal should delve into, and I ain't talking about the Dark Web, that wouldn't phase her. I'm talking about Rule 34 and PronHub. That would gross her the fuck out. ... But wait, she has some of those parts. What would happen if she... Anyway, yeah, Tso Lan would not want her on the Internet unless it's for Research Purposes. I guess she has to make the, "It's Anatomy and Physiology research, Dad. Gosh!"

There's also a chance she might be able to appreciate the Earth more and not be too keen on her Dad making it desolate and how it was before Life began. I mean, she'd still be on the "Humans should be enslaved" thing not only because that's how she was raised, but maybe also she would see how much shit they've done to the planet; how much of the natural beauty they've destroyed.

Oooooon the other end, though, she may also want to see the earth die and become the apocalypse that we all fear. Radiation everywhere, desolate wastelands, maelstroms out the wazoo both in the sky and oceans, weird new material and life being constructed due to intense conditions, etc. Like, I'm not sure if you're familiar with ARK: Survival Evolved, but in that game's Lore Humanity has corrupted the Earth and it lead to their downfall, but were adopted/rescued by these Higher Beings that keep them on these isolated and protected, floating structures above the Earth's atmosphere called ARKs. Eventually you get to one of the last Canon Lore Maps where you go back to Earth and stop that corruption so humanity can return, or something. Anyway, I bring that up because the two maps Aberration and Extinction make me think about what she may find interesting, which is the Fall of Humanity due to their hubris.

I would also like to add that she may be interested in any Space Horror films, like the Alien franchise, and in the settings and/or Lore of games like Fall Out, Tokyo Jungle, The Last of Us, Stray, Mirror's Edge, the Nier franchise, Disco Elysium, Rain World, and so on. Not sure if she'd be a Gamer Girl, but she definitely would like to do Research on these games. I feel like games that she would actually want to play are video games with Dying Worlds, where you feel like you're the only one left alive or there's some sense of lonesome dread always looming. Here are a couple long-ass vids by Video Carbon on YouTube that are literally called that:

Lastly, if you want to get REALLY dark, you could say she may want to see humanity succeed and thrive, just to cause something so horrible and unavoidable that they fall just out of the want of watching the aftermath, after their apocalypse. Heck, push things even further and say she's the one to make AM from "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream," XANA from "Code Lyoko," and The Fabrication Machine from "9."

On the Fates of the Half-Elven

So, there are various elf-human hybrids in the Legendarium: Dior, Eluréd, Elurín, Elwing, Eärendil, Elrond, Elros, Arwen, Elladan, Elrohir, and Elros's line. There is also, potentially, Galador and his line, the Princes of Dol Amroth. (For those who are wondering, Galador is supposedly the son of the elf Mithrellas and the Númenórean Imrazôr.)

Now, some of these part-elves were offered a Choice between being mortal and being immortal, but that Choice was specifically offered to a) Lúthien, for making Námo cry, and b) Elwing, Eärendil, and their sons Elrond and Elros, for the bringing-a-Silmaril-to-Valinor incident. This does not seem to be the general situation with other half-elves; presumably Dior, Eluréd, Elurín, and Galador were not offered this choice, especially since in both instances that the Choice was offered the Valar were directly involved. (But Arwen— I am going to get there, hang tight.)

Now, Lúthien chooses to be mortal, and marries Beren and has Dior. Similarly, Elros chooses to be mortal, and marries his unnamed wife and has four children. All of Elros's children and line are mortal—long lived, yes, but mortal; presumably, therefore, Lúthien's children and line should also be long-lived mortals. Dior dies, Eluréd and Elurín exit the narrative, and Elwing turns into a bird and flies away before this can be fully tested for them; however, Dior is ruling by the time he dies at 36, and Elwing is 35 when Sirion is attacked, by which point she's already married and has had children. This is a reasonable timeline for humans, but not so much for elves.

Now, this is not fully generalizable: Lúthien was an exception and chose mortality before having kids, as did Elros. Would an immortal elf have half-elven children who are mortal, or immortal? If Aegnor had a child with Andreth, who would it take after?

Eärendil is the same age as Elwing, and has children with her before sailing out to find Valinor, so presumably he is also aging at a human's pace, and we are not meant to read him as an elfling during all of this. Crucially, he is the son of Idril (did not make Námo cry) and Tuor (100% human), lending weight to the supposition that an elf/human pairing that does not involve anyone making Námo cry would result in (long lived) human children. (Additionally, if you believe that Galador is a half-elf, he and his line are also mortal.)

This also indicates that Elros and Elrond were human and aging at human paces when they were offered their Choices, somewhere between the ages of 13 (when the Host of Valinor lands in Beleriand) and 58 (when Morgoth gets yeeted into the Void) as it's not clear when exactly they made their Choices.

Now, what about a half-elf that chooses immortality before reproducing? Hi, Elrond. Elrond married Celebrían, an elf, and had three children. All of them are aging at elf-rates, indicating that they are elves, and we might expect that they, like Elros's line, don't get to Choose…except that Arwen does choose mortality. There's a few explanations possible, as this is the only such case known:

Elrond's children get to choose; presumably if one of them chose elf-hood and married an elf, their children would also get to choose. (As we've established, mortality is hereditary absent the Valar's interference.)

Elrond's children are elves who do not get to choose and Arwen is an exception for whatever reason. Loving/marrying a mortal does not seem to be sufficient (as Idril does not become mortal on marrying Tuor), but theoretically some other cause might be proposed.

Elrond's children are elves who do not get to choose and Arwen doesn't actually die in the traditional sense, and does not go Beyond like mortals do, but does something resembling death (less Lúthien and more Míriel) that is understood by Gondor to be her dying.

Oh, also Tolkien wrote at one point:

But that was in an earlier draft and may have been at least partially discarded, since Elrond's children aren't default-mortal despite having the blood of mortal Men.

oh damn oh jees I'm so normal sooo sooooo normal rn ahaha! emotionally, I'm feeling sorta ZGBZFDHZV HV ZDH DZVVZDS ZD ZZV LZV. like, it's trigun, I expected it to hit hard BUT I DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO HIT SO HARD spoilers for ep 10 under the cut as usual

tbh I'm mostly shaking about the next ep and impending season finale, but this one was still pretty brutal

firstly, the goofs. vash fucking SNEESING and getting ruthlessly bullied by wolfwood is pretty much in spirit of their relationship in 98' anime and I'd love to see more of it (pls I hope there'll be a season 2)

scar reveal! I was afraid they're gonna give him a glow up and yeah, some scars are barely visible, but the other ones look awful. so, everything I hoped for, good to see he's in pain /j. also nico tried so hard not to stare at shirtless vash... he's looking away respectfully

vash is such a wet cat pathetic paperbag of a guy... just let that guy take a shot, barely flinched, took the bullet 'cause he thinks he deserved it. didn't even think of attending the wound until wolfwood said so. and, mind you, vash doesn't have any superhuman abilities so that must've hurt like hell

nico's job is so funny because to keep vash safe he has to get into mega epic fights, but also remind that idiot to eat and take care of wounds. again, vashwood duo feels more like the original now, after the sandsteamer. I think nico actualy started caring about vash since he saved the orphanage, it's great to see him conflicted with his mission

also policemen from ep 1 and the guy who shot vash are like... second best side characters in stampede and this is not a compliment. the best ones are nomads who ate worms btw

oh meryl, she's gonna girlboss so hard now... woe to all the haters and naysayers, she's getting character development and faces the same conflict as vash and nico thus gaining more narrative significance!! don't get me wrong, manga and 98' anime meryl was a crucial character, but she's getting much more freedom in stampede to develop and get into action

the moment where she gets up during wolfwood voiceover is when we start to see the "iron lady" and I'm so here for it! now we just have to wait for her designated therapy dog girlfriend to appear and when I can be at peace

tbh I don't really care about roberto. no hate, just neutral, rip drunckle grumps

HE'S GONNA DO A LAST RUN ON THEM TO "FIX" VASH!! that was probably what elendira was refering to when she started crying

I am the normallest about this. these twins are such hyppocrites I wanna study and dissect them. knives doing the most cruel thing to his sisters so he can get rid of everything that makes vash human in hopes that if they were on the same footage they would finally stay together.......

and the words that he says to vash hurt so much more because it's true. he does love humans, but the main thing driving him is guilt. in stampede, more than ever, vash blames himself for pretty much all human suffering, because he helped the great fall happen. no wonder he's so depressed and not nearly as goofy! homeboy doesn't just protect the lives rem saved, his pacifistic quest is penance for all the people he (thinks he) killed

Ok so when I think of the megamind aesthetic, gonna be honest, the only one who can come close is Toshinori's villain outfit so expect this to get derailed...

1- on his home planet, Toshinori is considered weak and powerless, but Mirai, his family minion, can receive visions of the future and declares Toshinori will be very strong one day. Uh, and also that the planet is going to explode. His parents put Toshinori and Mirai on a lot escape pod and yeet him as the planet dies. On a neighboring planet, a shapeshifting baby, even younger than Toshinori, is also yeeted.

2- Toshinori grows up on earth around the dubious influence of Sorahiko (no hero system to conveniently align his morality to), Nana (has more convictions than Sorahiko but doesn't exactly prioritize legalities either), En (straight up thief), Giran (you know me), and while he always has the drive to help people- especially after learning that he can charge up power from the yellow sun in order to get up to three hours of strength in a boosted body- the first attempt at this goes... Badly. He helps save a family from a car wreck, but his inhuman eyes and smoking form scare them and he's attacked. But he tries again! And this time a young woman shows up dressed like a superhero in a comic, declares herself Lady Nagant, a natural born hero, and shapeshifts her arm into a gun. Toshinori quickly exits when he realizes he won't be able to talk her down, and on getting home, everyone decides if he's going to be treated like a villain and monster for trying to help people, might as well embrace that. Cue an absolute incredible villain costume

3- Mirai has a vision of a scientist working to help them engineer weapons to give them an edge against Nagant, so Toshinori and he go to Professor Shield. Mirai suggests kidnapping the man's daughter to hold as leverage, but Toshinori doesn't want to involve children and also is pretty sure that's a great way for David to put a bomb in anything he builds for Toshinori to hold closely. But turns out David doesn't need convincing! He's 100% on Toshinori's side, but the decide that to protect the Shields, they will all pretend that they are hostages. This means whenever Toshinori is arrested, Mirai grabs Melissa and leaves, and it's a fifty fifty chance if David follows because he can't lose her too, or if he's rescued for a few days before Toshinori escapes and collects him again. David is kept in increasingly secure bases each time in an attempt to stop this from happening but nothing ever works lol

4- the only person who suspects something else is going on with that professor is photographer and reporter Tokuda Taneo, but he's still chasing the story behind both villain and Nagant. Endeavor is the warden and he has a completely one sided rivalry with Toshinori, even attempting to get his kids in on it. Only Touya throws himself into this with enthusiasm, and Toshinori is kinda perturbed that Enji would use a child like that. This offends him, since Toshinori clearly doesn't have a problem using the Professor's child against him, so really Enji is worthy of it too. Toshinori decides to leave that bag of crazy alone and focus on escape plans.

5- so, Nagant landed in the home of a rich politician, but when she was young she was fully turned over to the government to make a superhero. She was happy for this at first, and gave herself bright purple hair (she was under orders to look human, but she pointed out that would be possible with hair dye, and it did make her look more like a comic book hero. She also made herself look older than the teenager she was at her debut). But eventually she got worse and worse orders, and kept being told to just kill Toshinori instead of taking him in, and the branch broke when they told her to kill the Shields as well, since the hostage thing was a farce. Nagant pointed out that even if David was a villian, Melissa was a kid who was a baby when this all started. Her handler doesn't care. The worst Toshinori's really done is waste taxpayer money on the prison continually being rebuilt. Her handler doesn't care. They want to finish up this All Smite job so Nagant can move on to more important cases. Nagant picks up that this is bad, but her only way out would be if she dies so....

A fake death it is! David is pretty sure he's used copper in other machines before but ok, whatever, they won! And Toshinori mostly leaves ruling to Mirai because he believes it's important for the city to have a hero and they accidentally gave another kid shape shifting abilities, but young Keigo wants to be a hero so badly and is picking it up too like a natural! And turns out Toshinori really likes mentoring... But then Keigo gets grabbed by the government too and leaves a note that he's running away with his mom for a better life, so Toshinori, alone, isn't having the best day when he runs into a boy even younger than Melissa who asks if he can be a hero without a power. Toshinori wonders why he never thought of that, and says he can.

Mirai does not approve of Toshinori wasting time training another new hero, this one without any powers- but when he has a vision of Keigo standing over Toshinori's body, bloody feather in hand, he gets even more desperate to convince him. When Toshinori refuses, Mirai leaves.

(in the other room, David frowns, and begins working on altering a hologram so it can fit around a person in disguise, making them look like Toshinori. He's learned over the years that Mirai's visions can't be prevented, but they sure as hell can be misinterpreted)

Oh yeah we yeeted the boi. 

I swear I had more than this written down somewhere but here’s the backstory I’ve got so far in regards to Izuku’s disappearance. Sorry this is a bit rough to read, it's the script format I use to make my comics. Under the cut vvv

Scene: Baby Katsuki and Izuku going on their merry way when they discover a deer carcass. They assume poachers killed it. Katsuki notices some disturbed leaves and something shiny underneath. He pokes it with his stick and sets off a trap.

IZU: “Kacchan we need to go tell your mom!” KAT: “Wait! If we set these off now then nothing else will get caught while we go back”

*Izu looks pensive* *Katsuki starts throwing sticks and poking piles of leaves to set off more traps. Izuku follows*

IZU: “This is dangerous Kacchan, for real dangerous.” KAT: “I know, but what kind of shitty forest guardians would we be if we just left these traps here like this?” IZU: “No! A shitty guardian is one who doesn't get help when they need it! We need to get your mom and the actual guards!” KAT: “Fine! You go get them! I'm staying right here taking care of the problem myself!” IZU: “Fine!”

*Izuku goes bounding into trees towards home* *Baku looks conflicted but turns with and sets off another trap*

KAT: “Whatever”

*Last panel black box with a SNAP!*

Small time skip.

*Katsuki arrives home and Izuku isn't back yet*

KAT: “Mom, have you seen Izu? He was supposed to come back first” MITSUKI: “No, I haven't seen him, did something happen?” KAT: “We got into a fight, but I was right!” MITSUKI: "Well regardless, you made him upset so go find him and apologize. He's probably off sulking because you were a butthead to him.” KAT: “But!” MITSUKI: “Katsuki. Go. Find. Him.”

*Montage of Baku looking through trees and bushes as it gets darker but he can't find Izu* *Going back to the village to discover Izuku still hasn't come back by himself yet* *Search parties organized but Izuku remains missing*

Bakugou ends up crying to his mom. How can he be a good guardian when he grows up if he couldn’t even take care of Izuku? This was all his fault and Izu had been right the whole time. Poor little Katsuki has to mature real fast and wholly believes that his actions caused Izuku's (presumed) death.

Turns out, Izuku's magic is the incredibly uncommon ability to shapeshift! He can swap between presenting as a human, a faun, a dae or a full deer. The first time it happened was directly after he left Katsuki to go get help. He accidentally got caught in one of the poacher’s traps and turned into a human out of fear. The humans naturally thought he was a lost child “how the heck did you lose your pants kiddo?” so they naturally took him back with them. He was stuck as a human for a few weeks until he figured out his switcharoo magic but by that point, he wasn't sure where he was or how to get home. A part of him also felt like he owed a debt to the humans who had been taking care of him. 

Years pass and shenanigans ensue, he's off on his own B Plot adventure. By the time Katsuki and Izuku cross paths again Izu has been living as a human 90% of the time. He’s gotten himself mixed up and blackmailed into working for some not so great people but it puts him in a perfect position to help Kat and Ei when they get captured by those very same people.

I don't see it taking Nedzu too long? Figuring out when Danny says he's "not from around here" and his powers DON'T react to any form of Quirk suppression, to put... less 2 and 2 together, and more *slaps down the advances calculations he casually did in his head* Checkmate Motherfuckers.

The problem becomes? There is an Interdimensional Hero... who SHOULD be still in Heroics TRAINING, but ISN'T because he apparently is the FIRST OF HEROICS KIND, not only stuck inside All Might's body. But ALSO? Actively poisoning an already medically fragile veteran and national treasure.

Oh, and if ANYONE gets their hands on this child?

................well, Nedzu has a long memory. He knows exactly what humanity would do. So too, does it appear, does this young man. "Ghosts" were not the only brilliant young soul, to have once been told they were "Non-sentient".

Nedzu, after all, can too this day, tell you his Subject number.

He will never forget it.

Which is why he is rolling up his bespoke sleeves and helping build this strange device. Trying desperately to not push. Because he knows he would not have appreciated the pressure. But... guide. Just asking simple questions, of course. Pondering little thoughts. To himself, of course.

Is it REALLY worth going BACK to such a place?

Why not liberate those you care for? Find someplace ELSE? If you intend to STAY, to FIGHT, why not look for help? Have you met his staff? Fine people. Heroes, you know. Professionally trained ADULTS.

And Danny? He may not be able to catch EVERYTHING this guy is pulling, but he can spot "Clockwork" vibes when he sees um. You're a meddler, aren't cha? Super smart. Fucked up backstory you don't want to share etc. Yeah, Danny sees you.

Doesn't mean your WRONG.

But he's NOT gonna stay. Would you? If you went for a walk and got yeeted into a different dimension, away from your school? Your responsibilities? Friends? Yeah. Didn't think so.

Nedzu wishes he didn't understand.

But he didn't run from his Fight either, now did he?

Yagi however? Is done with his crying and hugging session. His "The Youth Need Me" senses are tingling. There is... there is a Young Man(tm) in need of SUPPORT! A listening ear! Gasp! SCP Scenarios: SCP 1678 (Unlondon) x Reader (REQUESTED)

Ok, so I've done it!!! 😃

Before any of you say a thing, I know that there are 2 humanoid 1678s which are 1678-A (Bobbies/Policeman) and 1678-C (Wretch) and an avian type one (1678-B)

The one I'll be using is 1678-A (Policeman) because it takes too much time to write 3 versions of this SCP (But I might consider writing the other 2, but it's highly unlikely)

First Encounter

When you first met this humanoid, you were sent into SCP 1678 for some test

The police humanoid emitted a loud whistle as the speakers screamed ‘‘Police! Halt, criminal!’’

A couple of others who were with you attempted to shoot them with their guns but were quickly shown to be resistant

Luckily for them, they managed to plant some explosives which caused damage

The other 1678-As went in and attacked them which wasn't unusual because of their hostile nature

However, for you, one of them managed to capture you and ran

For some reason, it showed some interest towards you and warded off the other SCP 1678-As off from you

They seemed to understand that you were "marked" and left you alone

That particular 1678-A managed to get you out from harm and back to your foundation

The foundation staff did wonder what had happened and you told them everything with proof since you were wearing a bodycam

They've soon noticed that this particular policeman was softer towards you as you bandaged up its broken arm

Your feelings for him

After the incident, you were sent back down into 1678 for further research and you bumped back into the sane 1678-A

You only remembered that it was him because of its gesture and its unusual markings which distinguished him from the others

Somehow, you both were able to communicate with each other

The researchers realised that they seemed to understand human speech, mainly English, however, they seemed to understand other forms of European languages as well

Moreover, this particular Bobby also understood sign language and used it to his advantage to communicate with you, displaying some fondness for you

The researchers were reluctant to let you carry on with this test as they've noticed that you've reciprocated the same gesture

Let's just say that the researchers and the other Bobbies agreed to the fact that it was strange for you and that special policeman to be dating

His Confession

Over time, as you both became closer, he worked up the courage to sign to you that he cares a lot about you

And you've found that rather cute and returned the gesture

Which then made you both a rather unique type of couple

The other 1678-As were concerned and curious about this new relationship and so was the Foundation

The researchers had decided to borrow your newfound partner and took him to his new room (No, you've basically kidnapped him)

Needless to say, the other Bobbies were somewhat furious while others were glad that he's gone since he betrayed them for not killing you

Your new partner was somewhat homesick, so you've decided to paint some victorian style art for his cell

Date

From time to time, you both were shoved back into 1678 which just so happens to be the main place for you both to date

Some of his friends were relieved to see him and some would even offer you a hug

You obviously returned the gesture for being so flattering and because your man could finally get laid (NGL yall still be touch starved to the point you'd even date strange beings and objects)

Dates with this Bobby would be rather interesting

Like, he'd hold hands, but probably wouldn't start it during the beginning of the relationship because he's just shy (Just like everybody else here)

Since his face is all bandaged up, you wouldn't really be having many kisses

But he'll make it up with hugs instead

His fellow friends would probably enjoy bothering the both of you while you're there and would pull pranks on you both

If you both were in the foundation, you'd be chilling in his cell and talking bout your experiences in life (Not like you'd have much to say, get back to studying/work)

The researchers may poke fun of you both but would generally leave you both alone

When he gets jealous

Now, depending on who he's jealous of, he would react differently

If it was another fellow 1678-A, he would be slightly hostile and assert his dominance over the others

However, if it was a member of the foundation or anyone else that's not 1678-A for that matter, he'd be even more aggressive and would probably try and kill them

Unless you manage to stop him then it's fine

This Bobby would be slightly possessive because you're the only other person who genuinely cares about him other than his 1678 friends/family

If he sees you having a friendly chat with another person/SCP, he would wrap an arm around you just so the other person knows you're taken

I think over time he learns some boundaries so even if he is aggressive, he wouldn't just automatically send the dude you're with to hell

Unless that person is a crappy person then good for them

Yandere!1678-A

This yandere right here would literally kidnap you and take you back into 1678

He'd make sure that you would never find a way back into the foundation which does concern the researchers, so they send a group of D-classes and MTFs to find you

If he was feeling nice, he would let you wander around 1678 but he would most likely be next to or near you at all times

If he was having a bad day, he would tie you up in a random building and made sure that nobody can get in or out

Would most likely be even more hostile to everybody else around you

If you haven't behaved, he'd probs use something sharp to inflict pain on you

If you managed to behave, then he loosens the ropes around your arms, legs and neck

Probs would feed you tiny doses of 1678-D but only a bit because he's aware of how that affects the bodies of ordinary humans

Their younger sister

You and the other 1678-As would literally be families at this point or friends with the ones who are lurking away from the main area of 1678

And since you were rather new, you were treated as the younger one (That's also because you're the youngest one)

Would probably protect you from everything

You would be spoilt to death and wouldn't have to hurt a fly

One of the policemen would get you a 1678-B as your personal pet

And it's rather fond of you so it basically follows you around

Would most likely intimidate your dates if you have one

Even more so if they're a human/SCP from the Foundation

If it was another member of 1678 then they're more chill

However, if you were dating 1678-C, they'd be quite reluctant for you to be in a relationship with her but would let you anyways

When their kids say their name for the first time

Would 100% be crying internally and shocked

Like, it happened out of the blue since you both were just relaxing

Word would spread across the whole of 1678 because of this

And not because you both were a unique pairing in the first place

1678-A would try to teach your child some sign language in contrast to you who would teach them to communicate verbally

Most likely try and teach the kid to defend themselves and probably attack others

But you wouldn't let him because they were too young (Just like you lot!!! Shouldn't y'all be studying in primary or high/secondary schools?)

The other 1678s would literally yeet their way to meet the kid just so they can teach your child to say more words

And to swear of course

When his S/O is angry

Oh dear

If the foundation doesn't know any better, they'd just assume that all the Bobbies were the aggressive ones

And oh boy were they wrong

You were the one who needs a chill pill

Basically, some guy tried to hit on you and wouldn't stop

So you just casually gave him a taste in his own medicine

Which were a punch in the face and a kick in the nuts (Kids, don't do this to a guy unless he really deserves it)

He somehow got back up and carried on harassing you

Your man was just strolling around the park until he saw the commotion

He had to literally hold you back and made the guy run for his life

Which was a shocker since it's usually the other way around

And of course, everybody inside 1678 heard about the news and cheered on for you while others just ran since they didn't wanna have the first-hand experience with your anger issue

When someone tries to steal you away

Oh this man right here would gather all his police friends as well as the birds to hunt down whoever stole you away

He would be furious to the core and rightfully so

The foundation was informed of this and they didn't blame this SCP

And that's because the person who stole you was from the Chaos Insurgency

Both GOIs hated each other's guts so the foundation just kinda let 1678-A hunt down the guy

And he did along with the MTFs

But was met with you standing over the guy's dead body

Then everybody realised that your man taught you how to protect yourself

And you did it so perfectly that even 1678 was intimidated af

Nobody wanted to mess with you and your partner was relieved that he taught you self defence

When his pregnant!S/O gets hurt by accident

This particular 1678-A that just so happens to be your partner, is rather shy and introverted

Nad although he does his 'job' well, he would rather just stay away from any contact

Until he met you and you became pregnant

This 1678-A would be slightly more protective but would let you have some space

And because of this, you managed to give yourself a papercut

Which was met with a furious policeman

But was cooled down when you explained your injury to him

He was giving you a huge lecture about your safety and how not to get hurt because you're carrying his baby

Wouldn't leave you alone ever again

Even if that means he would have to sit by the corner at all times

Would send his mates to come over to check on you if he wasn't there

Meeting a dragon hybrid child fem!reader

Definitely would be curious about you since they mostly interact with Foundation staffs

Probably would try to attack you but instead got burnt

1678-A would definitely notice your strange appearance and that you cry lava

Would feel bad so he'd try and comfort you

This then leads to you both being rather attached to each other

This particular 1678-A would have to bribe the others to keep you

The foundation realising this would happen

Probably would let you stay there for research purposes

You are just laying on your bed, well sitting really, when he came in.

He had a fuck ton of balloons. And a large box.

Karl seemed like a child on christmas.

Placing the balloons down he handed you the surprisingly light box.

He was gently bouncing as he waited for you to open it.

It shocked you how it even fit in the box.

It was a huge frog bed.

You realized with a pillow you would be able to sleep in it perfectly.

Sadly you couldnt use it till those drains were out though.

He was right though that was definitely more comfortable then laying on a bed only.

He might of gotten jealous of the duck a few times. But he seemed to get over it when you went to hugging him instead. Sadly it wasnt that easy to but still none the less you gave him hugs too.

Give them to him. These are the only times you get cuddles. Other then that he is making food, getting you comfy, and fixing your pillows and shit like that.

He tried to explain it but the donations kept yelling at him.

So he ended stream and laid next to you and rat.

Eret, they were a whole 'nother story.

This fabulous being is like a maid service in one.

They have two outfits they wore when you were upset.

A maid outfit and a butler outfit.

You just got home, you were in pain, sitting up and swaddled in blankets and Goose was trying to smother you at this point.

Eret was streaming and you were sitting there in the background, blankets, pain, and goose exsiting.

You didnt know eret was talking about you because you were falling asleep. Eret nor you expected what their followers did.

Her door was bombarded with packages addressed to you. Decorated with words about getting well soon, that they were proud of you, even some saying you were their rolemodle.

Eret decided to have a stream of you opening them.

Let's just say alot of them were food, candies, even foreign food and drinks. Someone made you a homemade blanket in the trans colors.

Best part about that blanket, it was heated.

You were using it immediately as you were freezing.

Eret just chuckled and rubbed your shoulder as you opened them.

Needless to say they are proud of you, happy that you were one huge step closer to who you were.

You'll be bedridden until she thinks you're okay.

If she deems you as not fit for doing something she's on it. Drop you glasses for reading/drawing/writing/typing. You bet your ass as soon as she heard that clack and you groan she's picked it up and it's on your lap.

Also makes sure you're good with streaming.

If you say your good with it that day it's a calm stream. There is no lore happening when you're healing everyone was fine with that due to the fact that niki would have to sit out and the lore was with her as well so that couldn't happen.

Will came to visit...

Saw you, took pity, and now you're stuck with two people showering you in affection and comfort.

You saw Wilbur as a brother. And wilbur saw you as his younger brother. So he literally felt the pain when he saw you wince.

Niki thought it was cute and comforted both of you.

Anyways she saw something before your surgery and decided that you needed it.

It would make you feel better.

It made you laugh.

You regretted laughing but loved the hoodie.

It fit so well and it was beautiful, you also were thinking about buying it one day because you could.

With great pleasure! So, I am not sure how exactly much you know about Silmarillion and related stuff, so i will try to be non-specific in this post and then expand on exact things later, if you would like it!

In any case, be welcome under the cut for more deets and a short bio! Short disclaimer, is that it is a very heavily AU outlook on Middle-Earth that is set in the Crys Semi-Original Daydreaming Universe.

Also a tag for @lukans to learn about my first Cringe Child.

So, Measse... Is not a Tolkien character of the same name, to clear up this possible confusion, but she does adopts to fill in for this lady, kind of and takes up the name as a sort of job designation. And because every second person was mixing up her actual human name.

Art is an oldie, but a goodie.

So, in the simplest and shortest possible way Measse is a questionably lucky human, who, by jumping through a series of hoops ascends to be a quasi-deity in an attempt to save her family from an upcoming catastrophe. Also hoops were on fire.

Going into more details: not-yet-Measse was having a very normal day with her friends on a roughly modern Earth.

Following a series of odd accidents they find themselves in a different slice of reality, specifically on the shore of Aman, land of gods (well, not really gods, but like, close enough) in Middle-Earth.

Whoops.

This obviously causes a fair share of confusion from all parties involved. But in the end they are offered lodging and wait for a good moment for locals to yeet them back where they came.

Because locals have the literal End Days to be dealing with, which is not something that happens every other Thursday.

In the end, she is a given an offer. That, as mentioned, involved jumping through far more hoops that anyone would deem reasonable, but not-yet-Measse was a woman of focus, commitment and sheer fucking will (c). She shrugged and accepted to do or die trying.

During their stay in Aman not-yet-Measse and her friends find out that there is a catastrophe that would happen in their world, on Earth and have different reactions to it.

Not-yet-Measse decided to go to the local gods, Valar, and see what it would take for them to take her family to Aman to be forever immortal and happy.

This is objectively such a wild request from a person who ended up in your backyard after accidentally sneaking in after one of your colleagues went to grab a beer, yes.

The gist of an offer was to, pretty much, make it her permanent job to help fix all the stuff that got wrong with Middle-Earth because OG Dark Lord - Melkor (he is also the guy who went to grab the beer from a few paragraphs above) had a temper tantrum and decided to be evil.

Basically, Middle-Earth is going to be reborn alongside the End Days, but someone still needs to clean the stuff up and Valar could have used a hand with both this and keeping Melkor in check.

You may be wondering, how it would be expected from a human whose only distinctive features are having the resting bitch face of the century and loving her family very much.

Well, of course by getting essentially cursed, but as a sole positive thing about it being able to (maybe) utilize a fraction of the power Melkor got in the divine lottery.

List of possible and expected side-effects? Enormous. Includes transforming into eldritch horrors, losing yourself and becoming a mindless puppet, delusions, etc.

And so while her friends were having a relaxing beach filler arc, more or less, not-yet-Measse was trying to discreetly from them figure out how this whole thing works and having her "objective: survive" filler arc, because Melkor was very genuinely trying to off her.

Why would he need a leech sapping on his power AND being there to kick his butt later, after all?

Her main hobby, outside of her "job" is to take care of dragons, obviously. Who doesn't like dragons, after all. Also being a doting older sister for Lily, a second child in the family.

The end result is that not-yet-Measse survives for long enough to get comfortable in utilizing these loaned powers and is reborn into a quasi-deity in a bath of very actual fire.

She takes the name Measse as the world falls apart in the End Days and following it's rebirth is reunited with her family and goes on to have her new life.

a longass time ago I said Jonathan had more scenes than Mike and Joyce combined and I Was Not Lying....but I'll put most of my yelling under the read more. anyway here's when Jonathan first meets the babs vs where they are after the plot is over (5 years later)

Will saying "he will judge you" means "he's gonna decide if you're allowed to physically handle everyone else because I am not small and can't tell if you'll be Annoying to them (handling them too gently/roughly/shakily/etc)." this is the feral clone that likes to be thrown around like a fucking frisbee and dangled upside down, so Jonathan couldn't possibly hurt him on accident

Mike doesn't fully "pass" later and is mostly allowed to handle the clones that like moving slow and steady (mainly the watchful (second) clone) or if a clone just wants to be in a really high place. but they are still babs and usually full of energy and too fucking impatient for the careful speed at which Mike would move them place to place

the one hanging out in Jonathan's t-shirt hammock is the sixth clone, very tiny clone, likes to be carried around and sleep in warm places because the lab was Not That :) the other two are the feral (first) clone and verbally savage (third) clone. clone 3 asks Jonathan on multiple occasions why he doesn't have human friends and has "so much time" to play with them (for a significant number of months, any time spent with Jonathan is "a lot" compared to the abrupt stop of all human interaction after the lab escape)

#1 Warrior: feral as fuck, absolutely ready to FITE at any given moment, does not let a lack of legs stop him from trying to hunt on land

#2: Watchful: mostly keeping track of the smols but also tries to look over the Tol, maybe got a little separation anxiety

#3 Wordsmith: likes to craft stories as much as honest insults, will spit out obvious Facts without hesitation...also he's farsighted as fuck

Jonathan is the first human Will "confronts" after the escape. he was 100% prepared to threaten the first person he encountered to try to get back home but then Jonathan is like ??? are you okay, get inside, are you in trouble, do you need help, where d— and Will doesn't get the chance to do much that night. just waits for Jonathan to fall asleep (he's not asleep) and yeets himself out a window to Contemplate. and the only evidence he was there at all is a discarded blanket, an empty glass with traces of salt, and the fact that Jonathan's closet is now missing the clothes he explicitly remembers offering to the christmas eve cryptid

(Jonathan did attempt to offer normal help at first like Benny thought to call child services for El but Will made it Quite clear that he didn't want more people involved. no fucking thank.)

over the next few visits, they gradually communicate and Jonathan understands that Will wants to go "home" (Brenner specifically didn't teach Will any words relative to California so it takes. a lot of trial and error to get his destination across), and Will also understands that it's a lot further than he thought and it'll take time/resources/"money"/research to get there (also "I like barely got my license I can't just drive out there, are you sure you don't want someone e—" "no.")

(Will told himself that it didn't matter what human helped him, that he just needed to find one and stick to them until he got where he wanted to go, that all the humans here were exchangeable like lab workers changing shifts....but Byers Bonding Power is no fucking joke and Will is not immune)

at the beginning, there were often several days/weeks between Will's ventures onto land. but, once he begins understanding the concept of human money, Will decides that finding/earning money is the one thing he can do to speed up the travel plans (since he can't learn to read maps and drive faster than he could collect money for Jonathan to do it for him..hypothetically). having a definable goal gives Will more motivation to force himself to interact with more people, so by the time Mike is properly "introduced", most of Will's human communication skills have been fairly developed (besides learning directly from Jonathan, mimicking tv people and sporadically interacting with Joyce/other Hawkins citizens helps him learn more words/tones/social scripts/dynamics/etc. for instance bringing fish to Benny on Friday mornings, or helping at the library for reading practice as he finds more limitations.)

while Will started socializing for the gas money and shit, he ends up getting more comfortable in Hawkins and occasionally using that money for trinkets and snacks and shit for the clones, or to repay Jonathan/Joyce over the months/years. and gradually, he stops being so concerned about returning because this is the only place the clones have known after the lab, they have a little home here and one of the clones can't live out in the ocean anyway, so no matter where they go, they'll have to stay near land if they want to stay together (and they do, even after they've passed the age a normal mer would've gone off on their own. because they're not normal mers, they're clones, and they're a part of each other in ways they aren't even aware of yet)

anyway things really get started when Jonathan takes some pictures of scenery and shit and accidentally gets cryptid Will in a shot of the lake. but seeing that photo makes Will decide to stop fucking around and determine just how trustworthy Jonathan is. (up until now, Will wasn't really sure how he was gonna get Jonathan to take everyone home without finding out what they were. but like. this took care of that issue.) this is the first and last time Will seriously "threatens" Jonathan because he gets.....Intense about exposing himself and/or the babs.

Will would seem kinda "undersized" for a "human" his age but is much stronger than he looks because he spends most of his time either swimming or training to be better coordinated on land, no rest. Will reacts negatively to the potentially dangerous photo and Jonathan reacts negatively to the familiar bodily threat (shoved against a wall like Lonnie did in s1) but they're both fine once Jonathan gets Clone Approved™

for Will, showing his Official Final Trust is basically when he allows himself to be in the water with a human around. even despite his quick acceptance of Jonathan's presence around the babs, he stays on land for quite a few weeks so if anything were to "happen" Jonathan couldn't run away while Will had a tail. he repeats the same process with Mike later, but this time he lets himself have a tail if Jonathan is around as a safety net (because like. lbr Mike could absolutely not outrun a hostile Jonathan. not that that ever becomes necessary) he also stays on land any time a bab wants to explore/play on land, which is why Will was just sitting around when wary Will brought Mike to him

I have already typed so much but there is still so much more but let me at least give some interactions Jonathan has with the different clones

it's important that everyone knows that Jonathan taught the feral Will to headbang to his weird human music, just this tiny pancake going apeshit while Jonathan does a sorta bopping hand motion next to him

all the clones like being high up (because underwater they're swimming way above the floor) but watchful Will and tiny wandering Will like it the most. wandering Will swaps between Jonathan/Mike/Joyce equally (tho spends the most time with big Will underwater at the start), but watchful Will absolutely abandoned Jonathan once tree Mike entered the picture. rip dude

I mentioned wordsmith Will roasting Jonathan earlier, but they're usually chill. they and wary Will spend most of their time together on land, with Jonathan reading out loud or helping wary Will do it (because wordsmith is too small to even turn pages....and also pretends to have no interest in learning to read because he hasn't realized that he's blind as fuck)

it takes Jonathan a hot second to adjust to wiggly Will's energy output but he Can keep up for a respectable amount of time. and when the bab eventually passes the fuck out, Jonathan carries him in a shirt pocket until he revives and is ready to nyoom again (or hands him over to big Will to be cradled and pet like a tired kitten😌)

bonus note: while the babs were basically raised bilingual, which is then kept in practice by Jonathan entering their lives relatively "soon" after leaving the lab, big Will was not and has more difficulty retaining new sounds/words and is hella more likely to let out some faint inhuman noise in place of something he can't say. Jonathan felt a little Cursed at first but gets used to it fairly quickly, and Will does it less and less as time goes on

on rare occasion Will makes a horrific sorta grinding scuttling sound and Jonathan just has to accept that that's a sign of happiness and not a threat to his life. the babs have made that sound before too but it's not as loud or deep and feels more like being threatened by a sick puppy than a sci-fi horror beast

the first time Mike hears that sound is life threatening. he is like legit near tears because Will was right next to him (he was fucking straddling Will's legs and hugging him so close) he got full blast of that shit like he could feel that sound in his Chest and he wanted to Die.

these throat teeth are kinda like. if a moray eel's second jaw was structured like a demomonster head. terrible flesh flower blooming from the back of Will's throat, able to reach forward into his mouth to grab food and drag it back for digestion. and Mike just realized he regularly puts his own face within biting range. not that he's afraid that Will is going to intentionally eat his face. but like. it's the Possibility.

there are a lot of things that Will regularly pretends to be human about now (like having to chew food) unlike the babs that still do what they want whenever they want, so Mike hasn't really had to picture a lot of their casual actions being done by a much larger body. he's gonna start tho. he's gonna Start.

Headcanons, headcanons, oh boy!

First, for other characters:

Shark's main response to anything is 'Your mom'. God knows why. It got to a point where every answer was 'Your mom'. Example:

Yuma: Can we duel??

Shark: Your mom.

Teacher: Did you do your homework?

Shark: Your mom.

Whenever anyone of h̶i̶s̶ the kids start a fight with the other, or just misbehave in general, Chris just picks em up, and holds them at arms length like cats, and takes them away. Unless it's Girag. For obvious reasons.

Don Thousand's favourite hobby is randomly yeeting any one of the three kids across any room. However, he always makes sure to never yeet Astral too far or too hard, that child gets hurt so easy. He'll give Yuma reasonable yeets. But Mist? God knows how he'd alive

For all his faults, Eliphas's greatest redeeming quality is his generosity. Is he very strict about what Astral buys? Yes. But will he give huge amounts of money without blinking an eye? Also yes.

Don's the opposite. He doesn't care what the kids buy, so long it's not his money being spent.

Dumon's Irish. I don't care what you say, he's Irish.

Trey will give anyone kisses as long as 1) they're comfortable with it and 2) they aren't Quattro, Vector, and Mizar (he doesn't like Vector because of Yuma and Astral, and he doesn't like Mizar because of their duel...and Mizar winds him up)

Back to Eliphas, he is actually pretty aware of what he's done to everyone, especially to Astral. The guilt kills him. This is probably why he refuses to outwardly accept any blame for his actions: he's instinctively trying to hide what he's really feeling because he's just really bad at showing them.

He also does genuinely love Astral, but again, he just can't make himself show it. He'll say sweet things to Astral when the boy's deep in sleep, and will even kiss his forehead, but can never do it when Astral's awake, and he hates himself for it. It would help fix so many of Astral's problems, but not only is he unable to do it, he doesn't realise how deep Astral's trauma is.

As for Astral (you KNOW I am a freaking headcanon FOUNTAIN when it comes to the glowy)

His favourite colour is yellow, because it reminds him of Utopia/Hope, and honey (Beestral exists)

He also likes honeybees, although large bumblebees kinda freak him out

(This one's angsty) When he eventually moved full time to Earth into a flat shared with Kite, Shark, and Yuma, he wanted to cut his hair short, because Yuma did. He thought it would look nice, but anytime he thought of doing it, or anything to develop any sort of style of his own, he'd remember Eliphas's words from his childhood, how Eliphas criticised his appearance, his scarred eye in particular, "look how you shamed your eye, do you want to shame the rest of you?" and he just couldn't do it. Eventually the others noticed, and Rio took him to get his hair cut, and new clothes he really wanted to wear.

Speaking of, the silver eye becomes a white scar across his entire eye in human form.

It's not noticeable in the winter, because he becomes very pale in the winter, but in the summer he tans heavily, and the scar stands out.

Also said scar sometimes aches. He used to just ignore it, but now Yuma refuses to let him suffer through it, and will give him both medicine and kisses (PLATONIC KISSES)

He knows how to use a gun. And is badass with one.

He also has a strange habit of taking little daggers with him with him wherever he goes. God knows why. Even Eliphas has no idea what caused this habit.

Because loud noises can remind him of the explosions in Astral World, Mirai bought Astral headphones, which he keeps with him all the time, not just because he needs them, but because it was a gift.

Astral gets so so so awkward whenever someone uses a pet name for him or give him a gift, he almost looks uncomfortable, but really he's just trying not to cry because 'oh my gosh they actually love me?!'

When he and Yuma fight, Yuma is very very careful about how hard he actually pushes him; he doesn't wanna hurt him, and Astral, despite the fact he's got a mean slap, is just soft with him in general. Their fights are usually just them squeezing the other's cheeks, ruffling the other's hair, or soft wrestling.

Now, Astral's first holiday:

Honestly, I don't think it matters which holiday is his first, I think the reaction would be the same for pretty much all. Basically, Yuma would have broken down all the holiday traditions to him, and Astral would have understood that holidays are times for family togetherness.

When holiday time comes around, Astral notices the atmosphere, and he and Yuma chat a bit about it, and how Yuma can't wait to do all the fun things he does with his family. And Astral being Astral automatically assumes that Yuma means the others.

Then the holiday comes along.

And Yuma asks Astral to join them for dinner, or a tradition, and Astral is utterly confused for several minutes. Then he finally gets it.

Yuma sees him as part of the family.

They all see him as part of the family.

He cries for a while. He has never felt this before, and he can't believe this is for real. But it is.

He has a family now, and he's happy.
