Let’s finish converting our Super Move camera to C++!

So, I recently came into possession of a new (to me) camera, a Pentax Auto 110

Now that's a good picture of it, but it might not give you an idea of what makes this particular camera so special.

So let's zoom out a bit.

Behold! The world's smallest interchangable-lens film SLR!

"Oh, but it's clearly a toy" you say. "Surely the pictures it takes aren't that great."

Well, why don't you see for yourself?

This thing takes 110 film, which produces negatives about 13x17mm

someday i'll take pictures with the box camera that aren't using weird or expired film stock. But that day isn't today.

I keep mentioning the "Spock watches the Kirk vs the Gorn livestream and narrates it to the rest of the bridge while talking like, uh..." scene in "Arena" (an episode I do genuinely love for other reasons) and—I mean, sharing is caring, so the greatest hits reel:

SPOCK: Notice the substance encrusting that rock. Yes. Unless I'm mistaken, it's potassium nitrate. MCCOY: So? SPOCK: Perhaps nothing, doctor. [Kirk, clearly suspecting the same thing as Spock that no one else has realized, tastes the substance from the rock that's now on his hand] SPOCK: Perhaps everything.

[cutting the Gorn colonialism reveal for space, but this turns into Kirk hurriedly picking through bamboo stems for an as-yet unknown reason] SPOCK: Fascinating... SPOCK [clearly putting something important together that nobody else is getting as Kirk cuts vines against a rock]: Good. SPOCK: Good. SPOCK [to a baffled McCoy]: He knows, doctor. He has reasoned it out. MCCOY [along with everyone else on the bridge]: ????????? [Kirk starts shoving the potassium nitrate into the bamboo] SPOCK: Yes. SPOCK [going from standing to sitting in Kirk's chair]: Yes. MCCOY: What is it, Spock? SPOCK: An invention, doctor. First potassium nitrate, and now if he can find some sulfur and a charcoal deposit or ordinary coal... [McCoy and the non-Spock bridge crew watch as Kirk returns to a gemstone deposit that baffled him earlier and starts shoving diamonds into the bamboo stem] MCCOY [still baffled, clearly not on the nerd4nerd radio wavelength here]: What's he doing? SPOCK: Diamonds. The hardest known substance. Impelled by sufficient force, they would make formidable projectiles. MCCOY: What force? SPOCK: Recall your basic chemistry, doctor. Gunpowder. [Kirk wanders around while the Gorn speaks to him, his supposedly monstrous growls translated into calmly urging him to be reasonable and accept the offer of a quick and merciful death; Kirk ignores him, clearly looking for something specific, and staggers over to another deposit] SPOCK [almost smug]: Coal. [Kirk starts crushing the coal and mixing his ingredients] MCCOY: Can he do it? SPOCK [concerned but with perfect assurance]: If he has the time, doctor. If he has the time.
