Barnabas does actually use some terms of endearment. They are rare and obviously only reserved for very important people. Good luck ever hearing them.

"Dear/my dear" is his most commonly used.

He also uses "elskling" which is a "dear/sweetheart/darling" sort of endearment in Norwegian. Since we can assume Waloed is meant to be Nordic, and most people say even more specifically either the equivalent of Norway or Iceland, I use Norwegian as the native language for Barnabas. I'm not sure what they would call it in-game. Waloeder?

This would also apply to Sleipnir - his native tongue being Norwegian/Waloeder.

Agreeing with Barnabas is second nature - mostly because it keeps his King happy, but also because his opinion on any of these concerns matters little. Nonetheless, he can offer a response that he hopes can ease Barnabas' frustrations.

"They are filth, my king. As such, they will be punished by the very same God they reject. The sins of humans shall not be overlooked."

Sleipnirs lips curled upwards slowly, playing with the lapel of his jacket, pressing it into his lips to hide his ever growing grin, fidgeting on the spot. It wouldn't take a genius to realise he was very much infatuated with the other.

 "Cool - cool -" He cleared his throat, trying to regain some level of composure. "Well um. I thought we could walk through the park...if you want. There's a - new milkshake place if you wanna get something as well." He cleared his throat.

Bri got up from her desk, and moved to properly greet him with a kiss on the cheek; which she had to place a hand on his shoulder and lean up on her toes to accomplish. “Both sound great! Just give me a moment to grab my things and we can go.” 

She walked over to the little closet are in the office to grab her sweater and keys, then paused and looked back at him. “Is it still chilly out? I haven’t been outside since this morning.”

Hel was the third child of Loki and the giantess Angrboða and the sister of Fenrir, Jörmungandr, and Sleipnir. It most versions, her looks are the emphasis - half of her skin appeared to be pink and plump like a newborn's, while the other half looked decayed and sickly - nearly green or blackish in appearance. Her face was said to have been in a constant state of gloom. When the other gods heard of her and her siblings' existence, they were alarmed due to the parentage - two troubling/"evil" beings had come together to produce three monstrous children... The gods decided to kidnap the children to better assess them in Asgard. Odin was just as sure as he was about the serpent, Jörmungandr, that Hel had to elsewhere. He hurled her into Niflheim - the world beneath the worlds, where the shadows and mist would become her only true companions. As so she made her hall, Eljudnir, which would become the home of the dead when Odin would task her with looking after them, the dead of all the nine worlds who had died of illness or old age, and cursed her to always have to share her food with whoever came her way. Bitterly, her plate was named Hunger, her knife was Famine, her bed was Sick-Bed, and its hangings Glimmering Misfortune. Only when Ragnarok occurred, did Hel see the light of day again. IN MY OPINION Hel/Hela in your chart can represent a) where a part of you decays, b) where your looks make you seem unapproachable/threatening, c) where/how your parents reputation effects how you get treated by others, d) where you are surrounded by darkness, e) what you have to share but lack yourself, and/or f) where you seek opportunities to get even with those who have done you wrong.

i encourage you to look into the aspects of hel/hela along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of hel/hela AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede hel/hela!

Gulltoppr, the steed of Heimdall [Nordic mythology]!

In Nordic mythology, the Æsir owned 10 legendary horses, which they rode every day on their journey across the Bifrost to their court under the third root of the great ash tree Yggdrasill. Of these horses, the eight-legged Sleipnir is the most famous one. He is owned by Odin.

Heimdall, the White God and gatekeeper of the Æsir, owned the 10th of these horses: Gulltoppr, a magnificent steed with golden manes. As the 10th fastest of the godly horses, only the other 9 were faster than him, and no mortal horse could outrun him.

Also called Gulltopp or Gullfaxi, the name of this creature translated to ‘golden manes’ or ‘golden forelocks’.

As the great gatekeeper, Heimdall needed less sleep than a bird and could see better than any bird of prey. Even at night, he could see for hundreds of leagues. And so powerful was his hearing that he could hear the grass growing. He was also the owner of the Gjallarhorn, a magical horn whose sound could be heard throughout all worlds. Somehow, Heimdall was birthed by 9 different mothers (though in one interpretation this might actually denote 9 waves of the ocean, and that Heimdall supposedly arose from the primordial seas). He also has golden teeth and is the wielder of the sword Höfuð.

Thor, however, did not ride along with the other gods, instead he walked to the court every day.

"Oh... Is that what this is? Anger?" Sleipnir's eyes narrowed, sharply, just the same as Clive's had, but his expression was filled more with curiosity than anything. Of course this had been a confrontation in the making, but now he was thinking of other ideas. This was, after all, his Master's new 'favorite toy', as the other put it so. He would not have it too spoiled.

"How grand this is, Mythos... You know your place, already?" Punctuating every part of that 'name' of his that he could with almost a loud purr, and already he felt quite at peace with this idea circulating through his thoughts. "I wonder how you have been enjoying your time here? Has the bedding been comfortable? The company? My Lord has gone through so much effort to see you are well-cared for." He took a few steps forward, watching the other move back with a certain kind of delight shining in his bright blue eyes. "So, what seem to be the problem? Do I anger you that much, Clive Rosfield?"

Blue eyes narrow at the other. Is he shaking? He hadn't noticed. He doesn't know if it's from fear considering how injured he already is or anger. He refuses to believe he is scared of this asshole.

It's no surprise he'd want to torture him, though, considering how much attention Barnabas has been giving him lately.

"The only one pathetic here is you. I'm not the one that can't stand his Master having a new favorite toy." Clive growls at him as he takes one step back and inhales a deep breath, trying to calm his shaking form. "I'm shaking in anger, you bastard. Not fear."

The attention of his Lord was always wanted, and he would go to any lengths to have it. So, of course it was a bit of a little lie when he stated that he could not find his own pulse, if only to see if the other would come his way. The excitement was almost unbearable, but he fought all urges to let any of it be known.

There was only the slightest thrum of his heartbeat, as his head was tilted in such a way so gently, and only that the other would notice. Only him, forever more. As none other would be able to detect it, unless they were as close as he was now. Those lips on his pale neck, and the way those words ghosts over his flesh, had his legs now struggle to stand still. He was at the other's mercy, and was basking in this feeling.

"Yes, My Liege... How silly of me to forget that you would know exactly where to look. The neck. A fine placement for a pulse..."
