very excited to see Jean and his son Jab in the third book.

Jean acts like he hates him but they’re probably gonna cuddling whenever Jeans home.

it’s like when your dad says he doesn’t want a dog but he’s the one that likes the dog the most.

i feel like Jeans gonna be blaming everything that goes wrong on the dog tho, or he’ll be arguing with Jab and he’ll just be there staring with puppy eyes

Here’s another reason why I feel super hardcore evsam right now:

Sam is such a wonderful balancing factor for Evan. Evan hasn’t experienced comfort and belonging like this ever before Sam. She checks in on him, they have stayed in touch, they are so close that she becomes concerned when he feels he can’t share something with her. They missed each other.

Sam was one of the first ones to openly say that they were all best friends after Evan got put on the spot about having friends.

Evan’s life has been hard. Of the four of them, he’s lived through poverty, abuse, neglect, constant fear, and he never belonged somewhere. He’s been all alone.

But since meeting Sam, he hasn’t been alone. Not truly.

anyways in some human aus (because they wouldnt be turtles here i feel, although it would be very interesting if hamato ninpo still existed? in the pjo universe every pantheon is real, so they could still have roots in japanese mythos) i like making them biological fraternal twins but i can just see them being twins by choice here (or not at all! i might leave it ambiguous). honestly i was jokingly implying that splinter got those male gods PREGNANT and looking at mythos that can mean them popping out like immediately. athena in the pjo universe is ace so she does just kind of think of them and Pop. so. there's probably a story there

also you know what would be funny? if draxum was hades. "creating the perfect weapons" could be related to the hamato ninpo thing and maybe it was the idea of making the perfect child to handle a world-ending prophecy (and hades in pjo canon did kind of try to do that with nico in TLO so it works)

I LOVE me some 'oboro adopts/takes care of tenko' fluff but in light of that "characters in their late 20 getting misinterpreted as parental figures to teens when they're something else" post (and Oboro is in his early 30s and Tomura in his very early 20s but the point stands!!) I've been thinking and. their dynamic isn't really parent-child but it also isn't "older cousin or step-sibling" like that post was talking about it's like... closer to a butler/nanny but also very much a secret more fucked up third thing.

Person who was literally created and desiged to take care of you, but done so by a person who intended to harm you, and therefore fundamentally restricted in their ability to take care of and protect you but nonetheless solely devoted to that goal.

Combine that with Shirakumo Oboro's themes of being someone who takes care of those who others would walk past, even other heroes. With kid Tenko being literally a lost child no one bothered to help. It's like even before he's Kurogiri, Oboro was crafted to be the kind of person Tomura needed to take care of him.

And it's in a weird inverse of a usual parent-child dynamic. Because, generally, kids are created by their parents. Like, physically, and structured as people by how they're raised. But Kurogiri was literally created for Tomura. In-universe and from a thematic standpoint, he's made to be his caretaker. They've got this weird fucked up fate-like thing going on and Kurogiri affirms it time and time again. "I am the one who takes care of Shigaraki Tomura." Person who had no choice in taking care of you but when given that choice would make it. It's both dystopian and heartwarming. Both a sign of the utter lack of control both of these characters are given in the story and a complete dedication to a purpose in spite of a controlling force. And I'm not normal about it.

this scene hurt my feelings. and it is terrible that one of the first things portia said was "what have you done?" cause I know she can see that penelope is upset. she's very clouded at times and I hope that we get to see her think before she speaks more even if it takes her a moment (kind of like she did in penelope's room in episode 2).

however, I think if prudence hadn't popped up after pen called her out on it, she would've inquired about how she was and what happened in full. but we all know, prudence is so used to having her mother's attention and penelope isn't.

I love lady featherington down so I hope the second half of the season rings true to polly saying that she [portia] apologises to penelope.

I'm making it canon that since Cesar and I are long distance at the moment that he asked me what scents do I usually wear and when I told him he went out and got the two bottles of perfume I use a lot.

I had no idea that he bought it either.

It wasn't until he FaceTimed me (as we usually do before bed, yes we even fall asleep with it on)

anyways, he told me he sprayed a little of it on an extra pillow (the one he was currently snuggling in his arms) he ends up saying how nice I smell and that he can't wait to actually hold me in his arms, to be able to feel my skin against his own and the warmth I could give him and how at peace he'd finally feel knowing that I was safe in his arms.

Queue me with my face in my own pillow, all flustered and now longing even harder to be with him >///<
