Ep 3 Tim died first before the wildcard and lost FOUR LIVES, while Scar couldn’t STOP dying and is on RED and also lost four lives.

First session rundown

We started on a train. We all got put in the same car together and ended up learning we're all in pretty similar circumstances. We were all pretty low on money and unable to afford to get to our main destination, Gem City. Instead we are all let off on a little town called Noss Cabiek and decide to band together to try and get the funds necessary to continue. We find a flyer posted by the sheriff asking for help dealing with a pest problem. Job sounded easy enough so we decided to check into it for some easy money.

First thing we did when we arrived was go to the saloon. There we met the bartender who told us the sheriff had recently passed while trying to deal with said pest issues.

While we're talking with her, two people also in the room, transform into bat like creatures, winged heads covered in black fur with sharp fangs. Everyone inside panics and the party all jump to action to protect everyone *cough ourselves cough* Cass tries to shock the one right next to her but then finds them resistant to the damage, seeming unfased. Feora tries to shoot one with her crossbow but it dodges out of the way right as she shoots.

Celeste aims for the one at the table across from us, hitting it with her longbow straight through the mouth. Ember lands a blow on one with her pickaxe, striking it to the floor, barely holding on.

One of the flying things screams out frightening half the party and everyone inside. The other bat then tried to bite Ember who doged out of the way, Cass chill touching and turning the screaming one to dust before Feora takes one more shot of her crossbow, the bolt going straight through the last bat killing it.

Atp the new sheriff comes running in "what the hell is going on" tiny hat and vest obviously too small on the burly man's body. Proceeds to completly ignore the party who just saved everyone inside as he's rushed by the two people in charge of the town. Feora was rather put off by that, risking her life to not even get a proper thank you.

We then talk to the sheriff and the bartender about helping them with the problem of the bats and such. We get more information and head out to a gated part of town to investigate the house of the girl who had been turned.

We head towards the house and are stopped by guards, we show them a token coin the barkeep gave us and they let us right in. Feora flirtily waves at them ofc. As we walk up the house Feora starts to hear and feel a sort of humming coming from the house, and senses theres a magic ward over it, keeping something locked inside. She says it might not be a good idea to open it but is quickly overruled by the party, Ember taking a chunk out of the rune with her pickaxe before kicking down the door and rushing inside.

Feora immediately "Not the fancy door! Be careful with it! This is still someone's home!" Feora also goes in and is met with the sight of ten skeletons standing inside ready to burst through the doors.

The skeletons rush out as the party desperately try and hold them back, our attacks getting the biggest one down to near death. Celeste runs in, positioning themselves to get a good shot with there bow, killing one in a single hit. The skeletons then dash past us, while they try and get by us, putting in attacks as they clamber for the door.

Cass stands guard outside the door, shocking a skeleton and taking him down as he attempts to escape. We finally kill the biggest one, taking down a number of smaller ones as they try and get by us.

Feora puts away her crossbow and pulls out her dagger, landing a critical hit (my first nat 20 of DND) and shattering one of the skeletons arms. He's barely holding on as the last skeleton tries to get Ember, who swiftly crushes it with her axe.

Celeste then rushed outside, taking down the last skeleton just before it rushed off into town.

We then proceed to rob these people of house and home.

Stealing a journal the mayor had been using to blackmail people, two health potions, three bottles of wine, silverware, and three beautiful paintings that look to be worth a pretty penny we found in the attic. The Paladin only slightly objects.

Oh we also found a mirror the bartender paid us to grab and found out the town thinks the clock tower is haunted.

I had my first DND game tonight and oh my freaking god I am in love, it was so much fun.

My newest baby girl! Been wanting to get out more and found out that my local library holds a D&D campaign once a month so I made this lovely little Tempest cleric (and secret Swashbuckler rogue) for the game!
