Hook and Hearts

Heeeeyyyy. So @athena-xox and I were talking about how in Ever After High, the Queen of Hearts' advice to Lizzie warns her against friends but has a weird exception:

And then we decided the exception came about because the Captain Hook of her era was friends with her, and then this happened mostly against my will.

I think of their relationship less as a ship and more as Hook just regularly dropping in on Hearts to just chit-chat and get away from it all. I think Hearts definitely found them refreshing because Captain Hook has enough refined british upper-classness that they could treat her with appropriate respect and enough devil-may-care piratitude to not bother most of the time (and also to not be put off by the constant orders to behead them).

That means for once, Queen of Hearts got to have someone who liked her and treated her as a peer instead of a feared monarch, and it's good for her. For Hook, they got some lovely Wonderland insanity in their life, and a chance to not be in charge of anything, both of which were very relaxing from the stress of having a never-ending rivalry with a bloodthirsty immortal child (even in EAH when it's just a well-told story, that's gotta be exhausting).

You may notice this is in past tense. Thanks for nothing Evil Queen, you shattered both their hearts! :)

Also, if you can't tell, I headcanon Class of Classics Captain Hook as he/they nonbinary. Something that'll never cease to fascinate me is the gender roles in EAH Social Structure. Amongst commoners, they literally don't exist. Girl Pinocchio? Sure, why not. Literally nobody minds. Cerise can join the bookball team once the princes get over themselves, that's chill.

Amongst the royals though? Gender roles are so strictly enforced that fighting them is the major driving force of conflict for mutliple characters Most notably Darling, but it can also be observed in Dexter and Hopper's preferences for less physically oriented activities being a problem for them as opposed to Humphrey and Sparrow, who aren't expected to be able to fight dragons on a whim.

It makes thinking about which characters are trans and nonbinary and if and how they'd express that extra interesting! I tend to default to the same format: Commoners can be as loosey-goosey with their gender as they like, while Royals basically have to stay closeted or get labeled a rebel.

I created her for my EAH rp server on discord so lots of her story is based on the rp, though I might also make a fanfic of EAH and have her be a new character!

FANS OF DESCENDENTS, ONCE UPON A TIME, EAH, DISNEY AND THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL!

I summon all of you to bring forward something to your attention

We all know these fandoms and know that they have one thing in common. The heroes and villains and, of course, their children.

Now I love all these fandoms as much as the fans.

But imagine what the creators and authors of these worlds would create if they put their heads together and collaborated these worlds together in a way.

Allow me to explain further

There is the school of the royals, where all the heroes and royalty go to follow in their ancestors' footsteps located on an island similar to Auradon. Then there is the school of the rebels, where all the villains and sidekicks go located on an island similar to the isle of the lost. Wonderland Academy, where all Underland children go, and lastly, Oz Academy, where the children of the land of Oz go.

These three schools, of course, have a principle who runs the school, but they have to answer the Grimm family. And I don't mean the brothers Grimm, I mean their Descendents who (like the brothers Grimm) are the ones really running things

Imagine a gang that runs the rebel school, who is the daughter of Maleficent, a princess of the moors, dark fey, one of the most powerful students to ever attend the rebel school. Yhe son of Hades and Persephone. The daughter of Captain Jack Sparrow and the Son of Captain Hook, both children of famous pirates. The daughter of The Evil Queen, a sorceress of dark magic next to Morgana le Fay and her son (who is also a part of the group). The son of the Big badwolf. And the son of Scar, prince of the Outlands

The group who of the royal school is the son of King Arthur Pendragon (obviously) and Prince of Camelot. The son of Simba, prince of the Pridelands, and commander of the Lion guard. The daughter of Beauty and the Beast. The son of Prince Charming. The daughter of Mulan. The daughter of Elsa. The son of Hercules and Megara. And of course, the daughter of sleeping beauty.

Of course, the crew of Wolnderland Academy is the Queen or Hearts' daughter with her cousin, the White princess who is the daughter of the White Queen. The Mad Hatter and Alice Kingsley children (they are twins), the daughter of the Cheshire cat, and the daughter of the White Rabbit

Lastly, the Oz crew. The daughter of the great and powerful Oz. The daughter of Dorothy and her dog T.J. (Totto Jr.). The son of the Scarecrow. The daughter of the cowardly lion. The son of the tinman. The daughter of Glinda the good. And lastly, the son of the wicked witch of the west.

Seriously, guys, imagine the potential this has and imagine the epic world this could be. Take a moment and just imagine it. Because in my PERSONAL OPINION, this would be an awesome book and an awesome show to watch (if made correctly, of course)

Ever after high revival part one

If I were to make a revival/ reboot of this I’d start with a deals trip to never land and concepts I have for story and dolls

Cedar wood would hang out with the lost boys to become a real boy!(girl) and she’d get a cute raccoon theamed outfit and would come in a pack with two mini dolls (lost boys)

Madeline would try and sell her tea to the fairy’s and get a business/sales person fit a stand/cart to sell it and to top it all off her teacup headband has a tiny fairy in it

Raven would get a horseback riding fit to ride with the natives and it actually be respectful and based on an actual native tribe also her doll would get a horsey

Apple gets a green dress (Granny Smithify her) idk she’s hard to write for

Blondie keeps pulling shit out of her backpack like Mary Poppins to make sure the trip was just right

Briar is scuba diving to FIGHT the mermaids (icon)

Duchess teamed up with the daughter of Captain Hook to cause mayhem

Now for the Neverland kids

Sylvia hook is the daughter of Captain Hook has 2 prosthetic arms because her dad cut the original to spare her from the crocodile and she’s also missing an eye (pirate)

Penny daughter of Peter Pan is about the same as her dad (her and Sylvia are in a two pack)

Tamper bell son of tinker bell is a fairy and is in love with aero and isn’t all that interested in penny romantically

Has bluish greenish skin

Aero darling son of Wendy is in love with tamper but feels peer pressure from his mom to be with penny( also he chould be trans and his mom only accept his manhood if he’s straight)(plus t4t vibes)

Is black

Tamper and aero are in a two pack

I think they would get more sales if they aloud more queerness and diversity in eah and to make the characters have different fashion types because they all feel samey

Here are two of the pirate AU sketchbook pages to start with!! Excuse how chaotic they are as they’re from my sketchbook so I wasn’t expecting to post them but whatever!! I put my references for Bastian and Morgana Hook up so y’all aren’t super confused about the random characters.

I might draw some sketches of the characters later on so it’s easier to tell who’s who but I’ll do some rough explaining and maybe y’all will get some sort of idea.

First pic: Lizzie, pirate captain, front and center with the heart eye patch. Does she need it or is it a fashion accessory? I don’t know! Raven is first mate and Duchess is the maid/chef! Bastian and Morgana were shipwrecked and picked up to join their crew. Morgana is happy to join but Bastian and Lizzie butt heads as he is not a fan of being in the crew rather than leading it.

Second: Holly o’ Hair is a mermaid ofc which means Poppy is too but I didn’t draw her lol. Cupid is feature on the fair right with wings and the bandana. She doesn’t do much and definitely doesn’t fair well in a fight (think damsel in distress). Maddie is at the bottom right (turn your device to read fun facts lol). More info on Duchess on the bottom far left with her outfit, necklace, and boots.
