Trouble with Tribbles has to be the sassiest I've ever seen all of the Enterprise crew. Kirk hasn't gotten his way all episode, Bones and Spock go at it in the Med Bay, Scotty throws hands and insults Kirk when he finds out the fight wasn't over *his* honor but the Enterprise! A banger if there ever was one.

Is it because he won the All-Gotei Trash Talking Championship, or is this one of those things like tenteikura and opening senkaimon that are just traditional lieutenant duties? He's the only lieutenant present in the first situation. In the second, and in the second, he's the only lieutenant whose...captain is present?
