oh my fucking god i feel. SO stupid rn at How i didnt make the (super sane very normal just absolutely. Yes. Surely) connection earlier but uhh

so anyway im now like 89% certain that whatever the "traces" of the narwhal that remain on ajax and facilitate their (ever-growing) innate connection are like. an actually fundamental aspect of it (them?) more or less.

Dust to Dust - Nightmare accidentally getting killed by Dream, probably with his bow? While Dream is shocked & Nightmare is turning into dust, it takes until someone points it out for Dream to notice he is also dusting away at the same time.

Revert - Nightmare is hit with a positivity arrow(?) & the goop melts off of him as he screams in agony, eventually going quiet as his passive form is revealed laying passed out. Once he wakes up, he's very confused & can't understand anyone except for Dream, since languages have changed.

Fall - Something based on an incident that happened to me, where a tree fell & crushed me when I was young. Nightmare would take the place of me, obviously, in his passive form.

It just hit me that the reason I hate "therapy speak" (specifically the edge approaching business speak) as opposed to just saying what you mean is that it feels exactly like how I used to have to carefully craft how I felt about things to avoid putting blame on my mother lest she come at me. It's the same feeling of "I'm having to repackage what I actually want to say in a way that satisfies the questions demanded of me without getting me in more trouble." I despise it and especially when people use it on me, because I automatically interpret it as them trying to be careful around me when I haven't done anything to give them a reason to be so careful the way I had to be. Alternatively, I'm being told something awful but it's a nesting doll level of meaning to soften the blow. Intellectually I realize that's not generally the case and obviously it's rarely about me, but it flares my annoyance HARD when someone starts doing it to me. Say what you mean. I can take it. And it's also permission for me to say what I mean. If someone starts couching their feelings in 19 degrees of removal, I'm not going to feel comfortable being direct lest it come off mean by comparison. In essence, it signals the opposite of safety. It's a sign that a social dance has begun and I must play to be taken in good faith, and it drives me crazy.

Your joke was what was originally called transphobic. The transphobes you're yelling at to get off your post are defending you. You're the same as them. Either they're not transphobic or you are. Pick one because it's kinda dishonest and annoying to watch you make a big performance out of not wanting people who agree with you on your post.

I mean the thing is no one called me transphobic, if that had been the case I would've been a lot more apologetic rather than just calling out the transphobes that hijacked the og post. like, my post wasn't in response to being called out, it was in response to people being gross on my post and wanting to make it very clear that shit won't fly with me

as I said in the post it wasn't even a joke in itself, it was a note to my gp as shorthand to explain my situation without the need for follow up questions and it made me laugh bc the wording was funny, not adding in a disclaimer into that that trans women are women so lesbians can get pregnant, but I specifically am having sex with someone without a penis doesn't make me transphobic - makes the post come off wrong, sure, hence wanting to put something out there to explain that wasn't the intention and I'm not in any way alligned with the transphobes arguing on that post. had this been any other social media I would've just deleted the post and be done with it bc it was received differently than I intended, but deleting shit on tumblr doesn't do anything so it was more effective to turn off reblogs and comments, but I'm uncomfy leaving something that's being perceived as transphobic by transphobes on my profile without saying something to the contrary
