What do you think of Apollo's relationship with Dionysus before and after the events of ToA?

This has been sitting in my inbox for quite a while lol

Ancient Greece

Dionysus is canonically that little brother who copies everything his cool, older brother does lmao XD So I think he def pulled a Hermes and followed Apollo around a lot as a young god still getting his legs under him.

I also think Apollo went out of his way to help Dio get settled on Olympus and adjust to life there (cough, How To Not Piss Off Dad 101: A Course By Apollo [With Annotations by Ares])

However, I do think Dio wasn't as careful as, say, Apollo and Hermes are at Not doing something that would make Zeus upset. He's chaotic and unrestrained, after all.

I also think Dio is Zeus's second-favorite son - and I mean, Apollo's his favorite, and look at the punishments he gives him. I don't think it's much of a stretch to think Dio his is second fav when you take a look at Dio's punishment.

Zeus's favorites are punished much more harshly than the others.

Fluff HC: Dionysus learned his Entertainment skills from Apollo and took over for him when Apollo was unavailable.

Modern Era

Dio totally went to theaters and such with Apollo. Both of their favorite Hamilton song is "Wait For It". They adored SIX: The Musical, seeing both the original and Broadway performances. They are also avidly watching EPIC: The Musical's progress :3

"It's Tough To Be A God" is their theme. and "Loser, Baby". I don't take criticism :3

Also when they're drunk, they sing Wellerman :D

I feel like after Dio's punishment was given, they kinda drifted apart due to the distance. However, after ToA, I think Apollo would try to bridge that gap and they start hanging out more again, playing pinocle and such that ends with Apollo being STOMPED lmao
