I'm super hooked and it's only been one chapter! I can't get the last line out of my mind! "He’ll simply have to kill her again."!?!?!?

Was Bloom reincarnated?! Or does he mean an ancestor of Bloom?! If Bloom is a reincarnation, does this mean they knew eachother before and already fell for eachother?! So many questions.....

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry! I only have registered users able to leave comments because it seems every time I turn around, there’s an issue with the anon comments being spammed with bots. But since things have seemed to calm down with that, I’ll try to remember to switch it off before I post the next chapter —which, fingers crossed, will hopefully be this weekend!

Thank you so much for your kind words!! I’m so glad everyone seems to like it so much; I honestly was not anticipating this kind of reaction. And I hope that excitement continues into the rest of the fic once I reveal where we’re heading (so far no one has guessed it, which I’m very shocked about).

I wish I could answer all of your questions right now, but I’ll be honest I’m having way too much fun with all the secrecy. So I’m gonna leave the suspicion around Bloom a mystery for now! But, don’t worry, I promise this next chapter will be very … eye-opening.

have also been thinking abt them in an orchestra........ narcissa on flute (because i played flute for 5 years and im determined to make it do SOMETHING for me) and alice on bass or violin.. minerva as the conductor... lots of drama <- need more (4 my health btw)

so i actually have this one outlined a little bit ! basically theyre in a shitty enemies to lovers romcom where alice is a small-town rural girl who moves to new york (where narcissa is from). they have a Shitty Enemies To Lovers Romcom meeting (narcissa being an asshole & alice being a tourist) which leads them to hate each other <3 but then they find out theyre interviewing for the same orchestra dot dot dot. minerva is the conductor (i KNOW objectively it would probably make more sense for it to be dumbledore but i care about minerva way more than him sorryy)

i havent sorted out the instruments buuut i would probably make them the same instrument for the dramaaa (there was only one bed music stand). anyways they have to cooperate for this big performance but they cant stand each other (glaring at someone over a flute is a hysterical image to me but most likely i'll make them both first violins) sooo they eventually get into a fight and minerva turns into an elementary school teacher and makes them Sort It Out otherwise they will get detention fired (the only reason she doesnt fire them on the spot [<- she should bc its like a super . prestigious orchestra] is because they're the best she has ❤ and she is lowk shipping them)

ANYWAYS they have to hang out and practice something or whatever. (yes i am aware this sounds like its set in high school. thats because i have never participated in a band/orchestra thing outside of high school.) super super cliche but they like. get to know each other and theyre like "huh. this isnt so bad". instead of being at each others throats theyre bantering and vibing and becoming friends-ish. crazy stuff

eventuallyyy minerva lets them come back to the orchestra and they do a performance and they actually? work super well together?? what!!! somehow they develop feelings for each other & start realising it (an oh. oh. moment will make an appearance im afraid) etc etc

then they go on a date ! how that progression happens im not sure. i will play my aromantic card. anyway narcissa takes alice to this ridiculously fancy dinner (she is a nepo baby) and alice is like UMMM yeah no actually. I know a place 😏 so she takes narcissa to some shitty club with live music and then they go wandering around new york because!! i like that. then they go home together (and fuck probably but i cant write smut to save my life. i am now playing my asexual card) and they do silly little mundane domestic things because im weak (this chapter is called verismo which is like the use of everyday life and actions in artistic works: introduced into opera in the early 1900s in reaction to contemporary conventions, which were seen as artificial and untruthful. <- yeah that. so like theyre seeing each others Real Lives sort of.i dont know if that makes sense)

but then!! something happens n alice has to go back home to like . vermont or wherever shes from and she leaves the orchestra even though its her dream because she is.sthe nicest person ever or wahetver. she & narcissa miss each other like crazy though so narcissa goes out to alices parents house (recall this has the plot of a shitty romcom) and like . professes her love and insists alice comes back to the orchestra and alice is like Btu i cant! but narcissa has found a way to sort out whatever problem there was in the first place. so they go back together yay!! and fuck

then they have to do the big performance wooo big dramatic scene woooo and it goes well and they leap into each others arms and kiss and laugh and theyre happy blah blah blah the end

I dont. think i will ever finish it. there are so many plot points i havent figured out and i fear i can imagine nothing harder than writing about Playing Music. also ill probably make them violinists and i have not touched a string instrument in my life BUt this has been marinating in my mind for a while so thank you!!! for letting me share yay <3

I will never understand the people who leave a review just to correct a minor medical inaccuracy. Or other inaccuracies. Hell, one year, I had someone send me a three-page rant because I'd said clip instead of magazine in reference to a 9mm.

It's called a point of view, and sometimes fictional characters don't know everything.

This is why I have to slap the "No, this isn't how you respond to a seizure, but this character has a head injury and couldn't remember everything" warnings onto stories.

Sorry it took a bit to answer anon. College and work have been killing me these past few days^^;

01 - I speak five languages (German, French, English, Japanese and Korean) at varying levels of proficiency. I actually had my Korean final yesterday and I'd say it went pretty well 👀 Also I learned Italian for a while, though I only remember some basic phrases, how to say one idiom & how to flirt

02 - Ever since the Sins of Flesh update I've been SO obsessed with Cult of the Lamb again. These past few days the game icon just kept staring into my soul while I was trying my best to stay strong and focus on studying Speaking of being obsessed over games, once the new Professor Layton game releases I'm going to be SO annoying. Those games were my childhood :)

03 - When planning out a story, I have the habit of writing the plot details out on flashcards and putting them up on my walls. I get embarrassed over it whenever someone other than a select group of friends come over though, so when someone else visits I usually end up taking them down only to hang them back up once that person is gone lol

Bonus fact!

This one is probably going to MASSIVELY wrap everyone's view of me, but I feel like half of the more creative school work I submitted ended up being fandom related:

In eighth grade, we were supposed to write a two page long story about a murder case, and I just made it a Professor Layton x Phoenix Wright crossover. I even took one of the cases from Phoenix Wright as the base for my story, and I only barely changed the names, so you could EASILY tell that it was fanfiction

I got my English teacher to watch Assassination Classroom because we had to give a 3 minute presentation on something we liked. That's the same teacher that made one of his tests entirely about Batman btw, he was great <3 I also got my math teacher to watch the anime AND read the manga because I asked him about one math problems from it that I just didn't get. He wrote down the solution and literally programmed a little something to help me better understand how to get there. Another great teacher <3

Had to write a three-word story (you're given three words as prompts and have to built a short story around them), except one of the words was "chinchilla". I ended up writing about a "killer chinchilla" which is just the nickname my sister gave Minccino

I once ended up the state winner in a nation-wide art competition with a Pokémon ORAS-themed watercolor drawing I did (that piece was graded, so I'm counting it toward school work)

We were tasked with drawing a picture inspired by a song. I took My Hero Academia's first ED and made the drawing itself about My Hero Academia as well. Burnt through way too many pencils for this one. They hung it right next to the teachers' room, idk if it's still there tho

That same year we were also tasked with "building a creative trash can", and so I decided to make a little Korok that collects paper waste in a little bag. I also learned how to sew in order to make the bag, so that's cool (pic below!)

I somehow convinced my teacher to let me write my seminar paper on My Hero Academia

In elementary school, my friend group came up with a play set in Animal Crossing, and I ended up writing the entire thing (as in literally writing it so that you could act it out in Animal Crossing itself). That wasn't school work by any means, but regardless, I still very much did print it out just so I could give it to my homeroom teacher, so there's that

Also not school work, but once again in seventh grade I wrote an Animal Crossing New Leaf fanficiton (???) where you could vote what would happen next on the end of every chapter. A good portion of my class read it and I also made my PE teacher read the first chapter

That's by far not all of it but those were the first few things that popped into mind. Anyway, here's the pic of my little Korok paper waste collector!
