🦋⬛️⬜️🦋 Today is my 26th Birthday, but more importantly than that, today is the 2 year anniversary of “CN Akumas”’s completion! 🦋⬛️⬜️🦋 To celebrate, I’ve decided to come back to this story and update it a little. To do this I’ve been going through the chapters and doing some small alterations (fixing grammatical errors, rewording some sentences and occasionally adding some more information or expanding a few scenes further). The core of the story of each chapter and the fic as a whole will stay the exact same, it will just be freshened up a bit.

Here’s the link to the fic, if you’ve not read “CN Akumas” before or want to revisit it. As of right now, I’ve updated Chapters 1-5 and I’ll soon be getting to the other 25 chapters. Also, I’ve decided that I will go through every single original Akuma, that I’ve created for this story and give them a bit of a redesign, starting with The Queen of Broken Hearts later this week and going in order. Stay tuned every Wednesday and Sunday for a new Akuma redesign! 😁 (This part is also a bit of an excuse for me to work on developing my own style, because ever since I started all the CN City drawings and everything else that required me to mimic other art styles, I've kinda lost mine.)

I do keep going back and forth on if the writers of Dexter Original Sin included all of this Deb wanting to go on double dates with Dexter and Deb wanting Dexter to date her best friend stuff as a way of circumventing the Deb and Dexter situation or as a way of addressing it without going full throttle. What’s Dexters relationship to cosmo and Wanda

Cosmo and Wanda have retired again, after Hazel's 18th birthday. As much as they love godparenting, they're also ready for something else, and there's more shenanigans for them to get into as "totally normal humans". Also, it's undoubtedly going to be hard to continue godparenting when, for the first time, your godkid actually remembers you after ceasing to be their godparent.

Cosmo and Wanda often act as babysitters for Dexter. They use their magic to entertain him, but thanks to Da Rules, they do have to disguise it. Luckily, Dexter is a HUGE fan of illusions and party magicians, so it is a very easy case. Dexter LOVES Cosmo and Wanda, and their kooky and eccentric antics. He fondly refers to them as a part of his family. Cosmo and Wanda love spending time with Dex- having such a young kid around reminds them of when Peri was a kid! But it's very unusual to them to look after a child, and not be granting their every wish and whim.

Cosmo and Wanda HAVE made the offer to Hazel and Dev to become Dexter's godparents, much like how they'd chosen to be Hazel's when she was 10. Hazel and Dev are very conflicted in regards to their son and magic- They can't tell him about fairies, and if Dex has fairies, they can't really know or be in the loop regarding what wishes he is making (Not to mention, Dev's fear of failing his son so badly that he needs a fairy). For now, it's a "no".

Dexter is a little too young to pick up that something isn't quite right about Cosmo and Wanda, he just thinks they are very good at magic tricks, but feels upset that Cosmo and Wanda will never teach him the tricks.
