if you made gems of rainbow moonstone(which is actually labradorite) and rainbow lattice sunstone(which is actually orthoclase) would you consider them as the type they are named as, the type they are chemically, or as a type of their own like you did with mint and golden beryls?

I would consider the chemical formula, since the name is not that important. Also, there is a variety of Corundum called "Oriental Amethyst", but it is actually a "Purple Sapphire", perhaps these varieties would change their shape a little (distanced from the original), just like the other varieties of Jade or Beryl. A great example is Iolite, which is nicknamed "Water Sapphire", is actually another Gem:

Matteddleite, Pearl and Sainfeldite

This is my entry for @chromarrays 2000 follower contest!

Relationship Description

These three are the representation of a healthy polyamorous relationship. They are currently unaligned. Matteddleite and Sainfeldite met each other first and fell in love with each other, at the dismay of their respective courts. Keeping their relationship hidden after warnings of being shattered, they found Pearl, wandering aimlessly without her owner and both grew very fond of her. They all lived in secret but now that Homeworld’s society has changed for the better, the three can live happy together.

Gems Descriptions

Matteddleite, Matt for short, is a happy-go-lucky, gentle gem who tries to see the good in others. This can be a flaw, as they can be very oblivious to pretty much everything.

Lavender Pearl lost her previous owner, Tiffany Stone, in a commotion that caused them to split. She is a gem of few words but has slowly but surely opened up since her relationship.

Sainfeldite is a little ball of energy. Her size means nothing as she is the strongest of the three, very similar to that of ants. She is also the oldest and most experienced.

I’ve never entered a contest before so I thought this would be cute for me to do! Thank you @chromarrays​ for having such a cool idea! Congrats on 2000+ followers and cheers to many more!

so far the criticisms i have are the fact that I can’t find the activity page, some of the colour pallets hurt my eyes (the brighter ones obvs) and there’s a loss of xkit functionality

would like to play with it more but so far it’s basically tumblr mobile but for desktop, which whie the layout looks cleaner imo idk how to feel about it since it’s still early days

Like I said, here’s Magnesium!!

She’s quite an airhead, and can shape her hair blobs into objects, like Bismuth. She doesn’t like rain, as her body melts quite easily in moisture, so she has a lot of supports for her body.

Hey mentioning Yellow, I just wanna point out that the diamonds always have shadows even tho the are just under the sun. Look at Yellow, and Blue, and sometimes Pink. Guess who always had shadows on her hair and breasts????? rOSE QUARTTZ. MORE FORESHADOWING

haha, yes. i think beyond foreshadowing, its a design choice that makes them stand out. and since they are so much bigger that the rest of the characters, often their faces will take a larger portion of the screen, so the crew made sure that their faces are more detailed.

Hey, I hope you can help me. I remember a member of the crew did a sketch where we can see what looks like a Lapidot fusion, with butterfly-shaped glasses. It was along another sketch, can't remember if it was Amethyst??? Can ya help me to find it please?

Rainbow Pyrite

The (now digitalized) fusion of Pink Danburite and @chromarrays ' Chrome Sphene (who for me is fantastic) (They/them)

Rainbow Pyrite is similar to a forgetful Sardonyx. They are a pretty good combination who's capable of being funny and serious from a moment to another. On battle, they don't have rivals. They sometimes forget that they have a weapon and think about that when the enemy is beaten and being like "Oh, right, we have a weapon" or "Why didn't we thought about this before?". Her weapon is a mace combination of Star Ruby's Box Gloves and Albite's Laser Visor, who combined form Dan's Laser Box Gloves, who then mixed with Pyro's Bo Staff form their mace.

Hydrogrossular, the fusion of my Amber and @chromarrays ‘s Pyromorphite.

Pyro and Amber would probably be at least acquaintances, maybe even friends. I chose Hydrogrossular because it was an interesting olive-green gem with patterns that reminded me of Amber’s. The resulting fusion definitely looks a lot like both their components, pretty much equally.

Their weapon is a trident, and since they can be a bit clumsy, they’re not the best with it. 

They’re very nervous, timid, and shy. They’re so uncertain of what they’re doing, they often hesitate for a long while before making a move. They’d probably be considered a ‘good guy’, if they just decided to strike sooner. They have a strong sense of justice, despite their delayed reactions.
