Alright, part two of my Tier List! Below will be tier C and below. I am keeping a lot of this more brief than the above. And please, remember, these are my opinions from just my first watch and my opinions will and have already been changing.

C Tier: Salo: He's really annoying. Kind of bitchy. A drama queen. Also, he's very pretty after Viktor touches him. Vander/Warwick: He was fine, I guess. It was nice he was caring (please remember this is just my first opinion from my first playthrough, don't come for me) Everyone else in C: They were fine. Singed was interesting but not enough for me to care all that much. I liked Clogger, mostly in the glimpse of him from the AU so maybe this doesn't count lol. D Tier: Jayce: Listen. I know a lot of people are going to be pissed about this. But, I just did not like him. Nepo baby vibes. Ego so big I can breathe it in through the screen. I cannot forgive him for what he did to Viktor to try to "save" him. (reminder...) He isn't in F Tier only because Viktor loved him (platonically or otherwise, idk). Benzo: Honestly. Don't really remember much of him, never stood out but I think he was nice. Mylo: Honestly, should have put this whiney crybaby rude af mfer in F Tier, idk what I was thinking.

F Tier: Ambessa: Honestly, I just hate everything about this woman. It's great she's strong and a hardass and a badass. Whatever. Bringing an army to another city like that is just messed up in my opinion. Encouraging someone you can puppeteer to basically become a dictator, also not it. I also blame her for Viktor becoming the Machine Herald- if she had not attacked the commune I don't think Viktor would have been pushed over the edge to fully transform as he would not have lost hope or gotten the idea that human emotion will only bring destruction. Marcus: an idiot and a coward. Next. Cait's mom: I... don't remember why I put her in F Tier. Maddie: we ALL know why she's here.

Tier List Discussion

So, after my first watch through of Arcane, I had made a tier list I found online. I knew I wanted to go back and address the tier list after my second watch through, but I wanted to put my thoughts on a post about my frist watch through.

Unfortunately I just did a season one rewatch that has already changed my opinions on characters, so I will try to write my opinions here by trying to focus on how I was feeling and thinking after my first watch. I had watched the first five episodes of the first season over a month ago and picked up from there, so my memory of characters in season one was poor. You will see a big change in some of my opinions once I redo this tier list, I think.

Below is my elaboration for who is where and why from tiers S[uper] S to B as tumblr has text limit. I will reblog with the other tiers.

S[uper] S Tier: Viktor; I just... love him. I love his ambition. I love his fears. I love his hubris. I love his struggle with mortality, the way he fought so hard for a better life for himself. The way he wanted to improve the lives of other people he didn't even know, and an entire city; his home. I love his soft voice, his sarcasm, his determination. There is no part of this man that I do not love. Even when he's consumed and transformed into Machine Herald. I love that tin man, too.

S Tier: Ekko; he, too, has ambition and love for his community and his people, his city, the lives of others who he doesn't even know. In my opinion, he covets and cherishes the connections he makes and clearly will fight like hell and never give up. Despite all of that, he is still soft. Jinx/Powder: I have BPD and get major BPD vibes (amongst other diagnoses) from Jinx/Powder. The meltdowns over being "abandoned", the meltdowns of actually being abandoned. The fear of abandonment. Feeling as if everything I do is wrong and terrible and can do no right. The paranoia, the anger, the frustration and sadness and... everything. The need to be loved and not feel as if you're replaceable. The yearning for familial connection and feeling it so harshly when it fails or is taken from you. Giving into the mania, leaning into it, and being as horrible as others think you are out of spite, but also because you started to believe it long ago when you were told over and over how awful you are. The moments of goodness that has been inside you from the beginning, feeling whole and welcome and loved, just for it all to be ripped from you over and over. And despite it being taken away repeatedly, having hope that "maybe this time, they'll stay and I won't be alone anymore". This young woman is so fucking tragic and seeing that she is still deserving of love and rehabilitation helps me give myself more grace. I just really love and relate to Jinx/Powder. Sevika: This woman is just... strong. I wish I had her strength. She is confident, loyal (I know this is debatable since she turned her back on Vander, but I watched a video and the guy theorized she's loyal to strength, and I agree). I admittedly do not know much of her story. But, her strength and the way she bounces back from the worst shit is just admirable. A Tier: Vi: Again, I am so drawn to the strength, here. Wanting better for her sister. Always hoping for the best out of someone, even when they're too far gone (Jinx, Vander/Warwick) and never giving up on them. Even after being locked up for so long, her heart is still good and so hopeful. Rictus: Dude is built like a brick shithouse and is just a badass. That's all. Isha: A tough as hell little cookie, loyal to the very end. I am sure she would have been so strong and smart as an adult, definitely heavily influenced visually by Jinx. Jinx's little shadow (affectionate). She had so much potential. Silco: Ambition. Hubris. (I have a type, yes?) Just an all around well written villain (I have way more opinions on him now that I have done my second watch, but I am keeping this post to my thoughts from just my first watch) Mel: A lowkey badass turned high key badass. (again... different opinions now, this is just from my first watch). B Tier: Caitlyn: She was pretty good, don't get me wrong. I just did not really enjoy her story or her background. I honestly think I only like her and have her so high up is because of Vi. Nothing super special about her stood out to me. Grayson: I think a big reason why I like her so much is because I love her voice actress, not going to lie. But, she was also a very strong character. Direct. Clear about her intentions. Despite being a top sider, she still was concerned, in a way, for the under city. She knew Vander was the one keeping things "okay" and she did not want to risk problems by taking him away.

SIMBLR PSA: Stop putting story posts, cas screenshots, dollhouse builds, room builds, build screesnhots, renders, and etc. in #ts4cc tag!!!

Many of you aren't even using CC in your builds or screenshots, so why would you tag them as CC?

As a general rule of thumb: if it isn't actual, downloadable custom content and it also doesn't link to CC, it shouldn't be in the CC tag. People use the #ts4cc tag to "shop" for custom content: and story posts/screenshots of your sims or builds don't belong there, even if your sim happens to be wearing CC or the build you're showing off has CC in it. Posts unrelated to downloadable, linked custom content will clog the tag and make finding the actual downloadable content more challenging, and this will ultimately lead to people blocking you so that your posts don't show up when they're trying to shop for cc. Trust me, you're not going to receive more likes or engagement by purposely misusing a tag.

I'm sure there are even more alternatives, but these are the popular ones that I see used most often. Remember, if it isn't downloadable cc, it should not be in the cc tag. There are new people here on simblr every day, so I assume many new blogs might not know this and that's why the #ts4cc tag is filled with a mess of unrelated content. Tumblr's tagging system already sucks - please do not make it worse! Hope this is helpful to someone!
