how appropriate.. an apple being rolled into the inclosure the inquisitor put jace in. how appropriate when apples represent sin, the forbidden fruit, the first sin and that which was inevitable because of adam and eve's make-up, and how no matter how hard jace tries to explain that he'd never sinned, that it wasn't him who'd taken a bite, he is villified, his arguments dismissed, his make-up used as evidence against him. how appropriate when apples never fall far from the tree and jace was locked up for that very perception. how appropriate that he can't himself roll away from the sins of his father and must instead be always returned to him.

but also how appropriate that the apple made it through the barrier. how appropriate that its juice protested against the binding at jace's wrists. how appropriate when his father is the reason he's been imprisoned, but when his father isn't his father at all.

stephen's sins still find their way to jace because of how imogen has dealt with her own son's death, but the apple is also an opportunity, a key for release. it's something to be bitten into and claimed. the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and imogen can already sense that something of stephen in jace, but the apple wasn't given to jace by a herondale.

how appropriate that jace's brother is the one to send this apple accross the barrier, to feed him. how appropriate when lightwood is the family, the tree, chosen for and by jace. how appropriate when the lightwoods have their own guilt and sins to claim, and that jace does not deny that but still sees that which sets them apart. how appropriate that jace takes alec's encouragement and enabling, and the apple he brought him, and frees himself from this fate defined by one family tree and assigned by another.

how appropriate, an apple.

Reading coa for the second time again. I just realised how hot Clarke is there. Like yeah thats’s a no brainer coz that’s clarke mfkingriffin.. but really picturing it? A doctor, with those blue eyes, that bod, and she’s much older? My god. No wonder tiny bean angel is such a fiend.

The confidence. The shameless flirting. Clarke saw that little weirdo on the street, listened to her choke on her own tongue for exactly 4 seconds, and definitively decided, "Mine 😤"

Been rereading your coa febuwhump fics. Do you know the order they met each other in? Specifically Fiest and Spirit.

(Blorbo hours): How did First feel when he found someone who could see him and talk with him?

I do! They actually start out in smaller groups, so it’s like— Windy and Hue meet up, and then they’re joined by Hibiscus and Kaleidoscope, but in the meantime in a different era, Slate, Gloam, Brownie, and Light end up together, and in yet another era, Cloud, Mini, and Sprite end up in a group too.

Era doesn’t come until a bit later, but when he does he joins Cloud’s group. Spirit and First are actually by themselves for a bit before they join a group too, they end up with the Slate bunch (actually everyone does in the end).

They all hop around separately for a bit, then all get together at one point, and possibly get mixed up into different groups again, (haven’t totally decided XD). Hopefully that all makes sense 😅

takumi in coming of age route is so interesting because like. this is the shounen route. this is "what if hndr was a sports anime" route (complete with a training montage!). this is takumi learning to be a respected leader, having friendships, enjoying youth, and saving the world.

this is also the route where takumi missed the mask eito wore in route 0 so he brainwashes him so he can act "normal" and be his confidant/friend again. truly the "I can fix him" route (no you can't, takumi, there's nothing to fix)

Is Alycia a big sports fan? She was seen at a Knicks’ game and possibly at the LA Dodgers playoff tonight if I’m seeing things correctly in her bf’s IG.

Lol. Lmao even. No I don't think she's a sports fan, at least she's said before that she's not. This is the girl who has said "go sport" unironically. She "go sport"s her way through life. But ya know, ya do stuff with your partner that they like even if you yourself aren't the biggest fan of it, so it would make sense 🤷‍♀️
