There's so much to hate about coke but the fact that they are coming out with a permanent new flavor called coco cola spice, that has a *checks notes* hint of raspberry and isn't spicy, have it come out around Valentine's Day
AND YOU DONT CALL IT COCOCOLA RIZZ?
Added to the sin list, I was already done but now I'm insulted
Admittedly, if it's supposed to line up with the dune movie and we get an absolute rotund sand worm on the side of the coke bottle I will lose so much moisture over it. Can you imagine it?
#literally how did you let this pass#are you fucking kidding me?#i know they're evil but my fuck lords AND Ladies#by fuck thats bad#and why spice?#im going to loose it#and raspberry? bomb flavor. question: why is it called spice?#thw taste tester had whatever the opposite of the xmen gene is and choked from the raspberry heat#i think thats just an allergic reaction dawg#coco cola#coco cola spice#raspberry?#dune#dune drink#feel the dehydration#theres just sand in there#okay but what if we owned all the water=drying liquid#just a fat ass worm on the side of the can#id loose it#see my vision

Out of curiosity, what kind of fragrances do you like? I've been on my own journey of finding my signature scent and I think I almost got it! :)
you have opened the can of worms (just kidding 😂)
i live in tropical country but i personally don’t enjoy light scents. citrusy or fruity scents aren’t really my thing so i settle for powdery-floral instead. narciso poudree has been my favorite and i keep getting a new bottle when i run out of it. i unintentionally collected tuberose/white floral kind of perfumes too but i feel it’s too heavy to wear daily. i also really like amber-spicy note that because it’s pretty refreshing for me and on my skin. i wear chanel coco quite often for night time but it can smell like “old lady vanity” for some people i think.
i have some niche perfumes as well but it’s very specific smells like cola smell (it’s basically cola spices smell) or salted caramel waffle (very subtle on the skin but the concept of it is interesting). so i wear them on a day i need to feel a bit different than usual.
thank you for this question though i love yapping about perfume!

The McSpicy burger I have tried it quite a few times over the years. Frankly speaking, I found it a little too spicy for me though in recent time the heat seems to have been toned down or maybe I have grown more tolerant of the spices. When McDonald's Singapore released the new Sweet BBQ McSpicy and a new dessert, it is time to go try them out.

youtube
At the self-serve kiosk, I chose the Sweet BBQ McSpicy Feast (S$10.40) which came with the mentioned burger, a medium-sized fries and a Cocoa-nut Pie. Paid S$0.85 to upgrade the cola to a small ice milo. It is still the same old McSpicy that I know but with a sweet and smoky twist and slices of crispy chicken bacon! The BBQ creme sauce adds flavours and toned down the spiciness so I don’t have to keep reaching for the cup of ice milo. Overall, a notch better than the OG McSpicy but for a limited time only.

Now for the cocoa and coconut dessert, the warm Cocoa-nut Pie. The crispy cocoa shell hides the creamy coconut milk and nata de coco filling. It is not too sweet and the chewy pieces of coconut water jellies complements the crispy crust.

Coco Nut Cream
Lemon Jazz
Jojaberry Smash
Cherry Creamsicle
Salmon Sparkler

Which ones would you try?
#stardew valley#stardew valley fanfic#sdv fanfic#stardew valley villain#I tried to make these sit on the border between 'would drink' and 'WTF'#and I feel like they all landed on WTF but that might be because I don't drink cola

Cutie Reviews: TokyoTreat Oct 19
I think I’m doing pretty good progress wise, please be patient with me as I continue to try to review old boxes~

“October is here, bringing with it those spooky Halloween vibes! Halloween has been growing in popularity in recent years, and since Japan loves their seasonal snacks we had plenty of new, interesting items to choose from! In the spirit of being spooky but kinda cute, we’ve created a Poke-Monster Night for you to enjoy! No sharing these tricky snacks though!“
For this months contest, the winner could receive figures of Naruto and Sasuke from Naruto, while runner-ups won a cute pokeball candy and stamp. Lucky Treat consisted of Full Metal Alchemist, Dragon Quest, AND three devil fruits from One Piece, the Gomu Gomu (Gum), Mera Mera (Flame), and Ope Ope (Operation. Also, they accidentally mislabeled as the “dark dark fruit”). I was very excited that they included the 3 belonging to 3 of my favorite characters~
Pokemon Ramune & Strange Syrup DIY
(Please see top pic for images)
For this month, we get a basic, straight-laced ramune drink. Thank goodness :P as much as I like to try new flavors, sometimes I forget the original is probably the best... especially in comparison to those yucky flavors that I’m still traumatized by <_< and this month we even get a really cute pokemon label.
Ramune is basically that “soda“ flavor you’ll see in Japanese candy. It has a sweet, sort of lemon-ish taste but its not sour. It’s a little like sprite, but in my opinion it tastes way better. It’s especially yummy whenever it’s warm out or if you worked up a thirst. It’s also really fun to open because of the marble inside!
If you have ever wanted to try out Ramune, I would suggest checking on Amazon (they have a variety of fruit flavors too), or maybe the Japan Haul website (the website made through Tokyo Treat and its various brands).
- - - - -
The DIY I just included a bonus pic of because I’ve done it several times. It’s a super-sticky, thick syrup like candy that only requires you to mix the 3 flavors, which are strawberry, soda, and lemon. Together they make grape... which looks like this:

Because this candy was a little old, I think it was a bit off. The lemon and soda flavors were fine, but I noticed that not only was strawberry orange instead of pink, which might explain this... greenish-honey color. It’s usually a little purple if I recall.
Also, it didn’t really taste like grape this time, and it wasn’t as good in my opinion- but I guarantee if you open it as soon as you get it, it tastes much better. If you don’t like sticky/gooey textures you might wanna skip this one though.
Halloween Milk Senbei & Bloody Cola Marshmallow

Since I subscribed like 3 years ago, I’ve only seen senbei in a box once; I was very excited to see it again! It’s stuff like this I wish they would include more of, because I want to try the unique foreign flavors you know?
Anyway, the milk senbei is a plain, very thin melt-in-your mouth cracker-like snack that pretty much tastes like ice cream cone, but a teensy bit sweeter. This one comes with a cola flavored sauce to put on top of it. Each 1 (or one pack, not sure) is around 25-27 calories.
♥ ♥ ♥
I really like the taste of ice cream cones, I don’t know why, I just always have. Meanwhile, the jelly/sauce is purple, but it indeed tastes like cola ♥ it’s very yummy. However... together, they get a strange taste and that I’m not very fond of. I can’t even describe it, but its weird. But eating it in small doses is tolerable.
- - - - -
Speaking of cola, we also got a really cute marshmallow filled with a cola jelly! It’s like they combined two of my favorite things~
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s very soft and yummy, the jelly inside tastes about the same as the sauce from the prior item, but it tastes so much better with the marshmallow.
Apple Pie Kit Kat & Brown Sugar Sweets

Instead of orange kit kats this year, we get to see fun purple one :D these kit kats are inspired by an apple pie. As you can see they also come in a large pack to share with others or to eat yourself. Each pack is 65 calories.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I love the coloring of these, first of all. It’s such a pretty purple, and its fun too. The apple flavor is very prominent, and it has a very small hint of spice, while the wafer brings to mind a sugary crust. It’s sweet, but mildly.
- - - - - -
These are popular for their melty and soft texture, with a very thin, crisp layer of rich brown sugar coating. Each one of these is 17 calories.
♥ ♥ ♥
These are kinda basic, but it’s a yummy sweet that isn’t overly sugary. I think it goes good with the apple pie kit kat, and maybe some milk.
Disappearing Taste?! Mixed Gummies, ZomB Grape Gum, & Blue Green Soda Gum

We got 3 gums this month! Our first is very familiar, because we’ve had this gum before. The only difference is this is its washed out, slightly different cousin. Basically, you’re given a set of flavors of gum, in this case yogurt, strawberry, orange, and white grape/muscat. You can eat them as is, or mix the flavors to make new ones, like a fruit drink, melon soda, or different fruits.
What makes this one special however, is that there is a special gumball that supposedly makes the flavor disappear? I mean, isn’t that what gum does normally?
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
This gum is really nice, you get a lot of them per-resealable pouch, and the flavors are always pretty good. Plus I like how the gum is smooth and soft in texture. I didn’t really notice any difference with this one from the last pack I had other than flavors.
- - - - -
Next up, we have the ZomB Gum; a popular Halloween item that we have seen before; I think about 2 or so years back, when we got the red cola vampire version. What makes this gum really fun is that it colors your tongue as you chew it, and it has a delicious grape flavor.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
This gum has the same texture as the other gum, so I really like it. The color effect isn’t nearly as strong as the package shows, but it’s a cute little gimmick, and it tastes great. The flavor lasts about 5 minutes.
- - - -
Our last gum is another brand I’ve had before. I have had both this flavor, and their cola version. It’s pretty much the same concept as the ZomB gum (they’re made by the same brand), but its in two sticks and you get a soda flavor, and a melon flavor.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I’d pretty much say the same things as I did about the previous two gums. All three were delicious and I would recommend any of them.
Poteco Pumpkin Gratin & Pringles

Here we have two salty, savory snacks for the box. But of course, the Poteco are not new to us, in fact I think last Halloween we got the exact same pack; minus slightly different packaging. Poteco is good and all, but I got so tired of seeing it that I tend to... shy away from it now. This flavor wasn’t really that different from the original/normal Poteco either.
- - - - -
I was a lot more excited for this item, a unique pack of Japanese Pringles :D Looking at the package, this is a type of ramen or noodle bowl flavor. It’s a mystery item in the booklet so I’m not really sure, but for this small can it is 267 calories!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Honestly, these are so yummy that I don’t even care how many calories there are. The flavor is very strong, it tastes exactly like this cup ramen I like to buy. Trying to describe the flavor, I would say it’s sort of like beef or soy sauce broth, with a hint of a corn taste?
Pokemon Halloween Chocolate & Pikachu Gummies

These are both snacks we’ve had before, so I’ll try to just gist this one.
These crispy snacks are shape like pikachu heads and come in fun, colorful packaging featuring a variety of Pokemon, while the back usually has a fun puzzle or image. Each bag is 83 calories and they are by the brand Tohato.
These are really yummy x3 they have a slightly bitter chocolate taste and remind me a lot of the coco crispy cereals.
- - - - - -
The other snack is also pikachu-shaped, but besides its head, there are also the occasional tail you might find ;3 These are by Lotte, and each pack is 90 calories. The flavor is grape and they taste really good too.
The only real thing to bother me about these is that they didn’t cut the gummy around Pikachu’s ears. It’s a minor thing but it bothers me a little.
Halloween Corn Potage Umaibo

Okay, so... because I talk about this a lot, I’m not actually planning on saying anything about it this time :P long story short, corn potage Umaibo is the best.
Squid Legs & Halloween Pizza Corn Snack

Don’t let the name fool you, these are not real squid legs- they just have a fishy taste. I’ve had these before too, and I have fairly complex feelings about them. On one hand they don’t taste terrible, but I don’t like seafood and the flavor is still unappealing to me. I like their crunchy texture though.
- - - - -
Next up is this corn puff snack featuring a delicious pizza flavor! They taste exactly like the pizza-flavored combos, if you never had those before I would recommend them too~
Pokemon Cola Chewing Candy

This is our final item... and now that I look at it, it kinda looks like a wafer cookie doesn’t it?
Anyway, these are sticks of chewing candy that come in various series and flavors. Before we had some grape Thomas the Tank Engine ones, and this time we get some cola Pokemon. Each wrapper usually includes a unique design, craft, or puzzle of some sort.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I don’t know if these are hard because they had to sit around for a while, or because that is just how they are. I don’t remember the Thomas ones being so hard, but they weren’t as thick as these. But if you suck on them for a few minutes they soften up, or you can crunch them to softness. The flavor is very yummy, I think it might be my favorite cola flavored item in the box.
♥ Cutie Ranking ♥
Content - 4.5 out of 5. Everything is very yummy, even though a fair amount of it was repetitive. I really liked it. Theme - 4 out of 5. Well, given the packaging and theme, I could say yeah they did pretty good. We had a decent amount of Pokemon items, but they could have done a little more too I think. Total Rank: 9 out of 10. I really liked this box, I just wish maybe we would have had a couple more unique items.
♥ Cutie’s Scale of Yummy ♥
(I’m sorry, but by this point I’m not really feeling well. I want to finish the review so that I can go lay down DX)

How do you use Gluconite?
You are not aware of the large amount of ultraprocesses that you consume daily
More than half of the food you buy at the supermarket is not real food: it is ultra- processed products. We already told you what the turkey meat you eat really was, but there is much more. This has been discovered by a new study by El CoCo , the free application that detects ultra-processed.
Research has determined that 64% of the products of food that we buy more Spanish leads many additives and therefore are 'pseudoalimentos' potentially harmful to health.
[ Your salad is making you fat]
The study has analyzed the degree of processing, nutritional quality and the presence of additives and simple sugars in 124 foods corresponding to the 35 best-selling brands in our country, according to the ' Kantar Brand Footprint Spain 2018 ' ranking.
Among the brands analyzed we find Danone, Bimbo, Coca-Cola, Don Simón, El Pozo, Gallo, Pescanova, Puleva, Buitoni and Oscar Mayer.
The danger of ultra-processed foods
The figure is alarming, and the worst is that many of the ultraprocesados we consume we think are healthy, as with smoked, canned vegetables or baby food.
[ The truth about beer, is it fattening or not?]
Also, these products can make us sick. A recent study, published in the British Medical Journal and conducted among 105,000 participants, found that if the consumption of this type of food was increased by 10%, the risk of suffering from cancer in general increased by 12% and breast cancer by 11%.
What ultra-processed foods do you eat
If you do not know what ultra-processed is and you get mixed up with the food nomenclatures, pay attention to the NOVA system, currently used by the World Health Organization (WHO), which divides food into four groups according to its degree of processing:
Thus, we would have:
· Group 1: unprocessed or minimally processed foods. They are real fresh or frozen foods that have not been processed. We have fruits, vegetables, meat or fish.
· Group 2: processed culinary ingredients. They are the oils, sugar, salt and spices.
· Group 3: processed foods. They are products that are obtained by adding salt, oil, sugar or other substances to Group 1 foods, with the aim of increasing durability or improving their qualities. They are the preserves, the cheeses, the sausages ...
· Group 4: ultra-processed. They are not modified foods, but industrial preparations with hardly any vitamins and rich in unhealthy fats, salt and sugars. This group includes the majority of soft drinks, snacks, industrial pastries and precooked products.
[ The seven foods you should never eat at night]
As we can see, and according to data from the study, Group 4 foods constitute 64% of our daily diet, which is not only unhealthy, but is also dangerous for health.
Remember, reader, that the more real food you eat, the better for you and your figure.
Diabetes is a common disease in our society, affecting 2-5% of the general population, with many more people unaware that they may be affected by this condition. Diabetes results from a lack of insulin, or insensitivity of the body towards the level of insulin present. Thus if you have diabetes, your blood sugar level may move outside the normal limits.

2. Marketing Schemes (Tide Super Bowl Ad and Coco Cola Feed Add)
In the novel Feed in chapter 31, the young group of teens are excited because Coca Cola is running a promotion that if you talk about Coke with your friends so much they will give you a free six pack. The kids think it is a great ideal to "get over on the major company and get free stuff out of them. so the teens talk about Coke their love of Coke, praising Coke for some of their most precious childhood memories. "Ironically" talking about Coke so much they get thirsty and go by Coke. This is ironically similar to the 2018 Super Ad constructed by Tide detergent. the commercial mocked and recreated typical commercials for other products, but the spoiler would be 'Nope its still a Tide commercial", This tactic put in the consumers head that even when the Tide commercial was over you still are going to associate every commercial you watch with Tide. According to the Washington Post no other company did it as well as Tide, whose series of ads throughout this year’s matchup managed to be surprising and memorable, and made many people forget that people were poisoning themselves with the “Tide pod challenge.”
Tide’s commercials managed to look simultaneously like a bro-ed out beer ad, an all-American truck ad, a low-budget insurance ad and even an Amazon Alexa ad. What makes them a Tide ad? The clean clothing that everyone wears, according to star David Harbour of “Stranger Things.” “So, does this make every Super Bowl ad a Tide ad?” he asks. And by halfway through the game, he had us believing it.
With every shot of a car driving along a mountainside road, or a cowboy in the sunset, we kept thinking: Will this turn out to be another Tide ad? For a half-second, we cheered the return of Old Spice — until we realized it was a Tide ad. A third-quarter spot with a Clydesdale in a field turned out to be a Tide ad. A geriatric tennis player who we thought would be shilling arthritis medication was in a Tide ad (those bright tennis whites should have been a giveaway). That weirdly sexual uncanny valley Mr. Clean commercial — one of the worst ads of last year’s game? A Tide ad. Even the voice-overs that brought people back into the game after breaks kept the joke going. “Brought to you by Tide. And Tide. And Tide. And Tide.”

Contextual Studies: Designing the Anthropocene
Instead of our regular lecturer, we had Fred Hubble, a graphic designer who’s practice’s work on the theme of nature, actually came in to talk about the Anthropocene and how it was designed.
This is about how we are living in our current climate and what effects do we have as humans on the planet.
Currently we are specified to be living in what’s called “the Holocene” and it’s the time after the ice age and it’s been going on for 11,500 years. However, a lot of people think we are entering a new epoch.
We are calling it the “Anthropocene” which was coined in the 1980s, meaning that humans are affecting the earth manually at a drastic rate.
People are suggesting it’s been because of the atomic bomb, industries and environmental destruction. Regardless, we are entering the age of the human.
Biologist EO Wilson suggests we’re living in the age of the ‘Eromacene’ because it’s the age of loneliness. This is supported by Covid 19 as it’s difficult to spend time and meet one another, even with video calls.
There’s also the suggestion of the Cthulucene, where it’s all about our relationship with animals and how we all mix.
There’s also this talk of Gaia, which how it’s been mutated by Gaia and how humans have mutated it over the years.
There was a painting made called ‘Hunters in the snow’ and it was made in 1565, depicting political issues. In this painting, humans are coming back with a fox on their back and the all the snow and mountains that don’t actually exist in the Netherlands. represents the fact it’s all about human and nature interactions. But it also represents a change in our climates and dealing with them.
They even parodied this piece to represent to represent how Trump is one of the hunters.
Blue Planet 2 also represents how we are slowly seeping into the Anthropocene.
One of the most depressing images to represent climate change and plastic in the ocean, was a seahorse holding onto a cotton swab.
There are fashion industries that are attempting to create clothing using bionic yarn, which is made from recycled plastic. Adidas is attempting new shoes in this style as well. The Mavericks create bags that are recycled materials but are stronger.
There’s worn wear to fix their clothes and go over there to fix them, to imply that you shouldn’t waste clothes but instead fix them and stop wasting materials.
Fiona Benner and Green Piece made granite stone full stops, to stop fishers and crawlers from killing off and damaging marine life.
In the Syrian civil war, there have been refugees; they created shelters from plastic that can be moved and are insulated for those who need temporary refuge.
In another country, there had been structures made from not only wood but recyclable plastics, reducing the usage of more materials, reusing older stuff and recycling anything else again. But not just for practical use but also art.
There’s the concept of tending to a plant, where you’re interacting and looking after something from nature and not focusing on our screens.
Humans are very sociable animals. We need to create interactions and spend time with one another for out own mental health and being with someone helps that.
There are other ways people becomes interactive with nature or being sociable digitally, that being either with Pokemon go to be outside and catch mons, Tamagotchi where you’d look after your own pets or learning to manage a farm via Farmville.
Design
When we were asked about “would you work for sustainable clients only?”, this was a very mixed answered question
Some people said “yes” some said “I don’t think I could” (within the context of I won’t work for damaging clients but I need some sort of work to live) and others expressed they will consider how sustainable they are, but they need to eat and live, plus the industry’s hard to get into, so they need to get into as much as they can to survive, so they’ll keep morals and not work for horrible industries that are destructive but you need something.
As to what kind of approach one can take, there’s recycling materials, marketing campaigns, animations and posters.
Virginie Kypriotis creates a music video called “Like Lightning” where climate change is obvious and real, but it’s being ignored or only slightly acknowledged. Until one bigfoot monster comes out of his cage to replicate a scene from Forest Gump, running along for the same of it, wearing a hat about making the environment better and people who get hit by lightning join him, representing how he’s changing the world and how you need a better leader; people start getting inspired and help the environment.
What Virginie said about this whole situation was ‘What makes us angry is that now more than ever believing in climate change defines people’s political identity, rather than something you just should just know and believe. This stupidness in the world was the main inspiration for the project. So rather than a message that is 100% sad we wanted it to be like a funny mirror on the world as we see it.’
It’s said that designers can influence minds and change them.
There’s symbols such as ‘Extinction’ which is used against climate change, for graphics pieces.
You have Ryan McGill who created many different recycling symbols.
‘It’s Freezing in LA’ is a quote said by Donald Trump, that was used as a brand name and weaponised to fight climate change.
Moby Digg made the US flag but it was slightly melting throughout the years, as an example of climate change (also it resembled a graph). But this style has been done for many other flags too.
WWF just* & Leo Burnett Agency created cool packaging where it uses the empty space filled by oranges, lemons or spices, to fill the shape of sprays, washing powder or bleach, instead of having those actual products; you have a more sustainable instead of wasteful or harmful solution.
Brands that don’t do this well are Coco cola, because they made labels made from recycled plastic (supposedly), but they’re biggest waster of plastic; the packaging looks too good and refined, instead of having that sort of roughness to it’s look and feel.
Some companies are blamed to fall under “greenwashing” where it appears that companies only use sustainability as a form of branding to get more people to go to them. It’s also considered wrong because they’re not legitimately caring and they may just do it for a little while then dump it later.
However, back on to good forms of sustainability, there were bars of soap made called “soap bottle” and instead of buying plastic soap bottles to wash yourself, just use a bar. However it is a soap bottle and dispenses soap, but it can be used for both the body and hair.
Conclusion?
What I learned from this, was that we are altering the way our lives are. We have made too many changes and adjustments to start “reverting back” but instead we can learn to adapt and evolve with what we have.

Part Two of what makes you American. Louisiana Hot Sauce would be considered one of those things that make you American because the culture in Louisiana is so rich and exciting; it makes Black people proud of being in America. The company that started in 1928 it made so many POC who lived in America at the time excited with the spice it brought. Next, Spaghetti that was created from the Italians could afford would be considered America because many American restaurants serve the food. Then we have white people. White people are apart of America, even if America was never “founded.” I feel l American culture is white, so not to include it would be an error. However, Campbell soup was that was founded in 1869. The designer of the can, Andy Warhol, loved the American Dream vision. He enjoyed things like Coco-Cola, money, and movie stars. This relates to America because that’s what people still love if you live in the south.
