Anyways, my favorite character is (Origins) Primis Richtofen (MY SHAYLAAAA ✨)

Um…how to go off about this…so like, when my partner first moved in with me, they used to play BO2 like ALL THE TIME. I would fall asleep and they would be playing, then I’d wake up to Red vs Blue playing on loop. Anyways, the only map I would ever join in on is The Giant because it’s simple and I’m very bad at FPS. Once they caught my attention with silly dialogue, it was all over. I started FIENDING to play as Richtofen just to hear him lose it. That was almost a full decade ago now (Jesus FUCK)

But now I’m a grown man and have adult brain so I can ask some REAL questions. Like which Richtofen did they put into that big fucked up blood draining machine? Who is this other asshole Primis Richtofen that suddenly showed up in the Templar fit? And whyyyyyy would they kill him like that??

My theory (not much of a theory, more in depth observation) is that the Richtofen in the blood machine is meant to be Origins Primis SPECIFICALLY. Why else would they reiterate the lines like “I walk a path no others can take.”? I tried to find the exact lines I’m talking about, but I can’t seem to find them in full right now, so I’ll explain without direct quotes.

He says this same line at the beginning of The Giant, and I believe this Richtofen specifically believes *HE* will be the one to stop all of this and fix everything. I believe the Origins Richtofen (the name I’ve been calling this specific version, to differentiate him from all other Primis Richtofens, and we shall refer to the other guy as Templar Richtofen) has some kind of “main character” complex going, since *HE’S* the one who lobotomized Maxis, *HE’S* the one who got the staffs, *HE’S* the one who found the Easter eggs in The Giant, so *HE* will be the one to break this cycle. So when this OTHER Templar guy shows up and puts him in the big blood draining machine and leaves him to die while *HE* goes and finishes what Origins “started”, he has a crisis about it and begins begging and pleading that he *IS* important and he *SHOULD* be saved. But honestly, I don’t think any of that mattered to him in that moment anymore, I think he just didn’t want to die (reasonable).

Uhhh idk if this is what you were asking me for, but that’s what I’ve been thinking about lately when it comes to my sweet baby boy (a 40 yo crazy man who does bad things, of course). Also, I could be WAY off base OR just be saying stuff that was *VERY OBVIOUSLY THE POINT*. I am not the most familiar with COD OR Zombies, mostly just The Giant.

At the end of the day, Origins Richtofen is my favorite and I think he deserved so much better than bleeding to death in the scary IV machine. MY SHAYLAAAAAAAAA ✨✨✨✨

And obviously my favorite thing is watching my problematic favs slowly and unwillingly lose their mind after being tortured beyond repair through years and years of violent and unrelenting trauma that they have to deal with in a “controlled” way because they’re the leader and must take on that responsibili- ooooooohhhhhhh would you look at that I DO have a problem

Context for the last image: my fiance was the one who introduced me to zombies. When he found out I got a crush on Richthofen, he started to wear the Terminator face paint on BO4 and make comments like that when he'd get richtofen on the aether maps 🤣

5) What maps do you think get slept on too much/not talked about enough?

Voyage of Despair, IX and Ancient Evil, anything to do with the Chaos crew really (Scarlet, Diego, Shaw and Bruno). I rarely ever see anyone talk about Chaos or make fan art or anything and I find that really sad! I will admit that yes, these maps did have their issues, especially Voyage but they were honestly a breath of fresh air for Bo4 than the reused maps we got for Aether. I like to think that it was a new story finding its footing and the reason why Chaos in general gets slept on it because of how quickly they were disregarded. Honestly I found their maps so fun to play! And the locations were interesting, like the Titanic, or a Gladiator Arena or a secret underground city in Greece. I think it really could have been something great if it was worked on further after Black Ops 4 and it's sad how much it gets slept on.

6) Favourite CoD Zombies quartet/squad in general and why?

This is probably most people's answer but Primis. Their dynamic is just so fun to watch and with each and every map, with every EE cutscene, watching them as they go to such dire lengths to stop the apocalypse and just seeing the respect grow between them as the story goes on just makes them an unbeatable squad tbh. I just love them sm, they're so silly.

7) Least favourite CoD Zombies quartet/squad in general and why?

This is a hard one because I adore all the squads but I'd have to say Victis. That's not to say that I absolutely despise and hate them because I don't, I actually really love seeing the quarrels between Marlton, Misty, Samuel and Russman! It's just out of all the other crews they're my least favourite as of right now as I haven't had a chance to play more Victis maps (only Tranzit and Tag Der Toten so far), but hopefully this'll change soon!

Never really was into ocs but I thought about a funny gag character concept where in every map primis just runs into this one guy. they die at the end of each map and stay dead but their different dimensional fracture variant shows up next map and primis is like "YOU'RE DEAD I SAW YOU DIE" every time. They also show up in Revelations because I think that would be excruciatingly hilarious. it's inexplicable how they arrived there and they die so it doesn't even matter.

they are completely irrelevant to the overarching plot but I imagine their gameplay component is punching a character so hard they throw up a perk (opening up a perk slot since there's only 4). Anyway their name is Valentine. don't expect to see them ever again.

Ultimis, easily. I joined the fandom very late after the Aether story concluded. Despite being late to the party, I love the gritty atmosphere of their maps, the lore was to me the most engaging to understand, and I replay their stuff most of the time. I know people tend to say they can be somewhat one-dimensional due to their cliche traits, but I think Ultimis is both charismatically funny and have their own layers of depth if you look a little more.

I am still pissed off that we will never get to see them again. The Christmas album isn't enough. I will pay either Treyarch or your best set of VAs to record a zombies audio story right now

7) Least favorite CODZ quartet/squad in general, and why

Chaos. I feel bad, they were given a lot of love from Treyarch by Black Ops 4 and they are being referenced again in importance for the new story line. I just can't seem to click with their maps.

As a side note, I'm not liking how the Dark Aether story is so far with "operators" and I do hope they'll bring back crews by the next game. But I also would prefer they switch up from the dry, seriousness of Cold War. However! I think the slowness was to help build up the story for whatever's next to come. I still think Klaus is funny and there are hints of the humor in there somewhere, and Forsaken map was where I finally got more actively interested in what's next.

I think we both know the answer to this question.

And you're so real for your pfp by the way! I look up to him and his fighting spirit, just being able to take action with no hesitation. And yes, he's still got my heart. I love him too much. IronPetals forever

I'm also finally warming up to his Primis self. He's still very charismatic and him being more likely to show his soft spot than Ultimis Tank made me too flustered. If any character inspires me to keep fighting the good fight, it will always be him. OORAH!

13) Favorite friendships/BroTPs?

I have several, believe it or not!

One goes to Dempsey and Takeo, especially with how in depth it gets in the Primis timeline. Even with whatever Richtofen was trying to put them through and all the toiling about through war, they could at least confide in each other the most. I also love how Takeo's basically got an American cheerleader on his side!

Russman and Stuhlinger! I see a lot of bickering about between the Victis crew, but the quotes that show their allyship do warm my heart. I'd also argue Russman and Misty for the comics because he acts like a father figure! Why can't we get more of that in the maps?! Especially since i hold on the hope we'll see Victis leave the Dark Aether soon

Last one goes to Dempsey and Peter. He really cared about his best friend, even with Peter forgiving him for "Phoebe". I almost wonder what those two have been through together. I headcanon they were friends since childhood and decided to enlist together.

What game introduced you to Call Of Duty Zombies? (non-Treyarch games included) Do you remember the first ever map you played?

This is my fave question ever bc I love telling people how I fucking hated CoD at first.

I know for a fact I played/watched Nacht Der Untoten on WaW around when it first came out but I was, funny enough, terrified of zombies so I couldn't get into it at all.

Then early into Black Ops 1 being released I was so deeply invested into Left 4 Dead that I despised CoD bc people were going to Zombies instead of L4D lmao. My stepbrother was really into it and was like "PLEASE JUST PLAY A FEW MATCHES OF KINO WITH ME" and I begrudgingly did. Almost immediately I was like "Oh..... oh yeah this is.......... I enjoy this." And then I never stopped playing, 13ish years later BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEEE

5. What maps do you think are getting slept on too much/not talked about enough?

Verruckt and OG Der Riese. Maybe it's bc I'm an old man but they're so fun. People hate on Verruckt a lot bc the hallways are narrow and hard to navigate but that's why it's fun imo

THIS IS SO HARD BC I LOVE PRIMIS AND ULTIMIS EQUALLY SM. But I'll have to go with Ultimis because they're the OGs both literally for the games and for myself. Also they're so dumb and goofy, gotta love em

Dempsey. 100 years Tank Dempsey forever. I am holding him in my teeth and shaking him violently like a dog.

He's stupid and funny as both Primis and Ultimis and I based a lot of my personality growing up on how he acts to get me thru a lot of stuff lol He's also hot but that's besides the point

I think he's gotten more love as Primis developed but definitely Ultimis Takeo. He was the punching bag of the squad for a long time.

Also Samantha, she's such a tragic character lol (This is also speaking on WaW to Blops4 bc I haven't played any Dark Aether stuff)
