Here’s the next topic and projections.. you don’t have to read the projections.

Heavy content warning for forms of $H. The list consists of mentions of cvtting, abusing substances like alcohol, pills, nicotine, and marijuana, and many other things.

As a kid, I always wanted to be a little better than my family. My family and family friends usually drink heavily, smoke/vape constantly, and have many other addictions that I don’t really feel like listing off. I’m letting little me down, and I honestly don’t know how to feel about it.

I started developing these kinds of thoughts around 5th grade, again I am about to be a senior so it has been years. I don’t want to get into much detail as that is a different topic for another day and because this is mostly focusing on self-destructive behavior.

It’s gotten worse as years passed, and right now it has been the worst. I usually bite the skin off my thumbs for relief, it’s gotten so bad that my thumbs are constantly red and when healed it’s discolored from my actual skin tone. My friends point it out, my family points it out, but for the life of me I cannot stop it. It’s second nature. I have often thought about going another step, but I have never done so .. however I have came close to it, pretty damn close (as an artist I use pencils, especially wooden ones). Usually I press sharp things against myself just for an imprint to form and I stop. However that need is still there, and it gets stronger every day. One reason is for the need for feeling, and another is to display my struggle in a physical form because I just don’t feel like my struggle is enough.

I believe I am starting to spiral a lot more into using substances just so I don’t have external marks on myself, they can be internal. I’ve smoked and vaped before so it’s not new to me. Just recently I have been told that if I want to experiment I can, which I have taken as a go ahead to indulge in all the things I want, no.. the things I need. I need this so I don’t do worse. The alcohol in my house is alluring, and I’m going to take full advantage of it, I’m going to start smoking/vaping again whether it be marijuana related or not, I’m going to continue taking pills I do not need just so I can feel something. I need to feel something for once that isn’t just constant sadness.

I need this, I don’t know how else to put it.

So how can I relate this back onto my projections? Well again many of my OCs have all of these issues for different reasons. We’re mostly focusing on CODZ as that is what I am crazily fixated on it. My main projector is Richtofen, both of them. In my headcanon Edward struggles with extreme $H (similar to what I want to do to myself) and substance abuse. Primis will usually chainsmoke, use marijuana excessively, and pop pills. Ultimis will also chainsmoke, use marijuana, and pop pills, but he will also use llello (I like using this term for the substance I am talking about.. in an English manner it is spelled as yeyo), drink, and much more. Ultimis will often show his $H, fresh or not, as a way to show his suffering. Another projector can be Nikolai, Ult or Prim, as he does drink alcohol excessively canonically (Ult). Primis Nikolai is recovering, not drinking as excessively as his older counterparts, so I don’t project the alcohol abuse onto him. I don’t really use Nikolai for this though as I mostly project it onto Edward. I use this projection to STOP myself from actually doing these things, specifically the cvtting

💫 I don’t know about headcanons but, I can say with certainty that, THAT is pure torture. Richtofen has lines on The Giant that imply that he remembers what happens each time he goes through a cycle. ✨

💫 As he moves through each cycle, he ends up feeling more and more tired at the end, and knowing his daughter has been carried so far just to be a martyr in the Great War would add to that tiredness in ways I can’t even begin to describe! ✨

✨It’s even more heartbreaking knowing that when the cycle ends on Blood of The Dead, his daughter has to watch him die and then move on without him. 💔✨

YuLan: Upon seeing Leta, P.YuLan enjoys her company. She especially enjoys her jokes, laughing for once whenever she's here. As for Ria, U.YuLan is afraid of her, but not scared to try and comfort her. She likes Ria for being caring underneath that surface of roughness.

Viktoriya: P.Vik likes Leta's sarcastic personality, always making sure she isn't wounded during battles, sometimes apologising for Nikolai's actions. While U.Vik has to make sure Ria doesn't get hurt, kinda like a little sister, which she also does it to U.Dempsey.

James: P.James loves Leta's personality since it's like his. He finds her amusing to speak with in Spanish, mostly cause the others don't understand what their saying. U.James first feared Ria of her intimidating looks but slowly saw her caring side, and he also felt safe with her.

@shinmiyovvi I FINALLY GOT THIS DONE! I hope you enjoy this and I had a lot of fun working on this!

Valena: Both Leta and Ria see the Val’s as their older sister ofc! The girls would honestly wish they had a sister like Val growing up, they just wanted to have a sister to rely on and have fun with but their relationship with Mercy was strained even if they tried to repair it when they got older. Ria knows that Licia has a good heart and she always tries her best to make her proud. Now we both know that Ria and Licia can be pretty cold and harsh and as you said in the ask i sent, Ria does get a little hurt when Licia accidently hurts her feelings but she knows that her big sis doesn’t really mean it.

As for Lena and Leta, god these two just make me feel so soft dude. Leta tries to act her usual cold and sarcastic self but she really does appreciate the care Lena shows for her, I can see her being pretty attached to Lena. The genuine care and love that she has for Leta just makes said girl feel seen and appreciated and she’s really glad to have Lena as an older sister. Lena may be protective of her lil sis but Leta is just as protective of her big sis as well.

Ji Eun: Eunji pretty much brings out both Ria and Leta’s soft and caring side. Ria knows that she has a short temper and can be pretty cold and she would feel really bad if she knew that Eunji felt scared around her (Poor girl doesn’t want to be like her asshole of a father) so she would try to calm herself down around her and to comfort her. I honestly think it would be really sweet to see these two trying to comfort each other, like they’re each other's emotional support. Ria is doing her best.

Now for Leta and Ji Eun, oh boy. Leta firstly would not appreciate the name calling much less the latter being mean to her. Leta doesnt even understand the language but she fucking knows she’s being called names. As I’ve mentioned before, Leta is more of a slow boil rather than the instant anger like Ria, so she tries her best to not let Ji Eun’s words bother her and to be civil. But deep down it does bother her when she’s doing her best to do whatever she’s working on and Ji Eun doesn’t ever seem to be satisfied. Leta prides herself in her work, be it as a nurse or even her skill as a markswoman. I really do hope that these two can get along more but as of now, I think these two would be at odds or at the very least tolerate each other.

Arthur: Ria and Leta would actually get along with the Arthur’s! Ria and Arty having a father/daughter relationship supremacy!! I also remember you saying that the Arthur’s were good listeners so I can see Ria feeling comfortable enough to vent to Arty about her frustrations. I also imagine Ria mentioning to Arty how she wished he was her father and how her actual father was an asshole. Both of the beans  just being protective of each other. And yes, Ria would wear the bracelets that Arty made for her and no she’s not taking it off for anyone lmao.

Meanwhile, with Leta and Archie, I’m not sure if the father/daughter would translate over to them but I see them being pretty good friends nonetheless! Archie is just teasing Leta and she’s being witty and sarcastic in response. She just gives him that look and sometimes can’t help but find herself laughing at his antics. If he does however get her pissed, you best know she’ll be chasing after him and yelling at him in Spanish but it’s all in good fun I swear. Imagine Archie bringing Leta a flower bouquet/crown and she just gets all flustered.

Dragomir: Like the Val’s, Ria and Leta see the pretty boys as their big brothers. Ria is pleasantly surprised when she finds out how sweet and kind he can be despite his scary appearance. I think he would be another person that Ria would be comfortable enough to vent to him about her troubles.  Imagine they just talk shit together lol.

Miro and Leta are gonna make me feel soft like her and Lena huh? Miro reminds Leta a lot of her brother, Red, and it makes her both happy and sad. She would probably feel a little guilty at first cuz she doesn’t want to make it seem like she’s replacing her sweet brother but she realizes that she’s not replacing him and that Red would like her to be happy. So she would really look up to Miro like another older brother. These two probably tease each other so much lmao and it’s mostly about who’s prettier. Miro would likely bring out Leta’s softness and caring nature similar to her and Lena! (I would also add that it kinda mirrors how Eunji brings out Ria’s caring heart in the ultimis timeline)

It was so long ago now that I don’t even remember what started it, but I think part of it was realizing that I just felt so bad for him! He’s such an unappreciated, underutilized character, and I think a big part of me just wanted to show love to him. I also saw a little tidbit of an interview that Charles Martinet did, where he said that while one of the cornerstones of Wario’s personality was jealousy, Waluigi’s was self-pity, and that just made me feel even worse for him. I wanted to show that Waluigi was worthy of just as much love as the rest of the main cast, and I think I just fell deeper from there!

(also fun fact- I haven’t worked on it in ages, but I actually started a fic with Waluigi and my own Princess OC character)

eyes heavy. bloodshot. this man has his hand at my side and i’m tired of it. i flash a smile at the bodyguard at the door but his eyes are glazed over just like everyone else’s at this point. my fingertips graze satin sleeves as i stand up and leave the room. 

it’s heavy.

the madame nods her head as she makes her rounds, eyes scanning my nightgown as if she’s taking count. maybe taking pity. all i hear is the click of my heels against the linoleum as i make my way through the small doorway and into the main lobby. a dark room. dim-lit. bodies pressed together even here.

the man at the door isn’t like everyone else. he doesn’t have the same energy as the others that stink up this building. even in the dark his eyes are focused and predatory, but not in a way that i normally see. he watches another man across the room and i question his motives as i skirt around one of my sisters guiding a woman behind a red curtain.

he notices that i’m watching him, and he sweeps across the room in a few steps, taking my elbow in his hand and pushing me back the way i came. eager. or about to be in trouble.

whatever. he doesn’t fit my type. but if he holds me any tighter i might make a scene.

close to him, i can smell the cigar he probably snuffed out on the cobblestone outside and expensive cologne. and even though he is leading me back into the walkway his grip loosens, though still in control. his head doesn’t even turn to look into the cracks of curtains and screens. he could have an eyeful and yet he’s only got one thing on his mind.

it hits me, then, that he feels dangerous. he has the energy of a killer.

i should know. after all, i am one, too.

but again, he’s not my type.

he says something to me and i simply nod and try to figure out where he plans on going. who is he after? the fbi director, maybe. 

i look up to him, a full foot taller than me i notice, and i catch his profile as he passes by the lamps next to the doors. his hair is slicked back. dark circles around his eyes. straight nose, high cheekbones. maybe his early forties. if i hadn’t already been too invested i would have passed him off as another face in the dark. 

he isn’t. and i can tell.

and he knows this place too well.

luca’s got a bad habit of falling for the wrong people and being taken advantage of. blinded by the need to be wanted, appreciated. anything to keep the spotlight.

the short answer is yes. mainly before the whole dimension-hopping thing. and normally it would be a “oh that happened, huh? damn that sucks guess i better be passive-aggressive to these people so that they can’t tell how hurt i am and so i can keep my job”.

it happens a while after joining the primis crew, too. and instead of letting him slip through their fingers, luca tried so hard to keep a hold on him. they refused to let him go because he was a constant in their life now. he was the reason they were there. why they were safe. he taught them things. and the longer that they kept trying to hold on to him, the more they realized something was….off.

they started to think that he might have been like the others before him. maybe luca was just being blind and stupid again. that he didn’t care for them just like the director said he did. the costumer. the photographer. all hollow words and unable to give them his time like he had before.

then luca started to think it was just them being selfish. no. he….was still the same man. 

right?
