Benefits Of Pranayama
Pranayama is a Sanskrit word that means "regulation of breath."
Pranayama is a type of yoga breathing exercise that is designed to control the flow of prana, or life force, through the body. By practicing pranayama, you can increase your energy level, improve your mental clarity, and focus, and achieve a greater sense of inner peace and well-being. Pranayama is a form of yoga that focuses on controlling the breath.

Its so important to me that Kon is just as much of a brickhouse as Clark, w the only difference being that hes way more graceful about it. Theyre both tall as fuck and dense as hell but Clark is naturally clumsy- Kon is a nimble little fairy running circles around him LOL Clark has learned to be extremely careful and delicate (and reserved) bc he needs to protect people from his powers, Kon is extremely careful and delicate bc his powers Depend on that level of skill. Similar output (unparalleled spatial awareness), differing reasons

masks in hollow knight are SUCH a concept why don't we talk about it more. the mask maker's dialogue implies that while a mask and a face are different things they can often to hard to tell apart, and that having a 'face' is something with which not all are blessed. a mask is powerful, and linked to identity and existence - so much so that concealing/changing face with a mask can destroy your 'original' self (unless you're strong willed, like quirrel). it also leaves so much room for interpretation the way his dialogue is undecided: 'A mask! A face! Does it need one? Does it not? To define. To focus. To exist.'. so is a mask a face? are faces masks? do you need it or not? so much stuff to think about...

i've been inconsistent on tumblr regarding posting content. last time i posted was before 18th june for the exam. then i ghosted tumblr. well, i started to do extensive skin care and self care, and started to invest more time in my career and earning money through private tuitions, hence rarely got time to post anything. the exam went extremely well and then it got cancelled because i live in 'that' country where everything has been associated with multiple scamming projects for the corporates. the re-examination is on august and idc, i'd give the exam out of spite and get the fuck out of this country.
here's however, a glimpse of my work on a book review. this is where i work, on bed, with huge back pain and posture defect, with minimal food and bad lighting and endless distractions [from books around, also i'm neurodivergent] i've been immersed in coffee, red tea and cigarettes for the past 3 days and still 200 pages back. today is the deadline! and i'll be finishing off this fucking work like my life depends on it [it does, i'm getting paid]. back to work. Xby.

Bit of a rant about your Jazz’s optics idea (that I’m stealing)
I have a lazy eye that gets stressed after wearing my glasses too long; could Jazz’s eyes also get stressed after working for too long so he takes off his visor for a while to let his optics rest? If so, how does he deal with it + other’s reactions?
honestly his optics probably DO get stressed after wearing his visor for long periods of time, and. well. i think he used to take his visor off for small periods of time to rest his optics, only ever alone though. he always hides in his quarters when he has to take it off, but i think as the war goes on and on, he gets more... paranoid when he takes it off. it sends him into a bit of a panic. he needs to be able to SEE what's going on around him at all times, especially if he's looking out for someone else, which is basically all the time. essentially, i think he keeps it on basically 24/7 for the most part, he just deals with the pain and stress on his optics.
as for people's reactions? well, hardly anyone KNOWS he can't see. not even ratchet knows, (well, he's got an idea of why jazz doesn't let him examine his optics but any time he tries to push about it jazz crawls out of medical through a vent or something so he's kinda just stopped trying honestly). something something jazz trying to hide information that could possibly be used against him by enemies and also he's honestly a little self conscious about it.
jazz doesn't willingly show anyone his optics without the visor on, other than wheeljack and op, and even then he's... lets say "cagey" about that as well. if his visor breaks or something, he'll pretend he can see just fine and shove the panic down until he can get somewhere private to freak out properly. he's also REALLY good at deflecting questions about his optics.
i do think after the war he’s able to overcome the panic he feels when his visor is off, though, and he gets comfortable enough to be without it more often so he stresses his optics less :)

I'm fascinated by the logistics and economy of squid game in-universe. someone had to construct the building. someone had to design all of the backdrops for the games (quite lovingly I might add). There are people tasked with cooking, administrative jobs, the camera operators etc. Who produced the clothes? Who programmed their software? Was there ever a player who unknowingly produced the bricks keeping the building together? or harvested the food they eat?

FINALLY!! At long last, I've gotten my hands on a Pumpkin Kitty, after a whole year of wanting and waiting.
Her name is Latte! (Short for Miss Pumpkin Spice Latte) You can also call her Miss Spice!
#I spent 10 minutes picking her out omfg#not even exaggerating. I was deciding between this one and one of the last 3 unstuffed PKs#altogether there was only 5 of them left in the store including the 2 stuffed displays#the other one I was looking at had a nearly perfect pumpkin eye patch but less pumpkins overall#and their face wasn't as nice plus the ears were a bit wonky for my taste.#tho it was really hard to tell which would be better while they were unstuffed and flat#in the end I chose Latte because right away she looked to have a sweet face. her ears were nice and she had better patch placement#including a couple full patches on her tail#tbh if I'd had the money I might have bought both because the decision was hard#the bear builder actually asked if I was alright while I concentrated on studying each of those damn cats#I apologized and explained wtf was up with me. she was very understanding#I've always had this quirk where sometimes it'll take forever for me to pick between plushies I really want#especially if they're both the same exact plush. because then I gitta focus harder on finding out which has the better personality#you get what I mean?#anyways this has been a thing for me even as a real little kid#I remember spending and hour-hour and a half almost every time when my dad took me to choose my monthly webkinz#“my monthly webkinz” god that makes me sound so privileged. it was the nicest/best thing my dad could afford to get me because we were poor#he wanted to spoil me as all good fathers do but that was the most he could afford and I was always so grateful and still am! but I digress#anyways I took way too long to pick which kitty would become my Latte#but I'm glad I had the opportunity to choose yet alone to actually see pumpkin kitty irl available for purchase#what do you guys think of her?#stuffed animals#plushies#plushblr#build a bear#BAB#pumpkin kitty#viti's plushie#plushie: latte

“Shit,” Lu Ze swore. History monks were not, generally, given to vulgarity. But, given the circumstances, it was more or less the only appropriate response.
Lu Ze swore again, more creatively this time, as the distortions around them became increasingly unsettiling.
“What happens now,” Vimes rasped, still cradling the corpse in his arms.
It is a strange thing to mourn yourself.
But he was just so small.
Carcer giggled helplessly in his restraints. “Should be interesting, huh.”
“Oh, be quiet, you vile man. Do you have any idea how much trouble you’ve caused?” Another monk snapped.
“Nope,” Carcer said, with an obnoxious popping of his lips. “But I’ve got a few guesses.”
“THIS IS ALL WRONG,” Death said.
“Yes, we know,” Lu Ze sighed, rubbing his brow. Reality splintered further, the surrounding troops, which before appeared distorted as if by mist, now simply appeared distorted. Vimes’ stomach twisted in empathy and revulsion.
“I LOATHE TIME TRAVEL” Death said, approaching the Sam Vimeses. The older, living one scowled defiantly, pulling the small corpse away.
“There’s no time for that,” Lu Ze said sadly.
“HE IS DONE,” Death agreed. “REALITY CAN ONLY TAKE SO MUCH.”
He turned empty eye sockets towards the monks, as if to glare judgmentally. “PARTICULARLY WHEN IT HAS ALREADY BEEN TWISTED UP LIKE THIS,”
Vimes shuddered as the reaper swung his scythe, passing through his younger self without slowing down. A terrible chill fell down his spine, but the vague unsettling form to the world around them settled into a more familiar pattern. Cracks still ran through the length and breath of the sky, ground, and people.
“FIX THIS,” Death commanded the monks. “BEFORE THE AUDITORS GET INVOLVED.”
“Right,” Lu Ze steeled himself.
He took a slow, oversteady breath. “Alright people, get ready—we’re —we’re going to make another trouser leg.”
"Now?? Here?"
“We’re not prepared.”
“ARE YOU MAD?”
“What about—”
“It’s too big a change—”
“Just do it!” he snapped. “Unless anyone has any better ideas!”
A moment of crystalized hesitation, then the monks got to work, spinning glittering devices and furrowing their brow in concentration.
“I’m sorry,” VImes whispered, shame-faced, “I tried—”
“It’s not your fault. And it doesn’t matter anymore,” Lu Ze said brusquely. “Now hold still— this is going to hurt. A lot.” He reached a hand forward, then paused.
“Sorry about this,” he whispered. “But sometimes we are called to live through things we would rather not. And sometimes... we are called again." He tapped the center of the blood soaked Commander’s forehand.
“Wha—AAARRGH

Some things about the house that occurred to me whilst building this, under a read more to restrain my ramblings.
General background first;
This is the end of a row of pretty classic English Victorian terrace houses, these are the sort of buildings I've lived in most of my adult life in the UK, and if you ever take the Thameslink south of the river in London you'll see tons of houses like this; especially with the modern extension with skylights and large sliding doors on the back.
They film Alex's neighbourhood in Bermondsey, which is not quite as affluent an area as Chelsea, (because, honestly, would be wild if Alex actually lived in Chelsea) but is still definitely quite wealthy, houses like this one in this neighbourhood would sell for upwards of a £1M in the current market.
Onto design choices for the build;
The downstairs is fairly open plan, and In the show we see several scenes that more or less show the whole thing, so I tried to replicate it as accurately as I could. In the lounge, it looks like there's a desk in the back corner, and since we see Ian has an office, and Alex has a desk in his room, I thought maybe this was for Jack to study, so in the build I added some case files for her to be reading. Also, I added bikes for Ian and Alex and put them under the stairs.
I found the upstairs really tricky - we only see Alex's room, and a brief look at the hallway outside his room, which seemed to lead to more rooms, and the stairs. This made me think he was at the back of the house, as most terraces taper at the back for access to the garden. Also, the window seems to line up with a window we see on the upstairs floor in an exterior shot of the kitchen. I feel especially proud of Alex's room - I think it gets the vibe of slightly messy but active high achiever - there's a certificate by his front door in Hebrew (presumably a Krav Maga thing), so I added lots of rosettes and medals and certificates. He's also got a row of hooks above his bed with like a snorkel, and climbing rope, so I used some of the snowboarding stuff to replicate that, and gave him a desk full of hobby items for boy scout spy crafting.
Jack's room was total conjecture, and also a bit of a challenge, since I don't feel I have a sense for her aesthetic taste in furniture, I tried to think what her room would be like considering she's lived there for presumably most of her early twenties, but this also being not her house/not her family/not permanent. I definitely think it would be nice, and comfortable, and personalised to a certain extent. So I gave her some kinda Ikea-ish furniture, and decorated it with small, movable clutter, and posters, pictures, and tapestries, tapped and blue tacked to the wall rather than nailed in.
Ian's bit was also a challenge, despite being the other room upstairs that we see. His office is categorically in the wrong place, the entry door should be on a different wall. Conceivably, it should be where I put Ian's en-suite, and there's a little corridor leading there, but I couldn't make that work without squishing everything together too much. So I put it in the modern bit, thinking that Ian might have built in some extra protection when doing the extension to add more security to what might be like the 'spy hub' in the house. We also see that there's another door inside Ian's study - for the level of privacy that room would need, it only really made sense to me for that door to lead to his bedroom, which also shows how he never really gets away from his work, when he sleeps right next to his study. So I gave him this kind of self-contained suite of rooms, which makes him somewhat shut off and isolated from the others. Considering how immediately Jack complies with a request for a moment of privacy when Ian is in his office, I imagine there's some pretty deeply ingrained house rules about disturbing Ian's office for 'confidential banking reasons', which makes him harder to access when he's in his bedroom. Also, Jack and Alex share a bathroom, but Ian has an en-suite. His bedroom is nice but bland, with a few souvenirs of his travels and a rack of monochrome clothing for his grey casual wear, and his bathroom is modern and dark, with some medical supplies by the sink for patching himself up after a mission.
The garden, on reflection, is a bit chaotic - I think it should actually be larger, and have a little shed. But what we see of it in Season 3 is different to season 1, it's smaller, more enclosed, and has some pretty high walls all around. I wasn't sure which way to go so left it fairly blank, with space for the wheelie bins round the side, a little patio, some grass, a drying line, and a football. The chaotic bit comes from the bbq I gave them in the corner which, looking at the photos, my Rider Sims must have managed to set on fire and burn immediately. Oh and also to make Ian Alex's uncle in CAS I had to make a John to be Ian's brother and Alex's father, so I Immediately killed him and put his headstone in a corner of the garden, so they can all be haunted by John's ghost. Neato!
