Parents forcing their kids to be trans/gay is anti-trans propaganda. If this has ever actually happened it’s probably very rare. People will use any instance of parents being supportive of their children and spin it to being about them forcing things onto their children, please don’t spread that type of propaganda around, it hurts us.
Thank you for your comment. Ending the conversationtopic here then.

Fika with friends and family
How many moments do we spend away from our phones and with the people we care about? What good would it do our hearts to have a little tea party? Fika is a Swedish word for the ritual of removing yourself from the day-to-day stresses and bringing awareness to the present moment by relishing a hot drink and yummy snacks. You can practice this small ritual easily, by brewing some of your favorite coffee or tea, and baking some tasty snacks like cookies, muffins, or cake (or something healthier, too). Fika is best spent with a friend, and is often used to catch up with old friends. When preparing, try to make the space as comforting as possible by using all five senses. Play chill, relaxing music softly in the background, light a scented candle and use your favorite plates and mugs. Create a rule between yourself and your guests to devote your undivided attention to each other (outside of emergencies). This could be hard for some to not check your phone and think of things to talk about to share a deep interpersonal moment. To take your Fika to the next step, try our Break the Ice jar, loaded with conversations to make your Fika one to remember. https://bit.ly/3kdndMy #FIKAideas #teaparty #realconnections #catchupovercoffee #coffeechatprompts #teatalks #conversationtopics #conversationprompts #conversationsuggestions #interestingconversations #coffeechat #caffeinatedconversation #conversationandcocktails #teatalks #chattertime #conversations

Talk About It With Your Kids
It is often very difficult to really talk to our children about what’s going on in their lives, or to even know what to talk about. Here are some discussion topics that can easily be brought up at the breakfast table, while traveling in the car, at school during Morning Meeting, at dinnertime, or just before bed.
AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR, you make many new friends. Some friends are similar to you, and some friends are very different. Why is it important to have friends both similar to and different from you?
THE GOLDEN RULE SAYS, Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself.” What are some ways to practice the Golden Rule?
EACH NEW SCHOOL YEAR IS A FRESH START. What would you like to do differently this year, than you did last year?
SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO KNOW HOW TO REACT when you are being bullied, or see someone else being bullied? What are some positive ways to respond to bullying.
EVERYONE IS SPECIAL, and has a unique gift to share. What do you think is your greatest gift, and how will you share it with your peers, your school, and the world?
For more topics to chat about, visit Kelly Bear‘s ideas for building character.
