Hello! I was looking through the twst notes linked in the voice actors section, and there are videos who are "not available in your country". I suppose they're only available in Japan, in the same that Ameba streams are restricted overseas? Would it be legal (and not too much of a bother) for you to download some of those videos as mp4 and post them on your Tumblr..? I'm mostly curious about the 2024 Midorikawa/Kato recording where they discuss the 7th book (in this note https://twstnote.com/lilias-voice-actor-midorikawa-hikaru/)
Hello hello! Thank you for this question! 🦇🐉
(above is a screenshot, not an uploaded video! m(_ _)m)
Oh no! My apologies, I can never tell what things are available where.
The July, 2024 recording between Midorikawa and Kato is 1 hour and 13 minutes long, which would be a lot for Tumblr 💦 But I did receive a request for a summary, which can be found here!
Much like Twisted Radio Station the two VA are not on screen, with only their headshots and subtitles (in Japanese) appearing as they speak, but! Midorikawa and Kato's have been together on-screen for a webshow while speaking about Twst before 👀

After Midorikawa appeared on Kato's radio show in September 2023, Kato then appeared on Midorikawa's show in January 2024, which had video!
Neither show has any affiliation with Twst so many topics were discussed, but Twst did come up in conversation. Midorikawa is known to be a big fan of Twst and his show even had an entire segment on it!
There were several items placed on a tabletop and he had to guess which one belonged to Kato: a wallet, cologne, a CD, an ab roller, a mobile battery or Chrono Trigger for Super Famicon.
Midorikawa held his hand over them one and a time and said "Far Cry Cradle" in Lilia's voice, pretending to be using Lilia's unique magic--it was so great!
While Kato's radio show episode is no longer accessible Midorikawa's episode is still available on ABEMA if you would like to see it!
Kato is a very, very big fan of Midorikawa's and it is wonderful to see/hear them interact with one another ^^
I live-tweeted the show when it first aired, and here are some highlights!
Kato made roast beef for them to share and Midorikawa is explaining that he is a terrible cook, "I am just like Lilia"
Midorikawa says that his voice gets deeper over time when he has a lot of dialogue at once, so sometimes the staff will interrupt him during recordings to say, “You’ve become Crimson Muscle.”
Kato has put on a Christmas tree headband. Midorikawa put on rabbit ears but Kato vetoed it for not being Christmas enough. Midorikawa tried a Santa hat, but then vetoed it for not being cute enough. He is now wearing a headband with both rabbit ears and a Santa hat.
They explained that Midorikawa’s fans are called “leaf-chan.” They decided to give Kato a special fan name. They had the chat decide. Kato’s Midorikawa-fan-name is now Chef Leaf.
(One commenter recommended the fan name of "Roast Leaf" and one year later I am still not over it ww)

Authentic Japan in Gyakuten Saiban pt. 2
We continue the series of posts about authentic Japanese things in the world of Gyakuten Saiban. Today the focus will be on case 3-5, which takes place high in the mountains at the Hazakura temple.

mayoi-chan ni yoreba, “enza” to iurashī.
According to Mayoi-chan, it's called a "Enza."

… kitto, koko ni konakattara isshō, shiranakattadarou na.
...If I hadn't come here, I would never have known.
It would seem that Naruhodo was so active in commenting in 2-2, and here he refers to what Mayoi told him. But let's pay attention to the fact that he had never seen such pillows, so he could not know their name. (the theory of familiarity with interior items through relatives).
In fact, this is quite understandable - in Japan, enza were actively used only until the Edo period (1600-1868), and after cotton was brought to the country, they were replaced by "zabuton" pillows.

This fact can be used to measure how ancient the Ayasato clan is, compared to the Naruhodo clan, even if the tradition of using some no longer common interior items has been preserved.
___________________________________________

Straw cushions are lined up around the hibachi.

terebi no jidaigekide shika mita koto no nai kōkeida.
It's a scene I've only seen in historical dramas on TV.
He continues to call enza "straw zabuton".
Hibachi is a traditional Japanese portable stove for heating and cooking food, traditionally located in the center of the room.
___________________________________________

kyā, kawaī! Ojizōsan ga ippaida yo!
Oh, so cute! There are lots of Jizo statues!

Why not just put the office Kokeshi doll here instead?

(sō ieba, ano kokeshi wa doko kara arawareta nda?)
(Now that I think about it, where did that Kokeshi doll come from...?)

Jizo (地蔵/womb of the earth), as they are called, are made in the image of Jizo Bosatsu, guardian deity of children and travellers.
Jizo also affectionately called “O-Jizo-san” or “O-Jizo-sama”.
Jizo are properly called “Jizo Bosatsu”, originating in ancient India where in Sanskrit they are called Ksitigarbha, which means earth womb. Jizo are often dressed in red bibs and hats as in Japan it is believed that the colour red can help ward off evil.

Kokeshi (こけし, 小芥子) are simple wooden Japanese dolls with no arms or legs
Although kokeshi dolls are primarily used as children's toys, they are also symbols of hopes for a bountiful harvest, wishes for good fortune and good luck, and great appreciation for craftsmanship and culture.
Mayoi unironically suggests that they steal one of the statues to the office, to which Naruhodō simply ignores, but also ponders another detail - where did the Kakeshi doll in his office come from? It was clearly not his doing. And the person who brought this doll clearly did so with only good intentions - a wish for good luck and an expression of appreciation for craftsmanship. Any suggestions? (Wrong answers only)
___________________________________________
There are several more moments in Case 3-5 related to cultural heritage. And what's even more intriguing is that they are all related to Mei Karma (Franziska von Karma). But, unfortunately, I have a limit on the number of attached photos, so wait for the next part.

2025/01/03 Blog post by Wakana
❗This is Fan Club EXCLUSIVE content❗ ❗PERSONAL USE ONLY❗ ❗Do NOT SHARE on other sites❗ ❗Join her FAN CLUB! Check out my detailed TUTORIAL ❗
Happy New Year🌟〜Please Continue to Support me in 2025‼︎〜
Happy New Year everyone🎍😊🎍 With the new year upon us, I feel even more determined to spend as much time as possible with everyone, sharing happiness laughter😃 May this year be filled with joy, energy, and love✨
I spent the New Year with my family, here are some photos they took of me on New Year's Eve, it looks like I am having a blast😂I decided to make a collage out of the photos. This makes it look like a proper New Year's card💌 Thank you for your continued support in 2025‼ ️✨\\\\٩( 'ω' )و ////✨
We had sukiyaki on New Year's Eve🤤 My brother was in charge. Doesn't it look delicious?😍 It tasted amazing...😍 We had soba noodles while watching the Red & White Year-end Song Festival, after that we greeted the new year while watching a Silvester Concert, then we went to bed😊
The next day, on New Year's Day morning, my sister-in-law made some great New Year's dishes!! ! ! ! ! I have no words to describe how amazing all of it was...😭✨The table setting was gorgeous too...😭✨ It not only looked beautiful, everything was also really delicious, I just wanted to keep on eating😭✨ (My sister-in-law is actually a professional cook)
There were cute little bunnies in the different New Year's dishes and in the zoni! 🐰 (I helped cut the kamaboko into decorative shapes 😊 It was difficult but fun 😆) We were all able to put whatever we liked on our plate🍚 I'm not the type of person who can eat a lot all at once, so I like to take my time and eat a little at a time. So I guess this sort of New Year's arrangement works best for me 😂. It's fun to eat all kinds of things slowly, little by little, while chatting ☺️💕
In the afternoon, we were all watching "The Solitary Gourmet" on TV, and the fried horse mackerel looked really delicious...🐟 I was captivated by the crispy texture of the fried food that Goro was eating... My sister-in-law then suggested that we should just fry the leftover shrimps from the day before. This is what she made for us! 🍤 Beautiful fried shrimp!!! 🍤With tartar sauce!!! ! ! ! (The heart-shaped lemon slices are so cute♡) She even fried some maitake mushrooms and sweet potatoes together😭✨ We all ate the crispy and juicy fried foods while they were still fresh❣️ It was the best...😭💕Freshly fried is food is truly the best😭💕
I had a really fun New Year's holiday~(((o(*゚▽゚*)o))) I got to re-charge my energy🤗 I know that many of you are busy, but please make sure to take time to look after your mind and body😊
The first big thing I am looking forward to this year is getting to meet you all at the Kalafina concert!
I also have some special news to announce for my solo activities!! \\\\٩( 'ω' )و //// I'm planning to reveal it in the next episode of my podcast "Wakana's Talk Garden", so please look forward to it!!
Once again, thank you everyone for your continued support this year! ! \(^o^)/Until next time~☆( *'▽'*)/

I wanted to ask you this since your post about bishies haha because it remind me how there is not a discussion about how female characters are or look unrealistic compared to how unreal anime men in media aimed at women are or look, in fact there is not a distinction in how women are physically portrayed in media aimed at men or media aimed at women.
Do you think there is a reason for this? I mean the distinction of something ‘good and realistic’ vs bl?
I don't watch TV dramas, but an artist I follows rtd this; 「東京サラダボウル」在日外国人の人々への偏見を解くだけでなく、警察内部でのゲイカップルの存在を真摯にいていて驚く。
And I don't know if the translator is betraying me, but I think the person is praising how drama doesn’t ‘run away with BL or laughter’ and I suppose it refers to the fact that the drama is not trying to appeal to a BL ¿fanbase, aesthetic? but a realistic one.
I know that BL does not reflect gay life realistically, but it's interesting? how a praise for gay dramas (or even for BL mangas) is how separate they feel-are from the genre.
I ask mostly because this type of sentiment is not something I see people who like yuri or straight romance bring up At All.
The ‘Realistic Homosexual Relantionship’ tag on Baka Updates is 90% BL mangas, works like Hanamonogatari or She loves to cook She loves to eat doesn’t have it.
Finally this is just pure hatred but it’s really infuriating how men(and women) into bara will make fun of women for being into bishies but they themselves are solely into moe, lolis or bishoujos and have 0 interest in looking for art with female characters who look realistic.
oh we're not doing all that!
the reason for the "good wholesome realistic media VS oohh evil gooners having unrealistic fantasies" debate is that vanilla people always want to act morally superior for being vanilla. it's not deep.
we're all drooling n panting at cartoon drawings so i think everyone need to humble down a little. this also includes girlies who like yoi and kuroshit somehow thinking they're morally superior to straight male otakus btw. it goes both ways.
i personally don't care for "realistic" BL. it doesn't mean it's better or worse than the BL i personally like, it's just not for me.
tl;dr anyone who act judgemental of someone else's preferences is lame and insecure
#to be perfectly honest. as a gay man who's not into bara & with plenty of non-straight fujoshi women in my circle#i get so weary of any debate using the completely inaccurate representation of the BL fanbase as#“het women who like bishies and gay men who like gengoroh tagame. and that's IT”

Headcannons for sokeefe when they have children
AHHH OKAY OKAY
Keefe is like terrified. Like he cries sm before he first kid is born. He is so scared he's gonna be like his own parents. But once he sees that kid he just...he just knows he's gonna be there for them no matter what. And he is.
Sophie is so scared, but only one of them can be scared at a time. So during her (peaceful elvin) pregnancy, she's pretty relaxed, convincing Keefe he'll do a good job. After the kid is born, however, it's her turn to panic. Keefe comforts her.
Their kids are so sweet. Very emotionally mature. These two KNOW how to raise kids. They will NOT be going through what they had to.
Keefe takes the kids for ice cream and teaches them art (Sophie can't art it's so bad actually)
Keefe takes them to do fun stuff that's not irresponsible
They both take the kids outside a lot
They aren't too strict or relaxed. They're not strict enough to be super big on "No dating until *this* age" but also not saying that some super dangerous reckless kid is good enough for them. Their kids have good heads on their shoulders because they're advised but can make their own mistakes.
Sophie cooks. Keefe physically cannot cook.
Keefe doesn't usually get mad, just disappointed. When they're rude though he's mad.
Keefe has never yelled at them in a serious tone. Like he's loud as hell but when they're in trouble he doesn't yell. He talks to them.
They both explain things to their kids, not just say "because I said so"
He notices minor expressions about his kids and talks to them privately- he stopped yelling out feelings in front of people.
He never uses his abilities on them. Ever.
Their kids can bring someone home and he'll act all "if you ever hurt my kid-" and then laughs and is like "jk hi welcome!!" And his kids' s.o.'s are like "so you won't hurt me if I hurt your kid??" and he's like "haha no my kid will :D" and his kid smiles
They constantly go to the beach
And Havenfield
Home is very important to them. They're open.
Sophie is still really fun
She teaches her kids to make pies and play her little human games and teaches them a love of reading
They play family board games
She takes her kids to parks and just talks with them yk
When Sophie's mad she's gotten used to not really yelling because of being married to Keefe, but she's still terrifying. Death glare of all time.
Keefe and Sophie love their kids. They're sad when they go to school but at least they have each other
The Sarcasm Family(TM)
Side note not about kids- since Sophie and Keefe are both Polyglots, they banter in different languages
They teach their kids to fight
Their kids know a little bit about the war, but very little about the sad stuff. Just enough to know the basis but that they're glad they're not there.
"Go take a shower!" "no quiero!" "残念な。残りの私たちはあなたの匂いを嗅いで苦しまなければなりません。" "คุณหมายถึง" "troppu boffu" "Მიყვარხარ?" "Mhm. Love you too."
*Google translate is my friend sorry if it's wrong lmao*
