pre-zombie!bf who’d always set up a sleeping place and make it as cozy as possible just for you. it didn’t matter if it was in the middle of the forest, a store, a rundown mall—he’d always try to make you feel comfortable just like before the apocalypse.

pre-zombie!bf who scolded you every time you put yourself in harms way for him. it didn’t matter if he could defend himself or not, you were always doing it because you loved him.

pre-zombie!bf who did the same thing you did even if it was subconsciously. he was such a hypocrite and he didn’t even notice, but you did.

pre-zombie!bf who gave you a weird look when you asked him if he’d still love you if you were a zombie. then gave you another weird look when you asked him if he’d let you love him even if he were a man eating cannibalistic rotting walking corpse. he said yes (at some point…) to both.

pre-zombie!bf who sometimes went on secret runs while you were asleep in a safe spot. he wanted to scavenge for food and other necessities without you being in danger.

pre-zombie!bf who got stupidly bit on one of those secret runs like an idiot. he cried a little, he wasn’t going to lie. so he decided he wanted to at least cherish your last moments together.

pre-zombie!bf who started acting weird. getting a little more touchy, a little more loving. he began to be a little more emotional and open. you weren’t sure why, but you had a horrible gut feeling.

pre-zombie!bf who wanted one last night with you. but when he asked, you said no. it wasn’t because you didn’t want to, it was just… maybe that horrible feeling you had was a warning that something was going to happen if you were distracted.

pre-zombie!bf who got really fucking sad. but it was fine, he was still going to spend his last minute with you until he couldn’t.

pre-zombie!bf who snuck out and ran away as far as he could to not hurt you. he tied himself to a tree instead of killing himself—not wanting to use a weapon because he wanted to leave them all to you.

pre-zombie!bf who didn’t realise you noticed him leaving. you thought he wanted to take a huge shit or something, which is why you didn’t go after him until your head slammed onto the floor, realising that you fell asleep.

zombie!bf who you found biting and growling into the air as you approached. when you finally understood why he was acting strange, you immediately regretted not having one last intimate moment just like he wanted.

zombie!bf who no matter what you did, wouldn’t snap out of it. not like you had much hope anyway, but it never hurt to try, right?

zombie!bf who you didn’t have the guts to kill or leave alone tied like an animal. he launched at you as soon as you untied him, but you were able to hold him back.

zombie!bf who you couldn’t let go of. so now after a week, he had his arms chained behind his back with a pipe tied against his mouth. you used him to lure other zombies away—even in death he kept saving you.

zombie!bf who even with the complexion of a corpse and see through veins, still looked beautiful in your eyes.

zombie!bf who you remembered was almost begging for sex the last time you talked to him. and as you saw him slowly start to dehydrate from hunger, you decided to give him the last piece of love that he wanted so bad.

zombie!bf who aside from the unnatural growls, sounded as sweet as when he was human.

zombie!bf who’s metal pipe lay beside him as you put one of your fingers in his mouth, letting him bite it off for him to feed and for you to finally join him in shared demise.

zombie!bf who chewed on the given bone and flesh as he drank the blood that accompanied it.

zombie!bf who heard your pained groans and sad sniffs because you weren’t strong enough to go through more pain no matter how much you loved him. and as you fainted, his eyes began to get clearer and clearer.

zombie!bf who’s brain wasn’t so dead anymore.

fratboy!eren, who despite his bad reputation, poor attendance, and countless missing assignments, will drop everything to help you when you’re even slightly confused on the topic you’re learning. see, aside from his poor academics, eren wasn’t a bad student– just, not exactly focused right now. 

fratboy!eren, who’s friends could all tell something was up with him, only, they didn’t know what. and to their surprise, he had even less of an idea than they did. his best friend, jean, knew he’d moved on to his next girl of the month, which was nothing out of the ordinary, but little by little, he’d watched eren start acting differently. less partying, no more girls coming by the house, hell– he’d even started attending his classes.

“alright bro, what the fuck is going on with you?” jean bluntly asked him. to be honest, he’d never seen his best friend act the way he’d been acting recently, and it really did scare him. “you got a terminal illness or somethin’? are you gonna die soon, jaeger?”

“the fuck are talkin’ about?” eren spat out at him as he continued getting ready. he was getting ready to go see you, of course, and jean knew it.

“I’m talking about you. you and this girl.” jean fired back. “she pregnant or something-” jean lowers his voice for the next part of his sentence, “did she give you an std or some shit?”

“what?! gross- no!” eren shouts. he knew he’d been acting differently since meeting you, but he didn’t think that anybody else had caught onto it. he hadn’t even fully realized it until a few days ago when he found himself actually doing his homework. he didn’t know what the hell this feeling was, it made his chest feel all weird and tingly. it was a foreign feeling to him, and if it was up to him, he’d keep it that way. but he couldn’t help that anytime he saw you, he’d hear his heartbeat in his ears. anytime he made you laugh, he felt on top of the world. anytime he even saw your smile, he just couldn’t make himself look away.

“then what is it?” jean questions. 

“fuck off, its nothing.” eren states dryly.

“oh come on, its not nothing. i mean we all know you’ve moved onto some new mystery girl,” he says, emphasizing the mystery of both you and eren’s feelings. “but none of us thought anything of it. but now that i’m really thinking about it, it seems different this time. you’re different. actually doing your work ‘n shit, putting effort into your appearance, showing up to your classes now, too. i know this has gotta be someone else’s doing.”

“its nothing, alright?” eren says again, but it sounds like he’s trying to convince himself more than he’s trying to convince his best friend. eren couldn’t even look in jean’s direction, scared he’d realize that his face had started to turn a little red.

“‘nothing,’ my ass.” jean snorts. he quickly glances at the face of his best friend, who suddenly wouldn’t meet his gaze. was he… blushing? well isn’t this a sight to see.

oh. ohhhhhh. jean understood it now. he’d known eren for years. never had he once seen eren act this way. 

“you’ve got a crush.” jean states through a fit of laughter. “eren jaeger’s got a crush!” he continues, laughing his way back to his room as eren throws a shoe at him.

“GET THE FUCK OUT!” eren shouted as he threw anything in reach at jean. eren wasn’t stupid, he knew he had a thing going on with you, and he knew it was a little different, deeper, than anything he’d ever been in before, but he couldn’t quite figure out what it was. that was until jean had literally figured it out for the both of them.

fratboy!eren, who smiled to himself the entire time he walked across campus to your dorm, could finally admit that he did, indeed, have a crush on you.

these are just doodles, i'm working on writing her. she's like a devil that's your highschool sweetheart. new to public safety, a relatively humanoid and " friendly " devil. well as friendly as devils can get

• she's sweet ( it's almost sickly, like a dessert that's so sweet it's kind of disgusting and it makes you feel bad because the dessert is supposed to be good, it's supposed to taste good, right?) and clingy. it doesn't matter your gender, she's overly friendly with you. this is both a good thing and a bad thing

• constant need for approval and attention. " Am I cute today? " " How about we eat at that ramen store after work? " she acts like a stereotypical girlfriend, regardless whether you want that or not. she'll tone it down if you ask, but then she'll suffocate you again. but it's because she loves you, is it not?

• temperamental. she gets upset, angry, jealous and possessive easily. it doesn't even have to be one specific person, but multiple. can and will get violent quickly. even if you are special to her.

• " friends ", " lovers " and " family " are concepts foreign to devils. to her, they are all the same, because that is love, right?

• her love is suffocating, but she does care about the people she loves. to her, whoever created devils must have been cruel, because a loved devil is a weak devil, and a feared devil is a lonely devil. which is why you must love her. isn't that what public safety wants? weakened and controlled devils. you must love her. she looks just like your girlfriend! you must love her. can't you see she's lonely? you must love her. till death do us part is for mortals, you've been married without even looking, and suddenly there is a thread around your ring finger. do not forget your vows.
