again, here we are seeing doomguy show utmost delicacy handling a fellow living being. its almost borderline affectionate.

...just... look at how huge his hands are compared to hers! he can wrap coooompletely round her arm. but what he does instead is literally just lightly hold her with his fingertips as if she was a feather or a tiny seashell.

The more and more I play and rewatch the cutscenes I genuinely fall in love with him more. Easily without question my favorite iteration of him and TDA itself has cemented itself as my favorite of the modern trilogy, just the pure EMOTION you see from him and he's just... very beautiful man.

The way his brows lowered, the way his eyes take everything in, the way his hair looks so soft, the way his lips look so tender my god, the way his scars both old and newly bloodied are molded on his face like a work of art that have so many stories to tell. I'm sorry for pure unsdulterated simping but without exaggeration he is THE most beautiful man I have ever seen in a video game I do not care for counter arguments and that's just looks don't get me started on characterization as pure selfless man who genuinely fights to protect the innocent and holds so much humanity even if means having to hold so much suffering bared on his shoulders.

If you're familiar with my blog you know Vergil devil may cry has been my comfort character whom I love dearly with all my heart and have a very personal long historical connection since all the way in 2005 but Doom Slayer is a very close second. Anyway that's to all say I love him and really want them to keep using this character model okay bye 👋

When I first saw the leak of his face from the art book, I didn't really liked it.

But now...

I don't understand all the Doom fans who're like "when will they just give the Slayer a happy ending? When will they free him from his torment?" What are you talking about? The dude is living his best possible life. There is no happier nor more fulfilling existence for him than getting to rip and tear evildoers and avenge the innocent from now until the end of time. That's his shtick, everyone keeps searching for some kind of deeper meaning in his actions when the entire extent of his reasoning is that demons are assholes and killing assholes is fun. Dude's doing better emotionally than you or I am.
