This is a bit of a warning to the rq community, so tw for antis and the like. I'll keep it below the cut, but I do consider this to possibly be kinda important

There was just an upload by a youtuber by the name of "The Internet Investigator" with 189K subscribers about a consang relationship themed blog, along with briefly looking into the tag and another blog

Obviously, as antis always do, the entire thing is negative. I only really clicked on it because I was genuinely surprised that it used the term "consang" rather than "incest" like usually used by antis

The reason I bring this to the attention of the community is that they very much did mention the radqueer community in the video and mentioned possibly looking into us as well

This is obviously going to bring a lot more harassment from antis, and the youtuber DOES straight up reveal both the username of the consang account, as well as just outright showing uncensored screenshots

I feel like it might be wise to possibly keep a bit of an eye out, just in case. If they're willing to blatantly show accounts, it might be best to try and private blogs if you feel that you might not be able to take the flood of harassment that's unfortunately inevitable to come

It's annoying having to hide honestly, and I don’t wanna make it seem like we need to suddenly go underground because some anti decided to publicize things. Only do so if you feel like this might upset you. Knowing antis, it'll probably be triggering to some

Anti's (who nowadays often simply refer to themselves as being against "pro-ship ideology" and think "anti" is an insult or something) particularly the ones who bring their shit out of fandom & apply the anti ethos to the real world (and a lot of them do) are actually quite sad. Go to their blogs and you'll see a lot of personal posts about loneliness, "people not being there for them like they are", etc.

not to say that loneliness isn't an experience almost everyone can empathize with--of course it is--but on loud anti blogs this shows up like a borderline-radfem blog amount.

and it really just doesn't click for them at all that the people in their life are withholding intimacy because their views on the human experience, psyche, and heart are too dangerously rigid for them to even be capable of the intimacy they're searching for. They do not pick up on the fact that the people in their life know better than to share intimacy of any kind with them, likely because the person made a bid for intimacy in the form of emotional honesty and were met with bad faith, paternalistic judgment that hurt them and ultimately made them distance themselves.

It really doesn't click for them until they finally start to mature out of it, and that doesn't happen when they learn their ideology hurts other people, it's when they realize they personally fall into the Them they're shaming.
