The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Losing Weight Without Starving
Before trying semaglutide, I was already in the weight range I wanted to be at I was just being lazy, greedy, and easily persuaded by a “get-thin-quick” scheme. (Yes, I too am easily manipulated if the price aka weight loss is right.) But instead of helping me, it made matters worse. I lost my energy, my appetite, my sanity, and worst of all… my edges. After going through the “I got what I…

🌷- taking care of plants/pets
Ask muse how good they are at...🌷- taking care of plants/pets! Senritsus mother is the graverobbers-groups herbal Healer and occaisonally actual doctor after enough time and expierence. This of ourse had never replaed actual doctor and hospitals, but when the people were on the road and there was a injuriy or a sickness than the first path lead to Senritsus mothers cravan until they reached the nearest town and had thrown the groups money together for a proper treatment. Accordingly her mother was growing plants on pots on her caravans roof and she teached her children hwo to keep them alive, how to use them and when in need, where to find them in wild nature.
That Senritsus Hatsu causes through vibration of the eyeballs the hallucination of dandelions is no mistake cosidering what a massive bomb of a healingplant dandelion actually is: The juice from dandelionroots works antibacterial and can be used to clean bleeding injuries. Liverproblems, inflammations,stress, tension, urinary-infections, female hormone-imbalances; are all problems that can be treated with the diffrent parts of the dandelion. Eventually Dandelion is also a very good addition to meals, full of vitamines from the leafs to the root (the roots can even be roasted for coffee), which is very needed for people who live on the road and not always have a stable food-source. As Senritsus ability should be used for strictly healing, the dandelion is a very fitting plant to symbolise it. So Senritsu is very good looking after plants due to her Mothers teaching. In teh same manner, she knwos exactly which frequence boosts the growth of plantmatter so she even has a unfair ability with her abilityo boost the growth of plants.
When it comes to animals: Senritsu is a Hunter. Good Hunters are liked by animals and she easily can understand an animals fears and wants through listening to thee music their body makes. And if that is not enough, she will watch them and figure it out from there. However, as the same it is with stable relationships and family: Senritsu would never adopt a pet, because she knows that she will always be away and burrie din her work, sos he would never be able to give that pet teh attenion and care it would need and she is not cruel enoug ti bind a living beeing to her and with that to the fate of always beeing on the second place in her life.
#hunting-songs: headcanon#hunting-songs#thanks for the ask dear :D#I had been in a hardcore herbalwitch phase in my teens. I am a big fan of modern medicine BUT GOOD WRITING SYMBOLIC IS GOOD WRITING SYMBOLI

SPIRACLE, ryn selene
ko-fi
[full text below the cut]
it’s always the boys holding midnight baptisms.
summer is a slow torture of lies and mourning the nights when youth felt endless. formative years spent with secrets kept warm in the back of throats.
golden boys, lords of the lake. unable to admit the truth even with water flooding their lungs. bathing in the dusk moonlight, fantasies of tangible love clouding their minds.
boys led to divinity underneath dusk’s knowing gaze. spiraling boyhood pushed backwards into holy water by the gentle fingertips of makeshift gods.
a dead boy is still dead when you lead him down to the creek, when you kiss him. you’ll die if you follow him down this path. his starbright savior won’t come for you.
how much longing does it take to come clean? he is what the water gave you. love has always been a fickle game, no one’s winning.
darling blue boy, you can’t outrun devotion. drink from the well of him. play dead, wait for god to react.
there’s no righteous path to follow anymore, boys continue their innocent deaths in the coldness of water.
a dead boy is still dead even when you try to guide him to heaven, even when you love him.
sullen blue boy, why did you let devotion burn so bright? who knew the season of daylight could be so violent?
a dead boy is still dead when you take him home. no amount of washing him clean will reverse this tragedy. taking him down to the lake wasn’t a sign of mercy. sometimes water is only water.

The bottom line
Ashwagandha is an ancient medicinal herb with multiple possible health benefits.
Study findings suggest that it may help reduce anxiety and stress, support restful sleep, and even improve cognitive functioning in certain populations.
Ashwagandha is considered relatively safe for most people. However, it’s not appropriate for everyone, so it’s important to talk with a healthcare professional before adding ashwagandha to your routine.
(Post is Not meant to substitute the advice of any doctor. Always consult a health professional first. )
Below are all the possible benefits
1. May help reduce stress and anxiety
Ashwagandha is perhaps best known for its ability to reduce stress. It’s classified as an adaptogen, a substance that helps the body cope with stress.
2. May benefit athletic performance
Research has shown that ashwagandha may have beneficial effects on athletic performance and may be a worthwhile supplement for athletes.
3. May reduce symptoms of some mental health conditions
Some evidence suggests that ashwagandha may help reduce symptoms of other mental health conditions, including depression, in certain populations.
4. May help boost testosterone and increase fertility in men
Ashwagandha supplements have been shown in some studies to benefit male fertility and increase testosterone levels.
5. May reduce blood sugar levels
Limited evidence suggests that ashwagandha may have some benefits for people with diabetes or high blood sugar levels.
6. May reduce inflammation
Ashwagandha contains compounds, including WA, that may help reduce inflammation in the body
7. May improve brain function, including memory
Taking ashwagandha may benefit cognitive function.
One review that included five clinical studies noted there was early evidence that ashwagandha could improve cognitive functioning in certain populations, including older adults with mild cognitive impairment and people with schizophrenia.
Cognitive functions it may benefit included
* executive functioning
* attention
* reaction time
* performance on cognitive tasks
8. May help improve sleep
Many people take ashwagandha to promote restful sleep, and some evidence suggests it may help with sleep issues.
Ashwagandha is a safe supplement for most people, although its long-term effects are unknown.
However, certain people should not take it. For example, pregnant people should avoid it because it may cause pregnancy loss if used in high doses

Herbalism
Okay, let’s talk herbalism!
It’s the “study or practice of the medicinal and therapeutic use of plants, now especially as a form of alternative medicine” (Merriam Webster Dictionary). In other words the original form of medicine created by our ancestors. Ancestors simply refers to the first groups of humans on earth, so don’t go shutting down just yet.
I find people shut down when they hear “heRBal mEDicine”. Why? Is it because it’s unfamiliar? Tends to be associated with occult, witchcraft, folklore, sorcery? Or maybe because it’s not a pharmaceutical drug? Ironically enough, another definition, defines herbal medicine as traditional medicine. An interesting argument because isn’t that what western medicine is called? Traditional medicine = western medicine. Alternative medicine = eastern medicine. I find this to be another genius idea the rich white man brainwashed us with to completely negate and erase ancient and indigenous frameworks to make it easier to pump drugs into our sacred bodies. Enough of that ramble for now. Here are 5 of my favorite herbs, their functions, and how I like to utilize their essence:
Ginger- zingiber officinale
I have adopted my mother’s tendencies with ginger. I know keep fresh grated ginger in a glass container ready to be consumed during low immunity seasons (covid-friendly). It has a strong and hot scent that can clear out any build-up in the chest, throat, and nose regions. Incredible for strengthening your immune system and soothing stomachaches, cramps, headaches, and sore throats with its anti-inflammatory properties. Amazing addition to food, too.
Nettle- urtica dioica
I first came across Nettle while creating elixirs and serums for hair wellness. I learned it can be ingested as a tea to help balance hormones, strengthen your heart, and strengthening your hair (you can also steep it to make a nettle tonic for hair). This is a tea I make right before my menstrual cycle because of its pain relieving qualities. Nettle leaves are packed with a shit ton of nutrients (iron, magnesium, vitamins C, D, and K and much more)!
Dandelion Root- taraxacum officinale
Dandelion Root is one of the newest additions to my pantry. I use my intuition to guide when to ingest herbs in addition to gathering information about the herb and consulting experts. I was lead to this root since coming off of birth control and rebalancing my womb space. Dandelion root is rich in antioxidants which are great for maintaining overall health. It supports your liver’s function by aiding in the digesting process. It’s great as a natural detoxifying agent.
Lavender- lavandula angustifolia
Most people know lavender for two reasons a). Its scent and b). Calming effects. Whether you like the scent or not its properties can be used to relieve restlessness and sadness. People use lavender oil for bug bites, minor burns, and body aches because of its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and soothing nature. Additionally, for my spiritual friends, it’s associated with the third-eye chakra (intuition, self-expression, creativity, and focus). I put it in my bath water to help soothe my body especially if I’ve had a long day.
Red Raspberry Leaf- rubus idaeus
Red Raspberry Leaf is also a lovely ally for those who have a womb. It works wonders for cramps and tension in abdomen and gut areas. I am loyal to Red Raspberry Leaf tea before and during my menstrual cycle because it strengthens the muscles in the uterus preventing painful cramps. RRL is high in nutrients like vitamins B and K, iron, magnesium, potassium, and more. It is known to have detoxifying properties as well as improving fat metabolism and weight loss.
Remember, you are a sovereign being. Do not leave it up to someone else to do what is good for your overall well-being. Do the research, consult the experts, and be careful when implementing new herbs and plants. I am not an herbalist or doctor (yet). This is how I use plant medicine for my body, mind, and spirit. Thank you for reading!

This tea is a calming aphrodisiac sleepy tea!! I love when I get a new tea everytime I go to my favorite herbalist I learn something new it’s such an exciting thrill ! It’s just makes me want to nourish and take care of my body! Starting with what you put in it! I’m an emotional eater when I’m nervous anxious worried sad I eat and once you become conscious of that you can change it! Sometimes I wish I was that person who can’t eat when they feel this way but in this past couple years I’ve learned more about myself than I ever had! Thank god I found my soul tribe!

I made a syrup tonight—it turned out pretty well. Id never made one before, but i enjoyed it and it should go well with my morning coffee ✨
(For anyone who’s interested, the recipe is for psychic awareness and strengthening, specifically intuition and clairvoyance and sentience. In it are three crushed anise stars, lavender, mugwort, dandelion root, rose petals, and a very small amount of lemon balm. We’ll see how it works!)
