Hi, I’m Thel and I need your help with something. A really good friend of mine is getting married in a couple of months. And I’d love to make her a wedding gift, in cross stitch. Now, I’m not looking for a traditional sampler. I rather have something very specific in mind. The thing is, said friend used to have a white cat, a Turkish Angora named Amira, a real character. 😸 (see below for pictures) She got Amira during her late teens, when she was going through a difficult period in her life. As a result, Amira became her best friend and the two were inseparable. The poor cat even moved across the country with her when she went to college. And Amira actually played a pretty big role in the beginning of her relationship with her soon-to-be husband. Fairly soon after they moved, Amira sadly passed away.

Now, for the wedding, I’d like to cross stitch a white Turkish Angora, as a “portrait” of Amira. I found a cross stitch work, but unfortunately that was part of a kit, that has since sold out everywhere.

So, my question is the following: does anybody know of a cross stitch pattern of a Turkish Angora (preferably white)? Or does someone perhaps have the pattern of the embroidery piece mentioned above?
