Georgia to purchase Israeli data extraction tech amid street protest crackdown
Georgia has moved to renew contracts with Israeli technology firm Cellebrite DI Ltd (CLBT.O) for software used to extract data from mobile devices, procurement documents show, as the country grapples with ongoing anti-government street protests. [...] The software, called Inseyets, allows law enforcement to "access locked devices to lawfully extract critical information from a broad range of devices", Cellebrite's website says. Cellebrite products are widely used by law enforcement, including the FBI, to unlock smartphones and scour them for evidence. [...] Georgia was plunged into political crisis in October, when opposition parties charged the ruling Georgian Dream party with rigging a parliamentary election. GD, in power since 2012, denies any wrongdoing. Georgians have been rallying nightly to demand the government's resignation since GD said in November it was suspending European Union accession talks until 2028. The demonstrations have drawn a swift crackdown by police, resulting in hundreds of arrests and beatings, rights groups say. The government has defended the police response to the protests. Gangs of masked men in black have attacked opposition politicians, activists and some journalists in recent months, raising alarm in Western capitals. Georgian authorities have said they are not involved in the attacks, and condemn them. A letter dated February 13 included among the documents on the state procurement website suggests Cellebrite was concerned about its sales to Georgia. A Cellebrite sales director, writing to a Georgian interior ministry official on what he called a "sensitive issue", warned Cellebrite's local office "could be blocked from selling our equipment". "Therefore, I would like to advise you that if you are planning a purchase this year, please try to make it as early as possible," the employee wrote, without specifying why sales might be halted.
wherever a brutal government consolidates itself, israel shows up

Hi thereâs a tornado in my area rn but Iâm spiteful like that. Random tsams/eaps headcanons be upon ye
Ruin still does those little audio log diaries. It helps manage his overflowing memory storage (read: old age = more memories to store) without compressing data files.
Bloodmoon sleeps with dog toys. Otherwise, theyâd probably chew through whatever bedding material they had chosen that night. This was Ruinâs idea.
Eclipse canât sleep with lights on in a room. Ruin canât sleep without a light. The makeshift solution is a sleeping mask for Eclipse, but their actual compromise is a star projector.
Eclipse has to know where everyone is most of the time, especially after Charlie came into the picture. This is usually done with cameras and tracking via fazbear systems, but itâs an issue he has to work on, as itâs just a method to make him feel better about security now that there are people he cares about. At least one person has commented on there being a new nightguard.
Dark sun finds thrillers tacky, and prefers thought-provoking mysteries, bonus points for romance.
Most of them carry some kind of sanitizing wipe packet. For daycare attendants, these are for sticky messes and children. For those more familiar with tools, these are for tougher grime and are not suitable for sensitive (childrenâs) skin. Solar has both.
The eclipses (Eclipse, Solar, Ruin) are the most prone to damaging their rays. Eclipse sometimes hits doorways and doesnât bother to fix cracked rays. Ruin is small enough for humans to reach his head. Solar peels the paint off of his. All three will pull or squeeze their rays in times of extreme stress, to varying degrees. Lunar is an exception for lack of rays. (Similarly, Sun fidgets with his rays, which is the source of this trait.)
While there are exceptions, Suns prefer tactile stimulation, Moons auditory, and Eclipses have no strong preference. Earth likes social interaction.
Animatronics have personalized UI that makes sense to them, which serves as their access point to their internal folders, like memory files, downloaded items, and executable programs. Bots that share an operating system/âbrainâ have the same UI. Diagnostics, software updates, and safety modes all require additional hardware (computers, parts and service devices, fazwrenches) to complete. Mindscapes are in AI chips, and multiple AIs in one mindscape happen when multiple AIs share the same operating system. Visual feed can be projected onto other screens with HDMI cables and vice versa, which can sometimes show that botâs UI depending on what it is. For a more direct example of this think of the battery and blue borders you see in Security breach when Gregory is hiding inside Freddy.
Safety mode disconnects that bot from the Fazbear Ent. local network, meaning no tracking, no communication via local networks (which generally arenât private anyway, most bots with access to phones prefer those), and no access to files that arenât stored in that botâs drive. This is meant to isolate a botâs systems from the main network in case of a security breach (hah), make transportation of bots between locations easier, and make maintenance a smoother affair as there is no outside interference during the process. For the bots themselves, this is the equivalent of turning off your phone and going outside I mean focusing only on whatâs in front of you instead of whatâs going on in your area/social network. Itâs possible to be stuck in safety mode. Depending on how much of a botâs system relies on Fazbear Ent. Networks to function (such as a botâs memory being stored in a Cloud, which is also ill advised between the bots themselves,) this can be mean a temporary personality/memory reset until those files get reconnected again. Bots do not need to be connected to the Fazbear ent networks to function, but it generally makes access to software updates easier due to being recognized as a company entity. It is possible for a private network to exist, but itâs considered foreign by Fazbear systems and can be more trouble than theyâre worth. Moon and Eclipse have private networks shared with close friends and family for different purposes. Moonâs is mostly for emergency backups, and Eclipseâs is for security.
Animatronicâs memories are stored in the hard drives in their bodies. Itâs possible to offload memory files into networks (Cloud) or external storage systems. If another bot had access to these clouds or external storages, they could experience the memories stored in them. Memory files include visual and auditory data, like a movie. AI/personality chips are the equivalent of a soul in that the AI is the product of a learning AI having experienced environments that supplied them information about the world AKA an Ai that developed a personality beyond their base programming, but they do not carry memories. For example, Eclipse V3-V4 is an Eclipse AI given incomplete memories, creating a disconnect in the AIâs learned behaviors and what it perceives as the source of that behavior, resulting in an incomplete backup. Backups are static/unchanging copies of integral memory files and the accompanying AI (As is in the moment that they are backed up.) Backups need to be updated as the animatronic itâs for develops.
#go easy on me I only have basic knowledge of computer stuff#quirky headcanons#tsams#eaps#Iâm also halfway through a sociology class so take the AI one with a grain of salt#hopefully this makes sense

Trapped in the Dark Net
a collaboration with Devon Gold #67 @devon-gold-67
It was 10:45 PM. Devon moved through a dimly lit corridor in Zone 7âa rarely used supply tunnel between the nutrient processing units and his personal quarters. Apart from the Polo Drones, hardly anyone was active at this hour.
Yet, unmistakable noises echoed from the upper floors. Some bros were clearly not in sleep mode.
But that was floors above. Down here, the silence was thick. Almost.
A soft scraping sound made Devon pause. As he turned the corner, he came face-to-mask with PDU-073. The drone had noticed the same noise. Together, they looked ahead.
A shadow slipped into one of the residential rooms.
âHEY! Who the hell are you, brah?!â Devon shouted. âStop immediately!â came 073âs mechanical voice.
But the intruder ran. No reply. Just footsteps, fast and panicked.
Devon and PDU-073 gave chase. Whatever the stranger had taken, it mattered. Devon struggled to keep up with the droneâs speedâbut managed. The pursuit carried them deep into the shadows of the city.
Thenâthe trap.
As soon as they turned into a narrow alley, a heavy net shot out of the ground. With a hiss, the cords tightened, hoisting them upwards. Devon gasped, breathless. 073 remained still, systems locked.
Fifteen feet above the ground, they dangled in a glistening net of black-gold polymer.
Then came the gas.
A sharp scent filled the air. Devonâs eyelids grew heavy. The last thing he saw was the faint glow of 073âs golden tracings.
Darkness.
System Reboot: PDU-073.
Silence.
The drone was restrainedâlegs, forearms, neckâall clamped in thick black cuffs. The room was cold. In infrared, it detected another heat source: Devon, bound identically.
With a groan, Devon stirred. His head throbbed.
â073... are you online?â
âAffirmative. No Hive connection. The chamber is shielded. Location: undetectable.â
Devon chuckled through the pain. âYâknow⌠waking up with a collar isnât the worst part. But they couldâve at least bought us dinner first.â
073âs golden lines glowed faintly in the dark.
âDevon always thinks about food,â it muttered.
âI lost my sandwich during the chaseâŚâ Devon grumbled.
073 ran diagnostics. âWeâve been unconscious for five hours and eleven minutes. System integrity intact. Firewalls held.â
Then a voice echoed through the chamber. Metallic. Unfamiliar.
âYou are awake. You are in our power. The Golden Army must be destroyed. You will help usâfrom the inside. Willingly⌠or with persuasion.â
Devon and 073 exchanged a single look.
Betrayal was not an option.
âWhat a flaming bastardâŚâ Devon hissed.
073 considered. Devon had once applied to become a drone. PerhapsâŚ
Initiating: Telepathic Link.
âCan you hear me?â ââŚYes. Itâs working.â âTelepathic comms are secure. Letâs use them.â
âCan you free yourself?â âAttempting.â
Devon flexed his golden bicepsâbut the cuffs didnât yield.
073, however, worked methodically. Data calculation. Servo control. Internal torque adjustments. After a minute, success. First the hands, then the ankles. Devon followed.

Both stood freeâbut the door remained locked.
âThey want access to the Golden Armyâs infrastructure,â 073 transmitted. âWe must stop them.â
Footsteps. Heavy. Approaching.
âTake left side of the door. 073 takes right.â
The door opened. One guard stepped inâDevon grabbed him, yanked him into the room, and knocked him out with a single punch.
The second froze in the doorway. Too late. 073 immobilized him in one swift, silent motion.
The Gold Bro and the drone bound both attackers.
âTime to move. Follow this unit.â
Devon nodded.
They navigated corridors, pipes, and tunnelsâuntil they reached a control center.

Tech hummed. Lights flickered. Devon reached for the main power lever.
âWait,â 073 said. âDeleting software first.â
It linked to the system. Scanned. Corrupted. Wiped.
âNow: return to Golden.â
Mission Outcome: The breach was neutralized. The Golden Armyâs systems remained secure. Devon and PDU-073 had not only escapedâthey had resisted, stood firm, and acted in unity.
The Hive now knew: This bond could not be broken.

âFuck.â Another paper cut slices your thumb like butter from furiously flicking through the paperwork. Velvette will have your head if you get blood on her reports again. You set them down, sticking your thumb in your mouth to slow the bleeding. The metallic taste dances across your palate as you rifle through the basket on your desk for a band-aid. When you find one, you fumble a bit, struggling to apply it with your left hand.
Five perfectly manicured fingers slam the surface in front of you, launching your heart into a tailspin. You look up to see Velvette, the Social Media Overlord, glaring down at you.
âWhere the fuck are my reports?â she demands, snapping her fingers, âI need social listening, whatâs trending, engagement analytics and I needed them yesterday.âÂ
âAh,â you bow your head, hastily flicking through the stack looking for the reports. You pry each one from the pile and hold them out to her, âHere they are.â
She snaps them out of your hand, the paper crinkling violently. Your mind races as you watch her ruby eyes narrow and scan the sheets. Youâre nearly confident they were perfectly crafted, but a sliver of doubt shrouds your thoughts. You hear her mumble under her breath, each flip of the page more irate than the last.
âWhat the fuck is this?â Velvette spits out slapping one of the pages on your desk, causing you to flinch. You open your mouth to reply, nervously pulling on the hem of your skirt, but youâre cut off, âEngagement is way down. Are you sure you did these right? Did you fuckâem up, again?!âÂ
You swallow down the lump in your throat and point towards your screen, showcasing the information that you pulled the data from. You knew she would ask about this.
âWell Ms. Velvette,â your voice is shaky despite your attempt to mask it, âI triple-checked the data but every result comes back to this. I can try to run it again?â
The overlord moves closer to squint at your screen, the rich navy and magenta curls of her pigtails brushing against the desk. She scoffs, standing upright, and pinches the bridge of her nose.
âDonâ fuckinâ bother. Un-fuckinâ-believable,â she clips, massaging the spot where her fingers rest, âGo see Vox. He updated the software to change the algorithm. Get the old one back. If the cretins of hell arenât glued to their phones, then whatâs the fuckinâ point.â
Youâre frozen in place, slightly taken back by Velvette asking you to see Vox â generally, she handles communication with him.
âWell?â She waves her hand emphatically, motioning at the elevator, âGet on with it then.â
âYes, Ms. Velvette,â you nod, launching from your chair, and half-jogging toward the elevator. You nearly roll an ankle on your way and you quietly cuss about Velvetteâs dress code. You jam the elevator button with such pent-up ferocity that the paper cut stings beneath the band-aid.
The elevator dings, signaling its arrival and you slip inside before the doors fully open, tapping the button to the penthouse suite. Your hands cross comfortably in front of you.Â
As the elevator climbs, you become hyper-aware of the sweat pooling in your palms. You've seen Voxâs face daily since starting with Velvette - he runs the whole VVV empire â but never in person. His malicious smile, with teeth like sharpened glass, can be found on the walls, doors, and even on the elevator screen.
âVox. Trust us.â Voxâs euphonious voice echoes through the speaker of the metal box. A chuckle escapes your chest at the prospect of trusting any of them. You know full well what these overlords are like, and wouldn't trust them to as far as you could throw them.
Your heart is nearly in your throat when you reach the top floor, the arrival bell reverberating through your spine as the doors open. Your feet feel cemented to the floor as you trudge through the cold, dimly lit hallway, but the ethereal blue glow from Voxâs office pulls you forward.
The circular, metal doors whoosh open as you approach and you're in awe of the massive, spherical room it reveals. Your heels clack against the floor, the sound echoing off the curved walls as you traverse the lit-up walkway that cuts through the center.Â
As you approach the middle of the room, you're greeted by a curved wall of screens, radiating light with such intensity that you squint. Each TV, in a range of different sizes, broadcasts something different. Movies, news, porn, social media â nearly every video format you can think of had a dedicated screen.Â
Your eyes trail downward, landing on the back of a slightly reclined chair at the center of it all. The mint-coloured tip of Voxâs boots can be seen next to each other, his legs crossed at the heel on top of the control panel below the TVs.Â
âMs. Velvette sent me up to ask about changing the algorithm. Engagement has been down and uh,â your heart is in overdrive, thrumming through your chest like a jackhammer as you intentionally walk through each word to avoid stammering, âshe asked me to come to see you about changing it back.âÂ
âUh huh,â mumbles the demon. You catch a glimpse of his hand furiously typing away on his phone as you speak, barely acknowledging your existence.Â
Is he fucking kidding?
Youâre sickened by the fact that you spend most of your days putting up with Velvetteâs bullshit, only to be ignored by another smug asshole in this place. Rage bubbles in your chest, you take a deep breath and look around the office, hopeful for some semblance of common ground. Your eyes land on a massive dartboard with pictures strewn across it, and you realize you recognize one of them.Â
âOh, I used to listen to his broadcasts all the time. Thatâs Alastor, right?â you barely notice the flicker of the screens when the Radio Demonâs name leaves your mouth, âI love his voice.â
A snap pulls your gaze back towards the chair, which is now in an upright position. Voxâs feet are planted on the floor and his claws slice into the armrests of his chair. His head tilts towards you, his blood-red eyes pointed furiously in your direction. The glow of his turquoise sharpened teeth contrasts with the drips of crimson saliva bleeding from his mouth.Â
You realize you must have hit a nerve with Alastor's name.
âWhat did you say?â Voxâs voice booms through the speakers of the office, vibrating through every bone in your body.Â
You're annoyed by his reaction more than you are scared. The paper cut burns under the bandaid, reminding you of the constant shit you put up with in this fucking place â now you can't enjoy other mediums?
âI'm sorry, can I not like things that aren't Vox-related?â Your eyebrows furrow and your head tilts, âWho gives a shit if I listened to the fucking radio however many years ago.â
âYou're playing a dangerous game.â Vox spits venomously, his voice distorted in a way you've never heard before. The chair spins and he launches himself to a standing position. His body stiffens, the shoulders of his navy and turquoise striped blazer nearly coming to his ears.Â
Voxâs footsteps echo through the giant room as he walks towards you with a nefarious intent. The hungry look in his eye twists your stomach into knots. Primal fear overtakes the rage you felt moments ago, clouding your senses. You take a step back.
âFuck this, I quit.â you sputter out. On the last syllable, Voxâs left eye swirls into a cacophony of blue and red circles. You're entranced, as if you're caught in the deathly whirlpool of his gaze, unable to escape. A faint buzz fires through your limbs, locking you in place.
âDo ya now?â Vox cackles, coming toe to toe with you. The overlordâs aquamarine index claw curls under your chin, digging into your skin as he forces you to meet his gaze.Â
Vox's grin fires warning flares through your mind as his eyes take you in, swallowing you whole. Electricity zaps around the screen of his face. A baleful laugh erupts through his chest as he turns on his heel to walk back towards his chair.
âFollow me.â He demands. You don't have the opportunity to decline. Your body moves on it's own, following in the footsteps of the demented demon in front of you. He casually sits in his chair, legs apart.

âSit.â Voxâs clawed finger points at his lap. You fight against your body with every move it makes but to no avail â you're now straddling the demon, powerless. His shit-eating grin devours you. Â
âWhat the fuck are you doing to me?â you force out behind gritted teeth, âlet me go you fucking assholeâ
âoh ho ho,â he gleams, cocking an eyebrow, âthis one is spicy. I like it when they're spicy.â
You feel his claws dig into your scalp as he grabs a fistful of your hair, pulling your face towards his. His teeth part, revealing his long, cyan tongue inching towards your neck. The tip of it grazes against your throat, and you grimace at the wetness of his saliva coating your skin.
You want to squirm but you can't.
âGo ahead and squirm.â He urges as if reading your mind. He leans back in his chair, fingers laced behind his head, âShow me how scared you are.â
Your body involuntarily wriggles, bringing your full attention to Voxâs hard, thick length pressing against the thin fabric of your underwear. You curse Velvetteâs dress code once again.Â
You're disgusted by the amusement in his expression, his hot breath blowing across your face as he reacts to your struggle. Fear crawls up the back of your neck, terrified of where this is headed.
âPlease let me go.â you whimper, still squirming on top of him.
âI'll let you go when you really know who's in charge here. Radio is dead. Video is the future. And this,â Vox points towards his crotch, âis your future. Get on your knees.â
Your body carries you against your will to the floor in front of the demon. Goosebumps crawl up your shins as they make contact with the ground below you.
A vile laugh bursts from the demon, âI'm so fuckin hard right now. Taste me, bitch.âÂ
Reluctance floods your body, but you're unable to fight the movement of your hands as you unbutton and unzip him. The overlord's cyan cock springs free and you nearly choke on your tongue at the length and girth of it. You barely have time to process before your entrapped body forces you forward, his erection throbbing below your tongue as it runs across it.
Your lips wrap around the tip and Vox snarls in pleasure. The demon reaches out with both hands, clutching fistfuls of your hair. Strands rip free from your scalp as they wrap around his claws. He pulls your mouth down on him, forcefully closing the gap between the tip of his cock and the back of your throat.
âMmm, good girl,â moans the demon, bucking his hips while he holds you there, cutting off any ability to pull air into your lungs. Your jaw aches. Your vision blurs. For a moment, you question if this is how you die.
Vox finally releases you and you launch backward, collapsing on the floor with a sickening thud. Your lungs heave, desperately trying to pull in oxygen as you stutter and gasp.
âYou're not done yet,â he cackles, ânow it's time for the real show. It's time you remember who owns you. Fuck me, now.â
Your stomach sinks at the prospect but you unwillingly climb to your feet. Distress fires through your brain like fireworks, and you plant your feet with such force that you wonder if they'll break through the ground below you.Â
It's no use.
You're pulled towards the demon, your body hanging on his every demand.Â
âPlease no,â you plead, knowing full well the damage Voxâs monstrous cock will do to you, but that only sets his blood-coloured eyes ablaze. Your reluctance fuels him.
You straddle the overlord again, but this time you're pulling the fabric of your underwear to the side. Your body lowers itself towards Voxâs length, throbbing in anticipation of your pussy wrapping around him. His face glows a radiant blue when the bulbous head finds your slit. His maniacal expression sends waves of trepidation cascading through your chest.
âSit.â
You do as you're told, slowly lowering yourself. He's not even halfway in when a sharp inhale dances across your tongue, your insides already stretching past the point of comfort.Â
âPlease, it won't fit.â you beg, your breaths becoming more urgent with each inch that slides through your folds.
Vox looks up at you, a vile grin splayed across his face. He wraps his claws around your waist, the tips of his nails breaking through the skin of your back, and forces himself all the way inside of you. You scream as you feel him bottom out.
He doesn't give you a moment to breathe.
Using the grip of your waist as leverage, Vox thrusts violently, hammering into you with such ferocity that your hands fire out, clutching the breast of his jacket for support.Â
Your lips part and a moan escapes. You're unsure if it's genuine or part of the entrapment he has you in, but the cock of Vox's eyebrow answers that for you. He slides one hand to the middle of your back, pulling you into him, and you find yourself rocking your hips in tandem with his.
âWho do you belong to?â barks the overlord.
âI belong to Vox.â you moan.
âAnd who's better than that trash radio demon?â
âYou are, Vox.âÂ
A distorted growl rumbles from Voxâs chest in reaction to your words. He bares his teeth, clamping down on your shoulder. You scream as warm streams of crimson roll down your tricep, splashing onto the arm rests of the chair.
You're unable to deny the fire building in your throbbing clit as the overlordâs thrusts increase in speed, signaling that he's close to his peak. You meet his rhythm, chasing your own climax as your moans and his snarls echo around you, the heat of your breath fogging up the glowing screens.Â
He wraps both arms around you and growls, pulling you downward as he explodes inside of you. Your toes curl as shockwaves of pleasure fire through every nerve ending. Your orgasm pulses through your fingers and toes as you revel in how the demon fills you. His seed gushes out of you, dripping down the inside of your thigh.
âGet out.â Demands Vox, causing you to involuntarily stand and adjust your skirt. Euphoria continues to plague your thoughts and you're too lost in the haze to be bothered by any of his bullshit anymore.
You limp towards the exit, clutching the seeping wound on your shoulder when he calls after you, âTell Velvette I'll update the algorithm.â
âYes, Vox.â You mutter under your breath.
âAnd I'll see you next week.â his cackles echo through your skull as the metal doors slide closed behind you.

Although the rate of Trumpâs arrests and deportations quantitatively falls behind the ruthless efficiency of the Biden years, this administrationâs audacity and chaotic extra-legal methods are honed to incite maximum fear, repression and a chilling of speech in immigrant communities, amongst labour organisers, and Palestine solidarity activists. That these groups are in the crosshairs isnât a unique capricious expression of Trumpian malice, this is by systematic design. The ideological fear tactics engaged against these groups specifically make perfect sense when stripping back the propaganda to look at the circuitry powering the oppressive machine. As part of the Biden administrationâs âvirtual border wallâ, towers along the Arizona/Mexico border were built and operated by Elbit Systems, Israelâs largest weapons manufacturer (with a massive 2024 contract awarded to expand their operations over the next decade). Israeli phone hacking software company Cellebrite has continuously been awarded contracts by ICE since 2008. Vice President JD Vanceâs financial backer Peter Theilâs mass surveillance company, Palantir, has supplied ânew toolsâ to the Israeli state from the start of the genocide, while leaked internal messages show the companyâs role in physically locating people marked for ICE deportation . Google and Amazonâs cloud storage hosts military data for the Israeli state as well as data and AI systems for US Customs and Border Protection's âmachine learning surveillance toolsâ. The same companies who have participated in and profited off of Israelâs AI and hyper-surveillance fuelled âmass assassination factoryâ in its genocide in Gaza and terror campaigns in the West Bank have been some of the major players in the tech-washing of state violence against people who have migrated to the US. Trumpâs overt embrace of the big tech broligarchy that undergirds both Israeli genocide and US ICE terror is only the latest of his administration doing what it does best: ripping the mask of decorum off US empire and parading out the grotesque reality of capitalist violence thatâs been there all along.

On March 20, President Trump signed an executive order âEliminating Information Silos.â The order directed heads of federal agencies to make sure officials designated by the president âhave full and prompt access to all unclassified agency records, data, software systems, and information technology systems.â The executive order did not attract much attention until it was more recently revealed that the administration was working with tech company Palantir to create a database containing all information collected by all federal agencies on all US citizens.
A database consisting of all the information of American citizens collected by the various federal agencies such as the Social Security Administration, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Pentagon would be a major step in creating a total surveillance state. This database could come in handy to future Dr. Faucis seeking to enforce mask and vaccine mandates. Those with access to this database could see personal health records, education records, and tax returns. They may even be able to see how many firearms individuals have purchased and if they were associated with any organizations the government had labeled âextremist.â
Despite the obvious threat to liberty the âbig ugly databaseâ poses, some commentators and âinfluencersâ who would normally oppose, or at least be skeptical of, expansion of the surveillance state are supporting it because they believe it will be used to locate illegal immigrants. Some conservatives are supporting this proposal because it will help identify students who have publicly opposed the U.S. governmentâs support for Israelâs actions in Gaza. Ironically, many of those supporting government cracking down on âanti-Israelâ students came to fame (and in some cases fortune) as critics of âwokenessâ and cancel culture.

For your consideration:
Alfa Acta:
So little trust in their signees that they have to tell them not to launch missiles at door to door salesmen
Name does not roll off tongue very well
Wow, red? How original. Did they get that from Dissun, Volpe, or THE FINALS ITSELF!?
Smell based targeting!? What are you talking about!?!?
âBut theyâre new and-â Everything from that one commercial is in the store, and their face is on plenty of the battlepass.
Engimo:
Have you seen the shit they do with your data?
But honestly points for being so bad at hiding the shady shit they do that it wraps around and looks like transparency.
So what do they actually do? Wi-Fi? A messaging software? Itâs honestly unclear/
If you didnât sign with them back in season 4 you donât actually get any of that shit they advertised. You get a plastic mask and a SR-84 skin instead.
OSPUZE:
Immediately clear who we are and what weâre about. Surface level is hardly a bad thing.
No nefarious undertones in the fine print. For once.
âI already have so much OSPUZE stuff!â More is always better.
Also this stuff is way cooler. Some of our best yet. Just wait until you see the lightning effects.
See you in the arena.

Yvette Heiser - Enhance Your Photography with These Pro-Level Photo Editing Techniques
Photography is more than just capturing a momentâitâs about storytelling, emotion, and creativity. However, even the most well-composed shots can benefit from post-processing. Yvette Heiser Painting with Pixels: A Guide to Advanced Photo Editing Techniques explores how professional editing can elevate an ordinary image into a visually stunning masterpiece. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, mastering these pro-level editing skills will help you refine your photos and bring out their full potential.

1. Start with RAW Editing for Maximum Control
Shooting in RAW format instead of JPEG gives you more flexibility during editing. RAW files retain all the image data, allowing you to adjust exposure, color, and details without losing quality. Most professional photographers use software like Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, or Photoshop to process RAW images.
Quick Tip:
Adjust the white balance first to ensure accurate colors before making other edits.
2. Perfect the Exposure and Contrast
Even with careful shooting, exposure may need fine-tuning. Adjusting brightness, highlights, and shadows can balance an image and add depth. Contrast adjustments help differentiate between light and dark areas, making your photos pop.
Pro Tip:
Use the histogram in your editing software to ensure a well-balanced exposure without losing details in highlights or shadows.
3. Enhance Colors with Precision
Color correction and grading can completely transform the mood of an image. HSL (Hue, Saturation, and Luminance) adjustments allow you to control specific colors, making them richer or more subdued.
Best Practices:
Use split toning to add artistic color effects to highlights and shadows.
Adjust the vibrance instead of saturation for a more natural color boost.
4. Sharpen and Add Clarity for Crisp Details
Clarity and sharpness adjustments enhance textures and bring out intricate details, making your subject stand out. However, excessive sharpening can create an unnatural look, so itâs essential to find the right balance.
Quick Tip:
Use the "masking" feature in Lightroom when sharpening to apply it selectively, avoiding unnecessary noise in smooth areas like skies.
5. Remove Unwanted Elements with Retouching
Even the best photos may have distractions, such as dust spots, stray hairs, or background clutter. Tools like Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, and Content-Aware Fill in Photoshop can seamlessly remove unwanted elements without affecting the overall quality.
Pro Tip:
Use a low-opacity healing brush for subtle and natural-looking touch-ups.
6. Apply Dodging and Burning for Depth
Dodging (lightening) and burning (darkening) are classic darkroom techniques adapted to digital editing. These adjustments help shape the lighting in an image, drawing attention to important areas while adding dimension.
How to Use It:
Dodge the highlights on faces to create a soft glow.
Burn background elements to add depth and guide the viewerâs focus.
7. Use Gradient and Radial Filters for Dramatic Effects
Filters like gradients and radial adjustments help enhance specific parts of an image while keeping the rest untouched. These are particularly useful for improving skies, adding vignettes, or drawing focus to the subject.
Best Use Cases:
Apply a linear gradient to darken overexposed skies naturally.
Use a radial filter to subtly brighten the subject while keeping the edges darker.
8. Final Touch: Add a Signature Style with Presets and LUTs
Professional photographers often develop a signature look using presets (Lightroom) or LUTs (Look-Up Tables for video and photo editing). These tools speed up editing by applying predefined color and tone adjustments.
Pro Tip:
Customize presets to fit each image rather than applying them universally.
Final Thoughts
Editing is an essential part of modern photography, allowing you to refine your images and bring out their full artistic potential. Yvette Heiser, investigating the Transformative Power of Photography, highlights how post-processing can turn ordinary shots into breathtaking visual narratives. By mastering these professional-level editing techniques, you can transform your raw captures into visually stunning works of art. Whether youâre adjusting colors, enhancing sharpness, or removing distractions, the key is to maintain a natural and polished look.
Experiment with these tips and elevate your photography to the next level! Would you like any additional insights or software recommendations?

Brainstorm bustles into the building almost as soon as it opens. He's kept an optic out for months. Because what better way to get a new laboratory for even more feats than with a brand new firm? He hadn't been expecting to be handing a resume data pad that has several tabs open to Soundwave of all mech, but sure! They had technically been on the same side of the battle for a little while! Why not?
"I know I'm over qualified. Head engineer on the Lost Light, built a paradox proof time machine -we don't talk about that one-, and several, several weapons that were used both on and off the battlefield." He looked proud of himself behind his mask.
Brainstorm had basically ambushed Soundwave on the way to its office. It had heard a bit of commotion out in the halls, but figured it was the already hired employees celebrating the opening of the firm. It had not been expecting their daytime security guard to come rushing through mere moments after the datapad was in its hands.
Soundwave held up a servo to calm the guard before looking to this...prospect. It listened carefully, frowning under its visor a bit more with every sentence. After he finished, Soundwave didn't respond. It simply looked over the datapad, flipping through tabs, staring at the mechanical schematics that were being provided as examples of his work.
Finally, Soundwave looked up again and tilted its helm to the side.
"Brainstorm?" A small ex-vent. "KS Solutions: Specializes in cloud based software engineering regarding cybersecurity systems. Does not have the capacity now, or in the near future, for hardware development. You are...aware of this, correct?"

Why Mask Bans Fail Jews and Other Marginalized Groups - Published June 28, 2024
The #UnmaskHateNY campaign, launched to address rising antisemitism, proposes banning masks for Jewish safety but leaves disabled Jews and other marginalized communities behind. This initiative could have severe public health repercussions and stigmatize vulnerable groups.
Challenges of Enforcing Health Exemptions Health exemptions for mask bans are impractical and unfair to enforce. Determining eligibility would burden individuals and law enforcement, especially since many health conditions requiring masks can be invisible- At least 10% of Americans have invisible disabilities. Some individuals wear masks to protect their health or the health of family members, even if they do not have any documented health risks themselves.
Requiring disclosure of private medical information infringes on privacy rights and can lead to discrimination. The logistical challenges of verifying exemptions would result in inconsistent application and abuse, creating a civil rights and public health crisis.
Stigmatizing Masks Leads to Harassment Masks are crucial for safeguarding public health. Associating mask-wearing with anti-hate efforts undermines public safety and discriminates against health-conscious individuals.
Misguided Comparisons The campaign draws parallels to historical instances of masked intimidation, such as those by the Ku Klux Klan. However, this comparison is misguided. Today, most people wear masks to protect their health and the health of others, not to intimidate. This conflation unfairly penalizes those who mask for safety and contributes to a climate of fear and discrimination. There is no substantial evidence that banning masks will deter crime or improve public safety. Data shows that crime rates decreased despite increased masked use. Studies have shown that face masks are less effective than sunglasses in hiding identity and do not deter facial recognition software.
Increased Danger for Mask-Wearers Mask bans can often lead to increased harassment and discrimination against those who wear masks, including Jewish individuals.
After North Carolinaâs legislation was introduced in May 2024, mask-wearers have experienced harassment and assault, even before it was made into law.
New Yorkers have already been subject to physical attacks due to mask usage.
A man in New Jersey was left permanently blind after being attacked for wearing a mask in September 2023.

From the beginning | Previously | Coin standings | 5/18 | 6/6
MS. OVEREAGER is happy to help you out with your problems- you need to do what, again? STALL AND REMOVE GEARS? No problemo. She'll get started right away! And by "get started", I mean "dissolve into nothingness because she was a hallucination masking an abstract concept"! You're on your own, buckos.
Okay, so... Adea thinks that this ODD TAIL AVATAR DATA VALIDATOR is after the gears that Walter ransacked from this place to heal himself earlier. If he can get them out, it'll probably stop chasing him. But removing them- even though they're clearly hurting him at this point- will hurt more, like pulling a knife out of a stab wound. He's going to need to stabilize somewhat before you can risk it.
Right here, with a Defrag Point to heal with, is the best place to do it- but he "healed" about 15% STINGY OUTLIER SOUL INTEGRITY earlier, so he should expect removing the gears to do at least that much damage. He'll need to stay there healing for at least enough time to go through two hunger, probably three, to not die on the spot. So it's a question of... how much time does he have to heal before the DATA VALIDATOR arrives and it's time to operate?
Zero. Zero amount of time. It's right here.
Five NOBLE BELT TUTS remain in the DENIAL OF SERVICE gun. Is it worth it to spend them fending this thing off? By the numbers, no. It's more efficient to just buy SOFTWARE PATCHes. But Adea isn't putting up with this thing chasing after her husband one moment more.

Four left. The undulating thing is frozen in place. Slowly- achingly slowly- the Defrag Point starts knitting Walter back together. As it does, Adea pries clockwork out of his chest, causing him to shudder violently. It's slow, and harrowing, and every gasp of pain from her scrungly little man makes her wince- but she pulls out about a third of it before the thing finishes rattling off rejection messages for the packets.
Error: architectural entity field 0x0--
BLAM.
The two of you, on top of being injured, are practically starving. Adea suggests-
Walter says we absolutely not resorting to cannibalism on purpose! That was an accident! He wasn't in his right mind! No way no way no way!
Adea says fine, and Walter lets out a cut-off scream as she rips out a driveshaft assembly that was pretending to be his lung. She's got about two-thirds of it out, now- and she's got an idea to conserve ammo.
Error: architectural entity field 0x07CF referenced without blueprint key. Update loop deferred until resource is released.
Yeah, you want this stuff, right? Go get it, Adea says- flinging a gear like a frisbee. The DATA VALIDATOR swoops through the air after it, snagging the gear on a tooth with frightening speed. But... not so frightening that she can't delay it a little more with what she's got.
She hurls the lung-driveshaft like a javelin behind the thing, and then starts chucking the rest of the clockwork every which way, scattering it over a wide area. Like a vampire confronted with grains of rice, the DATA VALIDATOR starts scrambling for the pieces of its precious architectural entity field 0x07CF, twisting itself into knots.
While it chases down cogs, sprockets, gears, and springs... Adea hurries back over to Walter, and rips the rest of the machinery from his chest cavity. This one hurts. He's a huge baby about it and screams like that one time she accidentally bought chili oil instead of lu- uh, like it hurts a lot. This would definitely kill him if he weren't being actively defragmented. She tries not to think about that.
You were kind of hoping this thing would immobilize itself from tying itself in knots, but it's able to stretch itself out and slip through gaps in its own Gordian nightmare. It's all you can do to get the rest of it out before it closes in on you again.
Daintily, it pries open a hatch on the sidewalk with one tooth- and then, piece by piece, delicately reassembles the machinery that Walter mistook for spare parts earlier.
Update loop resumes.
With an audible TWANG, and the sound of rushing air, the tension in the DATA VALIDATOR's tail is released. The knot undoes itself, and its head shoots off backwards into the distance as it's recalled to its starting point in the blink of an eye.
It's gone.
...Now what?
The FILIAL TWINS are still here, and you could always go somewhere with a phone and participate in a NAIAD RUMBLE- but there's a few other possible priorities.
There's this moronic cook who doesn't realize he's not welcome. IDIOT CHEF WON'T GO, so you've got to do something to get rid of the jerk.
You could explore the CURVE HOUSE, a weird distorted funhouse-mirror version of a normal building with all its right angles. Seems disorienting!
There's this guy named Pete sitting on the sidewalk nearby who won't stop crying. EMOTIONAL PETER should probably go to actual therapy, but maybe the two of you can help?
There's a FIENDISH ELF ARISING, and it may or may not be your duty as legendary heroes to stop it from becoming a new Demon Lord or somesuch.
Mom's trapped! OH, RELEASE MOM! From her prison that happens to be here for some reason! ...Which one of your moms is it, anyway?
Continued
#lost in hearts#we're back! with a long one!#except uh. i have a funeral to go to tomorrow so probably no update tomorrow#life has been rough lately i tell you what

day 16 :) this is a continuation based off Farewell by scout_eki on ao3! if u haven't heard of them pls read all their stuff their works are so so good
He couldn't get those hours he'd spent with Dream out of his head. The stark contrast between him and Nightmare had been startling, uncomfortable even. Dream was unbearably kind, so patient and genuine and just-nice. How he let Cyber ramble about what he loved, and even seemed interested as well. Not to mention being quite easy on the eyes. Hair like liquid gold, beautifully tan freckled skin, and eyes green as a lit up circuit board. How could Cyber not like him?
So, in the weeks since The Experiment, he dedicated every hour of his free time into creating an android as close to Dream as he could get.
From what he could glean in their time together, Cyber was able to draw out several different designs for his project. Dream possessed slightly more muscle mass than Nightmare, walked at a steadier pace, spoke lighter and faster. All this and more ran through Cyber's head as he brainstormed until finally he settled on a concrete design.
The materials were relatively easy to collect what with Nightmare being far too easy to persuade combined with his own personal stock. Building machines was nothing new to him. After all, he'd built all his equipment himself. Everything from his computer to his EKG heart monitor to his X-Ray machine were crafted by his two hands. He preferred it that way; no chance of faulty equipment.
But an android was no defibrillator or MRI scanner. While hardly unheard of in this society, still only the elites could afford them and the companies that manufactured them were 'tight-lipped,' to say the least. So, he had little precedence to fall back on.
Just three weeks and four days after The Experiment and he had a prototype moving about.
After four weeks, it carried out verbal commands and could multitask.
After six weeks, it looked a lot more like Dream in the outfit Cyber had bought it, but in doing so, he might've humanized it too much. Looking at its face--the face he made--felt like an invasion of privacy. His only references were Nightmare who kept his mask on all the time and the few hours with Dream where he'd quickly deduced he probably wasn't supposed to be seeing his face. So, his best solution was a simple screen that could display different emotions, done through a variety of default emoticons Cyber had installed in its display software.
And after two months, it completed tasks Cyber was certain he didn't code.
When he awoke one morning to the smell of bacon and eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice, he recognized three things. One: there wasn't a doubt in his mind about what a mess the kitchen probably looked like. Two: he should really remember to eat more because there was no way an android could make actually tasty food. And three: he needed to take a look at Dreamoid's--the name he'd settled on for it--programming stat.
To his utter bewilderment, Dreamoid's mental and emotional capacity had been growing exponentially since the day he wired the circuits. Little bits at a time until he could decipher several emotions and possible mind states just by looking at a person's facial expression.
Scary, but also, "Incredible..." he breathed, eyes darting back and forth over the lines of code on his screen. It seemed that with the way he'd set up the various algorithms and what data values he'd fed the starting points had developed into a pseudo-machine learning behavior. Dreamoid got smarter and more precise with each new interaction, even recognizing the complexities of what he saw enough to establish connections between present situations, previous context, and future possibilities. On top of all that, he'd evolved to preemptively make decisions that would avoid what he categorized as 'negative emotion states' and increase the likelihood of positive ones.
The worst of it? Dreamoid consciously tracked his own states, his own consciousness.
Cyber slumped back in his chair. It was official. The robot takeover would happen tomorrow and he was to blame.
How had Dreamoid not completely subjugated him by now? He was more emotionally intelligent than him!
Dreamoid's screen lit up with a big question mark. "What's bothering you, Maker?"
"Uh, it's nothing you need to worry about, Dream. I'm just pondering over something..."
The screen changed, three dots in a row bounced to show Dreamoid was formulating a response. Finally, he settled on a simple smiley face. "Okay. If you say so."
Well, that wasn't ominous at all. Cyber simultaneously feared and excitedly anticipated his future.

Like many people, he had assumed that Appleâs Find My device software offers exact location tracking. But such programs rely on an unreliable combination of signals from GPS satellites, cell towers, Wi-Fi networks, and other connected devices nearby, and their accuracy can vary from a few feet to hundreds of miles. In the past, this ambiguity has led to threats, holdups, and even SWAT raids at the wrong addresses. (Apple did not respond to a request for comment.)
What a shock. Massive corporation hopes nobody will notice how their flawed products contribute to major issues.
But as summer turned to fall, progress on the case began to falter. Hundreds of Crime Stoppers tips were still pouring in, including some from psychics. Baker and Sandoval crisscrossed the state to interrogate a trio found with drugs, guns, and masks in Gypsum and to interview the Senegalese community in the mountain town of Silverthorne. (For decades, West Africans had found work in the ski hubâs many resorts, hotels, and grocery stores.) They even chased a lead to Iowa. âWe got pretty hopeful here and there, but it just kind of fizzled out,â recalls Baker. The detectives were feeling the pressure. In the wake of nationwide Black Lives Matter protests that summer, a petition demanding police stop âundervaluing the lives of BIPOC individualsâ and prioritize the investigation into the deaths of the Diol family collected nearly 25,000 signatures. Baker and Sandoval were told not to take on any new cases so they could work this one full time.
Basically admitting that if this had happened at any other point in time, these folks would have been SOL - as are most crime victims, tbh. Which is something cop defenders really don't like people to look at.
âEven a single query can reveal deeply private facts about a person, things they might not share with friends, family, or clergy,â wrote Seymourâs legal team. ââPsychiatrists in Denver;â âabortion providers near me;â âis my husband gay;â âdoes God exist;â âbankruptcy;â âherpes treatmentâ ⌠Search history is a window into what people wonder aboutâand it is some of the most private data that exists.â
Ah, yes, the "most private data" that is shared with various corporations and advertisers and anyone else willing to pay for it. Don't get me wrong - I'm not arguing in favor of expanding the power of the police here. It's just so odd to me that anyone thinks of their search data as "private" in the US.
