idk the name of the instrument but they have only one beat stretching through the song until the first chorus, which is where a few more beats are added. then those beats continue until the second chorus, where even more beats are added. and the final chorus is like the result of the build-up ygm

i say oneus and stayc. if those groups were under big4? you bet they'd be one of the biggest 4th gen groups. not to mention their songs, which are literal bops, and apart from one or two, their title tracks never miss. people fr be sleeping on amazing music!!

i've been listening to oneus since debut, and they've always done that thing with their title tracks where all 3 chorus are different, with the first two being just one thing away from pure satisfaction- like they literally tease us throughout their entire song, and when the final chorus hits? utter relief, ascending to the clouds, 9999 levels of euphoric satisfactions achieved! not everyone can do that, and they do this incredibly well. their choruses always hit the spot! like in 'come back home' and 'lit' to name a few. i swear if ppl just listened to them, they literally have top tier discography

and stayc! i'm not familiar with their bsides, just the title tracks, but i bet their bsides are just as good. i think like everyone else my first song of them was asap and i started following their music soon after. i love how while trying different concepts and sounds, they're still so distinctively stayc. you just know it's a stayc song as soon as it plays. if i could have one word to describe their songs, it would be 'fun'. like even with their more sentimental song 'beautiful monster' (my underrated queen, literally my fav song from them) they have that fun element about them, bubbling with youth and it's so refreshing. i'm quite a fan of their recent cb too. they never miss, and i wish more ppl heard and appreciated them.

weeekly literally have such amazing vocals and performances. i know prob everyone heard their song 'after school' but like, don't you think they have such a nostalgic sound about them? if you heard their recent cb 'vroom vroom', it's so... idk why it reminds me of sth and i can't quite put a finger on what. their songs do that to me. monday is amazing and has so much potential as a main vocalist, so does soeun. they're literally such a power vocal duo. i've been listening to them pre-debut so its sad to see they still don't get the recognition they deserve. idk if it's bc their company don't have the budget for them or they're not that popular that they don't have many comebacks but they always slay

dreamcatcher too. literally such an amazing group full of the best performers in the industry, dare i say. their presence, concepts, skills are on par with some of the greatest kpop groups and im glad they're finally getting some limelight. the fact that they have choreos like 'scream' and they're singing live blows me. they're like the ateez of girl groups.

there's so many more i could talk about- purple kiss, pixy -- both with unique concepts and amazing performances. i don't stan a lot of the 4th gen boy groups so i can't say for sure (i'm made for the girls i guess) but sf9 comes to mind.

Sage is not much of a singer. Ironic, right? She just prefers to rap more. It was until tonight when she realized how good she was. They were recording tonight for a skz-code episode at an arcade. One of Sage’s favorite places. She seriously felt like a little kid in a candy shop. In true fashion, they each received their own missions this episode. Can you guess Sage’s mission? It was “Do a high note with the karaoke machine.”

“That’s so random.” Sage laughed into the camera. “Ah, I don’t do high notes at all, really. Stay~ Please don’t be disappointed if I fail~” Sage sent a kiss to the camera before departing to go on her way.

She hit a few claw machines first, winning a few plushies. (thanks to her bf hyunjin) She was over the moon happy! Now was time for her mission. Once she realized the karaoke booth was empty, she walked in, waving at the small cameras inside. She took a minute deciding what song to pick. While she was, Felix came to see what Sage was up to.

“You’re gonna sing? You never do karaoke.” Felix pointed out from behind her. “No Yongbok, i’m paying my taxes right now. I’m obviously not gonna sing.” She retorted with a smile, earning a soft punch from Felix. That’s just how they play around.

Finally, a song was picked. Boca by Dreamcatcher. Just like how Seungmin loves Day6, Sage is in love with Dreamcatcher.

Just as she starts the song, It’s like a siren attracting pirates because Minho whips his head around to the beautiful vocals that are Sage’s and he immediately made his way over to her. “Ah Miju!! Do well!!” which startled Sage a bit while singing, causing her to jump a bit and mess up a note, followed by a small laugh by herself and Felix.

So far, so good. The group around her got bigger, more members crowding around Sage. As it got close to the end of the song, Sage got slightly nervous because that’s where the high note was. But oh we’re the members in awe. She hit those notes with such elegance and perfection, realizing a talent she didn’t know she had. As the song closed out, all the members cheered at her new talent while Sage stood there dumbfounded. She couldn’t believe herself. Soon that expression formed into a smile, her members giving her praise.

“Miju, you did do good!!” Chan chimed.

“I thought you were good for nothing, but still, good job!” Seungmin laughed, Sage turning around to sock him right in the mouth causing Seungmin to run away.

She wouldn’t trade these boys for anything else in the world…. well if you handed her a calico critters playset, she’ll happily give them away!

She's the favorite daughter of her mom and also is the most loved by her father, and well... of her husband too.

Jung Jihun - Lee Pil Mo

Chief Prosecutor of Gangnam District.

Has a really bad mood everytime and usually yells at his juniors, his marriage is about to end and his work situation isn't really better after Yujin's case comes up.

He is the chief judge of the Seoul court.

Lee Haneul - Lee Da Hee

She's the attorney of the Ahn Family.

She studied abroad half of her life, featuring the top universities in Korea and the USA.

Nerþuz- also an embarrassing disco fan, much like Askr. Likes Gloria Gaynor the most.

Fjorm and Hríd- basic bitches. They love Taylor Swift and Beyoncé (tw Taylor Swift🤮, tw Beyoncé🤮)

Helbindi- Jazz music and there's no contest. Ella Fitzgerald is his favorite, but he also likes Herbie Hancock and Louis Armstrong.

Alfonse- he didn't have any particular interests until Sharena unintentionally got him into k-pop after overhearing a song she was listening to, and he's become a k-pop fan. He's the biggest fan of A.C.E., but likes several bands including Day6, Astro, Stray Kids, and SHINee. He writes tons of fanfiction and secretly uses the treasury to commission fanart.

Sharena- pretty versatile, but likes mostly pop music. She prefers girl bands the most and likes the dynamics. Her favorite things are filling out personality quizzes to see which girl she is. Any kinds from anywhere. Her favorite band is Katseye, though lately she’s been getting into Red Velvet.

Hello, darlings! Long time no see. How are you doing? I sincerely hope life has been kind to you lately.

I know I said in the last chapter of Les Pétals D'Amour that I'll give you a lil' update on my life as well as explain a bit the gap that has been happening during my story updates.

The thing is that for a university project I had to follow up with a planning method, a structure my professor indicated us and that we had to apply to (preferably our job) a project we wanted to develop. I chose to do it on a story idea that came to my mind on my birthday (May 28th, btw...) and I had been so excited to write it but thought it would be a long-time project and all given that I have university going on and I have to keep my scholarship + some minor health issues I am also going through.

However, when my professor said we could apply the methodology wherever we saw fit, I instantly knew I had to take the chance and write my story. These past few months have been filled with lots and lots and lots of investigation and mapping out my plot idea as well as designing my characters, the mood through playlists and moodboards and getting inspiration from novels with the same topics.

It has been pretty fun and I can already picture myself finishing this story that came to me in a moment of illumination of the mind, lmao. I am so happy to start writing, probably next week and I have until December 9th to do as much as possible as well as receive some feedback from my beta readers and all.

This is the reason why I have been delaying writing here for a bit. The story is already planned but I have other priorities right now. I'll do my best to get a chapter for October so that we can move on Gwi and Petal's story as I am also in love with this little community we have created together. I promise I'll finish this story and many are to come!

Just give me some time to finish my project, as I said, maybe I'll get a surge of inspiration and finish chapter 17 soon but I don't want to promise anything.

If you have reached this point, you are a darling and I am immensely grateful for all the support I have received in my little corner of the internet. You all have made me believe in myself and helped to actually have the courage to start writing what would be my first formal original draft. here are some of my headcanons detailing what kpop groups some of the 1-a students would listen too!!

also i’m terribly sorry for the inactiveness. got diagnosed with autism and dropped out of uni (i’m so much happier now) and am going to pursue my art dreams.

jirou loves day6! prefers k-rock over k-pop but still knows all the best hits of each year. her expert knowledge mainly focuses on second generation groups. it’s as if she’s been spending years preparing for a pop quiz on this. other artists she likes include the rose, xdinary heroes and rolling quartz. she loves boy groups and girl groups equally.

this man is a stan of snsd. tenya is a very cultured man and generally gives me second gen stan vibes. he truly believes ‘into the new world’ changed the trajectory of his life and had the biggest cultural impact of any piece of media in this century. tenya will write an essay arguing this. he also appreciates exo and shinee! hates superjunior (as he should) but hearing lucifer gets his hips shaking side to side.

momo loves classical and instrumental music (her spotify wrapped is just studio ghibli soundtracks) but she can appreciate the occasional k-pop song. she loves female soloists in particular! think iu, taeyeon, chungha, ailee… she knows how to appreciate beautiful female vocals. also has a strong affinity for k-drama soundtracks. the ones with special idol features - you know what i’m talking about. slow, romantic ballads. shows jirou all her favourite ones (jirou thinks they’r kind of boring but listens just for her girlfriend).

izuku loves bts because of the messages in their songs. he finds their story so inspiring. izuku relates to the fact that they built up their legacy from the ground up with nothing but hard work, and that they were ignored for so long. definitely listens to spring day and young forever when he is sad and just sobs (just like me fr). if you knock on his dorm and ask if he’s okay, he will squeak out a response insisting he’s fine. but you can still hear him sobbing into the pillow during the pauses before the next queued songs play. oh and izuku’s bias is namjoon because of how well spoken and intellectual he is, but he admires all members for their passion. oh and and ochako introduced him to twice!! he loves how cheerful their music is.

now, uraraka has devoted her life to twice. she is a diehard twice fan. but she is poor and her only album was a gift from kirishima and she treasures it. her favourite era was dance the night away and her bias is jihyo (this is so intellectual of her). carries a photocard in her phone case. class 1-a surprise ochako with tickets to see them live on one of her birthdays (they piled up all their money) and she just started floating towards the ceiling in shock. then she cried there

mina is in love with ateez!! she loves to learn their dances and appreciates their high energy. also thinks they are the most beautiful men to grace this earth (this is facts). her bias is yeosang. she knows every choreo and it always looks incredible. for school festivals, mina will gather some of her classmates and force them to learn complicated dance choreo to perform in front of everyone. this year it was o.o by nmixx.

shouto undoubtedly listens to loona and is not afraid of admitting it. it’s like the patrick bateman meme - he walks with zero emotion but hi high is blasting in his headphones. however does not know their names, or at least he cannot put name to face. but yes he knows their whole discography. bought an album once and he was shocked at how many inclusions there were (he was expecting just a cd). eventually discovers the loona universe and fan theories and for a week straight it was all shouto spoke to his friends about. they got so annoyed they blocked the word loona from their social medias temporarily so it wouldn’t set him off on a spiral.

: ̗̀➛ katsuki bakugo

hmm.. katsuki loves dreamcatcher. this man has got superior taste. i feel like katsuki would mainly listen to rock music and hip-hop. so other artists he may appreciate are dean, dpr live and epik high. but sometimes you can hear red velvet coming from his dorm and if you question him about it he will scream at you (if it plays when katsu is drunk you can even catch at a peek at him doing the choreo when he thinks no one is looking).

also a cultured man as kirishima is a fan of twice. he joins the girls when they had ‘girly’ sleepovers and learns the dances from them (this headcanon applies to all their ‘girls night’ sleepovers. kiri makes them so much fun). this is especially fun during award shows, where they all gather around a laptop, eyes wide and glossy as they wait for their favourite groups to hopefully be announced as winners. definitely films the dances on tiktok and also shows them to katsuki later. based on mina’s recommendation, he would probably listen to ateez too!

i sense a neverland. this man is obsessed with (g)-idle. denki has a crush on soyeon (he is me). denki cried when soojin left (i did too) but will take this to his grave. also loves stayc. he most certainly owns a few albums. he prefers girl groups over boy groups because he is a bit of a perv (sorry denki i love you!!). but also because denki believes girl groups have superior music. his most played song of all time is tell me by the wonder girls.

Do you listen to more oldies or more current stuff? A mix of both but leaning more to oldies, the majority of my favourite songs and artists are either from the 60s & 70s era, or the 90s & 00s era <3 

Would you wear a t-shirt of a band you're not into? Probably not, even if the design is cool i only wear band tshirts if i care abt the band. But if someone gave me an artist tshirt as a gift, i’d wear it AND listen to the artist it depicts 👍

ooh yea so i was thinking abt this last night after i said that but i fell asleep 💀

nobara would have a biiiiig crush on sana but her bias would actually be jihyo, she loves all of them pretty equally tho

megumi would like seulgi i think, but he would have a soft spot for yeri, i can see him fighting haters online when she got added to the group. also he prefers their more r&b songs rather than the more upbeat pop songs

yuuji would probably bias johnny and/or mark. im just going on vibes at this point idk, he’d probably think their humor is rlly funny

side note yuuji being the only boy group stan out of all of them makes so much sense
