It's the annual kaer morhen camping trip!

And this year jaskier is joining in the fun! He bought an RV that's completely decked out. AC, fridge, mini jacuzzi, internet, TV with all the subscriptions, and soo much more. He also brought a ton of catered food. He is following the highest definition of glamping.

Geralt spends the time pitching up his own simple tent, with generic military rations as a back up. He's planning on eating whatever he can scavenge from nature. He is a camper, and has been teasing jaskier about how 'jaskier isn't a real camper like geralt and the others'

Naturally all the kaer morons hang out in jaskiers RV, leaving geralt outside and pouting in his little leaky tent grumbling about "what real camping is"

As summer drew to a close the newly graduated third years of the Itachiyama volleyball club, along with a select few classmate friends, decided to go spend a weekend outdoors - away from the city and the constant noise, away from the impending pressure of university, soaking up those last few pockets of warmth before fall took over and their days would undoubtedly be ruled by studying once more. However, after Sakusa‘s ice-cold glare at the word “camping”, it quickly turned to glamping.

The sun started to set when the shuttle rolled smoothly along the narrow road up to a small grouping of dome-shaped tents nestled neatly in a wide clearing on an otherwise densely vegetated hillside. Fall had already begun to dot the trees with golds and vermillion and although the weather was cooling down by the day, many visitors strolled across the lawn, playing badminton or throwing a frisbee accompanied by a lot of loud hollering and laughter, much to Sakusa’s dismay. One by one you hopped off the bus and looked around, taking deep breaths of the fresh mountain air. Mount Fuji, the bottom of which was surrounded by a cloud of gray mist, was clearly visible in the distance and its snowy top seemed to glow in the remaining sunlight.

Sleeping arrangements were somewhat quickly decided with only minor squabbling and the group headed to the nearby town center to grab fresh supplies for this night‘s BBQ.

While Komori was busy orchestrating the grilling, Sakusa beelined to the still empty showers to escape the incessant chatter of the group for a while. He let out a long sigh as the hot water ran down his back, massaging his shoulder. It still felt stiff after the last match. He replayed the game in his mind, every block, every spike, every failed attack. He cringed when he remembered how he messed up a serve because he heard you calling his name in encouragement through the crowd‘s cheers. Leaning his head back, he closed his eyes for a moment, your voice still in his ears. You had stood with the reserves on the side of the court, the team jacket tied around your pudgy tummy, scribbling notes on your clipboard without looking at the paper so you didn’t miss anything. As the picture of your smile during the inevitable victory hug that followed became more vivid, he shut the water off.

When he rejoined the others, hair as curly as ever from the steam, they were already plating up.

“Hey captain, glad you could make it.”, Komori greeted him jokingly, “To be honest, we thought you might have called a taxi back to Tokyo.”

The group chuckled and his cousin nodded to the free seat next to you.

After dinner, it was voted that everyone would toss around a glow-in-the-dark volleyball that one of them bought just for the occasion. Sakusa didn’t feel the need to join and when he spotted you sitting outside your tent wrapped in a blanket he decided to push his bedtime back a little.

“Not in the mood?”, he asked, standing a bit awkwardly with his hands in his pockets in front of the wooden deck the tent was on.

“More so that I can trip on a well-lit court just fine. Invisible divots in the meadow would only make it worse.”

He nodded.

“Good point.”

“Hey!”, you laughed.

“Mind if I join you?”

“Uhm, no go ahead.”, you scooched over on the picnic blanket you had laid out and he sat down next to you.

“How come you’re here and not playing over there?”

“Not interested.”, Sakusa said simply, “But I don’t need Komori accusing me of being antisocial, so…”

“Ah, hiding in plain sight with the other introvert. I see I see.”

He smiled.

“So, what were you doing before I interrupted?”

“Just stargazing.”

He leaned back on his hands and followed your eyes. The night was strewn with stars, hanging like a thousand little lanterns on the inky sky. The crescent moon barely lit the campgrounds. Sakusa shivered when a breeze brushed past.

“Here.”, you said and tugged at the blanket around your shoulders, throwing part of it over his back. He had half a mind to shrug it off but it carried your warmth and scent, so instead, after a second thought, he pulled it closer.

“Look, there is Cygnus.”, he pointed to a cluster of stars somewhere to your right to distract you from possibly noticing the blush that crept onto his cheeks.

“Really?”

“No idea.”

You squinted at him and he chuckled.

For a while you were both quiet, just letting your eyes wander along the stars. The sounds of the fellow campers were more subdued now. People were talking over bonfires, toasting to the end of summer and someone was playing relatively pleasant music in the distance. The smell of roasted marshmallows wafted in your direction. Sakusa looked down and noticed that your hand was only inches away from his. If he moved his fingers a little further…

“I’m gonna miss being your manager.”, you sighed without taking your eyes off the sky.

“We’re going to the same university, aren’t we?”, he asked, still focused on slowly bringing his hand closer to yours.

“Oh, yeah but I meant, all of you guys. Not just you. Even though I’m gonna miss managing you more than - wait, not that I - uhm, I meant that-“

Your head snapped to the blanket where his large hand now covered your chubby fingers.

“I got it, don’t worry.”, he said, his voice sounding a lot raspier than he would have liked and so he attempted to covertly clear his throat.

Not even the night could hide his blush as he tried to look unbothered when you turned your hand up to lace your fingers with his.

Are you sure?

August 14, 2023: I said this back last year:

Are Jimin and Jungkook going around the world Namjooning? In May they were in Japan. We know they were together in New York in July. And also in Connecticut during that same trip. And now they're cooling their butts off in the ocean down in Jeju? Where else have they been and we didn't know it? WhAt doEs it ALL mEaN? Are we getting some sort of vlog or Bon Voyage subunit at some point in the future? Is it for a subunit MV?

Last year, I knew saying all that might stir up some delulu controversy but I know there was a window of time in May when they could have snuck off to Japan. Someone supposedly saw them, and blabbed about it and that's why I had mentioned it last year. But that's it, only hearsay. It was enough to make me pay attention.

On July 12, 2023, Jungkook departed Incheon Airport for New York City to make appearances for Seven.

The next day, Jimin leaves to join him in New York (with a fresh full body wax that made his skin as slick and shiny as that terrazzo floor he's walking across):

Once in New York, the buzz about sightings of Jimin and Jungkook together began to heat up. First at a restaurant called Antoya where someone snapped some pics of them.

Then the next day the boat captain of the yacht they chartered blabbed about it and we got this from him:

Another sighting in Connecticut, buying grocery store deli pizza.

Then Jimin goes back to Korea and Jungkook moves on to London for more appearances related to Seven.

On August 31, Jimin posted this on his Instagram:

It looks like it was taken while they were in New York state or Connecticut.

He posted these on September 28 on his Instagram and said Jungkookie drew a fish, we later find out directly from Jungkook that Jimin also helped draw but it was supposed to be a whale (awwww):

On September 29, Taehyung posted this sunset from Jeju on Weverse:

And on October 3, Tae posted these on his Instagram:

They were at a place on Jeju called Chai Cafe – Jjaidabang (짜이다방).

Chuseok holiday was Sept. 28-30 (Thurs-Sat.) last year. Did the three spend Chuseok weekend there? If so, what was the trip back in August for?

On November 21, BigHit sent out the notice that Jimin, Jungkook, Taehyung and Namjoon had initiated the enlistment process.

We didn't know yet that the enlistment process had begun months and months earlier for Jimin and Jungkook because it was only right before they went in that we found out they'd be enlisting together under the accompanying military program or companionship enlistment. It was still a shock.

They knew they had to break it to everyone that they were going to spend the next 18 months together and they spent much of 2023 laying the foundation for that.

On November 23, 2023, Jimin and Jungkook depart Gimpo Airport together for Japan.

At this point, they can't or no longer care to hide or be discreet. That entire trip was riddled with sightings at the airports in Japan. Rumors of them staying at an onsen (hot spring) resort in Sapporo emerged when it was mentioned on a Japanese show.

Jimin posted these on his Instagram on November 25:

But what were they doing in Japan back in May, if we are to take the rumors of that sighting as possible too? Hmmmm. Don't know.

Well, now we know they were going where ever the mood struck on the spur of the moment and making it up as they went along. "Are You Sure?/Is this Right?" (however you'd like to interpret "이게맞아?)"

And we'll find out soon what sort of fun they had on all of these trips. Will Tae make a cameo appearance in the Jeju episodes? Will we see if they actually went "glamping" or if they were really trying to rough it? I can hear them now: "Is this right? wait, are you sure that goes there?"

They'll be on watercraft, and various types too: kayaks, sailboats, yachts...

The foods they will eat... will they include grocery store deli pizza in one of the episodes?

I wonder if they are eating seafood will they be catching it, cleaning it and cooking it? Again: "Am I doing this right? Are you sure? this doesn't look right. What do I do with these fish guts?"

And can't forget to talk about the drinking. The brewery they visited in Connecticut and possibly Sapporo... All I can hear from them here are the satisfied "ahhs" when they take the first taste.

Will we finally see MMA in their sleep?

All I know is they were very, very excited about it.

They promise it will be unpredictable as they embark on their journey without any plans, simply relishing the joy of traveling together. 

As I sit here thinking about them (as I often do), the past year (or two or ten) continues to bring into focus more and more their dynamic and relationship. All the unnecessary projections and narratives that people have placed and continue to place upon them...Jimin and Jungkook just continue being themselves and as close as ever through it all.

All of last year and even all the previous years, all of the things: the "twinning" in their style concepts for their solo work... the scenes of them from the Beyond the Star documentary... the passages in the Beyond the Story book about them and the GCFT trip... every time Jungkook mentioned Jimin, calling out to him during lives or spending time watching Jimin content, especially the post-NY/CT-naked-in-bed live that made us glitch:

2023 was not just another year of copying each other or strange coincidences. It was them preparing us for the inevitable.

All of it bringing it all into such sharp focus.

Anyway. All that rambling to say I have never wavered in my understanding of them as two people who were so very close, so very similar and so very important to each other.

And one more thing... what about this?

I thought it was coincidental that the bar pendent necklace that was sold at the Monochrome pop up was so similar to the one Jimin wore most of 2022...

Will we see the ring necklace as part of a merch line at some point in the future too?

Yup, this Father's Day is an extended weekend getaway!

The Cabin Resort in Bulacan is a loft-type cabin nestled in the middle of a farm, allowing guests to completely unplug and enjoy its natural surroundings. Though the cabins vary in size, each accommodation guarantees charming aesthetics, and a cozy ambiance! Guests who book a stay at The Cabin Resorts are also free to use the on-site pool, bikes, and even kayak through the ground’s lakes. You may rent an ATV to tour the entire farm or have a bonfire night for additional fees, too (read: sulit na sulit we tried all activities haha)

Each cabin can accommodate 6 to 8 people. It is fully made from wood and is elevated from the ground. The lower area, has a lounge, dining, and a veranda facing the man-made lake. The veranda was actually one of my favorite areas here (after the bedroom), overlooking the farmland where you can do fishing or just be seated on the wooden chairs to meditate or reflect. Inside, they have used huge mirrors to make the room look more spacious. It got huge windows too that give enough lighting during the day. Overall, the whole space got a very peaceful and homey vibe.

The resort doesn’t have a nearby restaurant or convenience store. But do not worry, because there is an in-house restaurant that can give guests decent food. The Cabin Resorts’ in-house restaurant is located at the end of the property just across the infinity pool. The restaurant offers Filipino foods like bulalo, sinigang, bagnet and likes. They also have kinds of pasta, grilled items, sizzlers, and snacks. All-day-breakfast also comprises of the usual tapsilog, longsilog, bangsilog variants.

After lunch, you can find your own sunbed and chill by the pool deck. When the sun is out, most of the guests are in their airconditioned cabins, so that was our favorite time to hang out. Because then, we’d have the place to ourselves! It was fun watching everyone do their first attempts at riding the ATV and shooting some arrows.

If you’re not particular about plush bedding and luxurious amenities, you’ll appreciate The Cabin Resorts and the activities they have to offer. Honestly, I think this is such an upgraded glamping experience. 

Last but not the least, the sunset bar. Ahh what a good way to cap the day! We never imagined that they would have free flowing cocktails at the Sunset Bar. We ordered everything available on the menu and danced to the music while watching the magnificent sunset.

Aside from being pet friendly, all the activities made this trip a very memorable one. Always refreshing to see my family, especially my parents, enjoy their time with our fur babies. Will definitely go back!

even better if the weathers a little colder and it’s raining because it would be so incredibly cozy, snuggled up in bed watching the rain through the windows and time would pass by way too quickly because you’re just enjoying each others company so much

I saw these highland cow cabins this morning and they looked so nice, I can just imagine showing up and Mase standing back to watch you gushing over how adorable the cows are and then how cute all the furniture is inside of the cabin 😅 he’d think you’re crazy but he loves you for it and he loves seeing you so happy 🙂‍↕️ (if you don’t know what I’m talking about then look them up on tiktok because it really would be the coziest little staycation ever)

Cia's a pro at living outdoors, and Bajo will set up this beautiful tent inside one of those plastic bubbles with soft mats to lie on, absolutely swimming in blankets and pillows and plushies, surrounded by his sweetest-smelling roses.

-Speaking of Bajo, when he sees how tired and run down you are, makes it his mission to get you as comfortable and relaxed as he can. He'll install a nap pit the size of a standard living room that's basically a gigantic bed sunk into the floor, and would you look at that, there's little cubbies to stash snacks and books in and even a mini fridge for drinks. If you want, you could spend days snuggled up in that thing, sleeping as much as you want and cuddling with as many clones as you can handle.

-Scarabee is taking you to a rage room to get all your frustration out, and hopefully some wanton destruction will get your endorphins up. He'll treat you to a night on the town in one of his casinos, rig the games so you get that rush from winning (its money he'd probably spend on you anyway), and cap off the night with an elaborate dinner he made himself, enjoyed out on the boat deck under the stars.

-Zhuk owns like, two dozen luxury resorts, you have free use of them anytime you please. But aside from that, he'll bring you to animal rescues and shelters for dog/cat therapy. -Mozzie is going to indulge any daredevil/impulsive ideas you have. You wanna go get that tattoo you've been dreaming of? Say less, let's go. You wanna sneak into the art museum after hours and look at paintings without the crowds? He can get into the security system and make sure you're not caught. Skydiving? Bungee jumping? Zip lining? He's right behind you. Also definitely has the hookups for some great shit if you wanna get high--I mean, all of the dons do, really, but Mozzie will let you try the Netherworld stuff none of the others will let you touch. Under his supervision, of course.
