my demestrap vision is that they get into a relationship immediately after demeter escapes macavity because munkustrap seems very caring & safe and he DOES!! genuinely want to help her but he's also a little too fixated on trying to fix her and has a habit of being a bit too patronizing with EVERYONE and their relationship was never really going to work out but it lasts a while because demeter is newly traumatized and not entirely sure how to set correct boundaries or advocate for herself in a relationship. very "well he's trying so hard to make me happy so i should just be grateful" but munk's numerous anxieties are not good for her recovery. so they break up. that's my demestrap

Also Tugger: licking your ear annoyingly as soon as you stop giving him attention.

Oh wonderful, now he's using the tassel on the end of his tail to bap Munkustrap's ears (and distract him from Demeter's cuddles and thigh-clawing 👀).

Honestly on the two preview shows I saw I was waiting for the kittens to be offended but none of them seemed to notice that Grandpa was being rude! They were just happy to be talked to/about. Nobody ever expected Charlie's Bill Bailey to know what's going on in front of him, and Guy's Carbuckety just giggles at everything.

Munk definitely checked in on Jemi multiple times though. 😌

And, uh. The demestrap in general had a lot of “geez you two get a room” moments.

This boot is kind of funny bc it's shot around a couple people's heads and there's this one bald motherfucker right in front of the guy recording who blocks like 70% of the action. Which sucks, BUT, the main action being mostly blocked means there's a big chunk of Misto's solo that's just The Tugger Cam™ and it's great
