This is one of the many “small” things that I appreciate with Hikari. I noticed she gives her brother food every now and then. She doesn’t want her older brother to starve when he feels stressed or tired.

It also brings back memories in the first movie. Taichi was the one cooking Hikari’s meals when she was just a young child. As Hikari got older, she values the efforts for her brother caring for her and cherishes him by this bringing some food for him.
