Oooh you want to know what bit of misinformation about Sonic that really upsets me? Nearly everything about Fleetway Super Sonic.

Fleetway Super Sonic isn't its own transformation, it's Fleetway comics take on Sonic's standard Super form and. Fleetway Super Sonic is never even called that in Sonic the Comic and is just called Super Sonic even when Super Sonic became a separate character than actual Sonic. However there is alot of people who say that Fleetway Super Sonic is basically the original Dark Super Sonic and even will have Super Sonic introduce himself as Fleetway is fics when he really shouldn't.

ohhh i was just thinking about this not too long ago . to be honest this is kinda a sonic fandom pet peeve of mine like yeah i understand calling him fleetway super sonic as a way of making it clear which super sonic youre talking about because stc's take on super sonic is very different from any other version of the transformation. but i see so many people talk about him as if fleetway is like. his in universe name ? when fleetway is just the name of the comic company ? ive never even read stc and i knew that. overall its harmless but it still makes me go Okay but thats not correct .

#also when people say ''fleetway sonic'' in reference to super sonic and not normal sonic Like hello that doesnt make sense #i dont know enough about stc to know what he actually acts like and what the stories involving him are like #so i cant really. look at fanart of him and decide if i think its out of character or not #but with how widespread the name misconception is i have to wonder if a lot of people making fan content of him #actually know anything about stc? or if theyre basing their perception of him on Only fanart and fanfic and stuff #ive seen some people blame the name misconception on those annoying f/nf videos that were flooding youtube a while back #and that could be part of it especially among younger kids #who are getting a lot of their sonic info from whatever garbage the youtube algorithm is feeding them #but thats definitely not the root of it because i had been seeing it for years before that #idk #asks #anyway ive been thinking about reading stc lately actually i was thinking about it before i got this ask #might start soon. who knows

every time i so much as think about that scene where light looks at porn magazines while scowling i go into hysterics its genuinely the funniest thing i've ever seen

#the funniest thing is is that i truly believe he thought he was being 100% convincing. that that's normal behavior for a completely straight #completely allosexual man #light is fucking awful and i hate him but also there's nuance to him. and sometimes i can get a little like. oh thinking about his life #before the series. specifically factoring in my headcanons about him being gay aroace and autistic and stuff. ppl have written some rlly #good fics surrounding those topics.... but yeah thats not even canon stuff but i dont care #anyways its not in a way of making excuses for how he is i just think it adds more to his character #hes total garbage but i think theres really interesting stuff with him when it comes to how he's.... VERY disconnected from others #just in general. he's like aware of how to act ''normal'' on like the most textbook surface level without being like. Aware enough to #be able to make it more convincing. and as ridiculous as it is i do see some of myself in him in that sense #also that person who said light and L is just autistic guy who's been masking his entire life vs autistic guy who's never masked in his #entire life. LITERALLY EXACTLY. genuinely perfect way to describe them they are both so similar when it comes to this #but the ways they go about it are very different. light has been playing the part of the perfect son his whole life. L doesnt try to change #himself for anyone and doesnt care when people think hes weird. both of them arent very socially aware and havent had any real friends #their whole lives. its such a fascinating parallel between them #i could go on a whole fucking thing about how light was pretending to be someone he's not around his family and at school and everything #long before he got the death note BUT. i wont. at least not right now #jesus christ how did i go from laughing about him with the magazine to this. my bad #derailed my own damn post. idk swagever #will say rq tho. watched a vid on youtube that pointed out how light expected his family to think nothing of the fact that he's gone to #such drastic measures to hide his diary when making the plan with hiding the death note which is like #that level of dedication would NOT be normal. so the fact that light expects his family to think nothing of it......#i mean you could read that as light just once again being socially unaware. but it could also imply that light's family kind of Knows #he's hiding something and just doesn't address it. (he's gay. im talking about him being gay)#the video also referenced this comic that i didnt rb cause the actual premise of it (lawlight wedding) is um.#not at all my kind of thing. ONE FUCKING THING I will always thank gege for is that he barely creates any ships.

Like yeah people can ship whatever they want but if we go by text? Only 2 ships: a straight one and a gay one.

And you know what? You know EXACTLY which ships I mean CUZ THATS LITERALLY ALL THERE IS, I LOVE IT

And funny enough this makes the story better cuz without many pushed ships on the way, we can enjoy platonic healthy relationships :D

The trio works amazing cuz they're all platonic chaotic siblings, even when a lot of the adults are immature sometimes there's no perv character, the women are attractive and are not afraid to be attractive cuz they aren't objectified by both the other characters and the author! It's great! I love platonic relationships! I love to see all the characters in an equal footing!

#well one of them #but it really all centers around diana not being a protagonist in her own story #also yes im reading tk ww right now. needed to happen eventually and ive found the best time is the middle of the night when im tired as #fuck and have the least shits possible to give #anyways its not good. doesnt have me raging like i was this afternoon w the absolute power waller garbage but rlly think thats the 2am #effect at work #as opposed to signs of quality #like i like poetic style narration but this is all so detatched from diana and her feelings about any of this #and all the dialogue is so wooden and awful like :/#“no thank you” me at this run #legit like sarge steel is the only one allowed to use contractions here or something #and the plot makes no sense with diana's character! the timeskip makes her look like a piece of shit because shes functionally done nothing #to help her people over the MONTH where theyre being massacred!#anyways at least the art isnt ugly. there are some things i dont like about sampere's choices but hes no 90s benes or deodato thank god #that would be my final straw /j. i dont have straws rn thats the point of this read. turning off the part that cares 👍#im sure theres worse ww comics somewhere. but this is not the vibe for me clearly #but i will read bc why the fuck not and also i love diana too much not to at some point #blah
